Kurt Russell Joins ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff Series

by jummy84 September 5, 2025
written by jummy84

Kurt Russell is saddling up for Yellowstone spinoff series, The Madison.

The Emmy and Golden Globe nominee has joined the forthcoming series, from Taylor Sheridan and starring Michelle Pfeiffer, as both a castmember and executive producer.

Previously announced cast includes Patrick J. Adams, Elle Chapman, Matthew Fox, Beau Garrett, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Rebecca Spence, Danielle Vasinova and Kevin Zegers.

The Yellowstone universe has no signs of slowing down following the likely series finale of the flagship that aired back in December 2024. The Madison is one of several spinoff series currently in production, also including CBS’ Y: Marshals, starring Luke Grimes reprising his role as Kayce Dutton in the fall, and Paramount+’s Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler spinoff, Dutton Ranch (working title), which returns Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser to their roles and doesn’t yet have a premiere date. Another prequel, 1944, is in development following the likely conclusion of 1923.

The Madison is a modern-day spinoff with little known about how the characters will relate to the main Dutton family of the flagship series. Here is the official logline: “The series is a heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.”

Michelle Randolph, who married into the Dutton family on Dutton prequel series 1923 as Elizabeth, mused about if her character could crossover to The Madison, given how her story ended. “I don’t know a ton about The Madison,” she told The Hollywood Reporter after the 1923 ender, “but I know they come from the East Coast. I so I’m like, is there some sort of web [connecting] Elizabeth?”

Russell joins the growing list of A-list talent within Sheridan’s Yellowstone-verse, also including Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren on 1923 and Ed Harris, newly cast in Dutton Ranch.

The movie star known for Overboard, Tequila Sunrise and The Hateful Eight to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is currently starring in the Apple TV+ series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters alongside his son, Wyatt Russell. He is repped by UTA.

The Madison is executive produced by Sheridan, David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Voros, Michael Friedman, Pfeiffer, Russell and Keith Cox, and is produced by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios and Bosque Ranch Productions.

Ahan Shetty’s Next: Unlike Anything He’s Done Before! Joins Khyati Madaan’s Horror Film Inspired By A National Tradegy | Glamsham.com

written by jummy84

Actor Ahan Shetty has officially unveiled his next project, one that promises to take his career into unexplored territory. The young star, best known for his romantic action debut, announced via Twitter (X) and Instagram that he is stepping into horror for the first time with a film based on a real-life national tragedy. Calling it “a new journey unlike anything I’ve done before,” Ahan expressed excitement about the challenging project and gratitude toward his collaborators.

Creative Vision and Production Team

The film is penned by Patrick Graham, widely recognized for bringing international-style horror to Indian screens with projects like Ghoul and Betaal under Blumhouse’s Indian slate. Backing the venture are producers Khyati Madaan of Not Out Entertainment and Prashant Gunjalkar, both keen on expanding their company’s theatrical offerings. In his announcement, Ahan wrote: “India’s first horror film inspired by a national tragedy. Grateful to Patrick Graham for his vision, and to our producers… for making this possible.”

Part of a Bigger Slate

The untitled film will go on floors in early 2026 and is part of Not Out Entertainment’s growing lineup. Alongside this project, the banner is also developing the romantic horror-comedy Abhootpurva and a slice-of-life drama directed by National Award-winner Habib Faisal. These projects reflect the company’s commitment to balancing commercial appeal with experimental narratives.

What’s Next

While details of the female lead and official title remain under wraps, anticipation is already building. Industry watchers are keen to see how Ahan adapts to the horror genre and how Graham will merge supernatural storytelling with the emotional weight of a real-life tragedy. For Ahan, the film marks not just a genre shift but also a statement of intent—an attempt to carve his own niche in Bollywood.

Samuel L. Jackson Joins Sylvester Stallone

written by jummy84

Another season of Tulsa King is near.

