Jennifer Lawrence (Finally) Makes Her Jonathan Anderson Dior Red Carpet Debut

by jummy84 October 20, 2025
written by jummy84

Jonathan Anderson’s inaugural Dior womenswear show wasn’t even three full weeks ago, but we’ve been waiting with bated breath to see Jennifer Lawrence hit the carpet in one of his spring 2026 designs.

While Lawrence has been a longtime Dior ambassador, the actor and her stylist, Jamie Mizrahi, have cast a wide sartorial net for her Die My Love press tour. At the San Sebastian Film Festival in late September, Lawrence doubled up on Phoebe Philo, wearing an oversized black T-shirt with a dramatic train and, later, an asymmetrical tobacco melange dress. And just a few days ago, for the 2025 BFI London Film Festival, she zhuzhed up a vintage black Armani Privé halter dress with her sculptural Glenn Spiro torque necklace.

Lo, at long last, Lawrence arrived at the 2025 Rome Film Festival dressed in Anderson’s vision of Dior. Wearing look 56, the actor hit the carpet in a dusty gray-brown pullover with black cuffs and a matching V-neck collar draped over her shoulders. Juxtaposing the more casual top, Lawerence wore a gauzy white polka-dot skirt with a black ribbon separating the two bubble tiers.

As for her footwear, Lawrence swapped the white open-toed heel from the runway for one of Anderson’s other shoe offerings. She played up the black details on the top and skirt with a black pointy-toe pump with a 3D feathered appliqué. She kept the rest of her accessories to a minimum, opting for small hoop earrings and a Longines PrimaLuna silver watch.

Akshay Kumar’s Niece Naomika Saran To Make Her Bollywood Debut With Vedang Raina In Romantic Comedy! | Glamsham.com

Naomika Saran, daughter of Rinke Khanna and granddaughter of the late Rajesh Khanna, is ready to make her big entry into Bollywood with her awaited debut. As per reports, the young actress will enter the big screen with a romantic comedy produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films an outfit famous for producing new and youthful stories. Set to release on floors by mid-2026, the movie will feature Naomika acting alongside emerging talent Vedang Raina, who has been in the news recently for his role in Jigra.

Naomika’s debut has been the focus of whispers in the industry for months, particularly since she was seen at Maddock Films’ office on several occasions. Though she has avoided the media glare for the most part, sources disclose that Naomika has worked hard to prepare herself for her debut. She has apparently been spending the last year getting rigorous acting and dance training to prepare herself with talent and confidence when she enters the industry.

Having been born into one of Bollywood’s most illustrious film dynasties, Naomika continues an illustrious family tradition. Her mother, Rinke Khanna, debuted in 1998 with Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. Her aunt, Twinkle Khanna, had a successful acting career before turning to writing and entrepreneurship. She is the niece of superstar Akshay Kumar, continuing to strengthen her ties within the business. Still, while her prestigious past might have prepared people for more, Naomika has maintained a low profile, further fueling the hype surrounding her debut.

A source close to the production revealed details about the pairing of Naomika and Vedang Raina. “Vedang and Naomika have great chemistry. When the team saw them together, it just clicked. Vedang is currently shooting for an Imtiaz Ali film and will move on to this project next,” the source said. Their pairing is expected to bring a youthful and fresh energy to the screen.

The untitled film will be directed by a first-timer Maddock Films’ protégé in keeping with Dinesh Vijan’s tradition of nurturing new talent and redefining romance for the next generation of cinema audiences. Maddock Films has a excellent track record of giving the world new-generation romantic comedies such as Luka Chuppi and Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, promising big things for Naomika’s launchpad.

Kylie Jenner says she wants to release an album after making music debut as King Kylie

Kylie Jenner says she’s interested in releasing an album.

  • READ MORE: Who Are Terror Jr, The Mysterious Pop Trio Rumoured To Be Fronted By Kylie Jenner?

The reality TV star made her official music debut earlier this week, teaming up with Terror Jr for a new song to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her beauty brand, Kylie Cosmetics.

Since the release of the track, Jenner has also set up profiles on Spotify and Apple Music as King Kylie – her famous moniker from the 2010s.

The track, ‘Fourth Strike’, sees Jenner make a cameo in the bridge of the track, singing: “One strike, two strike, let me get the mood right / I just wanna tell you, ‘I’m sorry’ / Touch me, baby, tell me I’m your baby. Write your name all over my body / Cross the line, I might do it again / Do it on purpose just to see how it ends / King Kylie.”

