Shanthi Priya & Anjali Sivaraman On Anurag Kashyap As A Producer

Veteran actress Shanthi Priya remembered her first meeting with the filmmaker and how unexpectedly he became involved with the project. Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, she said, “First day when he came on set, he was seeing the monitor and we talked, I thanked him for giving me this opportunity. That was the only chat we had. Lead actress Anjali Sivaraman also expressed her excitement about having Anurag Kashyap support the film. She shared, “It was a surreal experience, he is a powerhouse in the film industry, people who are highly respected and to see value in our movie, it felt like we were doing something right. EXCLUSIVE: Anjali Sivaraman REVEALS She Lost Few Projects For Being ‘More Attractive’ Than Lead

by jummy84 October 2, 2025
written by jummy84

Actress Anjali Sivaraman has opened up about a surprising reason why she lost out on some acting roles being considered more attractive than the lead actors. In a bold and honest statement, Anjali revealed how her looks sometimes worked against her in the film industry.

Anjali Sivaraman Says She Lost Roles For Being ‘Too Attractive’

Anjali narrated her story on being replaced in some projects and stated speaking to Bollywood Bubble, “I hate sounding arrogant in these part but then it just a fact. I haven’t got certain roles because they were secondary character and I was more attractive than the lead so I didn’t end up getting work. This has happened few time where I have not got the work for that particular reason.”

She added that this wasn’t a one-time thing but has happened multiple times in her career. While beauty is often seen as an advantage in the entertainment world, Anjali’s experience shows a different side one where being “too attractive” can actually become a problem.

“In this industry, we have the power of hair and makeup, and this film (Bad Girl) is the perfect example to show you how it can completely change your appearance,” she concluded. However, the actress believes in the power of transformation in cinema. She pointed out how hair and makeup can completely change how a person looks on screen.

About Bad Girl

Anjali plays the lead role in Bad Girl, a coming-of-age drama written and directed by Varsha Bharath. The film follows the emotional journey of a young woman as she faces challenges, makes mistakes, and grows into herself. The movie is produced by acclaimed filmmakers Vetrimaaran and Anurag Kashyap, under the Grass Root Film Company banner.

Bad Girl is an important project for Anjali, not only because she plays the central character, but also because it allows her to break free from being judged only by her looks and instead showcase her true talent.

With this film, Anjali hopes to change how people see her and how the industry sees beauty and talent.

Doja Cat Co-Hosts ‘Tonight Show’ With Jimmy Fallon: Exclusive Photos

by jummy84 October 2, 2025
written by jummy84

Is there enough room behind The Tonight Show desk for two hosts? On Wednesday night’s (Oct. 1) episode, Jimmy Fallon makes room for Doja Cat to join him as co-host, and Billboard has exclusive photos from her appearance.

And it looks like a fun one: In addition to two pics of the duo behind the famous late-night desk — one of which has each co-host holding up a vinyl copy of Doja’s just-released fifth studio album Vie — we also have a pic of the pop star teaching Fallon how to dance. (It looks like she might be giving him step-by-step moves to New Kids on the Block’s “The Right Stuff” dance here.) Watch a clip from the dance lesson below:

Doja’s ’80s-inspired ‘fit for the episode is a shimmering silver tunic paired with metallic tights and matching silver pumps, finished with lavender leather gloves.

Elsewhere during her co-hosting gig — her debut behind the desk — Billboard is told that Doja does a dramatic Real Housewives re-enactment alongside Tarik Trotter of The Roots.

But Doja isn’t the only special guest visiting Studio 6B on Wednesday night: Social superstar Druski will sit down for an interview and Blood Orange is the night’s performer.

Doja joins an elite group of stars who have co-hosted The Tonight Show, also including fellow musicians Ed Sheeran, Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B and Shawn Mendes.

The Tonight Show airs at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and streams next day on Peacock, but you can check out our exclusive photos right now.

EXCLUSIVE: DYK, Janhvi Kapoor Auditioned For Govinda Naam Mera? Shashank Khaitan Reveals Why She’s Cast Opposite Varun Dhawan In Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari

by jummy84 October 1, 2025

Filmmaker Shashank Khaitan spoke about casting Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra in his upcoming film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. He shared how each actor became part of the project and why they were chosen for their roles.

