Jeezy Makes 5th Annual Sno Ball Gala Adorable Daddy-Daughter Date

Jeezy shared the red carpet at his 5th annual Sno Ball Gala with his toddler, Monaco Jenkins, on Thursday night (Oct. 9) in Atlanta. Jeezy and his ex-wife Jeannie Mai welcomed baby Monaco in 2022.

The father-daughter duo stepped out in their best threads for the rapper’s annual fundraising event, him in a suit while the 3-year-old served age-appropriate glam in a gold dress and matching tiara.

Taking place at the Delta Flight Museum, the upscale event hosted the likes of Lil Jon, T.I., Ludacris, and more. The gala is coordinated through Jeezy’s  Street Dreamz Foundation to raise funds for underserved communities.  According to the official website, the non-profit was launched in 2001 by the Soul Survivor performer to encourage a generation of at-risk youth to become effective leaders through programs that foster independence and respect for others, while educating and motivating each child to reach their ultimate potential in their area of interest.

Fans of the 48-year-old can soon see the rapper as he extended his Thug Motivation 101 Live anniversary tour with a Las Vegas residency. The first part takes on a masquerade theme and will take place on October 31 and November 1. The second edition will be Nutcracker-themed and occur on December 19 and 21.

“If you don’t call that Black excellence and leveling up, then I don’t know what is,” remarked Jeezy when the concert was announced.

bitchy | Prince Harry & Meghan wore his-and-hers Armani at the Project Healthy Minds gala

by jummy84 October 11, 2025
written by jummy84

I swear, every time the Duchess of Sussex steps out in public in the past five years, the immediate reaction across the board is “I see why they’re mad.” You look at her beautiful face, her healthy hair, her beautiful skin, her innate glamour and sexiness, and you can just hear the plates being smashed in the UK. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped out last night for Project Healthy Minds’ gala. Harry and Meghan received the Humanitarians of the Year award, mostly for founding the Parents’ Network through their Archewell Foundation.

Meghan and Harry wore his-and-hers Armani suits. We see Meghan so rarely on a “red carpet,” I think the fans always want her to go all out, but I like her choices here. While her black suit is relatively conservative, it’s also dressy enough for the event and the subject matter. It’s still sexy as well – the jacket has a slim cut, and I love that Meghan didn’t wear anything underneath the jacket. Her necklace is apparently from Anine Bing (it looks so much like a Tiffany & Co. necklace), and her bag and shoes are Armani.

One of the most ridiculous headlines in the British media is the Telegraph’s “Sussexes echo Princess of Wales’s warning over children and phones.” As in, that’s the whole f–king reason why Kate “coauthored” that stupid “phones are bad for kids” essay, which was published yesterday. Instead of honest reporting and instead of acknowledging that Harry and Meghan received this award for work they’ve been doing for years, derangers and royal reporters are acting as if the Sussexes are “copying” Asparagus Keen. You can read Harry & Meghan’s speeches here.

Alongside last night’s event, the Sussexes announced an expansion of the Parents’ Network. They’re partnering with ParentsTogether, “a national nonprofit focused on advocating for families and online safety.” This partnership will extend to education and protecting children from AI, specifically chatbots.

by jummy84 October 2, 2025
written by jummy84

Headline sponsors with representatives from Mr and Mrs Grey, Eventologist, G3, The Belfry, with Chair and Vice Chair of beam Louisa Watson and David Tremmil.

beam has announced that the box office is officially open for its highly anticipated Annual Gala Dinner, taking place on Friday, 30 January 2026, in the newly opened Masters Suite at The Belfry.

Following the outstanding success of the 2025 celebration at The Grand, Birmingham, next year’s Gala Dinner is shaping up to be a show-stopping spectacle. Attendees from the last Gala Dinner were given exclusive early-bird access to 2026 tickets, and over 120 places were snapped up in a sign of the 2025 event’s impact and excitement for 2026.

Helping to set the stage with their creative vision and expert support are headline sponsors Mr and Mrs Grey, Eventologist, G3, and The Belfry. They will deliver an evening filled with surprises and theatrical flair in a true celebration of the beam community and industry.

The evening will also see the launch of the inaugural beam Awards, opened last month, with categories designed to recognise excellence, innovation, and dedication across the meetings and events sector.

