The Ba***ds of Bollywood trailer: The trailer for Aryan Khan’s debut Netflix web series The Ba***ds of Bollywood is out now after releasing the preview last month. The trailer hints that the seven-episode series is filled with sharp one-liners and larger-than-life moments. Produced by Gauri Khan via Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt. Ltd, the series will feature cameos by Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and others.

The series follows Aasmaan Singh (Lakshya), an ambitious newcomer with big dreams. With his loyal best friend Parvaiz (Raghav Juyal), sharp-tongued manager Sanya (Anya Singh), and his supportive family by his side — his uncle Avtar (Manoj Pahwa), mother Neeta Singh (Mona Singh), and father Rajat Singh (Vijayant Kohli) — Aasmaan steps into Bollywood.

He soon finds out that dreams come at a price, especially when ambition and ego collide. Aasmaan finds himself up against his biggest challenge yet, superstar Ajay Talvar (Bobby Deol), when he is cast opposite his daughter, Bollywood newcomer Karishma (Sahher Bambba). Throw the shrewd producer Freddy Sodawallah (Manish Chaudhari) into the mix, along with Jaraj Saxena (Rajat Bedi), a yesteryear actor desperate for a comeback, and what follows is a sharp, self-aware saga, set against the irresistible spectacle of Hindi cinema.

The trailer also teases a reunion between Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. In one scene, Aamir discusses a scene with Rajamouli. Later, he dismisses Aasmaan for choosing vada pav over idly sambar. Avtar also hilariously mistakes Shah Rukh for rapper Badshah and dismisses him, making him miffed.

About The Ba***ds of Bollywood

Cameos by Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan, SS Rajamouli, Badshah, Disha Patani, and more are also expected. The Ba***ds of Bollywood will premiere on Netflix on 18 September.

The music is in collaboration with T-Series. Shashwat Sachdev composed the album, with guest composers Anirudh Ravichander and Ujwal Gupta. The first track, Badli Si Hawa Hai, composed by Anirudh Ravichander and sung by Arijit Singh and Amira Gill, has already been released. Adding to the playlist is Tu Pehli Tu Aakhri, composed, produced, and arranged by Shashwat Sachdev with vocals from Arijit Singh.

SRK is referred to in the media as the Baadshah of Bollywood, King of Romance, and King Khan. He made his Bollywood debut with Deewana in 1992. He gained recognition for his negative roles in Baazigar and Darr. SRK then starred in numerous romantic movies that were box office hits, thus earning the title of ‘King of Romance.’

Shah Rukh Khan and Rakesh Roshan collaborated for the first time in King Uncle, which featured Jackie Shroff, Shah Rukh, Anu Aggarwal, Nagma, Paresh Rawal, Sushmita Mukherjee, Pooja Ruparel, and Deven Verma in crucial roles. But did you know that Roshan wanted to cast Salman Khan in the role of Jackie’s younger brother in the movie and not SRK? Rakesh’s friend and producer, Vivek Vaswani, shared the interesting story in an interview with Film Companion.

How Shah Rukh Khan Convinced Rakesh Roshan To Cast Him In King Uncle

According to Vaswani, SRK got cast in King Uncle and signed a three-film deal with Rakesh Roshan’s company Filmkraft despite not appearing in even one film until then. Vivek revealed that he suggested Shah Rukh Khan‘s name to Rakesh. When the Pathaan star met Roshan, the latter asked him why he should cast him.

Vivek recalled, “He explained how Rakesh had already sold King Uncle. So casting Salman and paying him more money was not going to raise the price of the film, and casting Shah Rukh at lower money was not going to reduce the price of the film.” For the record, Vaswani imbued knowledge about the film industry in SRK and wrapped it with his charm to captivate the filmmaker.

Vaswani added, “Rakesh ji’s mouth was open because this man is talking like a professional of the industry, like a veteran, and he is one, as far as he is concerned, one newcomer from TV.” As Salman Khan was already a star in the industry, SRK’s logic struck a chord with Roshan, and eventually, he got the part.

What Next For Shah Rukh Khan?

2023 turned out to be a busy year for SRK as he appeared in three back-to-back films, including Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. He also had a cameo role in Tiger 3. The actor is now gearing up for his next big release, titled King, one of the most-anticipated Bollywood films. The movie is scheduled to be released in 2026.

Although I feel very lucky to receive your love and affection, but touring so much is neither good for me nor for health.’

Zakir further said, ‘Trying to satisfy everyone you meet, 2-3 shows a day, sleepless nights, early morning flights and yes, no time-table for food. I have been ill for a year, but I had to work because it was necessary at that time.’ Zakir admitted that he likes performing live, but now his health will have to be given priority over his busy tour schedule.

He further said, ‘I like being on stage, but now I have to take a break. I mean I don’t feel like it. Actually, I was postponing it for a year, but now it seems that I should take care of it before things get out of hand. So this time I will tour limited cities in India. I will not be able to do many shows and after making this special record, I have been advised to take a long break.’

This clip has set off speculation that the three actors might be appearing together in Aryan Khan’s much-anticipated debut series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood. The show already boasts a star-studded cast including Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Raghav Juyal, and rumoured cameos by Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Aamir Khan, and Salman Khan.

Even more big names are expected to be part of the series, such as Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Kriti Sanon, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Shilpa Shetty, Karisma Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, SS Rajamouli, and many others. The scale of the project has made fans even more excited.

Aamir Khan has previously said that all three Khans are open to working together, but only if they find the right script. So far, that hasn’t happened until possibly now.

The three Khans of Bollywood – Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are widely loved for their charming camaraderie and blockbuster movies the trio has brought to life for many decades now.  It has been a long-held wish of many fans to see the ‘three Khans’ of Bollywood together on the silver screen. It seems like that might just come true.  