Now, in a new video discussing the song, Jenner has said that releasing music has always been her “dream”.

“I’ve been talking about this since I came out of the womb,” she said. “I wanted to be a pop star — or, I don’t know what I am. But I just never had the confidence.

“I always wanted to try to see if I can do it,” she continued. “The first recording session I was really nervous. I had, like three margaritas — or vodka sodas, actually.”

“I don’t think I’m like Adele or anything,” she added, before commenting on whether she’ll continue to make music. “I hope so. I would love to try … I don’t want it to end. And I think, why not? I think we should try. Let’s like, make an album.”

Anticipation for Jenner’s first real foray into music has been building since 2016, when she launched a campaign for a new range of lip glosses from her beauty brand, Kylie Cosmetics.

In the ad, she played a getaway driver in a Spring Breakers-style scenario, in which three gun-yielding young women cheat some gangsters out of a bag of money in the middle of the desert.

The commercial made headlines for the song used in the background, which was ‘3 Strikes’ – a debut single from a pop group called Terror Jr. At the time, there was little information about the band, leading fans to speculate that the singer was actually Jenner.

Later, it was revealed that the group was actually comprised of former The Cataracs band members David “Campa” Benjamin Singer-Vine, Lisa Vitale, and Felix Snow.

The new campaign sees the story continue, with Jenner in an interrogation room being grilled by detectives. “We’ve got you on multiple counts of being the baddest bitch on Earth, slaying 24/7, just being an all-around impressive young lady,” they tell her.

Later, she’s released, and her mother, Kris Jenner, is waiting to pick her up in a Rolls-Royce with a glove compartment full of the upcoming Kylie Cosmetics lip gloss launch.

It marks the first official music release from Jenner, though in 2016 she did make a brief cameo on the track ‘Beautiful Day’ from producer Burberry Perry.

Did You Know, Shah Rukh Khan’s Debut Show Fauji Has a Connection With Chunky Panday?

written by jummy84

Chunky Panday and Govinda are all set to appear in the next episode of Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle. And with these 90s icons on the show, the audience can only expect nostalgic stories, fun moments and crazy revelations. The promos of the episode give a glimpse of the topics they have touched upon. Out of many things the duo spoke about, one was Chunky recalling his age-old association and friendship with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Turns out, SRK’s debut show Fauji has a connection with Chunky.

He said, “Humare poore parivar mei koi actor bana nahi kabhi. (No one in our entire family ever became an actor) Haan mere uncle, mere mamaji jo they, he used to do character roles. (Yes, my uncle, my maternal uncle, used to do character roles) Unka naam tha, Col. Raj Kapoor. (His name was Col. Raj Kapoor) Unhone Fauji serial banayi Shah Rukh ke saath. (He made the Fauji serial with Shah Rukh)”

SRK began his acting career with the Doordarshan series Fauji, and this role helped him get noticed. And the rest is history. Shah Rukh and Chunky’s bond began when SRK moved to Mumbai to pursue acting. At that time, Chunky’s younger brother, Chikki Panday, became one of Shah Rukh’s first friends in the city. Chunky earlier spoke about how Shah Rukh and his wife, Gauri, would often visit their home, spending time watching video cassettes together.

Meanwhile, Chunky also spoke about how visiting Twinkle Khanna’s father, Rajesh Khanna’s, house is one of his fondest childhood memories. And Twinkle, too, recalled her long-standing connection with the actor. Govinda also spoke about his admiration for Rajesh Khanna and revealed how he got his iconic dance style.

The new episode of Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle will drop this Thursday, exclusively on Prime Video.

Kylie Jenner Makes Her Music Debut in ‘Fourth Strike’ With Terror Jr

by jummy84 October 14, 2025
written by jummy84

Kylie Jenner has officially entered the music scene as the breathy vocalist featured on a new single by Terror Jr called “Fourth Strike.” The single is a continuation of Terror Jr’s song “Three Strikes,” which was featured in an ad campaign for the launch of Kylie Cosmetics lip glosses nearly a decade ago.

