Rolling Ray Reportedly Passes Away From Natural Causes 

Rolling Ray, born Raymond Harper, passed away from natural causes, his family confirmed to The Washington Post. Reports revealed that over the past year, Ray’s health had been declining while he battled pneumonia and a serious blood infection. According to the outlet, when he was around 15 months old, doctors diagnosed Ray with spinal muscular atrophy, a condition that affects muscle strength and movement. His family was told he might not live past childhood, but Ray proved them wrong and stood by his word that he was “that gurlll“. Despite his health challenges, he pushed through and continued to entertain millions of fans with his humor.

Ray passed away just two days before his 28th birthday in September, leaving behind an unforgettable mark on social media. Not only did he more than double his life expectancy, but he also built a legacy that continues to inspire countless supporters worldwide

According to Aahana, the threats began shortly after the incident, with many of Pawan Singh’s followers targeting her online. Despite the situation escalating, Aahana maintains that her words during the altercation were spoken in anger, driven by personal emotions and events that transpired on the show. “I didn’t regret what I said at the time because I felt it was justified. But some people misunderstood my words and even morphed videos were uploaded, which misrepresented what I actually said,” she clarified.

She also mentioned that the reality show’s producers had taken action to remove the altered footage from online platforms after she complained. In the interview, Aahana further expressed her shock at the kind of threats she had been receiving, stating, “Why am I getting such threats? I didn’t abuse anyone, nor did I say anything offensive. One contestant has a large fanbase, and now I am being threatened because of a misunderstanding.” She also questioned the state of the world, asking, “What kind of a century are we living in when I’m being targeted like this for merely speaking my mind?”

Aahana went on to emphasize that while she respects Pawan Singh, their relationship remains strained. This first premiered at the 2025 SXSW Film Festival earlier this year – where it won the Audience Award for Best Documentary. It’ll be streaming on HBO Max later this October. Armed Only With a Camera is a powerful tribute to a war photojournalist who risked everything on the front lines. On March 13th, 2022, doc filmmaker Brent Renaud was killed by Russian soldiers – the first American journalist to die while reporting on the war in Ukraine. His younger brother & collaborator, Craig Renaud, recovered Brent’s body and his final recordings from Ukraine and brought them back home to Arkansas. As Brent’s journey to his final resting place unfolds, the doc film chronicles the years he and his brother spent covering some of the world’s most dangerous conflicts as photojournalists. Brent’s journey home also serves as a window into what drove him as a journalist, and how he viewed the world through his lens. This film is dedicated to Brent and all journalists who use cameras to fight for peace. They’re more important than ever.

When asked if she regrets anything she did on Rise and Fall, Aahana Kumra said, “No, I think maine jo bhi show mein bola hai, gusse mein hi bola hoga. Lekin kyunki mujh par kuch cheezein beet rahi thi, toh mujhe uss waqt bolna jaayaz laga. It must not have been taken very nicely by a lot of people. But jab maine show ke baahar nikal kar dekha ki logon ne mere baare mein kya kaha hai, toh maine actually unke baare mein kuch aisa kaha hi nahi tha.”

She revealed watching YouTube and Social media reels. Aahana recalled, “Maine reels pe dekha hai, maine bahut YouTube videos dekhe hain. In fact, maine aise-aise videos dekhe hain jahan maine woh shabd use bhi nahi kiye the, aur woh daale gaye the YouTube par.”

She revealed that the makers of Rise and Fall created such content. The actress said, “Makers ne daale. Unhone woh videos daale aur phir meri un makers ke saath baat bhi hui. Kyunki woh log clickbaits ke liye daalte hain woh. Kuch cheezein sirf clickbait ke liye daali jaati hain. Aur jab main show se baahar nikli, then I had a lot of death threats and rpe threats. I had a lot of rpe threats. Maine screenshots bheje hain makers ko ki mujhe aise-aise threats mile hain. Toh aise threats mujhe kyu aa rahe hain? Maine toh aisi koi baat ki bhi nahi. Maine na kisi ko gaali di hai show mein.”

