bitchy | Erika Kirk ran her fingers through JD Vance’s hair on stage as they embraced

My dad was a practicing Hindu, although “practicing” isn’t really a thing in Hinduism. You either are or you aren’t, and from what I’ve seen, many Hindus feel like you have to be born into Hinduism. That being said, “converts” are welcome, but there’s no formal conversion process. I bring this up because JD Vance’s wife Usha is Hindu. She grew up in a Hindu family, she was born into Hinduism. Usha apparently encouraged her husband to convert to Catholicism as an adult, although Usha did not join him or join the Church. Well, last week, JD attended a Turning Point USA event at Ole Miss, and he was asked about multifaith marriages/relationships. He claimed that when he and Usha met, they were both agnostics or atheists, but now that he’s Catholic, he hopes that “eventually” Usha is “somehow moved by the same thing that I was moved in by church? Yeah, I honestly, I do wish that, because I believe in the Christian gospel, and I hope eventually my wife comes to see it the same way.” Yeah… not great. Offensive, even.

Anyway, my guess is that Ole Couchbanger has seen his polling numbers on many subjects, including his wife, his marriage and his three half-Indian children. If Vance wants to run for president in 2028 – if there even is an election at this point – then he definitely wants to ensure the white-supremacist voter bloc. Meaning… JD Vance is possibly in the market for a new wife, one with impeccable white Christian nationalist credentials. Enter Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk. Erika attended the same Turning Point event at Ole Miss, and she spoke about how JD reminded her so much of her late husband. Then she ran her fingers through JD Vance’s hair as they passionately embraced on stage.

Vice President JD Vance was the guest of honor at a Turning Point USA event at the University of Mississippi on Wednesday, Oct. 29. But it was a moment during his introduction that has since gone viral.

Erika Kirk, the widow of right-wing political organizer Charlie Kirk, has taken her husband’s place as Turning Point CEO following his assassination during a TPUSA event on Sept. 10. She opened Wednesday’s event with an emotional speech, noting that the day marked seven weeks since her husband was killed.

“When our team asked my dear friend, Vice President JD Vance, to speak today, I really prayed on it, because obviously it’s a very emotional, emotional day,” Erika, 36, shared. “But I could just hear Charlie in my heart. I could just hear him say, ‘Go reclaim that territory, babe. Go. The battle’s already won. God’s love conquers.’ ”

Despite her tearful words, the budding social media conversation after the event stemmed from her dynamic with Vance, 41.

“No one will ever replace my husband,” she told the crowd. “But I do see some similarities of my husband in JD— in Vice President JD Vance. I do. And that’s why I am so blessed to be able to introduce him tonight.”

As Vance took the stage, he and Erika embraced in an intimate manner. The vice president rested his hands on Erika’s hips, and she seemed to thread her fingers through his hair, leaving it slightly mussed.

[From People]

I’ve looked at the photos and the videos… the photos make it seem more intimate, like Vance and Erika Kirk lingered in that position, or that she was running her fingers through his hair for some time. The video shows that while it was definitely inappropriate, there really wasn’t a linger. Still, it feels like… um, Usha is on the way out? Well, it really looks like Erika wants this to happen, let me say that. Do you guys think Erika wore leather pants to remind JD of his favorite couch? Usha would never.

Never in my 47 years has a side piece been so bold. https://t.co/vEwQaD4tK7

Kirk Frost Pens Message To Son & Defends Rasheeda’s Support

by jummy84 October 13, 2025
written by jummy84

Kirk Frost hopped online to drop a sweet message for his son Kannon Frost, letting him know that nothing could stop him from being a solid dad to him. While he was at it, he clapped back at trolls who keep dragging his wife, Rasheeda, for standing by him and pushing him to stay active in Kannon’s life. The internet, of course, had plenty to say, some applauded Kirk, but others still think he seems to find new ways to embarrass Rasheeda.

Kirk Frost Pours His Heart Out To Kannon & Claps Back At Trolls Coming For Rasheeda

The ‘Love & Hip Hop ATL’ star recently dropped a heartfelt message on Instagram for his youngest son, Kannon, who he shares with Jasmine Bleu. Kirk Frost told his little man that haters might be praying on his downfall, but he’s never going to stop being a good dad to him.

“Im sorry @kannonxfrost most women want me to be a dead beat to you. Also not be a father, not pay child support just not be in your life at all but sorry I don’t know how to do that,” Kirk wrote.

