Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are in the United Kingdom, inaugurating a DDLJ-inspired statue. The event, happening in Leicester, saw huge crowds, waiting for the actors. The two interacted with the fans and media, while unveiling the statue in front of the crowd.

The statue is a bronze artwork, showcasing Shah Rukh and Kajol’s iconic pose from the movie. The two also recreated the pose, as they greeted the fans who eagerly waited for them.

SRK was seen in an all-black ensemble while Kajol posed wearing a sky-blue saree with a full sleeved blouse.

Interestingly, the two also reunited during the 70th Hyundai Filmfare Awards 2025 With Gujarat Tourism. They danced to their popular songs and entertained the audience.

Aamir Khan recently remembered late actor Dharmendra and called him underrated, despite his mastery over different genres. Speaking at the International Film Festival of India, the actor said, “Well, I’ve grown up watching him. He was known as the action hero and the He-man. And of course, he was extremely good in portraying these strong characters in action films. But I don’t know whether people have really noticed, I think he’s underrated.”

 

Khan continued, “His performances in romance or different genres are so great. He’s done so well in comedy. My God, he’s done amazing comedy, romance, and dramas. According to me, Dharamji was right up there… And what a handsome person.”

The actor also expressed his regret over not being able to attend Dharmendra’s prayer meet which took place on November 27.

For the uninitiated, Aamir Khan never shared the screen with Dharmendra, but he appeared as a child actor in the film Yaadon Ki Baarat, which starred Dharmendra, Vijay Arora, Tariq Khan and Zeenat Aman among others. Khan also produced Sunny Deol’s yet-unreleased film Lahore 1947. The actor revealed that they had the chance to show Dharmendra the film.

The Lagaan actor further called Dharmendra a great actor and a gentle giant and continued, “Dharamji was not only a fine actor, but he was a great human being. He was so gentle. He was like a gentle giant, and he was very loving no matter who he would meet… He was a great actor, and it’s a great loss for all of us. He’s really an institution. He had such a command over his language. Unki zubaan itni saaf thi… It was so soft that it was amazing to hear him, even in live events when he would speak… I remember, I was there at the book launch for Yusuf Saab , and there he spoke. He spoke with such dignity. Really, it’s a big loss for all of us. I’m fortunate I got to spend some time with him.”

The legendary actor Dharmendra passed away at the age of 89.

The acquisition includes two adjoining office units, 901 and 902, located in the A Wing of Kanakia Wallstreet.

These units offer a combined carpet area of 5,682 sq. ft. and a saleable area of 9,659 sq. ft., along with six parking spaces. It is believed that the property is intended for either personal use or investment. The seller is Apiore Pharmaceutical, a US-based pharmaceutical company. Situated in Andheri East, Kanakia Wallstreet has become a preferred destination for corporates, creative agencies, and international firms. The complex is known for its modern design, high-end features, and houses notable clients such as Nuvama, Mannapuram Finance, Coca-Cola, Trade Bulls, ICICI Lombard, and others.

Mahira Khan, one of Pakistan’s most celebrated stars, has always been admired for her grace and screen presence. She is best known in India for marking her Bollywood debut in 2017 with the Shah Rukh Khan starrer film Raees. However, behind the success was a phase she rarely spoke about, until she finally opened up about her emotional turmoil that happened when Pakistani actors were banned from working in India following the 2016 URI attack. In a candid conversation, she revisited the time she battled severe anxiety and depression as political tensions escalated and backlash intensified. Here’s a look back at her honest and powerful revelation.

Mahira Khan On Battling Depression

In an interview with FWhy podcast, Mahira revealed she was diagnosed with manic depression after Raees was released and also spoke about smoking pictures with Ranbir Kapoor that went viral. She shared, “I had finished the film (Raees), and everything was going fine, and then suddenly this attack (URI attack) happens. Politically, everything gets messed. With India, it is always political. But the fact that it could get this messy!”

She added, “I was not scared, but I was threatened. Constant tweets — in fact, I would get calls, and very scary ones. The only thing I wanted was that ‘Okay, fine, I can’t go to India to promote it (Raees), but I hope it releases in my country because I knew people would rush to watch it, as he (SRK) is loved here (Pakistan).”

Mahira Khan On Getting Backlash After Raees Released

Mahira further added, “That (backlash) brought out the anxiety and depression hidden inside me. That was a hard time for me. I felt attacked. I guess I had built it up, and then it came crashing down. The constant backlash. You are getting mean tweets, comments on their channels (Indian channels). That was a time when my faith broke a little, and I developed severe anxiety to the point that one day I had a panic attack and fainted.”