Speaking about the occasion, beam Chair Louisa Watson said: “Huge excitement is building for the Gala Dinner. Planning began in August, when our headline sponsors met us with initial creative ideas, and the vision for the evening is already coming to life. Alongside our new beam Awards, it promises to be a night to ‘break LinkedIn’. As it will be my final event as beam’s Chair, I’m looking forward to celebrating with colleagues and friends, and recognising everyone who makes beam so special.”

John Legend Honored At 2025 Black Music Action Coalition Gala: Photos

by jummy84 September 21, 2025
written by jummy84

The 2025 Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC) Gala brought musicians, executives, journalists, and activists together for a common cause. For the fifth annual event, hundreds gathered at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA., to recognize the important work done by the organization as well as to fund and empower its future efforts. BMAC was founded in 2020 and, since its inception, has distributed over $4 million in direct economic relief, established over 200 paid internships and job placements, reached more than 5,500 students, and mentored over 500 emerging music artists and industry professionals.

“Many would think that the work and the progress that happened in 2020 was not effective, but it’s actually the complete opposite. The reason why we are feeling this sort of federal attack on diversity and inclusion is because of the impact that was made in 2020. So this is not the time to retreat, but the time to double and triple down on those commitments, and the music industry has always challenged this country and the world to live up to its potential, and so that’s what inspires us,” explained BMAC cofounder and CEO Willie “Prophet” Stiggers on the red carpet ahead of the event.

“BMAC might have formed in 2020, but we come from a long tradition of the entertainment industry being able to be a powerful platform to advance these conversations, and over the next five years, we are going to be as committed as we ever been,” as he continued to relay organization plans to expand its advocacy into global territory.

In all its elegance, the 2025 Gala added John Legend, Irving Azoff, Sherrese Clarke / HarbourView Equity Partners, Kai Cenat and Apple & Apple Music, and Primary Wave Music to its growing list of esteemed honorees in its five-year history. The event kicked off with a four-course dinner and musical selections performed by the 1500 Or Nothing musical ensemble. After a call for donations at the fundraising event, with the largest public commitment being $10,000, host Mickey Guyton took the stage to perform “Black Like Me.”

She was then joined by her co-host, Kenny Burns, who shifted attention to current events with lighthearted quips about Jimmy Kimmel being suspended indefinitely at ABC, accompanied by a brief snippet of YG and Nipsey Hussle’s politically-charged “FDT.” While the event featured first-time introductions, well overdue reunions, dancing, and a performance by Earth, Wind & Fire, all in attendance were united on the mission. Guests included Tyrese, Cash Cobain, Estelle, Eric Benét, and more.

During his time on stage, John Legend shared a passionate speech, bringing Burns’ opening remarks full circle.

“Progress isn’t guaranteed. Power doesn’t give itself away, and truth-telling doesn’t come without a cause. We’re watching it happen in real time. Our government is kidnapping and disappearing our friends and neighbors. People [are] taking their kids to school, serving food in the park. And then they’re flooding our streets with militarized soldiers, war fighters, to silence those who dare to speak out. We’re watching the richest people on earth get richer while our government takes from the poorest children in the world,” remarked the Ohio native as he accepted the BMAC Quincy Jones Humanitarian Award presented by Babyface.

“We’re watching journalists, truth-tellers, get punished for doing their jobs. Just this week, the Washington Post fired a black woman journalist, Karen Attiah, for simply quoting the exact words of the President’s favorite podcaster,” in reference to Charlie Kirk.

He continued, “We are living in a time where truth-telling comes with consequences, a time where progress is reversed, facts are distorted, and those who dare to speak up are punished. But every step forward we’ve ever taken in this country, every single win began with somebody telling the truth,” adding, “That’s what Nina Simone understood in 1963 when she sat down at her piano in a moment of fury and courage. And that’s the tradition I choose to walk in.”

Les Mis to host 40th anniversary gala with Alfie Boe and Michael Ball

by jummy84 September 16, 2025
written by jummy84

Guests will include ex-Jean Valjeans Alfie Boe and Michael Ball alongside Patti LuPone, Carrie Hope Fletcher and star of the Les Mis movie Samantha Barks.

The company of nearly 100 performers will be giving an in-concert version of the show’s soundtrack, similarly to the previous 25th and 30th anniversary runs.

All proceeds from the gala will go to UK food charities The Felix Project and UKHarvest, which work to rescue and redistribute healthy food to families in London.