On Tuesday, Paramount+ released the official trailer for the upcoming third season of the Sylvester Stallone-led crime series. And in this season, Samuel L. Jackson is introduced to the cast, playing a character named Russell Lee Washington Jr.

The trailer begins with Kevin Pollak’s Special Agent Musso, saying to Dwight Manfredi (Stallone): “What do you want from me?” to which Musso responds: “I own you, General.” Also introduced is the new castmember, Jeremiah Dunmire (Robert Patrick), a powerful person in the liquor business.

Here is the logline: “As Dwight’s (Stallone) empire expands, so do his enemies and the risks to his crew. Now, he faces his most dangerous adversaries in Tulsa yet: the Dunmires, a powerful old-money family that doesn’t play by old-world rules, forcing Dwight to fight for everything he’s built and protect his family.”

The third season comes off the success of season two, which drew in 21.1 million global viewers. Tulsa King was the No. 1 global Paramount+ original series in 2024. The show follows mafia capo, Dwight, 25 years after he’s released from prison, building a new crew after realizing his mob family doesn’t have his best interests.

Toward the end of the trailer, Dwight says to Russell as he approaches him in a bar: “Is that a ghost?,” to which Russell responds: “I bet ain’t nobody seen that coming.” Jackson’s Russell is also set to lead his own spinoff series, NOLA King.

Martin Starr, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Robert Patrick, Beau Knapp, Bella Heathcote, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Mike “Cash Flo” Walden, Kevin Pollak, Vincent Piazza, Frank Grillo, Michael Beach, James Russo, Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany round out the cast.

Dave Erickson is the showrunner. MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios produce the series. Taylor Sheridan, Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Jim McKay, Sheri Elwood, Ildy Modrovich and Keith Co serve as executive producers.

Season three will premiere on Sept. 21.

Cara Maria Sorbello Leaves, Jonna Mannion Joins

by jummy84 August 28, 2025
written by jummy84

[Warning: The following post contains MAJOR spoilers for The Challenge Season 41 Episode 5.]

Another GOAT of the show headed home on The Challenge‘s latest episode — though not for the reason you might think.

Wednesday’s (August 27) new episode of Vets and New Threats picked up right where the last one left off, with the remaining competitors dealing with the aftermath of Johnny Bananas‘ elimination. His showmance partner Dee Valladares staged an impromptu memorial on his now-empty bed, fit with an actual banana and a “no feet” sign as a wink to his apparent kink.

Meanwhile, Olivia Kaiser mused that his exit would have the unintended consequence of uniting the rookies against the veterans, and she seemed to be right based on the hush-hush bunkroom gathering Aneesa Ferreira accidentally (or maybe intentionally) crashed.

After that, Cara Maria Sorbello revealed that she needed to leave after receiving bad news about her mother’s health and saved her biggest goodbye for fellow Bostonian Chris “C.T.” Tamburello, who offered to leave right alongside her.

“This is harder than The Challenge itself,” she said of what she faced at home. “This is my escape. This is where I can just go on autopilot and focus on one thing and escape my home reality.” Of her exit, CT said in a confessional, “Cara is like a sister to me… I tell her to keep her head up, and she’s a tough chick, but I’m going to miss her.”

Cara’s exit meant Leo Dionicio had no partner, but instead of forcing him to become the next “hangnail” of the game, host T.J. Lavin announced that an alternate was coming into the game — it was not just any old player, but two-time The Challenge: All Stars winner Jonna Mannion. Game on.

The daily challenge was sponsored by (and themed in accordance with) the upcoming football horror film Him. Called “Dirtballer,” the grueling challenge required the pairs to work together to dig up giant wooden posts, carry them across a 500-meter field, then set them back into the ground to create a goalpost before kicking a field goal on it to win. Winning the challenge were Michaela Bradshaw and Jake Cornish. Coming in dead last were Dee and Derek Chavez.

