Emraan Hashmi would give up on his diet for this succulent Delhi staple — recipe inside

by jummy84 October 30, 2025
written by jummy84

The true origins of the butter chicken may be contested enough to turn into a legal slip knot (literally). But for all contemporary practical purposes, the silken, succulent menu favourite has Delhi written all over it, much of the thanks for this going to the untouchable legacies of city hotspots like Gulati, Havemore and Moti Mahal to name a few.

Emraan Hashmi would ghost his diet for Delhi’s butter chicken — Chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s recipe (Photos: Instagram, Gulati)

Emraan Hashmi, who was recently in the capital to promote his upcoming film, Haq, also starring Yami Gautam, spilled a little secret. During the audience questions round for Stars In The City with Sonal Kalra, he admitted Delhi’s butter chicken to very much be the dish he’d cheat on his strict diet for.

If you’re looking to give him company in spirit, follow the recipe below.

Butter chicken

Ingredients: Boneless chicken (cut into 1/5 inch pieces) – 400gms, lemon juice – 1tbsp, Kashmiri red chilli powder – 1tsp, salt to taste, butter – 2tbsps; for the marinade — yoghurt 1/2 cup, ginger paste – 2tsps, garlic paste – 2tsps, Kashmiri red chilli powder – 1/2tsp, garam masala powder – 1/2tsp, salt to taste, mustard oil – 2tsps; for the makhni gravy — butter – 2tbps, green cardamoms – 2, cloves – 2, black peppercorns – 2 to 3, cinnamon – 1 inch, ginger paste – 1tsp, garlic paste – 1tsp, tomato puree – 1/2 cup, red chilli powder – 1/2tsp, salt to taste, sugar/honey – 2tbsps, kasoori methi – 1/2tsp, fresh cream – 1/2 cup

Method: Massage the chicken pieces with the lemon juice, chilli powder and salt and refrigerate for half an hour. Hang the curd in a muslin cloth for 10 to 15 minutes as you mix all the ingredients for the marinade. Massage this onto the chicken pieces and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours. Once the meat is done marinating, pre-heat the oven to 200C and pop the pieces onto skewers. Cook this for 10 to 12 minutes followed by a generous basting of butter. Cook for 2 more minutes and take off heat.

For the makhni gravy, heat generous amounts of butter in a non-stick pan. Add all the spices and cook for 2 minutes; then go in with the ginger and garlic pastes and cook for 2 more minutes. Now add the tomato puree, red chilli powder, salt and half a cup of water. Bring this to a boil then drop the heat to a simmer for 10 minutes. Add the sugar or honey with the kasoori methi next, followed by the cooked chicken. Simmer for 5 more minutes then go in with the fresh cream in a generous swirl.

Serve piping hot with stretchy naan.

Tamannaah Bhatia’s fitness coach says this is why you can’t stick to your diet: ‘The only time you can’t do it is when…’

Do you often start a diet with the aim of being healthy and fit, but end up failing to follow through? You are not alone. Often, people struggle to maintain a diet, and mostly, as fitness coach Siddhartha Singh notes, it is because they do not prioritise sustainability in their nutrition plans.

The only time when you can’t stick to a diet is when it is not sustainable. (Freepik)

In an Instagram video shared on October 29, the fitness coach, who has also trained actor Tamannaah Bhatia, shared the main reason why people struggle to stick to their diet.

‘The only time when you can’t stick to a diet is when…’

The video begins with Siddhartha relaying an anecdote about a client who struggled to adhere to a diet consistently. When asked why they could not stick to the plan, it was revealed that it only consisted of various juices, including orange juice in the morning, lauki (bottle gourd) juice in the afternoon, and karela (bitter gourd) juice in the evening.

The fitness coach confessed that he was spellbound after listening to his client’s diet plan. “I was like, ‘That’s it. That was your diet?’, and I said, ‘No wonder you could not stick to it. That’s not even food. That’s literally liquid’.”

So, why did her diet fail? According to the fitness coach, diets fail only when they are unrealistic, not sustainable, or overly restrictive, such as crash diets that eliminate entire food groups indefinitely.

He stressed, “The only time you cannot stick to a diet is when it is not sustainable, when it is a crash diet. Something like, ‘Let’s leave carbs’ or ‘Let’s not have sugar for the rest of our lives’…If it sounds like something that is not doable while saying it to 10 people, it is probably something you will not be able to do.”