Shashank Khaitan On Casting Janhvi Kapoor

Shashank Khaitan explained that while he usually doesn’t think of any actor while writing, Varun Dhawan was an exception. Varun had already shown interest in the idea, so Shashank had him in mind from the start. Once the main characters, Tulsi, Vikram, and Ananya, were written, he began thinking of the right actors to play them. He revealed how he created Dhadak with Janhvi Kapoor, and she also auditioned for Govinda Naam Mera, which starred Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, and Kiara Advani. Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, he said, “Janhvi Kapoor had once auditioned for a film of mine called Govinda Naam Mera. Our dates didn’t work out, but she had given a phenomenal audition, and it was a funny audition. In this character, I wanted someone who could be very vulnerable and yet at the same time, there’s a wild, mad side to the character.”

He added, “I realised that Janhvi has never played a character like that. So for me, it was very exciting to kind of tell her that, you know what? We did, we made a Dhadak together, which is a very different film. Yes, now let’s make a Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari together, which is going to be a wildly different movie from that.”

A post shared by Shashank Khaitan (@shashankkhaitan)

Talking about Rohit Saraf and Sanya Malhotra, Shashank said that casting director Mukesh Chhabra helped a lot. He revealed, “Our casting director was Mr. Mukesh Chhabra. I was chewing his brains, and to whom are the right people? Whom do we go to? And we met a few people, but not from a perspective that we were clear, but just the vibes, how they, or also how they react to the characters. So I think when I met Sanya and Rohit, both individually, for the first time. I think from my end, it struck me immediately like they’re the perfect guys to play these characters.”

He also mentioned supporting actors like Maniesh Paul and Akshay Oberoi, saying their presence added even more depth and fun to the film. Directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film also stars Rohit Saraf, Sanya Malhotra, and Maniesh Paul, amongst a stellar cast. It is produced by Dharma Productions and Mentor Disciple Entertainment. Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is all set for a worldwide theatrical release on Dussehra, October 2, 2025.

‘If I could dance, maybe Bollywood could work’: Enrique Iglesias on return to India and its ‘amazing energy’ | Exclusive

by jummy84 October 1, 2025
written by jummy84

If you are not a young Millennial, it is perhaps hard to describe the chokehold Enrique Iglesias had on an entire generation in the 2000s. The singer remains one of the most influential musicians of our time, and also one of the most popular international artists in India. That is why it is hard to understand why his last visit to these shores was in 2012. It may have taken 13 years, but Enrique is back, or at least he is en route.

HT EXCLUSIVE | Enrique Iglesias talks about his India return.

The singer will perform in Mumbai in October. Ahead of the much-anticipated visit, the multi-platinum singer spoke to Hindustan Times about India, the evolution of his music, and Bollywood, among other things.

On the return to India

When Enrique’s India visit was first announced in June, there was only one show scheduled. But the demand for tickets was so high that it sold out in minutes, and the promoters added another. Was the singer surprised? He says, “You never know when you first announce, but I will say that I had a great feeling about India specifically. The fans there are so amazing and dedicated.”

Enrique says he is in awe of India’s energy, something that makes the crowds here and performances very different. “The energy is incredible. The crowds, the fans, the people….EVERYTHING is always amazing,” he says. But then what took him 13 years to return to this ‘amazing’ place? “It just takes time to go around the world and then return. I would definitely love to come here more often in the future,” says Enrique.

The October concert will be Enrique Iglesias' first performance in India since 2012.
The October concert will be Enrique Iglesias’ first performance in India since 2012.

On Indian music and Bollywood

During his last visit to India, Enrique expressed his admiration for Indian music. He has collaborated with Sunidhi Chauhan, among other Indian artistes, over the years. “I am always listening and watching,” he says, as the conversation moves to Indian music. He adds, “I have done duets and remixes in the past with various Indian artists and am always considering the future.”

Everything about Enrique’s music and persona is very Indian. He is a heartthrob who sings, which begs the question as to why nobody from Bollywood has cast him yet. “Have there been offers?” we ask him. “If I could dance, maybe it would work,” he responds with a smile.

