Diddy Partially Wins Prison Request As Judge Allows Regional Placement & Substance Ab*se Program Consideration

Diddy’s request to serve his sentence at a specific New Jersey prison has been partly denied, though the judge is granting him some flexibility.

According to a court reporter, the newly filed documents reveal that Judge Arun Subramanian declined to recommend FCI Fort Dix by name, stating he “will recommend a facility in the geographic location of the defense’s choosing.” The judge also added that Diddy “be considered for admission to any available substance ab*se program.”

Earlier this week, Diddy’s attorney Teny Geragos asked that he be placed at Fort Dix to help him “address drug abuse issues” and “maximize family visitation and rehabilitative efforts.” His lawyer Mark Geragos warned that Diddy “will have a target on his back” in other facilities.

While the Bureau of Prisons has the final say, this ruling gives Diddy a chance to remain close to home while pursuing rehabilitation.

What are your thoughts on Diddy’s prison stint?

Diddy Prison Update As Trump Reacts To Presidential Pardon Talks

by jummy84 October 8, 2025
written by jummy84

Before Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was sentenced to prison last week, his legal team pulled out all the stops! The music mogul penned a heartfelt letter to Judge Arun Subramanian. Then, there were the letters his loved ones and industry peers sent—from his kids to Yung Miami. Hours before the sentencing, his team released an 11-minute documentary about his accomplishments. He even spoke up for himself in the courtroom for the first time since the case began. Their efforts might’ve moved the needle, but not enough! He still has to serve time while his lawyers fight to get him assigned to a specific prison. Most recently, President Donald Trump revealed that Diddy asked him for a presidential pardon.

What To Know About Diddy’s Sentence

As previously reported, Judge Subramanian sentenced Diddy to 50 months (4 years, 2 months) in prison with one year credited as time served. As a result, the producer will likely serve three or fewer years for two counts of transporting people across state lines for paid sexual escapades. After finishing his prison bid, Combs has to spend another five years on supervised release. Additionally, he must pay a $500,000 fine. His lawyers have already vowed to appeal the sentencing and its terms.

Sean Combs’ Lawyers Want Him In A New Jersey Prison

In the meantime, attorneys are fighting another battle: Diddy’s prison selection. Combs has been locked up at the Metro Detention Center in Brooklyn since his arrest in September 2024. He was denied bail at least three times while there, despite citing health and safety issues.

Now, his lawyers want to relocate him to a low-security federal prison in New Jersey. On Monday (October 6), the attorneys said that the NJ facility has a drug treatment program that can help Diddy stay clean. He revealed his sobriety in his appeal to the judge before sentencing.

In a new letter, Sean Combs’ lawyers urged Judge Subramanian to “strongly recommend” that the federal Bureau of Prisons place Combs at FCI Fort Dix. Judges often make recommendations about where inmates should serve time. However, it’s up to the Bureau of Prisons to decide. The agency has said those decisions are based on several factors, including the severity of the conviction, the required security level, and an inmate’s programming needs. The prison, which has just under 3,900 inmates, is on the grounds of the joint military base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.

FCI Fort Dix is one of several dozen federal prisons with a residential drug treatment program. His lawyer, Teny Geragos, said the program will allow Combs “to address drug abuse issues and to maximize family visitation and rehabilitative efforts.”

Subramanian has not yet approved or denied the request to recommend placement at FCI Fort Dix. Over the years, the New Jersey prison has been home to several high-profile inmates. That list includes reputed mobsters, drug traffickers, corrupt politicians, and ‘Pharma Bro’ Martin Shkreli.

Donald Trump Claims Diddy Asked For A Presidential Pardon

While his attorneys duke it out in court, Sean Combs is allegedly calling in favors! On Monday (October 6), President Donald Trump told reporters that Diddy had asked him for a presidential pardon. Trump, referring to Diddy by the nickname ‘Puff Daddy,’ did not say if he would grant the request. He also didn’t clarify when exactly Sean Combs asked for a pardon.

Diddy aside, since starting his second term in January, Trump has issued a presidential pardon or clemency to at least 1,600 people. This isn’t the president’s first comment on Combs and his case this year. In August, he responded to a Newsmax reporter who asked about Diddy, Rep. George Santos, and Jeffrey Epstein’s partner-in-crime, Ghislaine Maxwell.

“Well, he was essentially, I guess sort of, half-innocent. I don’t know what they do; he’s still in jail or something. He was celebrating a victory but I guess it wasn’t as good of a victory,” Trump previously said about Diddy.

Attorneys Seek to Withdraw From Shocking Lawsuit Claiming Diddy, Odell Beckham Jr. & Druski Were Part of Sex-Trafficking Scheme

The attorneys representing the woman suing Sean “Diddy” Combs, Odell Beckham Jr., and comedian Druski are now asking to withdraw from the case entirely, citing a total breakdown in communication with their client.

According to the new motion filed in federal court in the Northern District of California, both lawyers said “irreconcilable differences” have made continued representation “unreasonably difficult.” They’re requesting permission to be relieved of all duties in the matter, saying the working relationship has “completely deteriorated.”