Sustainability is the key. (Google Gemini)

‘Nothing is wrong with you…’

Furthermore, the fitness coach emphasised that nutrition should be something you can look at and tell yourself, “Hey, I can do this for the rest of my life.” Additionally, if you’ve established a solid nutrition plan, you’re in a good place.

He added, “But if it’s something like lauki juice, karela juice, and orange juice, and then nothing else, it is probably going to make you miserable, not make you stick to it.”

Siddhartha stressed that this will further lead to a toxic cycle where you will question yourself. “You’re going to be like, ‘Okay, I can’t stick to diets. There’s something wrong with me. Maybe it’s my metabolism.’ No, nothing is wrong with you. So, find a nutrition plan that’s structured, sustainable, and you’ll get amazing results in due time,” he added.

The singer also recounted going to see Justin Bieber when she was growing up and creating a chant in hopes of going backstage

Addison Rae stopped by The Tonight Show to perform a medley of “Diet Pepsi” and “New York.”

The pop singer took the late-night show’s stage in gold gown, offering an ethereal take on “Diet Pepsi,” the hit single she dropped last August. She then danced across the floor to a segment of “New York” before climbing onto host Jimmy Fallon‘s desk.

Rae also sat down with Fallon to discuss her debut album, Addison, and celebrating her 25th birthday. “I actually love aging,” she said. “I think aging is amazing. I’m like, ‘Oh yeah, everything just feels like it matters much less when you get older. Yeah, actually, anything goes.’ As long as I’m surviving, I’m good.”

The singer recalled going to see a Justin Bieber concert on one of her birthdays when she was growing up. “Just seeing him on stage, I was dying,” she said. “But also just like, ‘Wow, one day that’ll be me up there in the levitating heart.’” She added that she created a chant with her cousins to get Bieber’s attention: “We’ve got Bieber fever. It’s 102. And the only way to cure it is to go backstage with you.” She noted, “It didn’t work. Epic fail.”

Trending Stories

Rae released Addison in June. The album came a year after she first began teasing new music. Last June, she posted a video of her underwater as the then-unreleased track “Aquamarine” played over it. Lead single “Diet Pepsi” was dropped in August, with “Aquamarine” officially arriving a couple months later. Ahead of the album, she unveiled five total songs off the LP, all with their own videos.

The singer recently appeared in the trailer for Ryan Murphy’s Monster: The Ed Gein Story, playing one of the infamous murderer’s alleged victims. Premiering on Netflix today, The Ed Gein Story is the third installment of Murphy and Ian Brennan’s true crime anthology series, following seasons on Jeffrey Dahmer and the Menendez Brothers. Sons of Anarchy‘s Charlie Hunnam will star as Gein and Laurie Metcalf will portray his mother, with whom Gein shared a strangely close relationship. Rae is billed as playing Evelyn Hartley, a teen girl who went missing in 1953.

Struggling to lose weight after 30? Fitness coach Lars Meidell shares diet tips and smart strategies to shed pounds, burn fat, and stay healthy in your 30s.

Losing weight can feel tougher as you cross 30, with slower metabolism, busy schedules, and changing hormones making fitness a challenge. Fitness coach Lars Meidell shares in his September 18 Instagram post the most effective diet tips to help you shed pounds and stay healthy in your 30s and beyond. (Also read: Fitness coach says ‘I look and feel 10 years younger’, shares 10 anti-ageing foods he eats daily to stay youthful )

How do calories add up and cause weight gain over time

“This is 7,700 calories of chocolate,” Lars explains. “But there’s also 7,700 calories in 1kg of fat. This means you’d have to eat all of this chocolate on top of your maintenance calories to gain 1kg of fat. Doesn’t sound realistic to eat all of this in one day, does it?”

He adds, “So why is it that over time we gain weight even if we’re not eating huge amounts of food at once? The truth is, people get fat because calories add up gradually.”

Lars illustrates this with a simple example: “Here’s 550 calories worth of nuts, bread, and chocolate. If you just eat one of these portions on top of your maintenance calories for 14 days, you’ve gained 1kg of fat.”

What’s the key to losing stubborn fat

He advises, “You don’t have to cut out all the foods you love to live a healthy, happy, and sustainable life. But if you want to lose those stubborn love handles and achieve a toned, lean, flat stomach, you need to stop making mistakes like this.”