At 50, Enrique is completing 30 years in the music industry. It has been a while. When asked what changes he has seen in his music and style, the singer flips the question. “I would divert that question right back to the fans,” he says. But is there something he would change in his journey so far? Never to be outwitted, Enrique has the perfect reply ready: “I would have loved to come to India hundreds of more times.”

Enrique Iglesias’ India concert

Enrique will perform at the MMRDA Grounds in Mumbai on 29 and 30 October. Produced and promoted by EVA Live in partnership with BEW Live, this concert marks the multi-platinum-selling artist’s highly anticipated return to India after 13 years.

Joey Graziadei Talks New ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Role, Injury Secrets and More (Exclusive)

by jummy84 September 30, 2025
written by jummy84

Joey Graziadei wasn’t quite ready to leave the ballroom. After The Bachelor Season 28 star won the Season 33 Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy with pro Jenna Johnson he’s back as the first-ever host of the Dancing With the Stars Official Podcast. He’s taken on an entirely new role, not unlike going from The Bachelorette to the lead of The Bachelor.

Instead of competing every week, Graziadei will be watching the performances closely and diving into what’s going on behind the scenes. Graziadei spoke with TV Insider about stepping into the hosting space, how he’s viewing the show in a completely new light, his secret injuries last season, and more.

How did you react to getting the call about staying in the Dancing With the Stars world with this podcast?

Graziadei: I was so excited when that call came through. Obviously, I stayed in touch with the whole family in general, especially the executive producers, and they knew that I really was looking to, after my time on Dancing With the Stars, get more into the hosting space and try to find those opportunities, just in any space, be able to do some more hosting. When the Dancing With the Stars call came to do something on the podcast side, it just seemed like a great fit. I was honored that they thought of me, super excited, and eager to get started, build that skill, and have an opportunity to really be a part of this new season, which everyone’s so excited about. There were a lot of emotions. There was excitement, there was relief, there were a lot of things that came through, but I’m honestly most of all just grateful that I got the opportunity.

ABC

Since you’re covering the season for the podcast, are you in the ballroom every week?

Graziadei: I’m going to be there almost every single Monday and Tuesday. That is the plan and what I want to be a part of. I guess the best way to describe it is I knew how it was on the show, where during the weeks, from Wednesday through Sunday, you’re kind of in your own little bubble, you’re in the studio, you’re working on your dance, but Monday is kind of when everyone comes together. That’s when they do the camera blocking. That’s when we start to get a feel for the ballroom and the dances that week. I really have made it a goal to try to be there on those blocking days, be able to catch up with everyone, and get a feel for what the dances are going to be like. And then the same thing for Tuesdays as well. I’m trying to be there the majority of the dance on Tuesday to get a feel for the sense of the ballroom when people are getting started. I think it’s just good to have a finger on that pulse before those dances come up, and then we’re shooting the podcast majority on Tuesdays after the show because we’re trying to get the reactions and what happens in real time. And then also it’s going to get to the point where we start talking to the eliminated couples, and we have to be there and available when that time comes.

You obviously have the perspective of someone who’s competed and won the show, but does watching and observing for the podcast make you look at the show differently now?

Graziadei: I definitely look at it with a different lens. After being on the show, it’s helpful to understand and relate to what the celebrities are going through, in terms of, for me, personally, how different it is. It’s funny. Sometimes I’m like, “Man, I wish I were just dancing.” It’s so exciting to see the energy in the ballroom and how excited all the celebrities are. And per usual, this is another one of those seasons that is a lot of great talent, but there’s a lot of great camaraderie. The different lens, for me, really is just an understanding of how difficult it is and trying to find a way to show how amazing the show is. In this podcast, we’re also touching on a lot of different things besides just the competition and what happens from week to week. We really want to start going and uncovering and talking about those things that people don’t see unless you have been on the show, or unless you go to a live show, whether that’s how the production crew works, how the stage managers work, everything from hair and makeup to costumes, there’s so many moving parts of this show that you have to be a pretty die hard fan to know about. And even the die-hard fans probably don’t get to see and uncover all those things. There’s a lot going into what we’re trying to do on the podcast. That’s probably one of my favorite things is just trying to shed light on how amazing these people are that really make up the show.

Danielle Fishel spoke about her injury in her video package. What did you do to stay injury-free last season?