The case, originally filed in early 2024, accuses the defendants of a series of shocking acts — including alleged sex trafficking, drugging, and sexual assault. In her complaint, the unnamed plaintiff claims she was transported across state lines, supplied with drugs, and assaulted during parties tied to Diddy’s alleged network of associates. The filing also names Beckham and Druski as participants or witnesses in related alleged misconduct.

All defendants have denied wrongdoing, calling the lawsuit “false and defamatory.”

Now, with both of her attorneys moving to exit the case, it’s unclear whether the plaintiff will secure new representation or continue on her own. Legal experts note that if the court approves the withdrawal, the case could be delayed or even dismissed if she fails to obtain counsel.

The motion marks another twist in a case already drawing intense attention for its explosive celebrity connections and disturbing accusations.

Diddy wants to make sure he’s comfortable behind bars!

His legal team has requested that he be transferred to a New Jersey facility, asking Judge Arun Subramanian to recommend FCI Fort Dix. In a letter filed by his lawyers, they argued the prison is best suited to help the “Last Night” performer “address dr*g ab*se issues” and support “family visitation and rehabilitative efforts.”

While the judge can weigh in, it is ultimately up to the Bureau of Prisons to decide where Diddy will serve the remainder of his 50-month sentence.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Sentenced to Over Four Years in Prison on Prostitution and Sex Trafficking Charge

by jummy84 October 4, 2025
written by jummy84

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has been sentenced to over four years in prison. He has been convicted on prostitution-related charges involving his two ex-girlfriends. While his attorney had argued for a sentence which would be a little over a year, the sentence was fixed to four years. As per the attorney, Diddy has already served 13 months in a New York jail. However, the prosecutors wanted 11 years. They cited his domestic violence history while putting in the argument.

The court also heard from Combs’ children. The prosecutors detailed the case to the judges. Towards the end of the hearing, Judge Arun Subramanian stated that a message needs to be sent with appropriate punishment.

Combs shared a statement before he was sentenced to 4 years in jail. Naming his two ex-girlfriends, Cassandra Ventura and “Jane” (pseudonym), he apologised to his victims. He said, “My actions were disgusting, shameful, and sick… I got lost in excess, I got lost in my ego.”

He also apologised to his mother and children. Diddy noted, “I’m so sorry. They deserved better.” Most of his children were in the courtroom when the hearing happened. He also begged the judge for a second chance. “I ask your honour for mercy. I beg your honour for mercy. I don’t have nobody to blame but myself. I know that I’ve learned my lesson,” Combs said.

For those unaware, the prosecutors accused Sean of creating a business empire to run a criminal enterprise of sex trafficking. He allegedly sex-trafficked women through “freak-offs”. He would allegedly also pay male escorts to have sex with his girlfriends, which he would film and watch. The prosecutors also noted that Combs forced the women to have unwanted intercourse, which involved physical violence and drugs.

Once the hearing was done and Combs was sentenced to 50 months of prison and a fine of 500,000 dollars, his attorney Marc Agnifilo stated that his legal team is also planning to appeal the decision.

Diddy Slammed for Booking Miami Speaking Gigs Right After Sentencing: “The Height of Hubris”

At Sean “Diddy” Combs’s October 3, 2025 sentencing hearing, prosecutors revealed that the music mogul had booked speaking engagements in Miami for the week following the court date — despite facing the possibility of more than a decade behind bars.

One prosecutor described Combs’s confidence in attending those events as “the height of hubris,” using the engagements to argue that he had not accepted responsibility for his crimes. Combs was convicted of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

The defense countered that Combs has shown remorse and argued for a reduced sentence, pointing to time he has already served. Prosecutors, however, pushed for more than 11 years, noting that his plans to appear in Miami reflected a lack of genuine accountability.

Combs has been held in federal detention since his September 2024 arrest, after a judge denied him bail. His sentencing hearing is currently underway.

Sean “Diddy” Combs Sentenced To 50 Months In Prison

by jummy84 October 4, 2025
written by jummy84

Bad Boy Records mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was sentenced to 50 months in jail today (Oct. 3) on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution — the only two charges still standing from his sex trafficking and racketeering trial this year.

Combs, who previously pled not guilty to all charges, faced a maximum of 10 years in prison on the prostitution counts.

The sentencing came after a lurid, eight-week trial involving testimony from Combs’ former partner, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, that he abused and assaulted her over a decade-plus period. The jury was shown a 2016 security camera video of Combs beating Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel hallway after she attempted to flee one of his sex-fueled “freak-off” parties.

Federal District Judge Arun Subramanian said “a substantial sentence must be given to send a message to abusers and victims alike that abuse against women is met with real accountability.”

“To Ms. Ventura, Jane, and the other victims here who came forward, I can only say — your families are proud of you and your children, when they’re old enough will be proud of you, and I am proud of you for telling the world what really happened,” Subramanian said.