Kirk kept it real, admitting his mini-me came into the world while his marriage with Rasheeda hit a rough patch, but he still gave her flowers for pushing him to stay in Kannon’s life. Even though the message came from the heart, folks online still noticed he threw a lil’ jab at trolls who keep coming at Rasheeda for sticking beside him.

“You came at a time when me and my wife was going through a bad season but we’re making it thru. I know… @rasheeda gets crucified for loving you & making sure I remain a good father. Which I think is crazy, but since you asking questions, we just want to make sure you know that we love you. 🙏🏽🫶🏽,” Kirk continued.

Social Media Has Mixed Feelings About Kirk’s Heartfelt Post

The Shade Room’s comment section exploded with reactions to Kirk Frost’s letter to Kannon. Some folks gave him props for showing up as a dad, while others thought he should’ve kept the message private.

Instagram user @itsani.j wrote, “Kids are innocent and they deserve love and support no matter how they came to be ❤️”

Instagram user @lifewithden wrote, “Be a father. Leave the internet out of it!”

While Instagram user @key2happiness wrote, “Don’t twist the narrative. Your wife gets crucified for being your door mat. Not for being a mother to your outside child. Cut it out.”

Then Instagram user @thebrownmamimelts wrote, “Make using a Journal or a Diary normal again…. Something’s don’t belong online.”

Another Instagram user @amarilevy wrote, “Rasheeda gets crucified for giving you too many passes Kirk, not for loving the child.”

While another Instagram user @jai_amaru_5 wrote, “Big dawg, keep us out the family chat.”

Then another Instagram user @datlucky1 wrote, “You wrote THIS message to a KID ? Really.”

Finally, Instagram user @v._aya wrote, “Tell him not the internet. ✌🏾”

Kirk Shares Sweet Rare Video Of Rasheeda & Kannon

Even with the internet’s reactions to Kirk’s message to Kannon, he’s been open about his love for his son before. Back in August, he gave fans a peek at Rasheeda and Kannon’s relationship in a sweet video. In the clip, Kannon appears to be much younger as he sings, ‘Twinkle Twinkle Little Star’ with Rasheeda. In the caption, Kirk gave Rasheeda props for being a good woman despite everything that occurred in the past.

“It’s moments like this, that you don’t see, that make me appreciate the woman that you are to me in real life @rasheeda. I Love you,” the reality star wrote.

Candace Owens Claims “Federal Government Is Lying” While Sharing Her Belief That Tyler Robinson Did Not Kill Charlie Kirk

On Friday, September 26, Owens took to her Instagram Story to share a few messages with her more than 6.3 million followers. Furthermore, in an initial message, Owens wrote, “I want to break this news immediately  because it feels important and I think if I don’t break it immediately, something bad might happen.”

From there, Owens stated that she had “verified information.” However, she cannot reveal her source.

“Tyler Robinson is not suicidal. The entire narrative that was placed in the media about him having been suicidal is completely fictional, as are many other aspects of what we have been told… His father having “turned him in after a confession” is also complete fiction. To the contrary, Tyler Robinson maintains his innocence and has never even been to the UVU campus,” she wrote.

Furthermore, Owens asserted that there are “absolutely zero photos or video” from the campus that can show Robinson was ever there.

“Which is why they have produced nothing other than a blurry image which Tyler’s family knows is not him,” she continued. “…The federal government is lying about absolutely everything except for the fact that it is her gun…”

Before Candace Owens Said The “Federal Government Is Lying,” Here’s What Was Going On With Tyler Robinson & The Charlie Kirk Murder

Candace Owens shared her thoughts on the federal government and Tyler Robinson almost a week after Charlie Kirk’s memorial service. As The Shade Room previously reported, Kirk was fatally shot while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10. Afterward, the FBI released stills and offered a $100,000 reward for the suspected shooter, per The Shade Room. Ultimately, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson was taken into custody, and his mugshot was released to the public.

Since then, Charlie Kirk’s wife broke her silence with an emotional tribute video, per The Shade Room.

Since then, prosecutors have shared their intent to have the death penalty initiated against Robinson. This, if he is convicted of capital murder. Most recently, Kirk was laid to rest. At his memorial service, Erika Kirk spoke again alongside Donald Trump.

Check out footage of her speech below.

Jason Aldean, Wife Brittany Pay Tribute to Charlie Kirk: Watch

by jummy84 September 24, 2025

The couple performed “Drink a Beer” in a video they shared on social media

Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany performed a cover of Luke Bryan in tribute to conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was fatally shot during a public event at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10.