To celebrate that milestone, Jenner was featured in “Fourth Strike” and sings a small snippet at the end of the song. “One strike, two strike, let me get the mood right,” Jenner sings and raps in the song’s bridge — “Do it on purpose just to see how it ends.” She ends her verse by whispering her purported artist name, “King Kylie.”

The song is used in a new commercial for Kylie Cosmetics that leans into the teal-tinted visuals of “King Kylie” — the edgy alter ego Jenner launched back in 2014, the same year she began to conceptualize her beauty company. Over the weekend, Jenner announced that she’s re-launching some of her signature Kylie Cosmetics products from that timeframe under the “King Kylie” banner.

In the commercial, Jenner shows off her acting chops, playing a prisoner who has been just been released. Her mother, Kris Jenner, picks her up in a black convertible, and the pair drive off into the sunset.

“This King Kylie Collection is truly for you!!!” Jenner wrote in an Instagram post. “You’re the reason my biggest cosmetic dreams came true, and I wouldn’t be here 10 years later! without your support.”

Terror Jr consists of singer Lisa Vitale and David “Campa” Benjamin Singer-Vine (Felix Snow left the group in late 2017). The first song that the group released was “Three Strikes,” which they debuted in the Kylie Cosmetics lip gloss commercial. At the time, few people new who Terror Jr were, and their image encouraged that approach as there were no faces or names attached to the music.

Several fans assumed Jenner was the main vocalist, though Jenner shut down the rumors via Snapchat, stating that she was not involved in the music. The group revealed their identities after the release of their debut EP, “Bop City,” in late 2016.

Fans will soon be seeing more of Jenner’s acting when she appears in Charli xcx‘s upcoming A24 film “The Moment.” Directed by frequent Charli collaborator Aidan Zamiri, “The Moment” stars Jenner, alongside Alexander Skarsgard, Rachel Sennott, Shygirl and more.

‘Not every star kid gets all on a platter’: Pranutan Bahl reveals facing rejection for 2 years before debut | Interview

by jummy84 October 13, 2025
written by jummy84

As the granddaughter of Nutan, grandniece of Tanuja, and daughter of Mohnish Bahl, actor Pranutan Bahl carries an acting legacy that most would be envious of. The actor is aware of her privileges and says coming from a film family has allowed her to be better prepared, but lists some pitfalls of being the proverbial insider, too. In a candid conversation with Hindustan Times, Pranutan talks about her acting journey and legacy.

Pranutan Bahl talks about her acting journey and career.

On early education in a film family

Pranutan made her acting debut opposite Zaheer Iqbal in the 2019 film Notebook. Talking about that beginning, she says, “Because I was surrounded by actors, what became easier for me was getting to know that it’s a tough industry. You learn that you’re going to be laden with lots of spells of no work. I had those warnings given to me. A lot of people who don’t have parents from the industry don’t get all that, and for them, that’s a harder emotional journey.”

Battling rejections

But Pranutan is quick to dismiss the notion that all ‘star kids’ have it easy in the film industry. “Every star kid does not get everything on a platter, and I am living proof of it. It’s not like just because I’m an actor’s kid, I have got things on a platter or my family is funding films from the back end,” she says.

The actor reveals that even though her first film was released in 2019, she had begun giving auditions as early as 2016. She recalls, “I didn’t have to deal with the emotional upheaval of being an actor in that sense that everything was not a shock to me. But, of course, that emotional journey is different. You have to deal with a lot of rejection. I started my auditions in 2016, and it was in 2018 that I got my first movie. And even after that, I continued to give auditions. I gave an audition just three days back.”

Pranutan says that a lot of the hardships of her journey depended upon her choices, wherein she wanted to get everything on her own terms. “I walked into auditions and just told my first name because I didn’t want people to draw the connection,” she says. “So, nobody knew I was from a film family. My theory behind this was, I don’t want to get a call back from a casting director because they know I’m Nutan’s granddaughter or Mohnish Bahl’s daughter. At that stage in my career, I needed to know that the callback I am getting is for my talent.”

Pranutan’s acting career

After the release of Notebook, Pranutan starred in Helmet and Amar Prem Ki Prem Kahani. The actor will next be seen in the Hindi-English bilingual film Coco & Nut. Pranutan has finished filming two other films – a cop drama and a thriller. They are also awaiting release.

