written by jummy84

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Zayn Malik’s song Eyes Closed has garnered great appreciation from their fans and music enthusiasts. Fans couldn’t believe that a One Direction singer collaborated with a BLACKPINK singer. As the collaboration happened, they were eager to know about the discussions the two had on the song. Interestingly, the song also landed at no. 72 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Zayn Malik also shared that he decided to collaborate with Jisoo after consulting his 5-year-old daughter Khai. While speaking to BBC Radio 1, he noted that he recorded the song and made sure to rework on his own parts to match the Flower singer’s vibe. Opening up on the collaboration with Jisoo, Malik lauded her solo success and hits with BLACKPINK. He added, “She is obviously killing at the minute. BLACKPINK are all over the place.” Zayn opened up about her global influence and praised BLACKPINK as one of the most sought after groups worldwide.

Talking about his daughter Khai, Zayn also said, “My daughter’s a massive fan. So when she asked to do the feature, I was like, yeah. My daughter’s gonna think I’m cool again. So I’ll definitely do that. I’m not out of the game yet.” Zayn also noted, “To come back to it with people who are basically owning that genre at the minute was an honour.”

Again, Zayn emphasised on Jisoo’s kindness and stated, “If I can say thanks to Jisoo for giving me that opportunity, I would like to say that.”

On the professional front, Zayn hasn’t opened up about any of his upcoming songs yet. As for Jisoo, the singer is currently with the other BLACKPINK members Lisa, Jennie and Rose for their world tour, the DEADLINE tour. The group also released a new song some time back, titled Jump.

Skrillex, Dylan Brady & Caroline Polachek Share New Song “hit me where it hurts”

by jummy84 November 15, 2025
written by jummy84

On April Fool’s Day, Skrillex surprise-released his album Fuck U Skrillex You Think Ur Andy Warhol But Ur Not!! , which recently earned him Grammy nominations for Best Dance/Electronic Album and Best Dance/Electronic Recording (for “Voltage”). He dropped a new single called “Fuze” with ISOxo last month, and today he’s got another new one. Enticingly, the hyperactive and high-octane “hit me where it hurts” pairs our boy Sonny with longtime collaborator Dylan Brady (also of 100 Gecs fame) and none other than Caroline Polachek, whose vocals from Pang track “Hit Me Where It Hurts” are threaded throughout. Listen below.

The Osbournes hit back at Roger Waters as “a sad, irrelevant, old, miserable, ugly human being”

by jummy84 November 13, 2025
written by jummy84

Ozzy Osbourne’s family have hit out at Roger Waters branding him “a sad, irrelevant, old, miserable, ugly human being”.

It comes after the Pink Floyd bassist previously spoke out about The Prince Of Darkness’ death shortly after his passing.

“Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him in his whatever state that he was in his whole life, we’ll never know. Although he was all over the TV for hundreds of years, with his idiocy and nonsense. The music, I have no idea. I couldn’t give a fuck,” Waters said at the time.

Waters went on: “I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did. I have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do. I couldn’t care less, you know.”

This led to Jack Osbourne hitting out at his comments and defending his late father’s honour.

“Hey Roger Waters, fuck you. How pathetic and out of touch you’ve become. The only way you seem to get attention these days is by vomiting out bullshit in the press. My father always thought you were a c*nt – thanks for proving him right,” he said in response.

Now, Sharon, Jack and Kelly Osbourne have laid into Waters again on the latest episode of The Osbournes Podcast.

Sharon said he was “probably one of the most sick individuals I’ve come across in years,” with Jack responding, “Oh, you talking about my mate Roger?,” before Kelly added: “He’s a fucking c*nt.”

Sharon continued: “He isn’t, ’cause c*nts are good. … He has no charisma. He looks like Frankenstein.”

She went on to say: “The guy is sick in the head. He is not relevant in today’s world. Nobody likes him. It’s not just us. Nobody likes this man. … unless you’re a fascist.”

Sharon added: “I don’t know how those guys in Pink Floyd put up with him as long as they did. … David [Gilmour] is the most gracious, warm person you could ever meet.”

She then summed him up as “a sad, irrelevant, old, miserable human being – a miserable ugly human being.”