Captioning the short video clip with a heart emoji and “For Charlie,” the Aldeans are seen singing Bryan’s wistful “Drink a Beer” accompanied by Jason Aldean performing the song on acoustic guitar.

“Funny how the good ones go/Too soon, but the good Lord knows/The reasons why I guess,” Aldean sings the opening lines with his wife joining in for harmonies in the clip. The pair, who look to be at home in the black-and-white clip, also take turns on some lines on a verse. Written by Brett Beavers and Chris Stapleton, the Bryan-fronted track was a hit back in 2014, when it topped Billboard’s Country Airplay chart for two weeks.

Trending Stories

The video also includes a photo of the Aldeans at Kirk’s memorial service on Sept. 21 in Glendale, Arizona, which featured speakers including President Donald Trump. It’s not the first tribute Jason Aldean has paid to Kirk. At his show in Detroit the day after his late friend was killed, he honored Kirk with a two-minute speech, where he called Kirk “an amazing person” and “one of the best people ever,” as The Detroit Free Press reported.

The Aldeans’ song remembrance is among many that have come in the wake of the far-right influencer’s death, and the tribute songs are racking up huge numbers on the charts. Kirk was the co-founder of Turning Point USA, which was formed to foster a culture of conservatism on school campuses around the nation.

Jessica Chastain Series ‘The Savant’ Delayed After Charlie Kirk Death

by jummy84 September 24, 2025
written by jummy84

The anxiety around the political and cultural reaction to the killing of Charlie Kirk is so high that we could see more media companies on edge about how audiences react to their content. “The Savant,” a limited series starring Jessica Chastain originally set to premiere this Friday on Apple TV+, will be postponed, a rep for Apple TV+ told IndieWire.

While no specific reason was given, nor was any new release date announced, it’s believed that current events contributed to the delay.

“After careful consideration, we have made the decision to postpone ‘The Savant.’ We appreciate your understanding and look forward to releasing the series at a future date,” Apple TV+ said in a statement.

Protestors outside 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' following ABC's indefinite suspension of the program at Hollywood Blvd on September 18, 2025 in Los Angeles, California.

“The Savant” stars Chastain as a woman who infiltrates online extremist groups in an attempt to discover mass shootings and extremist acts of terrorism before they happen. The series was created by Melissa James Gibson and was inspired by a 2019 article in Cosmopolitan, “Is It Possible to Stop a Mass Shooting Before It Happens?”

The first trailer for the series, which you can watch below, shows her engaging online with extremists, attempting to think like them and expose their actions before reporting them to the authorities. It shows a series of “snipers, bombings, ambushes” — with Chastain specifically trying to bring down someone who wants to make an imprint on history with the type of event people refer to “with a month and a date.” It’s also a show that grapples with Chastain’s moral dilemma of wondering if it’s right to be engaging with such people, even if it’s in the name of a greater good.

“The Savant” would not be the first time a show or an episode was delayed in order to provide some breathing room from real-life tragedies. But the fervor over “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” being pre-empted last week (it comes back on air tonight) is likely just the first example of media companies in this very moment looking closely at what’s being said and represented on their screens as showrunners reach for the headlines with politically relevant commentary and entertainment.

What He Said About Charlie Kirk After Return – Hollywood Life

by jummy84 September 24, 2025
written by jummy84

Jimmy Kimmel Live! came back on the air less than a week after his highly publicized ABC suspension. Following six days of tumultuous headlines and debate over the concept of freedom of speech, Jimmy Kimmel returned to the stage and was greeted with a standing ovation by his audience in Los Angeles; also in the crowd were his parents, an attendee revealed. But it was Kimmel’s monologue that the entire country was waiting for.

In case you weren’t able to tune into Jimmy Kimmel Live! yet, we have a breakdown of his monologue below.

How to Watch Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Most cable users can watch Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC. However, stations run by Nexstar Media Group or Sinclair Broadcast Group did not air Kimmel’s September 23 episode.

How to Stream Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Fans can stream Kimmel’s return episode on either Hulu or Disney+ after it’s released.

Jimmy Kimmel’s Monologue: What Did He Say About Charlie Kirk?

Kimmel got right to the point in his monologue by clarifying that his “MAGA gang” quip was not an intended joke about Charlie Kirk‘s murder.