“To make it work, it’s crucial to know your daily calorie and protein goals, especially if you’re a man over 35. I’ve recorded a three-step guide showing how you can get the most effective nutrition plan,” concludes Lars.

A woman lost 18 kg by changing just one thing in her diet. She shares how this simple tweak made weight loss easier and more sustainable.

Weight loss journeys often feel overwhelming, but sometimes the simplest changes can lead to the biggest results. One woman named Reet Kaur managed to shed 18 kg after switching just 1 thing in her diet, and her transformation proves that consistency and small tweaks can truly pay off. (Also read: Woman who lost 72 kg with eating disorder and ADHD opens up about her weight loss secrets: ‘I stopped labelling food…’ )

How woman lost 18 kg by changing 1 thing in her diet

Reet shared in her September 17 Instagram post, “To lose weight, you need to be in a calorie deficit (you consume fewer calories than your body burns). But sticking to that deficit can be tough, especially when hunger strikes. Here’s the single change I made in my diet to make it easier, I started volume eating!”

She explained that volume eating is a strategy where you fill your plate with larger portions of low-calorie, high-volume foods, so you stay full without overshooting your calorie intake. This method, she says, helps with weight loss, fat loss, and overall satiety, without leaving you feeling deprived.

Instead of reaching for small portions of calorie-dense snacks like chips or chocolate, Reet suggests focusing on foods that are:

  • High in water content (fruits, veggies, soups)
  • Rich in fibre (whole grains, legumes)
  • Low in calories per gram (leafy greens, lean proteins)

“This allows you to eat more food for fewer calories, helping with hunger control and portion satisfaction,” Reet added.

Examples of volume-eating foods

1. Vegetables (High in fibre and water)

  • Leafy greens (spinach, lettuce, kale)
  • Cucumbers, zucchini, bell peppers
  • Cauliflower, broccoli, carrots
  • Mushrooms, tomatoes, eggplant

2. Fruits (Naturally sweet and hydrating)

  • Berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • Watermelon, oranges, apples
  • Pineapple, papaya, pomegranate

3. Lean proteins (Keeps you full longer)

  • Chicken breast, turkey, egg whites
  • Tofu, tempeh, cottage cheese
  • Shrimp, white fish, Greek yoghurt

4. Whole grains (Fibre-rich and satisfying)

  • Oatmeal, quinoa, brown rice
  • Whole wheat pasta, barley, bulgur
  • Popcorn (air-popped, without butter)

5. Low-calorie liquids and broths

  • Clear soups (vegetable, bone broth)
  • Herbal teas, infused water
  • Sparkling water with lemon

Cardiologist reveals high sodium diet may weaken heart’s ability to pump blood, suggests how to reverse the damage

by jummy84 September 15, 2025

Excess salt negatively impacts heart health. Typically, salt is associated with high blood pressure risks, but the dangers also extend to cardiovascular health. Dr Sameer Pagad, director of intervention cardiology at Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai, shared with HT Lifestyle in an interview that with excessive sodium or salt intake, there’s a higher risk of developing heart diseases.

ALSO READ: Cardiologist warns 6 hours of sleep isn’t enough, 4 ways it puts your heart at risk: High blood pressure, arrhythmia

The cardiologist pointed out that a high-sodium diet targets the heart’s muscle function, disturbing the ability to pump blood. How it happens, he explained, “Sodium is found to thicken the heart walls, causing a condition known as left ventricular hypertrophy. As the condition progresses, the heart finds it difficult to pump blood efficiently. The sodium-rich diet also alters the calcium levels in the heart cells, affecting their ability to contract and relax, dramatically increasing the chances of heart failure.”

How to reverse the ill effects of a high-sodium diet?

Now that you are aware of how high salt intake strains your heart, to the extent of affecting the heart’s main function, let’s see how you can reverse the ill effects of a sodium-rich diet if you have been on one for some time.

Dr Sameer Pagad recommended eating potassium-rich foods to reverse sodium’s effects. He said, “Eat potassium-rich foods, including vegetables such as spinach, amaranth, fenugreek, bottle gourd, pumpkin, etc. Also consume fruits like banana, guava, oranges or mosambi, pomegranate and papaya. Include pulses like moong, masoor, chana, and rajma in your diet.”

Along with this, for hydration, he suggested adding a glass of tender coconut water to your routine.