Waters has previously denied accusations of antisemitism in his support for Palestine. In 2023, CAA published a documentary of the musician The Dark Side Of Roger Waters. Upon watching it, Waters slammed the film as “a flimsy, unapologetic piece of propaganda”.

The musician has been a longtime supporter of Palestine; most recently, he urged followers on social media not to vote for Kamala Harris or Donald Trump in the upcoming US election due to their respective stances on the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict. He has also hit back at other musicians for their various stances on Israel.

Speaking about Waters’ comments on Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon said: “Do you know why he [Waters] did it? He did it because he knows I’m half-Jewish.”

Waters is yet to respond publicly to any of the Osbournes’ comments.

In the past Sharon has hit out at Kneecap, over their stance on supporting Palestinians describing their “whole attitude” as “one of anger, it’s not of peace”. She also called for a “revocation of Kneecap’s work visa”.

The band in response said: “Statements aren’t aggressive, murdering 20,000 children is though.”

Elsewhere in the podcast, the family revealed that Ozzy was secretly hospitalised just two weeks before his final concert and they shared that both Donald Trump and King Charles reached out to them after learning of the Prince Of Darkness’ death.

South Park Tackles Deepfakes as Manipulated Videos Hit the Town

South Park Tackles Deepfakes as Manipulated Videos Hit the Town

by jummy84 November 13, 2025
written by jummy84

South Park went deep on deepfakes this week, with dual plotlines in Colorado and Washington centered around the concerning use of false video and the implications of its widespread use — be it for revenge porn or to excuse real footage.

We start this week’s episode with our beloved Butters, feeling like he was used, hellbent on revenge against his ex-girlfriend, Red, over the whole Labubu Satanic ritual incident at her birthday party last season. So the sweet boy decides to create an A.I. deepfake video of her being urinated upon by Santa Claus. Which is bad, but not quite as bad as the video Red makes of Butters having sex with Totoro, the lovable creature from the 1988 Hayao Miyazaki animated fantasy film, My Neighbor Totoro. And, yes, Butters defiling Totoro is something we just can’t unsee.

The plotline thickens surrounding Eric Cartman and Peter Thiel’s trip to Washington to battle The Antichrist — a kidnapping that is being covered up with deep fake AI videos of the young resident obnoxious anti-hero — as the boys’ mother starts asking questions of the local police. But Detective Harris is more concerned with the apparent series of rapes at South Park Elementary, and are soon questioning Butters about his relationship with Totoro (referred to here as “hat forest dwelling piece of shit”). And that’s when goons from Studio Ghibli in Japan show up, calling B.S. on the hard-earned work of animators being easily copied by AI deep fakes. They are soon thrown into South Park’s jail.

In Washington, Vice President J.D. Vance is getting a tongue lashing from President Trump over his meddling in his personal life, namely the baby he is expecting with Satan, aka the Antichrist. Trump fesses up that he doesn’t want the baby, as the little bundle of hellfire will cramp his social life. So Vance suggests a gunman he knows in Colorado who can take care of things. Satan walks in on the Veep and Prez in the White House hot tub, hatching the plan, but yells at Trump and runs off. At that point, Trump and Vance seem to have a moment in the hot tub… and end up making love in the Lincoln Bedroom — in a scene that goes on and on and never gets comfortable to watch.

Talk about a speedy trial. After the act break, the A.I. The video revenge situation at South Park Elementary is soon on trial — with animated favorite Bluey on the stand to testify about the bad things Kyle, Stan and Kenny made her do in a deep fake that she wasn’t even paid for. By episode’s end, it;s discovered that the videos of Cartman were fake and he’s rescued and as always, ungrateful of his mother’s love (“When’s the last time you saw me eat a pot pie?” he asks his relieved mom.