The Vampire Lestat and Talamasca Debut New Footage at NYCC

by jummy84 October 11, 2025
written by jummy84

The casts and creative teams behind two Immortal Universe series — the third season of Interview with the Vampire and the upcoming Talamasca: The Secret Order — appeared together Friday night at New York Comic Con, where they revealed new footage for both shows, shared casting announcements, and teased what’s ahead in the Anne Rice adaptations.

In attendance on the convention’s main stage for Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat — retitled from Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire — were executive producers Mark Johnson and Hannah Moscovitch and cast members Sam Reid, Jacob Anderson, Eric Bogosian, Jennifer Ehle and Assad Zaman. Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice also executive produce the latest season of the AMC/AMC+ series, which is expected sometime in 2026.

On the Talamasca front, executive producer Johnson as well executive producer, director and writer John Lee Hancock and castmembers Nicholas Denton (Guy Anatole) and William Fichtner (Jasper) appeared on Friday night ahead of the new six-episode series’ Oct. 26 premiere. Talamasca is also executive-produced by Mark Lafferty, who co-showruns with Hancock. Additional EPs include Tom Williams and Christopher and Anne Rice.

The series follows Guy Anatole, a young man on the verge of graduating from law school, when he is approached by Helen (Elizabeth McGovern), a representative of the Talamasca, a secretive agency that monitors and protects humans from the supernatural world. The Talamasca has been tracking him since his childhood, and soon he falls headlong into a world of secret agents and immortal beings charged with maintaining a fragile balance with the mortal world. The cast also includes Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Celine Buckens, Jason Schwartzman and Bogosian reprising his Interview with the Vampire role as a crossover character.

Read on for more on what the cast and creative teams behind both AMC/AMC+ series teased during their respective portions of the New York Comic Con panel.

As part of the Talamasca portion of the event, a clip featuring Interview With the Vampire star Bogosian, who portrays journalist and author Daniel Molloy, was screened for fans alongside a larger discussion previewing the series and a special appearance by Bogosian.

During the rest of the conversation, the cast and creative team discussed how they adapted an aspect of Rice’s novels that didn’t have their own book. Johnson noted that the premise of the series — “agents whose job is basically to observe, to report and not to interfere, which seldom happens” felt like a good base for this show. Hancock leaned into his own interests in the spy genre and the work of John le Carré to help shape this take on Talamasca.

In terms of how the series invites Daniel Molloy into the narrative, Bogosian teased that it ties into the novel viewers learn he wrote at the end of Interview season two, “Guy finds that there is a piece of information in the book that he needs to know more about,” which explains a bit about the scene in which the duo connect in the new series. “When we shot it, we didn’t know each other before we did the scene. And that’s actually what happened in the scene. I was working with Nick, and I kept feeling Nick’s charisma and he kept pulling me toward his energy in a way that was so positive and so empathetic.”

In terms of who Guy is, “he’s got some ambition, but he also has something else going on. He’s got this disability. He’s heard voices for years, since he was a kid, and he’s always thought that that was something, that was a mental illness of sorts, so he’s heavily medicated himself, but he actually does find out that he has the mind reading. And that’s what begins to happen with Daniel Malloy in this scene, and I think that maybe gives him a little bit more leverage in all of it.”

In terms of Jasper, Fichtner noted that his character is misunderstood. “That was part of the joy of working on this. I’ve said it a million times. If it’s not on the page, it’s not on the stage, and what John Lee and the entire writers and Mark Lafferty, co-showrunner, put together was something that was so grounded in this world that it was a pleasure to discover who Jasper is,” he said. “It’s just wonderful to figure out what is driving this guy, which are very real things to him.”

After an exclusive clip featuring monsters known as “revenants,” the panelists discussed having to film late at night due to the nature of the show’s vampiric characters. “A lot of stories, Guy is interacting with vampires, and if you’re shooting with vampires, you have to shoot between a certain hour of nighttime. So we shoot 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. a lot of the time,” said Denton. “That’s a heavy hit, but I think it kind of brings us together. We get into that loopy stage where we’re kind of shooting, we’re not really sure what’s going on and everything feels kind of possible.”

While discussing the rest of the cast, Hancock noted that Helen “is prone to half-truths when necessary. Somebody that you might not trust” but that “Elizabeth also has such a maternal instinct. She has such a beautiful, soft face and her voice is — you want her to read every book to you in the car. So when you’ve got that mixed, do I trust her? It makes it really perilous for Guy.”