Graziadei: I’ll be the first to admit I had plenty of injuries. It’s one of those things that, if it’s really bad, it gets talked about. I feel for Danielle, because I think there isn’t one person I know who has been on the show who hasn’t gotten some injury. It could be something really serious, like what happened with Danielle, and to have a small hamstring tear this early is obviously devastating, and I hope it just gets better for her. I remember after Week 3, I injured my heel during a backflip and had to dance my tango on a bruised heel. I think I had a small fracture in my heel, which could have been something that was nagging from before, but it just happened with the show. Most people don’t know is how many hours you put in consistently, and you’ve just got to keep dancing. It’s one of those things that you can be hurting, and everyone has a little nagging pain, or something serious like Danielle, but you want to be able to put as much time and energy into your dance as you can, to feel confident in what’s coming into it. For me, in terms of prevention, it took that Week 3 drive for me to have an injury. I was 29 years old the time, so I wanted to be invincible still, but I was like, “I need to still take care of my body.” They have a great PT team, and the people who have the ability to help on the show are unbelievable. You can go in to try to be able to have work done whenever something’s hurting, and just the stretching every single time before practice, and trying to make sure that you’re taking care of your body, you’re giving it rest, you’re icing, you’re elevating all those fun things from my heel to my shoulder to I think I had a little bit of a nagging knee pain at one point. I think the ones you see on the show are the ones that really get to the point that they have to adjust. It’s something that it’s obvious that there’s something that’s wrong, so they have to make a part of the story. People don’t know half the injuries that happen on the show, but it’s nice to highlight sometimes how hard it is. I give major props to Danielle for being able to push through and do as amazing as she did in the dance.

Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson on 'Dancing With the Stars'

Eric McCandless / Disney

Was there anybody in these first two weeks who just took you by surprise?

Graziadei: I mean, how long do you have? I feel like this whole cast is unbelievable. Obviously, everyone has some type of dance background in a lot of ways. Out of this crew, there’s people that have danced back early on their life and have taken a long break. There’s people that have have zero dance experience whatsoever. I think I would say the two biggest surprises for me, and I shouldn’t say surprises because I think all the others are so talented, but one in particular was Lauren [Jauregui] in the first two dances. She’s a beautiful dancer, and I knew she was going to be a beautiful dancer, but I’m more amazed at how effortless she makes it look. I think, especially with the new style of the ballroom, how she’s moving across the dance floor and how elegant she’s been is so spectacular and something that I’m really amazed by in the first two dances because she’s done two dances where she’s had to be in frame, and she’s had to work with Brandon [Armstrong] to move across the floor. Obviously, everyone was blown away by Robert Irwin in Week 1, with the fact that him having no dance experience and looked as good as he did in his drive was unbelievable. That was such a dance that fit him, and props to Witney [Carson] for getting him ready in such a short period of time and for having him look the way he did. Dylan Efron is another where you can tell how much energy and effort he’s putting into it, and how he’s improved from Week 1 to Week 2 already is amazing. But if I’m being honest, I could go through each one of the cast and tell you how surprised I am by how strong they are. I just see the competition getting tougher.

You’re hosting this podcast, and you’ve said you want to continue to be in the hosting space. If somebody got sick or something, as we saw with Carrie Ann Inaba during premiere week, if they called you and asked you to guest cohost, would you do it?

Graziadei: I mean, right now, I’m open to any opportunity that would come my way. Obviously, I’m hoping that the people who are there are in good health and stay in the position that they’re doing because they’re doing such an amazing job. The judges and the hosts, with Alfonso [Ribeiro], Julianne [Hough], Carrie Ann, Bruno [Tonioli], and Derek [Hough], they’re the heart of the show from week to week. I’ve actually really enjoyed, on my side, being able to learn from them and to talk to them and see how they operate being on this side now. I’m definitely taking notes. I’m definitely holding on to what I can so I can learn. I’m just impressed at what they do every day. I’m so grateful to be in this hosting position right now in the podcast space to build this skill. If an opportunity arises at some point down the line, I will always be open to it, especially if they think of me and they think I’m able and willing to do it. That would be an honor. But right now, I’m just in that process of trying to learn and take it in each day.