All’s well that ends well for Detective Harris, who believes that he busted a huge community of online rapists named after a popular AI tool. However, Trump is in hot water when Lincoln Bedroom surveillance footage of him getting freaky with Vance leaks to Fox News; the network issues a despondent, defeated report on the tryst; it’s so sad you can almost feel bad for the network and its Trump-loving staff. That is, until Trump clears the air by telling Fox anchor that, duh, of course that lengthy — too lengthy — sex scene with his veep was fake as hell. Satan seems skeptical but remains in Trump’s bed as the arrival of The AntiChrist gets closer…

Final Season of Netflix Hit Begins

by jummy84 October 30, 2025
written by jummy84

Nine years and five seasons later, Netflix‘s flagship series is finally coming to an end. “Stranger Things” will debut its fifth and final season this November, and the streamer has released a new trailer for the installment, promising a huge final battle for the beloved cast of characters.

Set in the fictional small town of Hawkins, Indiana, during the nostalgic days of the 1980s, “Stranger Things” follows a group of civilians — ranging from adults to teenagers — who encounter threats from the Upside Down, an alternate dimension teaming with monsters. Season 4 saw the cast confront the mysterious Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower), an incredibly powerful telepath, in a battle that left Hawkins devastated and expanded the rift between the Earth and the Upside Down.

The trailer for Season 4 shows a bit of the fallout from the events of Season 4, as Hawkins is now under military quarantine from the United States government to contain the monsters of the Upside Down. In order to save the town, the kids agree to go on one final adventure to find and kill Vecna, who himself has plans involving Will Byers (Noah Schnapp).

The logline for the season reads: “The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.”

“Stranger Things” first premiered in July 2016, receiving critical acclaim and becoming a massive word-of-mouth hit for the streamer. Currently, the fourth season is the most-watched season of TV in Netflix’s history according to its own internal metrics, only ranking behind Season 1 of “Wednesday” and the limited series “Adolescence.” The series has also spawned a large multimedia franchise, including an ongoing Broadway stage production, “Stranger Things: The First Shadow,” and an upcoming animated series, “Stranger Things: Tales From ’85.”

The series was created by identical twin team Matt and Ross Duffer, who also showrun and executive produce the series via their Upside Down Productions banner. Following the conclusion of the final season, the two will depart Netflix for Paramount, where they signed a four-year deal to produce new content for the studio. Shawn Levy of 21 Laps Entertainment and Dan Cohen also produce.

Season 5 features a huge ensemble cast that includes Bower, Schnapp, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, Cara Buono, Amybeth McNulty, Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly, Alex Breaux, and Linda Hamilton. The season will be split into three parts: the first, consisting of four episodes, will arrive on November 26. Three more episodes will debut on Christmas, and the finale arrives on New Year’s Eve. Each volume will debut on the streamer at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET.

Paramount Layoffs Hit Movie Execs In Production, Marketing, More

Paramount Layoffs Hit Movie Execs In Production, Marketing, More

by jummy84 October 29, 2025
written by jummy84

EXCLUSIVE: Paramount‘s motion picture divisions, including production, literary, marketing and music, were impacted today with many Melrose Ave lot vets exiting. The new David Ellison run conglom is handing out approximately 1,000 pink-slips as it looks to achieve $2 billion in overall savings. We understand that some of those savings aren’t in job cuts alone.

Among those departing, we hear, are President of Worldwide Music, Randy Spendlove who has been at the studio since 2006. Spendlove arrived to Paramount as a Grammy Winner for Best Soundtrack Album for the Miramax Best Picture Oscar winner, Chicago. He started at A&M Records as VP of Promotions where he worked with Janet Jackson, Sheryl Crow, Soundgarden and Bryan Adams. In 1998, he became President of Motion Picture Music at Miramax Films where he worked on Chicago, Shakespeare in Love, Cold Mountain and Finding Neverland. While at Paramount, he co-supervised the music and co-produced the soundtrack album for Dreamgirls, which was nominated for three Best Song Oscars.

Other executive departures include Bryan Oh, SVP of Production, who most recently was shepherding a K-pop music drama starring Ji-young Yoo and singer-songwriter Eric Nam; Geoff Stier, EVP of Production who was formerly with Showtime Original Programming and a previous Paramount vet overseeing such titles as World War Z and True Grit before coming back in July 2024; Andres Alvarez, EVP of Home Entertainment; Rachel Cadden, EVP of International Theatrical Marketing; Christine Benitez, SVP Multicultural Marketing; and Phil Cohen, SVP of Literary Affairs who arrived to the studio in 2022.