“It was never my intention to make light of the murder of a young man,” Kimmel said as his voice broke with emotion. “I don’t think there’s anything funny about it. … [It wasn’t] my intention to blame any specific group for the actions what — it was obviously a deeply disturbed individual,” he added, referring to Kirk’s suspected shooter, Tyler Robinson.

“That was really the opposite of the point I was trying to make, but I understand that, to some, it felt either ill-timed or unclear, or maybe both,” the comedian noted. “And for those who think I did point a finger, I get why you’re upset. If the situation was reversed, there’s a good chance I’d have felt the same way.”

Kimmel made sure to praise Kirk’s widowed wife, Erika Kirk, for forgiving her late husband’s killer.

“She forgave him. That is an example we should follow,” Kimmel continued. “If you believe in the teachings of Jesus, as I do, there it was. That, that’s it. A selfless act of grace. Forgiveness from a grieving widow. It touched me deeply, and I hope it touches many. And if there’s anything we should take from this tragedy to carry forward, I hope it can be that.”

Kimmel then discussed Donald Trump‘s calls for him and several of his fellow late-night TV hosts — including Seth Meyers and Jimmy Fallon — to be ousted from the airwaves.

“The president of the United States made it very clear he wants to see me and the hundreds of people who work here fired from our jobs,” Kimmel pointed out. “Our leader celebrates Americans losing their livelihoods because he can’t take a joke. He was able to squeeze [Stephen] Colbert out of CBS, then he turned his sights on me, and now, he’s openly rooting for NBC to fire Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers, and the hundreds of Americans who work for their shows who don’t make millions of dollars. And I hope that if that happens, or if there’s even any hint of that happening, you will be 10 times as loud as you were this week.”

Regarding Disney’s decision to yank him off the air, Kimmel admitted he “did not agree with that decision, and I told them that, and we had many conversations.”

“I shared my point of view; they shared theirs,” he explained. “We talked it through, and at the end, even though they didn’t have to, they really didn’t have to — this is a giant company. We have short attention spans, and I am a tiny part of the Disney Corporation. They welcomed me back on the air, and I thank them for that.”

Finally, one of Kimmel’s biggest talking points was the concept of the freedom of speech. Pointing out that he’s talked to comedians from other countries, including Russia, Kimmel said, “Our freedom to speak is what they admire most about this country, and that’s something I’m embarrassed to say I took for granted until they pulled my friend Stephen off the air and tried to coerce the affiliates who run our show in the cities that you live in to take my show off the air. That’s not legal.”

Jimmy Kimmel Writers React to ABC Show Return After Charlie Kirk Joke

by jummy84 September 24, 2025
written by jummy84

After ABC suspended Jimmy Kimmel Live! last week following the host’s remarks about the murder of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, even those who have been part of Kimmel’s inner circle were unsure that the show would ever return.

“I’m truly shocked,” Ned Rice, a former writer for the late night program, tells The Hollywood Reporter about its planned return to the air Tuesday. “I would have bet a lot of money that this was over. After saying you’re suspended, I didn’t think everybody could make nice and [decide,] ‘Let’s try again.’”

Kimmel, a frequent target of President Donald Trump‘s ire for his quips lambasting the administration, commented during his Sept. 15 episode that MAGA Republicans were focused on distancing themselves from Kirk’s alleged murderer, Tyler Robinson. After FCC chairman Brendan Carr fanned the flames of dissension during an appearance on Benny Johnson’s podcast — leading TV affiliate conglomerates Nexstar Media Group and Sinclair Broadcast Group to threaten to pull the show in their markets — ABC announced Wednesday that Jimmy Kimmel Live! would be suspended indefinitely.

The show’s Tuesday return was presaged by a firestorm of pushback, ranging from protests at the Disney studio lot to viral social media posts from Hollywood figures encouraging others to cancel their subscriptions to such Disney-backed streaming services as Disney+ and Hulu. Even former Disney CEO Michael Eisner voiced concern over the suspension.

Stephen Colbert (left) and Jimmy Kimmel address the crowd at the 2019 Emmys.

Amy Sussman/WireImage

Among those protesting at Disney was Joe Strazzullo, a Kimmel writer for six years before his exit in 2021. “As a WGA member, I know the importance of solidarity,” Strazzullo tells THR about why he was compelled to make his voice heard. “We’re used to fighting back against bullies. Bullies are the reason many of us became comedy writers. I’m thrilled my friends at Jimmy Kimmel Live! are headed back to work.”