Exclusive: Many Filmmakers Are Unaware That I Am a Telugu Girl: Niharika NM

by jummy84 September 30, 2025
written by jummy84

Meeting Niharika NM is like being in an explosion of positive energy. Her breezy smile adds to the freshness, and the positivity extends to her work. Mithra Mandali, an upcoming Telugu film directed by Vijayender S, might be her debut vehicle in showbiz, but she’s already a social media star commanding a huge following. In fact, one of the reasons filmmakers cast her was because of her expressive side and the quirky videos she creates. To encapsulate, Niharika is a fresh twist to the archetypal or actresses coming from social media patronage.

Showbiz wasn’t a calculated move

Although Niharika is constantly flooded with film scripts, Mithra Mandali is the first story she heard two years ago. She gives us a backstory of how it all happened. “The director thought I was an NRI and he got a translator alongside to narrate the story to me in English,” she laughs off. “I told him that I am a Telugu girl, much to his surprise. He then started narrating the story in Telugu, and after five minutes he switched back to English. I had to interrupt him again reminding him that I know Telugu. Many filmmakers don’t know that I come from a Telugu background.”

According to her, she was in splits throughout the story narration. The quirkiness, versatility and a layered-character was the clincher for her, and she couldn’t have asked for a better debut. Ask Niharika whether acting is a natural progression from social media, she replies that getting into showbiz wasn’t a calculated move. “The character in Mithra Mandali was like an extension of her personality. I like the dual nature of my character and it’s one of the roles I like to play on screen.”

Being on film sets is liberating

Niharika has a film degree. Before making her film debut, she also hosted television shows. Although she’s not new to the camera, being on the sets was a touch nervous, initially. “That’s because my wildest dream that I haven’t dreamt of came true, so it was overwhelming. Acting in front of 100’s of people on the sets was edgy. But after I started to enjoy the process of filmmaking my respect for the craft grew.”

Youtube CuZW3aohm6c

As a social media star, Niharika creates her own content and connects to the audiences in her usual typical humorous style. She is her own boss. But on the film sets, she has to follow the director’s vision. Did that change the way she is? “That’s the biggest difference I had to adapt to. When I create content on social media, I am everything. But when I saw so many people on the sets and the kind of efforts that go into filmmaking, it was truly liberating.”

Niharika was born in Chennai and raised in Bengaluru; she is pursuing MBA and lives in Mumbai. But her parents are from Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh). Ask her how it’s like making her film debut in her own mother tongue, she shares, ‘very exciting.’ “I have done several comic stuff on social media, and the film is a comic caper too. So, I felt my character was natural and not different from who I am. It didn’t feel out of touch.” Mithra Mandali is a confusion comedy produced by Kalyan Manthina, Bhanu Pratapa and Dr Vijayender Reddy Teegala is slated for release on October 16. She describes the film as a light-hearted narrative that expounds friendship and the extent one can go for love.

As a social media star, Niharika received a lot of attention from the audiences. But as an actress, she says life is interesting. The number of people she sees and talks to on the sets daily is crazy. “I am yet to figure out how to describe life but I want to do well. I want to make filmmakers proud for choosing me, so yes, there’s pressure to perform and seek validation.”

‘My guy should be the exact opposite’

The actress enjoyed the transformative journey on the film sets — from being a social media star to an actress. Describing the metamorphosis as ‘insightful,’ Niharika points out how she understood the technical aspects of filmmaking. “As an actor, I had to focus on one thing. But I also realized how significant are other aspects that go into facing the camera like Lightning, etc.”

For someone who is new to the industry, Niharika is trying to adjust to the dynamics of showbiz— chaotic schedules, uncertain itineraries, etc. “It’s definitely a challenge to navigate. Earlier I used to be disappointed with the inconvenience, now I realise the magnitude of work the crew has to put in.” But having got so much love and support on social media, what is she looking forward to in her film stint? “Even if I get 10 percent of that love, I will be the happiest. I only hope the audiences continue to support my efforts.”

Away from arch lights…most of the comments in her videos are in praise of her beauty and of course, love proposals too. While many guys chase Niharika, we ask what’s her turn on in a man? “A guy who is exactly opposite of me,” she smiles. “I want the guy to be calm and composed. And doesn’t that make for a great balance,” she signs off with a grin.