In a note to staff today, Paramount Co-Chairs Dana Golberg and Josh Greenstein took a knee, expressing how “difficult” today is and how “we want to take a moment to acknowledge the departure of valued colleagues and express our deep gratitude for their contributions, dedication, and the impact they’ve made on our studio.” The duo also emphasized the new Skydance-owned Paramount’s plan of “right-sizing our organization” which aims to “refocus our energy, and align our efforts with the endless opportunities ahead.”

There are 1,000 more expected to be cut from the roughly 20,000-employee count of the combined Paramount and Skydance. The next wave is hitting offshore offices. As Deadline previously reported, Paramount television and marketing/distribution were effected today.

Below is the internal email from Paramount Co-Chairs Dana Golberg and Josh Greenstein.

Team,

We recognize that today has been a difficult one as our workforce changes take effect. We want to take a moment to acknowledge the departure of valued colleagues and express our deep gratitude for their contributions, dedication, and the impact they’ve made on our studio.

This restructuring marks a pivotal step in shaping the path forward. We’re right-sizing our organization to ensure Paramount Pictures remains not only the iconic studio built on more than a century of storytelling, but also the leading destination for creators and innovators who will define the future of entertainment. Please know that we’re making these changes as comprehensively as possible to ensure we can move forward decisively, refocus our energy, and align our efforts with the endless opportunities ahead.

As we set our sights on the future, our goal is to create clarity and momentum as we begin this next chapter. Your managers and HR business partners are here to support you—please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns. What makes this place exceptional is the spirit of collaboration and kindness you show one another every day. We know that same generosity will carry us through this transition.

We will be sharing more around our strategy and structure in the coming weeks and appreciate your continued commitment and focus.

Thank you for everything you bring to this team. We’re confident that, together, we’ll build an even stronger future.

Dana and Josh

SkyShowtime Orders ‘Pionek,’ Continuation of Polish Hit Show ‘Śleboda’

by jummy84 October 29, 2025
written by jummy84

Crime drama Śleboda (Deadly Ties), streaming service SkyShowtime‘s first locally commissioned Polish original series, which has turned out to be an audience hit, will return for another season under the working title Pionek, the joint venture of Comcast and Paramount Skydance said on Thursday. It will be based on the second novel in the critically acclaimed series of novels by Małgorzata Fugiel-Kuźmińska and Michał Kuźmiński that was adapted for Śleboda.

Pionek, set to start production later this year, marks SkyShowtime’s first Polish recommission and will continue the story of Anka Serafin and Sebastian Strzygoń, with Maria Dębska and Maciej Musiał set to return in the lead roles.

Śleboda quickly became the streamer’s best-performing series in the market to-date, leading SkyShowtime to make it available across all its more than 20 markets. The series revolved around Anka (Dębska), a young anthropologist on a journey of self-discovery, who travels to the beautiful landscape of the Podhale region at the foot of the Tatra mountains only to stumble upon a dead body. She quickly becomes entangled in a murder mystery, crossing paths with Sebastian (Musiał), a shameless journalist on the hunt for a scoop, and Jędrek (Pacek), a local police officer with whom she shared a teenage romance.

Pionek will again be written by Karolina Frankowska and Katarzyna Golenia and directed by Michał Gazda and Bartosz Blaschke. Maciej Lisiecki will serve as the director of cinematography. Magdalena Szwedkowicz (Forgotten Love) and her MAG Entertainment will once again produce the series.

The show joins the streamer’s growing slate of original Polish productions, including The Cop. A New Chapter, and the upcoming first Polish documentary series, Krychowiak: One Step From the Top.

Said SkyShowtime chief content officer Kai Finke: “Following on from the stand-out success of SkyShowtime original Śleboda, we’re incredibly excited to continue the gripping story of Anka Serfain and Sebastian Strzygoń with Pionek, sharing another compelling instalment from Małgorzata Fugiel-Kuźmińska and Michał Kuźmiński’s acclaimed crime series. As our first Polish recommission, Pionek marks a thrilling new chapter for Polish drama on SkyShowtime and reflects our commitment to working with the best creative talent to produce authentic, locally produced storytelling.”

