Kareena Kapoor Khan to play a crucial role in Crew 2 ?

In 2024, Kareena Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu collaborated for the first time in the Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor-produced film, Crew. The film went on to achieve success in theatres and received positive reviews from the audience. According to reports by Pinkvilla, Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor are considering a sequel to Crew. A source shared, “Crew as a franchise has strong potential to lead itself to a franchise. The team have brainstormed several ideas and finally zeroed down on one which has the potential to seamlessly lead itself into a Crew 2.” 

 

According to the source, it is also mentioned that among the original trio, only Kareena Kapoor will be featured in the film, while the casting for the other two leading roles remains uncertain. The source added, “Kareena has already shown interest in Crew 2, and is waiting to hear the full screenplay before signing the dotted lines. Things are in the nascent stages at the moment, but the entire team is excited to take the franchise route for Crew.” 

It’s not confirmed as to whether Kriti Sanon and Tabu will reprise their roles in the Crew franchise, or if the makers will opt for a fresh cast featuring top actors. The source concluded by saying, “The idea at the moment is to make Crew 2 with 3 A-List actresses. Kareena is certain to make a comeback to the world of Crew, and the other details are under-wraps for now.”

For years now, designer Naeem Khan has been operating his atelier out of New York’s Garment District—a historic neighborhood that is slowly shrinking year by year. For his new spring lookbook, Khan wanted to pay homage to the spirit of the area, so he photographed his new assortment of formal evening attire in his own studio, among the mannequins and rolls of fabric. “The area is becoming more residential, and the whole charm of the garment industry is being taken away,” said Khan. “I wanted to celebrate it.”

While the season served as a tribute to his own Manhattan headquarters, the colors and finishes of his glamorous gowns were much more European-minded. Khan drew inspiration from the vibrant hues that he found during trips to Tuscany and Sicily this year. “The churches in Italy have all these beautiful colors,” he said. “I wanted it to be upbeat—with tons of colors and flowers.” The fusion of sugary pastels was, naturally, perfect for spring.

It’s no surprise that Khan centered on evening gowns, given that’s what his customers constantly ask for (and buy). There were frocks like a yellow strapless gown with a full skirt, embroidered with florals and three-dimensional petals. “They were all hand-stitched, one petal at a time,” said Khan. Long-sleeved column gowns, striped with rows of multicolor beads (very Studio 54), accentuated the form in flattering ways. “I drew them all on the body, and then accentuated the angles to give it more of an hourglass shape,” said the designer. Another beaded sleeveless dress featured a skirt that referenced the shape of Roman arches, another Italian touch.

Since Khan’s exquisite embroideries and embellishments often draw the focus, the designer made attempts to strip things back and offer something different, too. His breezy caftans, for one, offered a sense of simplicity—though he couldn’t resist trimming the neckline and sleeves with crystals. “I wanted a La Dolce Vita moment,” he said. For those looking for discrete, stealth-wealth staples, look elsewhere.

Salman Khan opened up about his breakups and said, “When a partner grows more than the other partner, that is when the differences start coming in; that’s when the insecurity starts setting in, so they both need to grow together. Both need to get off each other’s backs. I believe that.”

When Aamir Khan prodded him further, he said, “Yaar, nahi jama toh nahi jama (If it didn’t work, it just didn’t). If there is anyone to blame, I am the one to blame.”

Years ago, Salman Khan appeared on Rajat Sharma’s Aap Ki Adaalat and spoke about his relationships. He said, “Actually sabhi, sabhi acche the. Fault mujhme hi lie karta hai. Kyuki jab ek jaati hai toh fault unme tha. Doosri jaati hai toh fault unme hi tha. Teesri jaati hai toh faut unhi main hai. Chauthi main thoda sa doubt aata hai ke fault unme hai ya mujhme. Panchvi main bhi 60% 40% ka. Jab usse zyada jaane lagti hain toh voh confirm kar jaate hain ki fault mera hi tha (Actually, they were all good. It’s my fault. When one or two, or three people leave, you can say maybe it was their fault. When the fourth or fifth person leaves, you start to doubt that the fault was yours. When more people leave, then it is confirmed that it was your fault).”