Said Ventura attorney Doug Wigdon, “while nothing can undo the trauma caused by Combs, the sentence imposed today recognizes the impact of the serious offenses he committed. We are confident that with the support of her family and friends, Ms. Ventura will continue healing knowing that her bravery and fortitude have been an inspiration to so many.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs Sentenced After Prostitution Conviction

by jummy84 October 4, 2025
written by jummy84

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sentenced to 50 months, or just over four years, in prison following his conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, CNN reports.

The sentence was handed down Friday (Oct. 3) in a New York City courtroom by Judge Arun Subramanian. He also imposed a $500,000 fine against Combs, the maximum fine he can order.

Ahead of sentencing, Judge Subramanian explained that he would consider the “victims” involved — including singer Cassie and various male prostitutes — as well as Diddy’s remorse level and behavior after being acquitted of his more serious charges of racketeering and sex trafficking. He also expressed his support of a pre-sentencing report suggesting Combs be sentenced to 70-87 months, or just under six years to just over seven years.

The Bad Boy Records founder’s defense team also shared a sentimental video with the judge in hopes of securing a light sentence. It featured Combs speaking to New York City youth, engaging in charity work, and grieving the death of ex-girlfriend, Kim Porter. He also wrote a letter expressing his remorse for the incidents of domestic violence that were exposed during his trial.

“Over the past thirteen months, I have had to look in the mirror like never before. My pain became my teacher. My sadness was my motivator. I have to admit, my downfall was rooted in my selfishness. The scene and images of me assaulting Cassie play over and over in my head daily. I literally lost my mind. I was dead wrong for putting my hands on the woman that I loved. I’m sorry for that and always will be.”

While Puff appears to be apologetic, Cassie was sure to express her discomfort with the mogul possibly being released due to time served, calling him “the manipulator, the aggressor, the abuser, the trafficker” in her own statement to the judge. However, Combs still found support in his family and stars like producer Dallas Austin — who showed up to court for the sentencing — and Yung Miami, his ex who wrote a statement in support of the mogul.

Sean “Diddy” Combs Sentenced to More Than Four Years for Prostitution Charges

by jummy84 October 4, 2025
written by jummy84

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sentenced to 50 months in prison and pay a fine of $500,000, the maximum possible, after being found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. (That sentence adds up to just over four years, but the 14 months he has already served in prison will be deducted.) Today in Manhattan’s Federal District Court, U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian outlined his reasoning behind the substantial length, citing the need “to send a message to abusers and victims alike that exploitation and violence against women is met with real accountability.”

“The Court has to consider all of your history here. A history of good works can’t wash away the record in this case, which shows that you abused the power and control over the lives of women who you professed to love,” said Judge Subramanian. “The court is not assured that if released these crimes will not be committed again.”

“To Ms. Ventura and the other brave survivors that came forward, I want to say first: We heard you. I am proud of you for coming to the court to tell the world what really happened,” added Judge Subramanian after issuing the sentence. “Mr. Combs, you and your family are going to get through it… You will have a chance to show your children and the world what real accountability, change, and healing [can look like].”

Before the sentencing was determined, Diddy rose at the defense table to give a 12-minute statement, reports The New York Times. “One of the hardest things I’ve had to handle is having to be quiet, not being able to express how sorry I am for my actions,” said Diddy. He apologized to Cassie Ventura and her family “for any harm or hurt that I’ve caused her, emotionally or physically.” He also apologized to former girlfriend Jane, saying, “I brought you into my mess.” Diddy then apologized to all victims of domestic violence, his family, and his children, and referred to his conduct “disgusting, shameful, and sick.” “No matter what anybody says, I know that I’m truly sorry for it all,” he concluded.

Diddy Cries as His Children Beg Judge for Mercy at Sentencing

The courtroom grew emotional during Sean “Diddy” Combs’s October 3, 2025 sentencing hearing, as both the music mogul and his children cried while pleading for mercy.

His twin daughters, Jessie and D’Lila, openly wept as they addressed the judge. Jessie told the court, “He is still our dad, and we still need him present in our lives.” Her sister followed, voice breaking: “We cannot watch our baby sister grow up fatherless… Please, your honor, please give us the chance to rebuild together.”

As they spoke, Combs himself broke down, sobbing while listening to their appeals. His attorney, Nicole Westmoreland, also fought back tears as she described Combs as someone who had contributed to the Black community and worked to inspire others. The court also viewed a video highlighting his family moments, charitable efforts, and community work.

But prosecutors countered sharply, asking for more than 11 years in prison. They accused Combs of showing no true remorse, pointing to his decision to book speaking engagements in Miami the week after sentencing. One prosecutor called it “the height of hubris.”

Judge Arun Subramanian echoed their concerns, saying Combs had “challenged his factual guilt full-throatedly” and had not demonstrated genuine accountability.

Combs’s defense pushed for a sentence of no more than 14 months, citing the year he has already spent in detention since his September 2024 arrest, when he was denied bail. Story developing …