Now what about non-vegetarians? For them, the cardiologist recommended eating foods that contain Omega-3 fatty acids. Elaborating more about the sources, “Non-vegetarians should consume fish rich in omega-3 fats, which are considered to be anti-arrhythmic and cardioprotective. One to two meals a week can be inclusive of sardines, bangda, Indian salmon or raavas.”

All in all, the cardiologist advised to prioritise naturally available foods over supplements, and suggested personal consultation with a cardiologist or a dietician before changing or adding anything to your diet.

What is the safe limit for salt intake?

Even if you decide to add salt to your food for the purpose of taste, make sure it is within the safe limit. According to Dr Sameer Pagad, reducing even 1g of salt intake in your diet can substantially improve the blood pressure levels. He added, “If you want to keep your heart healthy, limit your sodium intake to approximately 2 g per day and reduce the chances of developing hypertension, arrhythmias, coronary events, stroke or heart failure.”

Maintaining low-salt intake along with eating potassium-rich foods helps to protect your cardiovascular health in the long run.

Saja Boys, 'Diet Pepsi,' 'Coca-Cola' Bubble Up in 2025

Saja Boys, ‘Diet Pepsi,’ ‘Coca-Cola’ Bubble Up in 2025

by jummy84 September 12, 2025
written by jummy84

This year finds artists quenching fans’ thirst for pop hits, literally.

On the latest, Sept. 20-dated Adult Alternative Airplay chart, St. Paul & the Broken Bones make a fizzy lift to No. 10 with “Sushi & Coca-Cola.” (It’s the act’s third top 10 on the tally and first since 2018.)

In February, Addison Rae earned her first top 10 on a Billboard radio chart — fittingly, Pop Airplay — with “Diet Pepsi.”

Meanwhile, Saja Boys’ addictive confection “Soda Pop,” from Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters, has spent the last four weeks bubbling in the Billboard Hot 100’s top 10, reaching No. 5.

A year after Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” became a buzzy smash, hitting No. 3 on the Hot 100, listeners’ musical tastes have segued to carbonated caffeinated treats.

Historically, other artists have had the moxie to make such hits.

In 1945, the Andrews Sisters enjoyed one of their biggest songs, the pre-rock era track “Rum and Coca-Cola.” (Coca-Cola hit the marketplace in 1886; notably, eight years before Billboard, whose own tag line in the 2000s was “Experience the Buzz.”)

The Beatles’ 1969 Hot 100 No. 1 “Come Together” includes Coca-Cola in its lyrics (though with a quite different accepted meaning).

Perhaps most famously, the New Seekers and the Hillside Singers poured concurrent hits on the Hot 100 in 1971-72 with “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing,” with their versions climbing to Nos. 7 and 13, respectively. The song originated as a beloved Coca-Cola jingle “Buy the World a Coke,” sung by the Hillside Singers.

In 1979, Mel Tillis’ “Coca Cola Cowboy” chugged to No. 1 on Hot Country Songs.

In 1988-89, R.E.M. uncapped an Alternative Airplay No. 1 with “Orange Crush” (also not just about the drink).

Britney Spears’ debut LP, 1999’s …Baby One More Time, which ruled the Billboard 200 for six weeks, begins with three hit singles — the Hot 100 No. 1 title cut, “(You Drive Me) Crazy” and “Sometimes” — before fans were further introduced to her with her own “Soda Pop.”

By 2023, EXO’s “Cream Soda” added a sweet vanilla flavor to the Billboard Global 200, Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and World Digital Song Sales charts.

Plus, “If You Could Only See” hit No. 1 on Mainstream Rock Airplay and the top 10 on Adult Pop Airplay in 1997, becoming the signature song for (who else?) Tonic.

All charts dated Sept. 20 will update Tuesday, Sept. 16, on Billboard.com.

It’s free Billboard charts month! Woman who lost 70+ kgs shares 7 things she’ll never do again for weight loss: ‘No more strict diet rules, just food…’

Losing weight can be a challenging journey, filled with trial and error, fad diets, and sometimes unhealthy shortcuts. Many people learn important lessons only after facing setbacks or unexpected results. A woman named Kate Daniel, who successfully lost over 70 kgs, shares in her Instagram post 7 things she will never do again for weight loss, offering valuable insights for anyone trying to shed pounds safely and sustainably. (Also read: Woman who lost 70+ kgs shares 5 daily habits that helped her lose weight and keep it off: ‘The real challenge was…’ )

Kate shares 7 things she’ll never so again on her weight loss journey.(Instagram/@bariatric_chic)

Kate opens up about her long struggle with weight loss. “I spent years stuck in the same cycle, starting a new diet every Monday, telling myself this time would be different, only to end up right back where I started. I tried everything, every diet, tracking every calorie, punishing myself with workouts, obsessing over the scale, and none of it worked long term,” she says.