Salman Khan Opens Up About His Struggle With Trigeminal Neuralgia: A Must-Listen | Glamsham.com

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently made a heartfelt appearance on the debut episode of Two Much, a chat show hosted by Twinkle Khanna and Kajol. Joined by fellow actor Aamir Khan, Salman candidly shared his long struggle with trigeminal neuralgia, a severe nerve disorder that causes intense facial pain.

Salman revealed that he first experienced symptoms while filming Partner (2007) with Lara Dutta. “Lara brushed a strand of hair off my face, and I felt this sharp, shocking pain. I joked, ‘Wow Lara, you’re electrifying!’ But that’s when it started,” he recalled.

He lived with the condition for over seven-and-a-half years, enduring waves of pain every 4–5 minutes. “It was so intense, I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. I had to force myself to eat through the pain. Even something as simple as an omelet could take over an hour to finish,” Salman said.

Initially, doctors believed it was a dental issue. He took 750 mg of painkillers regularly, but they barely helped. He admitted that the pain only slightly subsided after having “a drink or two.” In 2011, he finally underwent surgery to treat the condition.

Salman has since revealed that trigeminal neuralgia is just one of several serious health conditions he faces. During his June appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show, he shared, “I’m still working despite a brain aneurysm, trigeminal neuralgia, and AV (arteriovenous) malformation. My ribs are fractured, but I’m out here breaking bones every day.”

Despite his health struggles, Salman remains active in the industry and continues to inspire fans with his resilience and dedication.

This advice helped shape her careful approach to choosing roles, which is why she’s been selective throughout her career. Speaking more about SRK, Amrita added, “He used to observe that I have newcomers with me and used to take that nervous energy from us. Every time the first take was the best, there were no second takes because his temperament was like second take dena hi nahi hai (don’t ask for a second take), be so focused ki second take dena hi naa pade (ensure you don’t need to).”

Amrita reprises her role as Sandhya Tyagi in Jolly LLB 3, the latest part of the popular courtroom drama franchise. Directed by Subhash Kapoor. The film brings back Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar as rival lawyers, both named Jolly.

On Tuesday. Shah Rukh, Karan, Rani along with other Bollywood celebrities came down to Delhi to attend the 71st National Film Award ceremony. The actor was honoured with the Best Actor honour at the ceremony for his powerhouse performance in Jawan. This marks the superstar’s first-ever National Award.

Karan received the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment for his 2023 movie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Meanwhile, Rani Mukerji got her first National Award too, Best Actress for her moving role in Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway.

A picture of Shah Rukh enjoying an intimate meal with his friends KJo and Rani have emerged on social media, and is catching everyone’s attention.

The image shows Shah Rukh, Rani and Karan having a relaxed dinner, looking very much at ease. Shah Rukh is on the right, wearing black attire with glasses, seemingly deep in conversation. Next to him, Rani is looking elegant in a saree.

Karan is sitting across from them on the table. They are all sitting at a “RESERVED” table, and are surrounded by a crowd of people. The lighting has a reddish hue, and a floral centerpiece is visible on the table. The picture is giving a vibe of celebratory get-together dinner after the big win.

Big win for Bollywood

President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday conferred National Awards for acting to Shah Rukh, Vikrant Massey and Rani. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke lifetime achievement award.

Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra took home the best film prize for 12th Fail. The best director award went to Sudipto Sen for The Kerala Story. The National Awards for 2023 were announced in August this year. It’s the first National Award for Shah Rukh and Rani as well as for Vikrant.

Vaibhavi Merchant won the best choreography award for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani song Dhindhora Baaje. Shilpa Rao was named best female playback singer for Jawan track Chaleya. Sanya Malhotra-starrer Kathal: A Jackfruit Mystery was named the best Hindi film.