Bob Vylan hit back at “scare tactic” of British Airways dropping sponsorship of Louis Theroux podcast

by jummy84 October 26, 2025
written by jummy84

Bob Vylan frontman Bobby Vylan has hit back at British Airways after it pulled its Louis Theroux podcast sponsorship.

At this year’s Glastonbury Festival, the punk duo delivered a controversial performance on the West Holts Stage, using their platform to voice their support for the people of Palestine, call out the Israeli military and criticise the BBC, as well as the UK and US governments.

In the most provocative moment of the set, Vylan told the huge crowd, “have you heard this one?”, before leading a chant of “death, death to the IDF”. It led to a criminal investigation from Avon and Somerset Police, as well as the cancellation of multiple international shows and the revocation of their US visas.

Earlier this week, he gave his first in-depth interview on the subject on The Louis Theroux Podcast, in which he said he was “not regretful” of his remarks at Glasto, adding: “I’d do it again tomorrow, twice on Sundays. I’m not regretful of it at all.”

This has since led to British Airways withdrawing its adverts from the podcast, saying that the content breached its sponsorship policy.

Make no mistake, this is a scare tactic. I went on the podcast and as hard as the lobby groups and media tried, they couldn’t twist anything I said. So they have resorted to lobbying for Louis’ sponsorship to be pulled in an attempt to scare others out of giving me a platform. https://t.co/lxmsX0aZlt

— Bob Vylan (@BobbyVylan) October 26, 2025

Taking to X, earlier today (October 26) Vylan hit back at the move, writing: “Make no mistake, this is a scare tactic. I went on the podcast and as hard as the lobby groups and media tried, they couldn’t twist anything I said. So they have resorted to lobbying for Louis’ sponsorship to be pulled in an attempt to scare others out of giving me a platform.”

In a follow up tweet, he wrote: “They thought they were going to get a dumb angry punk ranting. Instead they got articulate and considered responses to each question with facts to back it up when needed. Their hope to further vilify me couldn’t run, so they target Louis to make an example for sitting with me.

“The lobby groups, the British government and media are determined to make an example of me, all because I dare to want an end to a genocidal occupying force guilty of war crimes.”

The lobby groups, the British government and media are determined to make an example of me, all because I dare to want an end to a genocidal occupying force guilty of war crimes.

— Bob Vylan (@BobbyVylan) October 26, 2025

Upon removing the sponsorship, a spokesperson for BA said via The Guardian: “Our sponsorship of the series has now been paused and the advert has been removed.”

“We’re grateful that this was brought to our attention, as the content clearly breaches our sponsorship policy in relation to politically sensitive or controversial subject matters,” the statement continued.

“We and our third-party media agency have processes in place to ensure these issues don’t occur and we’re investigating how this happened.”

NME has contacted BA for a response on Bobby Vylan’s latest comments.

In the podcast with Theroux, Vylan said the backlash he had faced was “minimal”, adding: “It’s minimal compared to what people in Palestine are going through. If that can be my contribution and if I can have my Palestinian friends and people that I meet from Palestine that have had to flee, that have lost members in double digits of their family and they can say: ‘Yo, your chant, I love it.’ Or it gave me a breath of fresh air or whatever.”

He also said that he did not want to overstate the importance of the chant. “That’s not what I’m trying to do, but if I have their support, they’re the people that I’m doing it for, they’re the people that I’m being vocal for, then what is there to regret? Oh, because I’ve upset some rightwing politician or some rightwing media?”

Earlier this week, the duo rescheduled their headline shows in Manchester and Leeds “due to political pressure” from MPs and Jewish leaders.

The gigs were originally set to be the first two stops on the London punk-rap duo’s 2025 ‘We Won’t Go Quietly’ UK and Ireland tour. They had been scheduled to perform at Leeds’ O2 Academy on November 4, before heading to Manchester Academy the following night (5).

The duo also recently released their new single, ‘Sick Sad World’, where they called out Prime Minister Keir Starmer and “the BBC’s lies“.