She adds, “It wasn’t just about eating less, it was about relearning how to think about food, movement, and my body. Here are 7 things I’ll never do again and why it changed everything.”

Let’s take a look at her recommendations:

1. Stopped the ‘start over Monday’ mentality

Kate says, “One off meal doesn’t erase progress. Every choice is a chance to move forward, not a reason to restart. Letting go of all-or-nothing thinking changed everything.”

2. Ate to fuel, not deprive

She shares, “After bariatric surgery, it’s about giving my body what it needs, not punishing it. No more strict diet rules, just food that makes me feel good.”

3. Moved for strength, not punishment

According to Kate, “Movement became something I get to do, not have to do. It’s about feeling strong, energised, and capable, not just burning calories.”

4. Freed myself from scale

She explains, “The number doesn’t define me. I measure progress through energy, confidence, and how I feel in my body, not a fluctuating number.”

5. Trusted hunger and fullness cues

Kate adds, “I stopped ignoring my body. No more eating because it’s ‘time’ or stopping because an app says so. I trust my own hunger and fullness signals.”

6. Took action despite overthinking

She says, “I used to wait for the perfect moment. Now, I act even when it’s messy and progress beats perfection every time.”

7. Embraced lifelong learning

Kate explains, “Weight loss isn’t a finish line. My body, mind, and needs keep evolving. Thriving means staying open, learning, and growing constantly.”

What is sustainable diet? Doctor shares 8 practical tips to stay healthy: Seasonal veggies, smart eating order and more

A sustainable diet is not restrictive, and instead supports long-term health by being realistic. Know how you can follow a sustainable diet.

There are a lot of diets trending lately that people are very quick to adopt. But one of the concerns with these quick-fix diets is the lack of longevity. Many get tired or give up midway because it feels too confining. Commonly, fad diets are too ambitious, cutting a number of different food groups, but the real solution lies in balance, moderation, and mindful choices that can be sustained in the long run. The way forward is adopting a diet which is enduring and, most importantly, realistic.

Dr Aparna Santhanam, dermatologist and holistic wellness coach, told HT Lifestyle that a sustainable diet helps to keep up with dieting for years as it’s not restrictive.

She explained, “A sustainable diet is not a short-lived food plan but a way of eating that you can enjoy and maintain for years. It focuses on balance, variety, and moderation, rather than rigid restrictions. The beauty of sustainable eating is that it not only protects long-term health but also makes daily meals more enjoyable, practical, and kind to the planet.”

Further, she highlighted how in the Indian food culture, where food is respected, sustainable eating is viewed as a way of building a natural habit to nourish the body.

Dr Santhanam shared 8 tips, demonstrating how to follow a sustainable diet:

1. Prioritise non-processed foods

Makhana is great for weight loss.(Pixabay)

  • Prioritise whole, minimally processed foods in the form of fresh fruits, vegetables, dals, and whole grains keep you fuller for longer.
  • For example, roasted chana or Makhana makes a far better snack swap nutritionally and sustainability-wise wise than a bag of store-bought potato chips.

2. Ensure smart eating order

Add darker greens to your salads. (Shutterstock)

  • Start meals with fibre-rich foods like salads or sautéed vegetables, then move to protein (dal, paneer, fish, eggs), and finish with carbs, which are largely grain-based in the Indian context.
  • This helps control sugar spikes, improves satiety, and keeps energy levels steady.

3. Adopt portion control

Serve your food in smaller plates. (Freepik)

  • Instead of cutting out favourite foods, enjoy them in smaller servings. Sharing a dessert at dinner is both healthier and more satisfying.
  • At home, use smaller plates and bowls that visually cue abundance.

4. Add more proteins

• Add more plant-based proteins.

  • Mix in dals, sprouts, beans, and tofu regularly. This balances nutrition while reducing dependence on heavy meats.