Is Donna Murphy Leaving ‘Brilliant Minds’? Boss Explains Muriel’s Decision, Talks Wolf and Josh Romance (Exclusive)

by jummy84 September 30, 2025
written by jummy84

[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for Brilliant Minds Season 2 Episode 2 “The Contestant.”]

Brilliant Minds isn’t about to say goodbye to Donna Murphy, right?! Especially not so soon after Wolf’s (Zachary Quinto) father left? Muriel does step down as CMO in the latest episode, but she and Wolf also discuss that now she’ll just be his mom, not his boss. That should make for some good television since those two are so great in scenes together.

Also in “The Contestant,” Carol (Tamberla Perry) successfully fights for her job, helped by Muriel, saying she told her to keep treating Alison, the woman with whom her husband was having the affair. Plus, it looks like Wolf and Josh (Teddy Sears) will be getting back on track when they go out for drinks, but then the latter pulls away when the former kisses him. He can be his friend, but that’s it, for now. And a new flashforward reveals that Carol is at Wolf’s side when he signs himself into Amelia’s (Bellamy Young) Hudson Oaks psychiatric facility.

Below, showrunner Michael Grassi breaks down this episode, reveals if Donna Murphy is going anywhere, talks Wolf and Josh’s moment, offers more information about the flashforwards, and much more.

Muriel steps down as CMO. Is Donna still a series regular?

Michael Grassi: Donna is still very much a part of the show, and we’ll be seeing more of her very soon.

I feel like that means we’ll be getting a lot more of the mother-son relationship. But can she step away from the hospital when her son works there as much as she should?

Good question. So, we’ll definitely be seeing more of Muriel in the first half of the season and even later, but I think that relationship is going to shift a little. But I think we’ve seen so much growth in the Wolf-Muriel relationship, and I love Zach and Donna on screen together so much. Some of my favorite scenes are them. We’ve seen them grow, and we’ve seen Wolf appreciate everything his mother did and even though it might’ve been hard for him growing up the way his mother was, sometimes I think he sees that she was really trying to protect him and that it wasn’t even that she wanted to keep what dad did a secret, but it was what dad wanted and she was just trying to protect him in so many ways. And I think Wolf really sees that for the first time, and we see their relationship evolve, and you’re so right that post 202, we’re going to see a bit of a shift. It’s like, what does it look like when Muriel isn’t at Bronx General and when she catches up with her son? That new dynamic of just mother and not boss is something we haven’t gotten to see yet really on the show since he was a kid in the flashback. So, it’s going to be really fun.

When you said seeing the growth, I just thought about when he checked on her after hearing the end of her phone conversation. A moment like that at the beginning of the series almost would’ve been impossible to imagine.

Yeah, and I have to say, too, I love Tamberla and Donna together as well. That’s one of my favorite scenes in 202. I love it. It is just so good, and I love the mutual respect they have, and they have so much in common, but also, Wolf is their main thing in common. They also just love him so much, and he’s such a big part of their lives, so it’s just nice to see that connective tissue between them.

Yeah, then Muriel has that line that Wolf is going to need Carol, and the flashforward in this episode shows he does, with Carol by his side. So, are the flash forwards going to be a bit disjointed like that, where that one clearly took place before the premieres? Should we expect that, and then it’s going to be piecing it all together?

Correct. I think it’s going to be a bit of a puzzle that the audience is going to be putting together for sure. We’re going to see different parts of what those flashforwards are, jumping in time a little bit.

With these first two episodes, it’s easier to tell, but will there be moments where it’s questionable when something took place?

I don’t want to spoil it too much. You’ll see.

What can you say about the new CMO and that person’s dynamic with Oliver? He’s adjusting to someone who’s going to be his boss, who’s not his mom?

Yeah, I would say stay tuned.

The good news is Carol is back. First of all, thank you so much for the Carol and Josh scenes in this episode. They were great,

They’re so good together.

Pief Weyman/NBC

But there is now the question of who reported her, since it appears it wasn’t Alison. Can you confirm it wasn’t Alison? Because she could have reported her and still decided to speak up on her behalf.

I can confirm it wasn’t Alison. She went in and she told them that Carol saved her life and she meant it.

How is Carol going to go about trying to get that answer?