Bogosian noted his invitation into the latest series was wonderful. “It’s a pretty simple formula. We have these three different series that create a universe, so what you end up with is the sum of the three is greater than the three. You then start to have this. It just opens up the imagination that it goes off in so many different directions,” he said.

For Johnson, weaving the series together isn’t deliberate, as “all three of them on one hand couldn’t be more different. But they have themes and characters, and I think concerns all tied together.” But, he added, “We have a certain amount of shared actors who come and go, but we’re going to be very judicious about it and make sure that when Eric Bogosian shows up in another show that there’s a reason for it.”

The Vampire Lestat

As part of the NYCC panel, the series made several new casting announcements, including Sheila Atim (The Woman King) in the role of Akasha, Noah Reid (Schitt’s Creek) in the role of Larry, Ryan Kattner (Destroy All Neighbors) in the role of Salamander, Seamus Patterson (Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities) in the role of Alex and Sarah Swire (The Boys) in the role of TC. The panel also featured a new, extended look at The Vampire Lestat for the packed main stage appearance.

The panel kicked off with a question about why the show and its characters resonate so much, with Reid noting that it’s likely because what’s happening is “so fucked up.”

Speaking to where his character of Louis begins the season, Anderson said, “You can only own the night for so long. I feel like Louis is a really, really moving, beautiful place at the end of season two. That’s all real, and I think he’s found a sense of being in the present. However, I’m stealing this from Hannah as she said this earlier. You can put the dress on the wall, you can put the portrait on the wall, but ultimately, his child died, and that’s not something you just get over.”

In terms of where Daniel begins, Bogosian shared that he’s still acclimating. “It’s not easy. When you become a vampire at different stages in your life. In my case, it’s very late in life, so there’s a lot of Daniel as a human being in his struggles with it,” he said. “If you go all the way back to the very first moments of our series, Daniel’s kind of a grumpy guy hanging around his house in his socks watching TV, pissed off… and pissed off guys with power can be dangerous.”

For Armand, “He’s a bad daddy,” according to Moscovitch. “You know when a little kid has a stuffed animal when they’re very small, and they just drag it around for years and years, and it only has one eye for a while, and it’s all torn up? That’s his approach to Daniel,” Bogosian said. Added Zaman, “It’s tattered, it’s broken, but it’s mine.” At another point in the panel, Zaman noted that in terms of where Armand ends up in the upcoming season, the character’s focused on “his relationship with himself, and that informs how everyone else fits around it or doesn’t.”

In terms of how the rock-star setting changes things up, Johnson noted that “what Roland and Hannah and this cast have come in [and done] this season is so unpredictable and so surprising. On one hand, it makes total sense. These are the characters we know and we love, but it is the most — somebody just described as the most fucked-up — surprising. Reminds me of those movies that have just changed my way of looking at things.” He added it’s also “so wild and unexpected and jaw-dropping and funny and yes, like the first two, really romantic.”

Speaking to the arrival of Lestat’s mother, Gabriella, Ehle noted that “she kind of creates chaos. She kind of thrives in creating it. She’s had so little agency in her life, and she was married at 15 to somebody she didn’t choose. He was horrible, and she had no hope, but she had this boy, and she had her hopes in him in a really fucked up way. Several really fucked up ways.”

Later, while discussing what source material they used to put the latest season together, Moscovitch noted that the writing team was pulling from multiple books, including Merrick, The Vampire Armand, and The Queen of the Damned. “In terms of how we chose which pieces of The Vampire Lestat to use this season, because we’re running through the subjectivity of Lestat it has to do with what he wants to remember, what he’s willing to remember and then what memories are going to come for him, whether he likes it or not.”

Speaking after the extended look played in the room, Anderson spoke to Louis and Daniel’s relationship this season after the fallout from the book. “It’s interesting their dynamic this season because the book was released without Louis’ consent. I wish Louis had learned about the Cloud,” he joked. “I think it sets up a really interesting dynamic between them because ultimately Louis trusted Daniel, and Daniel trusted Louis, and Louis didn’t stop him from being killed and resurrected.”

During the panel, the cast and creative team teased a season that ultimately “reinvents [the characters] so completely, and the season itself is so radical because we’ve changed the lead character,” said Moscovitch during the panel. “So the whole story is run through a different perspective now.”