Although Kimmel’s supporters have heralded the return as a victory for freedom of expression, the fact remains that broadcast late night programs are perceived as increasingly less financially viable amid dwindling ratings. Over the summer, CBS’ Late Show With Stephen Colbert was the first of the current core group of late night shows to get canceled, which spurred speculation about the axing being politically motivated ahead of the recently completed merger between Paramount and Skydance Media.

Rice has plenty of experience with the late night landscape, having written for numerous titles, including Bill Maher’s Real Time and Politically Incorrect, Jay Leno’s Tonight Show and Craig Ferguson’s Late Late Show. “People just don’t watch those shows anymore,” admits Rice, who last wrote for Kimmel in 2009. “So I thought this was a convenient way of ABC unloading Jimmy. It killed two birds, you might say. [Tuesday’s] show is going to be pretty hot. That will be a real television moment, for sure.”

Of course, not everyone who might want to watch Kimmel’s return will get a chance to see it, as Nexstar and Sinclair will not air the show, making it dark on roughly a quarter of ABC stations. Assesses one former Kimmel writer, who asked to remain anonymous: “The Tonight Show premiered 71 years ago. [Since then,] late night has told jokes about 13 presidents, and only one has tried to take down all of late night.” The scribe adds about Sinclair’s politically conservative leanings, “People can just google Sinclair and see what they’re about.”

As for Kimmel’s future, his ABC contract expires in May, and he has previously hinted at looming retirement. For now, Rice expects the host to deliver the same barbs that he always has — “It would be crazy to try to change now” — but still worries about a cultural landscape losing its ability to poke at those with power.

“Americans love topical humor,” he says about late night TV. “We love to hear jokes about the president, about celebrities and so on. Something will have to replace it.”

Stephen A. Smith Criticizes Jimmy Kimmel Over Charlie Kirk Joke

Stephen A. Smith Criticizes Jimmy Kimmel Over Charlie Kirk Joke

by jummy84 September 22, 2025
written by jummy84

Stephen A. Smith had smoke for Jimmy Kimmel on Thursday’s (Sept. 18) episode of his SiriusXM show Straight Shooter. The ESPN commentator weighed in on Kimmel’s recent remarks about conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s assassination, and he wasn’t impressed.

“The only thing that I would say as it pertains to Jimmy Kimmel is, where was the joke?” Smith said with a straight face. “Because you’re a late night host, and obviously that has a comedic attachment to it. Where was the joke? Obviously, it wasn’t anything funny about that.”

Kimmel, who usually mixes political jabs into his monologues, addressed Kirk’s Sept. 10 killing during Monday’s (Sept. 15) episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!. The activist was fatally shot while speaking with students at Utah Valley University. Authorities later arrested 22-year-old Tyler Robinson in connection to the shooting.

On air, Kimmel suggested that Trump supporters were trying to twist the tragedy for political gain. “We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” he said.

In consequence, ABC announced Wednesday (Sept. 17) that it would indefinitely suspend Jimmy Kimmel Live! following the backlash, and Nexstar confirmed it would be pulling the show from its ABC affiliates. Kimmel himself has yet to publicly comment on his suspension.

Smith, who actually guest-hosted Kimmel’s show in 2021, took a stern approach reminding media figures that words can carry weight. “In the times we’re living in, you have to be very, very careful about what you say when you open your mouth,” he warned. “And you can’t associate a political group of people with a murderer.”

He also called out former President Donald Trump, who celebrated Kimmel’s suspension on Truth Social. “That goes for both sides,” Smith stressed. “President Trump shouldn’t be coming out of his mouth talking about how … ‘this was instigated and stirred on by the Left.’”

Take a look below at Straight Shooter, where Stephen A. Smith goes off about Jimmy Kimmel’s remarks.

ABC Affiliates Air Celebrity Family Feud Re-Run Instead of Charlie Kirk Tribute

by jummy84 September 22, 2025
written by jummy84

Sinclair Broadcast Group reversed its decision to air a Charlie Kirk tribute on its affiliate channels during the time slot typically reserved for Jimmy Kimmel Live! Earlier in the week, the broadcaster pulled Kimmel’s late-night show following his comments about Kirk’s assassination and announced plans to run the tribute instead at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT on Friday.

But shortly before airtime, Sinclair issued a statement on social media saying the tribute would be made available on YouTube rather than on television. In its place, its affiliates aired ABC network programming — a re-run of Celebrity Family Feud. No explanation was given for the abrupt programming change.