A family member and an LSU official confirmed the news on April 13, 2025, according to multiple outlets. Lacy was reportedly found dead on April 12 in Houston, Texas, one day before a grand jury was scheduled to review evidence related to Lacy’s previous hit-and-run arrest. Earlier this year, Lacy ran into legal trouble. According to ESPN, he was accused of being involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a 78-year-old man on December 17, 2024. Lacy turned himself into the authorities on January 12, 2025, was in jail for a brief time, then was released on a $151,000 bail.

A Louisiana State Police press release indicated that Lacy was allegedly driving a 2023 Dodge Charger vehicle on Highway 20 and “recklessly passed multiple vehicles at a high rate of speed by crossing the centerline and entering the northbound lane while in a designated no-passing zone.”

“As Lacy was illegally passing the other vehicles, the driver of a northbound pickup truck abruptly braked and swerved to the right to avoid a head-on collision with the approaching Dodge,” the police release read. “Traveling behind the pickup was a 2017 Kia Cadenza whose driver swerved left to avoid the oncoming Dodge Charger. As the Kia Cadenza took evasive action to avoid impact with the Dodge, it crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a southbound 2017 Kia Sorento.”

Louisiana State Police further alleged that Lacy drove around the crash site, then fled “without stopping to render aid, call emergency services, or report his involvement in the crash.” Lacy’s agent, Rocky Arceneaux, said that his client was “fully cooperating with the authorities,” per ESPN.

Marshall also urged everyone to leave speculation behind, as he himself is busy supporting his family emotionally through the news.

“This has been a tough time for my family as I am a father of 3 children,” Marshall, who goes by JMogul on TikTok, wrote in the comments of a video addressing the rumors. “I never received any emails. I had zero knowledge of anything and I don’t live in California. Also I work remotely 95% of the time and my job doesn’t require me to have much interaction with any of my clients/David as there are many others that work with him on a day to day capacity, not me. This news is tragic for so many and for her family. I hope the proper authorities get to the bottom of it soon.”

According to newly obtained records, Riverside County deputies made multiple visits to her home between 2022 and 2025. ABC News reports that many of the calls were marked as “FU,” short for “follow-up,” suggesting they weren’t emergency responses but rather recurring check-ins by law enforcement. The reason for those visits hasn’t been confirmed, but it adds another layer to the ongoing investigation.

No US release is set yet – expected sometime next spring. Based on the novel by Nick Cave with the same name as the series, the film is a bleak look at the life of a sex-addict traveling salesman who uses his door-to-door beauty products to meet women. Adapted from Nick Cave’s acclaimed novel, The Death of Bunny Munro is both a wild cautionary tale and a tender portrait of the relationship between father and son. A misogynistic middle-aged salesman takes his son on a road trip around Sussex after his wife’s suicide at the same time as a serial killer is inhabiting the area. Matt Smith stars as Bunny Munro, joined by Rafael Mathé as Bunny Junior, Sarah Greene, Johann Myers, Robert Glenister, and Alice Feetham. This looks very kooky and dark and seriously messed up – but I guess that’s the point of this strange story. Check out the first look.

On Tuesday, September 30, a new interview was published on the YouTube channel for ‘The Breakfast Club.’ Furthermore, the interview featured Chris Gotti as a guest, and about twenty-eight minutes into the sit-down, Chris mentioned Ashanti’s former fling with his late brother. To note, the pair were linked during the early 2000s, as previously reported by The Shade Room.

“All Irv did was yell how much he loved her — and the way he [was] talking about everything, you could tell, as a man, he loved that woman. He was heartbroken,” Chris told the radio hosts.

As the conversation continued, Loren LoRosa asked Chris if he and Ashanti have been able to talk since Irv’s passing. Furthermore, she noted hearing that Chris was upset at Ashanti’s February-released interview with Angie Martinez, where she spoke about where her relationship with Irv stood before his passing.

“I was upset because we haven’t spoke in person after Irv’ passing. Imagine that? And I promise you, I’m the reason she was Murda Inc… She knows it. For her not to call me after Irv’s passing — she text me. [But] that don’t feel right. Her mother. Tina. That don’t feel right,” Chris explained. “I did everything for them. Never did I get anything in return.”