Michaela, despite giving Olivia a spirited speech about her decision to protect someone who wasn’t being targeted, decided to throw their save to Jake’s pal Leo from potential elimination. Then, the house vote became a tie between Yeremi Hykel (whose partner Ashley Mitchell was loudly concerned about becoming a hangnail) and Ben Davis. T.J. resolved the tie with a coin toss, which sent Ben into the arena.

The elimination challenge was, like the daily, Him-coded as “Him Collide,” a variation of the classic Hall Brawl featuring a football. Without much resistance, Derek ran all over Ben and easily won, leaving his partner Olivia as the next hangnail.

Then came the selection, wherein the new partnerships were decided: Michael and Yeremi, Jake and Janna, Adrienne Naylor and Derek, Turabi “Turbo” Çamkıran and Tay Wilcoxson, Aviv Melmed and Cedric Hodges, Will Gagnon and Ashley, Ayoleka “Leka” Sodade and CT, Gabe Wai and Aneesa, America Chavez and Derrick Kosinski, Leroy Garrett and Izzy Fairthorne, Sydney Segal and Leo, Nany Gonzales and Theo Campbell, and Justin Hinsley and Dee.

All in all, there wasn’t too much drama in this particular episode, but the look-ahead tells us that things are about to sour up between CT and Turbo — meaning, the fear that vet-on-vet crimes would begin in the wake of Bananas’ departure might just come true after all.

Former Netflix Ad Chief Jeremi Gorman Joins Fanatics

by jummy84 August 26, 2025
written by jummy84

Fanatics hired Jeremi Gorman, the veteran ad exec who led Netflix’s foray into advertising, to lead the sports merchandise and media company’s new advertising division.

Gorman has been appointed Fanatics’ chief revenue officer and will oversee the ad division as it “introduces a new model for positioning brand partners at every touchpoint of modern fandom across content, commerce and culture,” the company announced. She previously served as a strategic adviser to Fanatics since November 2024.

Gorman previously served as president of advertising at Netflix, exiting the streamer after a little over a year. Prior to that, she was chief business officer at Snap, parent of Snapchat, following a seven-year run leading global advertising teams at Amazon.

At Fanatics, Gorman will split her time between Los Angeles and New York City and report into Tucker Kain, Fanatics’ chief strategy and growth officer.

The new vertical reimagines Fanatics’ advertising approach as a unified, end-to-end marketing engine that reflects the scale and global reach of the Fanatics brand, now reaching more than 100 million sports fans worldwide. The team oversees the advertising and brand partnerships strategy that spans Fanatics Commerce, Fanatics Collectibles, Fanatics Betting & Gaming, Fanatics Collect, and Fanatics Events. The model enables brands to reach sports fans in the right place at the right time, creating connections around the clock, whether they are shopping for gear, checking scores, placing bets, participating in live trading card breaks, or attending live events.

“Sports have a unique power to bring people together,” said Jeremi Gorman, Fanatics Advertising Chief Revenue Officer. “Fanatics sits at the center of that passion, with a connected ecosystem that spans commerce, content, and culture. This gives us the ability to deliver for our partners in ways few companies can, authentically engaging fans at scale, at every moment that matters.”

Over the past several months, the Fanatics Advertising team has been building the division’s infrastructure and capabilities and will soon launch the Fanatics Advertising Network (FAN) and Sports Video Network (SVN). Set to debut with the kickoff of the NFL season, these platforms will help brands extend their reach through digital video and CTV placements, strategically positioned alongside key sports programming.

“A unified advertising division unlocks cross-collaboration and creates incredible value for brands who are looking to get the most out of the Fanatics platform — a combination of assets that includes more than 100 million global fans, innovative businesses that reach across the full sports ecosystem, deep relationships with the world’s top sports properties, and a brand that has become synonymous with fandom,” said Tucker Kain, Fanatics Chief Strategy & Growth Officer. “With her impressive track record building and scaling Ad businesses for some of the most transformative global companies, Jeremi is the right leader to launch our new advertising model and offer unique ways for brands to engage deeper with fandom.”