Following the announcement, the show’s long-time producer Cameron Mackintosh said: “It is an extraordinary feeling to be celebrating our 40th Anniversary of Les Misérables on London’s Shaftesbury Avenue.

Les Mis. Deen Van Meer

“Having staged several of our other milestone performances in iconic venues like the Royal Albert Hall for our 10th or the o2 Arena for our 25th, I wanted to bring this special celebration home back to its roots.

“Unlike any other musical in history, Les Misérables has continuously triumphed in, not one, but two different and equally successful stagings of the musical, a hugely successful Oscar-winning movie, and spectacular staged concerts in both vast arenas and theatres around the world.

“Victor Hugo’s creation has proved to have no bounds, continuing to reach new corners of the Earth, playing to different races in their own languages, swept along by Boublil and Schönberg’s inspirational musical score. The reaction of the audience, wherever they are on the planet, is always uplifting; just as Victor Hugo hoped it would be when he first published the novel in 1845.”

Tickets for the gala will go on sale this Friday, but you can already get tickets to the show’s special anniversary performances taking place from 8th September to 3rd November.

When is the Les Misérables 40th anniversary gala?

The gala will take place on Les Mis’s actual anniversary of 8th October, and will be held at London’s Sondheim Theatre.

Who is confirmed for the Les Misérables 40th anniversary gala?

A company of nearly 100 performers will perform at the 40th anniversary gala. Including West End and Broadway legends Patti LuPone, Michael Ball, Alfie Boe, Samantha Barks, and Carrie Hope Fletcher.

Social media is sounding off after Beyoncé and Jay-Z were spotted sitting with Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner during REFORM Alliance’s Casino Night Gala.

Alia Bhatt says ‘fashion is more than just clothes’; opens up about Met Gala, Cannes and iconic red carpet looks | Fashion Trends

Alia Bhatt opens up about her favourite fashion moments, from iconic tributes to Rekha to glamorous red carpets, and how she brings creativity to every look.

Alia Bhatt is an absolute fashionista who has made her mark on the global stage, whether it’s Cannes, Gucci, or the Met Gala, she has proved time and again that the actor remains at the top of the fashion charts. In her September 4 interview with Grazia, she opened up about what draws her to certain events, the people she collaborates with, and how she approaches fashion as more than just a look. In her latest interview, Alia Bhatt discusses her trust in her creative team and the meaningful connections she forms at global events.

What makes Alia’s red carpet moments so special

Reflecting on her experiences at prestigious events like Gucci shows, the Cannes red carpet, and The Met, Alia explains that these occasions are about far more than fashion. “I truly enjoy every moment of these events,” she says.

Alia adds, “There’s a beautiful kind of chaos, but it’s filled with incredible energy. What makes it even more special is meeting talented women from across the globe, learning about the work they’re doing, and sharing a little bit of yourself in return. It creates a sense of connection that makes the world feel smaller, and that feeling is really wonderful.” For her, these gatherings are not just glamorous outings, they are spaces to connect, exchange ideas, and celebrate creativity in all its forms.

How she recreated Rekha’s iconic look

Alia’s approach to fashion is thoughtful, guided by collaborations with people who value storytelling and attention to detail. Whether working with Rhea Kapoor, Anaita Shroff Adajania, or Sabya Mukherjee, she gravitates toward projects that go beyond the surface. “We take pleasure in the little details, whether people get it or not is okay,” she adds.

Her most recent homage to the legendary Rekha highlights this philosophy perfectly. Trusting her team completely, she recreated the iconic look on the day of the screening, embracing both spontaneity and creativity. “I trust my team and people like Rhea blindly; we align on thought which is why we work together,” she says.

Jennifer Aniston Finally Reveals Why She’s Never Attended the Met Gala

Jennifer Aniston has always been the quintessential L.A. girl. From her signature flip flops and tank tops to her sun-kissed bronde hair, she epitomizes what we think of as California style, as eponymous to L.A. as the Dodgers, palm trees, and green juice.

But Aniston has also spent plenty of time on the East Coast New York as well. Whether she’s filming The Morning Show on location or dining out with friends or a rumored new relationship, she’s obviously comfortable navigating New York City.

So, why then, has Jennifer Aniston—one of the biggest TV and movie stars on the planet—never attended fashion’s biggest night? She’s been a staple at the Emmys, the Oscars, the Golden Globes, the SAG Awards, but never the Met Gala, the exclusive annual fundraising event for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute.