I think Carol’s going to be torn about the ethics of getting that answer. And is it something that she even should do because whoever reported her, was it their right to report her? So, I think we’re going to see Carol be tested a little bit throughout the season, and that question will loom and it will weigh on her. She has to be at work, and somebody around her reported her for this. We’re going to see how Dr. Carol Pierce navigates something like that as a psychiatrist, which is going to be great.

Is she going to be changing her approach to work at all because of what she just went through?

That’s something we’re going to continue to explore in Episode 203, which I’m so excited for you to see.

Oliver kisses Josh, trying to just get things back to where they were before Noah showed up. But I can’t help but think about Oliver not returning his “I’m falling for you” and you telling me that he would in his own unique way, which he hasn’t yet. So, does that play into where Oliver is when it comes to being ready to resume that relationship?

I think when Wolf kisses Josh in 202, it’s a bit of a moment where he’s trying to reset, but it’s also that he’s doing it in the wrong way because it’s like, “We haven’t even had the conversation, and you’re kissing me at drinks.” And Josh literally thought, “Oh, he’s asking me to drinks to be like, ‘Hey, I have to talk to you. My dad left again. It’s messed up.’” It’s just a little bit cart before the horse, and I think it’s just part of Wolf trying to cope with what happened, and it’s Josh being like, “Oh, this is messy.” And I think it further complicates things to be honest.

Josh says he can be his friend. Why did you want to slow them down, and what can you say about any hope for their romance after 202?

I think they had a bit of a quick start. I think they shot out of the can a little bit. I think they had that amazing kiss in Episode 107 last season, but it might’ve been premature. And I think ever since that kiss, they’ve been trying to navigate, “Who are we to each other? We clearly have feelings for each other. We also work together and disagree in a lot of stuff. And that’s really complicated.” And then Wolf did what he did in 113 because he was dealing with personal stuff and I think they have a lot to figure out and it’s going to be a ride between them. But I really do think that there’s love there and mutual respect, and I think we see that on screen between the two of them. I think Zach and Teddy are so good, and those are some of my favorite scenes. Their dynamic is going to shift in a big way very soon.

I might be getting a bit dark with this question, but Ericka (Ashleigh LaThrop) sleeps through her phone going off about the patient and Charlie (Brian Altemus) has that comment about taking it easy on the benzos. Did he dose her or is it just that he knows that she’s taking pills?

He knows that she’s taking pills. He saw her take pills.

So it was just that, we shouldn’t be wondering how far this guy’s going to go?

No, no, no, no, no. I love that you asked that though. That’s a whole other show. Maybe Season 3, maybe Season 3.

Are there any episodes coming up like the building collapse from Season 1?

We have some really dramatic cases this season. I’ll tease Episode 203 has an opening sequence that is one of my worst nightmares, and I think a lot of people’s worst nightmares. So I’m excited for people to see that. And we will have some bigger episodes this season for sure. And some unexpected events happen.

Sharing some deets about the big project, he revealed to Bollywood Bubble, “Yes, Luv Ranjana and I are producing together. Anuj Saini was my associate on multiple films. He’s the director of the film, so that film’s being produced by Luv Ranjan and Mentor Disciple Films, which is my company.”

Shashank revealed that Kunal Vaid, who is Luv’s brother-in-law, will be playing one of the lead roles. Alongside him, the film will introduce six newcomers to the industry. He further added, “His brother-in-law, Kunal Vaid, is starring in the film. There are 6 other actors in the film, all are newcomers. So we are launching 6 newcomers, maybe a couple of them have done one film or something like that. So it’s a big project.”

The film promises to be a light-hearted comedy focused on friendship and youth, a genre both Luv Ranjan and Shashank Khaitan are well known for. With a fresh cast and a strong team behind the scenes, the movie is shaping up to be an exciting new addition to Bollywood’s lineup. Fans can look forward to a blend of humour, heart, and a celebration of new talent in this upcoming project.

XngHan on U.S. Fansign Tour & Exclusive Photos

XngHan is nervously fidgeting with small rubber bands.

The singer and former member of K-pop boy group RIIZE arranges the ripped-up pieces of one into a smiley face: two straight eyes, a nose and dopey grin. Then, giving it an elastic halo, he points out the display to his manager like a kid seeking approval from a parent, laughing, before snapping back into business mode. For the better part of the past hour, the team has been sleepily standing by in an L.A. dance studio while students in the adjoining space pick up the choreography from his recently released solo debut, “Waste No Time” — an experience he’s going to cap by making a surprise cameo.