“That’s the first time I went for therapy. But that didn’t work out, as I went to several therapists. I was very lucky, though, because I had my family and friends supporting me, but still it isn’t external; it’s how you’re feeling inside. So, that year was rough, and it was the same year Raees released and the same year that whole picture thing happened. It broke me, and I couldn’t sleep; my hands used to shake,” she continued.

Mahira Khan Confessed Being Under Medication

Mahira Khan also admitted that she has been under medication for around 6-7 years. The actress said, “I ended up in a psychiatrist’s office, and she said, ‘We will talk about everything later on, but I need you to know that you have manic depression.’ This is the first time I am saying that; I don’t know if I should. It’s been six-seven years, I’ve been on anti-depressants. I’ve tried leaving them in the middle, and I went into a very dark space.”

She continued, “Last year, I was in bed. I remember very well that I couldn’t even get up from my bed to go to the bathroom. I remember praying, ‘I promise you, Allah, if you show me even this much hope or light, I will take it, and I will run with it.’ And when he did, and when I went back on my medicines, I woke up feeling like, ‘Oh my God, I feel like I can smile, feel lighter.’ Clinical depression is real, just like any other physical illness or mental illness. We should treat it like that.”

We tend to measure all things according to rupees earned. I always picked my characters thinking ‘ Do I vibe with this guys views on life?’ The gender dynamics and having a healthy dynamic between both partners has always been important. The audience back then who enjoyed those films and continue to re-watch them today, they enjoy the dynamic between the leads, where even in a romantic equation, there’s a witty remark- one upmanship, a clever repartee.”

Speaking about his comeback film Imran recently told us, “The movie is just like what the team of Break Ke Baad would be doing 15 years later in life. It’s a natural progression. Danish and I now have collective life experience. He’s been married, I’ve been through a divorce. It’s just the film we should make 15 years later. This is very much a personal project that came from the creative urge of wanting to tell a story and working with dear friends.”

Singer Pratibha Singh also shared a video showing Deepika and Ranveer vibing to AR Rahman’s song Enna Sona from Ok Jaanu.

She also has Atlee’s AA22×A6, starring Allu Arjun in the lead. The film will feature Deepika in an action-packed role.

Aamir Khan was last seen in Sitaare Zameen Par. He is now awaiting the release of his next production, Mere Raho. After a shocking mid-week eviction twist, fans are now waiting to see who will be eliminated from the race to the trophy this Weekend Ka Vaar, and who Salman Khan will bash this time. However, Salman will not be hosting this Weekend Ka Vaar. Another star is stepping in to replace him: Bollywood filmmaker and Khatron Ke Khiladi host Rohit Shetty.

On Friday, JioHotstar announced that Rohit Shetty will be replacing Salman Khan as host this Weekend Ka Vaar. Sharing a poster of the filmmaker, the OTT platform wrote, “Iss Weekend Ka Vaar, Rohit Shetty layenge action aur drama ka blockbuster blend” (This Weekend Ka Vaar, Rohit Shetty will bring a blockbuster blend of action and drama). Before Rohit, Farah Khan once filled in for Salman, and audiences loved that Weekend Ka Vaar. It remains to be seen whether Rohit will meet fans’ expectations as host.

The reason for Salman’s absence is still unknown. However, it appears that the superstar is busy with his Da-Bangg tour in Qatar and could not be available for the Weekend Ka Vaar shoot. The actor, along with Tamannaah Bhatia, Prabhu Deva, Maniesh Paul, Sunil Grover, Jacqueline Fernandez and Stebin Ben, will be performing at the Asian Town Amphitheatre in Doha today (November 14). A video from the tour’s press conference surfaced online this morning, showing Stebin singing Oo Jaane Jana while Salman vibed along.

Bollywood star Salman Khan described the role’s demanding physical challenges, emphasising that rigorous preparation, strong discipline, and sustained endurance were crucial for delivering a powerful and convincing performance. “This film is extremely physically challenging. Each year, each month, each day it becomes more difficult. I need to invest more time in training now. Previously, I could manage in a week or two, but this project requires rigorous running, kicking, punching, and more. The Battle of Galwan necessitated that level of commitment. For example, in Sikandar, the action and character were quite different. However, this one is physically draining, especially filming in Ladakh, at high elevations and in icy waters.”