“Yes, I have [been invited],” Aniston confirms to Glamour for our September global cover story on the women of The Morning Show. The Emmy-winning actor would no doubt stun in whatever look she’d choose, but says that the thought of posing on and walking those iconic stairs “overwhelms me.”

“I’m a jeans and flip-flop and tank top kind of girl,” Aniston continues. “I love dressing up too, but, for me, it’s a mental game of…put on a fancy dress, makeup, get your hair all purdy and go sit in a big room with your peers. [And yes,] everyone’s there to celebrate each other and have some fun, but I get nervous.”

It’s understandable. And Aniston’s not alone. Meryl Streep, Emma Thompson, Angelina Jolie, Annette Bening, and many more A-listers (including, interestedly enough, Brad Pitt) have never attended the annual gala chaired, of course, by Condé Nast Chief Content Office and Vogue Global Editorial Director, Anna Wintour.

“I even get a little anxious about public speaking, especially over the years of having your words twisted and taken out of context,” Aniston says. “So, I find myself almost hall monitoring myself in a weird way.”

Even so, Aniston says she still appreciates the red carpet, even if her Morning Show character, Alex Levy, has a certain disdain for it. “I don’t feel [the same way Alex does].” Still, “some people find it like a sport where they build you up and then they love to tear you down. What’s the reason why people do it? Who knows? But I just try as best I can [to tune it out] because it doesn’t do you any good.”

Still, that’s not to say Aniston won’t ever walk those famous stairs. But her decision not to attend is one of the many reasons we love the former Friends star; she stays true to herself, flip flops and all.

Colman Domingo and Jude Law Lead amfAR’s Venice Gala to a $3.4 Million Haul

The glitz and glam of the 82nd Venice Film Festival reached a crescendo on Sunday evening, as Hollywood’s elite flocked to the amfAR Venezia Gala, an opulent benefit dinner supporting HIV/AIDS research and prevention. From Jude Law and Colman Domingo to Halsey and Jesse Williams, stars joined philanthropists, researchers, and high-profile international patrons to raise over $3.4 million.

Dressed in a bright-green custom Valentino jacket, Domingo served as the evening’s emcee. The prolific actor kicked off the blowout bash at Venice’s historic Arsenale complex, welcoming guests with a toast and stressing the urgency of continued support for HIV/AIDS research. “To this day, every minute, one person dies of AIDS-related causes,” he said. “And every single minute, two people join the 40 million people worldwide living with HIV.”

amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, is the world’s leading nonprofit dedicated to ending the global AIDS epidemic. Founded by Elizabeth Taylor in 1985, amfAR has awarded more than 3,800 grants to research teams worldwide. Thanks to this funding, advances in HIV research have led to new prevention options and have informed new treatments for cancer, as well as improved therapies for people with autoimmune disorders. amfAR’s extravagant, star-studded galas have become a cornerstone of its fundraising, with black-tie events and high-octane auctions throughout the year in Cannes, New York, Las Vegas, and Palm Beach.

At last night’s Venezia Gala, the most sought-after lot was a painting from acclaimed filmmaker and artist Julian Schnabel. The Oscar-nominated director spontaneously offered to paint a portrait of the evening’s highest bidder, setting off a rapturous bidding war. Halsey—the Grammy-nominated singer of “Closer” and “Without Me”—competed with an anonymous phone bidder. Following a heated contest, Schnabel agreed to create two portraits for €500,000 each (about $585,000), one for the anonymous bidder and one for Halsey, who was recently diagnosed with the autoimmune disease lupus.

Schnabel also received amfAR’s Award of Inspiration in recognition of his longstanding commitment to the fight against AIDS. The painter-director, who will screen his latest film In the Hand of Dante at the festival later this week, accepted the honor from Law.

After impeccably dressed attendees enjoyed Italian spritzes, Negronis, Champagne, and a multi-course Venetian dinner featuring umbrina, Ava Max electrified the party with a medley of chart-topping hits, including “Sweet but Psycho” and “Kings & Queens.” Guests like Paris Jackson, Sofia Carson, and Joan Smalls shimmied on the dance floor along the venue’s waterfront and sang along.

“Every death from HIV/AIDS is a tragedy, and we can stop them all with a cure,” Domingo said in closing. “If you take anything with you tonight, let it not be the sobering statistics. Let it be this: We can cure HIV, and we will!”