This U.S. trip, which consists of three “fan sign” events in New York, Dallas and Los Angeles, is about as far out of the soft-spoken 21-year-old’s comfort zone as it gets. After chatting one-on-one and signing albums during the meet-ups, he models for “photo time,” where fans seated inside the hotel ballroom yell out a string of hand-heart and cat-ear pose requests. (“It’s a pretty awkward time for him, but it’s pretty entertaining for us,” one of his reps quips.) Yet the overall tone is one of celebration, the lightness of coming out the other end of something.

“Seeing them in person is what made me happy,” XngHan (born Hong Seunghan) tells Billboard a couple of days later in early September. “I’m really shy, so I’d always [thought I] preferred talking to our fans online.” Back home, he’s used to playing the shrinking violet, he explains, “But here, I noticed our fans were even shyer than me. It really seemed like they wanted to say something, but they were so nervous that they weren’t able to say what they wanted to say.”

For good reason, emotions ran high. When XngHan was put on indefinite hiatus in 2o23, with his future as a K-pop idol basically becoming a giant question mark, fans in the West were particularly vocal supporters for his reinstatement, remaining relentlessly by his side. Even now, around the corner from the fan sign, the pink wall of SM Entertainment’s old Koreatown office has been plastered with uplifting messages directed at XngHan. (By the end of the month, a rainbow of sticky notes also went up near the company’s main HQ in Seoul; he left an individual reply to each and every one.)

“I received a lot of energy from the fans,” he reflects on the trip’s last day. “They were very sincere, so I thought that I would want to meet them again soon.” Below, the singer recounts highlights from the milestone fan sign tour he’d like to “leave a record of” and shares exclusive polaroids. Watch more moments here.

While the singer is now a soloist, he performs collectively as part of XngHan and Xoul with dancers Jang Yul and Gu Kyohong. They may not have accompanied him to the U.S., but the trio had a chance to travel together to SM Town Live in Tokyo earlier this year. His favorite part of hitting the road with them? “They eat really well,” he laughs. In the pair’s absence, XngHan has been doing the same, sampling the usual suspects in each city: In-N-Out, southern barbecue, pizza (pictured above). When in a new location, “I usually like challenging myself to eat the foods that are there,” he says, though he regrets not making it to BCD, a Korean tofu house in L.A. that serves spicy soup.

Travelling with a small crew this go-around, XngHan got to be more spontaneous. In New York, he went with the flow, sipping whisky in a West Village jazz bar and snapping photos of pop art at the Whitney. “But I have to say that it was the time I spent in L.A. that really left an impact on me,” he says. “Not only getting to see how people style themselves, but also getting a glimpse of life through their eyes. That free-spirited attitude.” These vibes weren’t only limited to the people he met. “There was a bunny in Dallas, just doing its own thing,” he recalls. “The tiniest, cutest bunny, but it looked so free, you know? Just munching on grass and hopping around.”

XngHan isn’t really one for crying; while he’s watched The Notebook at least 12 times, he claims to end each viewing with dry eyes. “I’m more so the one who consoles others,” he explains, a disposition that came in handy at the fan signs. “There was someone who told me that I had brought her a lot of comfort when she was going through a tough time in her life,” the singer says. “It really stuck with me because it was the first time [a fan had cried] in-person.” Because his signature mirrors a four-leaf clover, he feels like he’s sending off each person with a good luck charm of their own: “In a way, it’s me saying, ‘Have a great day that makes you smile!’”

When XngHan became a trainee at SM in seventh grade, “I thought I was going to learn all the K-pop dances,” he says. “But instead they taught me hip-hop choreography.” The dance novice started doing his own “research” on YouTube, which brought him to G-Dragon, the Super Bowl 50 halftime show with Beyoncé and Bruno Mars, and dance videos from Ian Eastwood, who XngHan linked up with while in Los Angeles. Later that same day, when he watched the class of dancers take on his single’s choreography, “It gave me a sense of euphoria,” he says. “I wanted to capture it all in that moment, leave a record of it somewhere to treasure and look back on.”