A recent clip that went viral on the internet features three vanity fans with the names of the three Khans written on each. The man recording the video can be heard saying “… teeno saath me. Konsa movie hai bhai? (All three together. Which movie is it, brother?).”

Many have speculated that this iconic collaboration could be for Aryan Khan’s much anticipated upcoming series The Ba***ds of Bollywood. The star-studded cast in this series includes Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Raghav Juyal among others along with the cameo of Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan fuelling the speculation.

Aamir Khan has often expressed that the idea of the trio coming together for a project has been on their minds, but the three superstars will be onboard for a joint project provided they receive the right script.  

While SRK and Salman have worked together in Karan Arjun and had special appearances in each other’s multiple films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega, Om Shanti Om, Tubelight, Zero, Pathaan and Tiger 3, Aamir has never shared a screen space with both simultaneously. So, the rumours that this viral clip has sparked are true, this collaboration happens, this would be a first!

The makers of Bigg Boss 19 have released a new promo for this weekend’s episode, showing host Salman Khan confronting contestants about their passive gameplay. In a tense moment, Salman targets singer Amaal Mallik, directly questioning his lack of involvement in the house.

​In the teaser clip, Salman asks Amaal, “Are you here to just sleep? You came here to tell the world who the real Amaal Mallik is, right? You have done that?” Amaal nervously shakes his head in denial.

​Salman continues, “What are you waiting for? The image that you had outside, it’s getting worse here. There were a lot of expectations that Amaal would cause a storm inside the house. Basically, a front-foot player has turned into a background artist.”

​So far, Amaal has been seen ganging up with other contestants and giving his opinions on how the game should be played. He and fellow contestant Zeishaan Quadri are often seen discussing strategy.

 

​Hosted by Salman Khan, this season, themed Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar (The Housemates’ Government), gives contestants more decision-making power than the show’s own authority, Bigg Boss.

​The show features 16 contestants, including Gaurav Khanna, Ashnoor Kaur, Nehal Chudasama, Baseer Ali, Zeishaan Quadri, Neelam Giri, Tanya Mittal, Awez Darbar, Nagma Mirajkar, Kunickaa Sadanand, and Farhana Bhatt. It streams daily at 9 PM on JioCinema and airs at 10:30 PM on Colors TV.

Actor Saira Banu, Karisma Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Isha Koppikar, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and filmmaker Rohit Shetty on Friday visited Maharashtra minister Ashish Shelar’s residence for Ganpati darshan. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Ashish shared a bunch of photos of the celebrities as they offered prayers.

In a few photos, Saira, dressed in a red and white suit, was seen offering flowers to Ganpati. She also smiled and posed for pictures with Ashish. Karisma Kapoor, wearing a maroon suit, also sought blessings as she offered flowers to the deity. She also shared a chat with Ashish before posing for pictures.

Fardeen Khan prayed with folded hands as he bowed his head during prayers. He was seen in a blue shirt and black denims. Rohit Shetty smiled as he sought blessings. He opted for a dark blue shirt and pants for the visit. Isha Koppikar wore a cream saree as she visited Ashish’s home for Ganpati darshan. Sachin Tendulkar was spotted in a printed maroon shirt and black pants.

About Ganesh Chaturthi festival

The 10-day Ganeshotsav celebrations began on August 27, Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayak Chaturthi or Vinayak Chavithi. This festival marks the worship of Lord Ganesha as the god of new beginnings and theremover of obstacles.

The festival culminates on Anantha Chaturdashi and is celebrated with decorated homes and pandals, prayers, music, and vibrant processions. This year’s festivities will conclude on Saturday with the Ganesh Visarjan ceremony, in which idols are immersed in water to mark the end of the grand celebration.

Fardeen, Karisma’s films

Fardeen was last seen in Housefull 5, which also stars Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Shreyas Talpade, Jackie Shroff, Sonam Bajwa, and Nargis Fakhri. The film, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, was released earlier this year.

Karisma will headline the Brown series, which also stars Helen and Soni Razdan. She will also appear in Netflix’s Dining With The Kapoors.

In the iconic ‘Tujhe Dekha Toh Yeh Jaana’ sequence with the superstar’s signature pose, while standing in the Sarson Ka Khet or the train scene in the climax, every die-hard Bollywood romantics gulped every scene and emotion of the movie as passionately as possible. But did you know that Shah Rukh Khan rejected the movie 4 times? Yes, you heard that right.

We almost missed out on the superstar playing the cult character. Reason? Shah Rukh Khan thought he was too ‘old’ to play the role of Raj in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Imagine the King Of Romance wanting to turn down a role like Raj, sounds a bummer, right? But it ended up happening almost 4 times.

According to a news report in ScoopWhoop, SRK, in a documentary had said, “I never wanted to do a romantic role. Because by the time I joined films I was 26. Normally, romantic films meant that you started off from a college and then you work your way up into romance and then run away with a girl, or committed suicide with a girl. I thought I was too old to be a romantic hero.”

The actor further said he was keen to take up negative roles like Darr and Baazigar, which he felt gave him more prominence. After repeatedly rejecting Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, director-producer Aditya Chopra offered the role to Saif Ali Khan. But as they say, destiny always finds its way to the things meant for you. Yash Chopra persuaded his son to convince Shah Rukh Khan.

Yash Chopra himself decided to meet Shah Rukh Khan and said, “You must take up romantic roles on the big screens if you want to survive in the industry.” The actor could not refuse the legendary producer and nodded to the movie. And the rest, they say, is history. The movie became one of the most successful films in Indian cinema and the longest-running movie in the country. Most importantly, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge redefined SRK as a milestone actor in romance and charm.