5. Eat local and seasonal produce

  • Choose what’s naturally available, like mangoes in summer and carrots in winter, for freshness, better taste, and higher nutrition.
  • It is vital to stay attuned to nature’s seasonal rhythms.

6. Reduce food waste creatively

You can make rolls out of leftover sabzi.(Adobe stock)

  • Yesterday’s dal can become dal paratha, or extra sabzi can be rolled into a whole-wheat wrap, and leftover rice can be made into cutlets with vegetables.
  • It’s fun and nourishing.

7. Stay hydrated wisely

Herbal teas like Chamomile and ginger tea have low-calorie content.(Pexels)

  • Replace sugary sodas with plain water.
  • The other option is light herbal teas for long-term metabolic health.

8. Make your plates balanced

  • An ideal Indian meal could look like this: start with a bowl of kachumber salad (fibre), followed by a serving of dal (plant protein and fibre), one dry sabzi like beans or bhindi (fibre + micronutrients), and a small portion of brown rice or jowar roti (complex carbs with additional fibre).
  • This mix ensures satiety, steady energy release, and a full spectrum of nutrients.

Honey has long been associated as a natural sweetener, with people looking at it as an alternative to sugar. But is honey all it is, the replacement friend you turn to when your besties aren’t around? Its health benefits could do more than just safely satisfy your sweet tooth.

Suvarna Sawant, chief dietitian and HoD, clinical nutrition and dietetics, Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai, told HT Lifestyle that honey has many benefits.

Talking about its antibacterial and wound-healing abilities, she elaborated, “Honey fights germs by pulling the water away from microbes by osmosis, it is naturally acidic (low pH), and when exposed to moisture, it releases small amounts of hydrogen peroxide, which is considered a mild disinfectant. Honey has been used as a dressing on burns, ulcers and difficult-to-heal wounds. “

Other than sharing unusual first-aid properties, honey also improves sore throat and boosts digestion. The dietician added, “Honey mixed with warm water and lemon is an ideal remedy for sore throats and cough. Likewise, honey is also a great source of energy, with one tablespoon offering about 64 calories. It is also beneficial for the gut bacteria.”

Honey can be included in your diet in many productive ways, and not just as a substitute, but as the hero ingredient, bringing in many benefits.

Suvarna listed out 6 ways to add honey easily to your meals:

  1. Stir 1 tsp honey into warm water with lemon (nimbu-honey paani) in the morning.
  • Honey + curd (dahi) bowl: Add fresh seasonal fruit (banana, chikoo, strawberries) for a quick snack.
  • On roti/chapati or toast at breakfast, you can also add a pinch of dalchini (cinnamon).
  • A teaspoon in warm milk at bedtime for a soothing finish to the day.
  • Mix a spoon into herbal chai/tulsi infusion or simple warm water before a workout for quick energy.
  • Lemon–honey gargle/tea when your throat feels scratchy (sip, don’t scald).

Which is better- raw or processed honey?

Now, since we are going down the rabbit hole of honey, from health benefits to meal options, let’s also take a closer look at the source of the honey, and which is better: raw or processed, for you.

The dietician weighed in on this and declared raw honey as healthy. “Raw honey is considered to be healthier as compared to processed honey. Its ability to fight off germs comes from a bee enzyme (glucose oxidase),” she added more about the advantage of raw honey.

Processed honey may not contain the antibacterial properties of raw honey, as Suvarna emphasised, “Due to heat and light, this enzyme and other bioactive compounds slowly degrade, so the processed, over-heated honey ends up losing most of its antibacterial ability and soothing effect. Processed honey is certainly better in taste and texture, but raw honey is comparatively superior for functional benefits.”

What does raw honey look like?

Further confirming this, a honey expert, Yusuf Galabhaiwala, Founder of HoneyAllDay, also shared with us that raw honey is better. Because it is not heated, its original taste and thickness remain intact.

Distinguishing between raw and processed honey, he said, “Raw honey may look cloudy or crystallise with time, but that’s completely normal. Those are signs that it hasn’t been processed. Processed honey is made to look perfect, clear, smooth, and pourable. But to achieve that, it’s heated and filtered heavily. In the process, it loses most of what makes honey special. The taste becomes flat, and the natural benefits are reduced.”

To be healthy, organic, raw honey is suitable, as it retains all the natural enzymes, nutrients, and antibacterial properties.