Ultimately, Chris explained that Ashanti did not attend Irv’s funeral. He admitted that she sent flowers and sent him a text. However, he explained that he and his family would’ve appreciated a physical visit from the singer.

In it, she shared that Irv’s passing was “a lot to process.” Additionally, she shared that she “was really sad… it ended like this because there was a time when things were, like, amazing.” Furthermore, she noted that she wished she and Irv could’ve reconciled. She appeared to be referring to Irv publicly speaking about their sexual relationship, and his comments dissing her solo career.

In May, Chris made headlines for coming down on Ashanti himself, per The Shade Room.

Madonna is approaching the first anniversary of the death of her younger brother, Christopher Ciccone, who died this past October at the age of 63. At times, the singer’s relationship with her sibling was tumultuous, leading to periods during which they rarely spoke. During her first podcast appearance, on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose, Madonna details a spiritual encounter she had while in a medically-induced coma (during her four-day hospitalization in the ICU in June 2023 for a serious bacterial infection) that led to her reconnecting with Ciccone.

“I was almost there on the other side and I had a conscious moment and my mother appeared to me and she said, ‘Do you want to come with me?’ And I said, ‘No,’” Madonna said. “My assistant was in the room with me, but I was still unconscious, but she heard me say, ‘No.’ And then when I did eventually wake up, I realized that the ‘No’ was about me needing to forgive and make good with people that I still held grudges against.”

Soon after, Madonna wrote a song about her brother and another about forgiveness. The unreleased tracks, titled “Fragile” and “Forgive Yourself,” center around the idea of accountability and responsibility. “We have to forgive others but we also have to forgive ourselves and stop beating up on ourselves about things, choices we’ve made in the past that haven’t worked out for ourselves or other people,” she said.

She continued, “For my brother, I didn’t speak to him for years, years, and years. It was him being ill and reaching out to me and saying, ‘I need your help,’ and me having that moment like, ‘Am I going to help my enemy?’ That’s how it felt. And I just did. I felt so relieved. It was such a load off my back, such a weight that was removed, baggage that I could put down to finally be able to be in a room with him and holding his hand — even if he was dying — and saying, ‘I love you and I forgive you.’”

Days after the sudden and tragic passing of renowned singer Zubeen Garg, his longtime manager and close associate, Siddharth Sarma, has issued a heartfelt and detailed statement on Facebook. In an open letter, Siddharth addressed the growing public speculation surrounding the ownership of Zubeen’s vast music catalogue and the revenue generated from his artistic work.

Siddharth began by clarifying widespread misconceptions, particularly regarding who owns the rights to Zubeen’s music. He stated that the majority of Zubeen’s body of work — an estimated 38,000 songs — is owned by various music labels and production companies, not by Zubeen himself.

“Almost all of Zubeen da’s songs, even the biggest blockbusters, were done before I entered his life,” Siddharth wrote. “He often lamented how he was shortchanged — producers and labels earned crores, while he received only modest payments. This can be verified with those companies directly.”

In an effort to reclaim control over his creative output, Zubeen took significant steps in 2021 by launching his own music label, Zubeen Garg Music LLP . Siddharth Sarma was also a partner in the venture, with Zubeen holding a majority 60% stake.

However, Siddharth admitted that the LLP had not yet become a major source of income. “The LLP has generated only a few thousand rupees monthly so far. The entire amount remains untouched in the company account,” he wrote, adding, “I consider it my duty to ensure his family inherits his rightful share.”

Siddharth also addressed concerns about royalties. He clarified that any royalties Zubeen earned in his role as a composer or lyricist were deposited directly into Zubeen’s personal account. He further stated that these funds will now be transferred to Zubeen’s widow, Garima Garg, ensuring that the singer’s earnings remain within his family.

Zubeen Garg’s Untimely Death

Zubeen Garg, a beloved figure in Assamese and Indian music, passed away on September 19 while visiting Singapore for the North East Festival. He was found in critical condition in the sea by local authorities and was immediately taken to a hospital, where he was admitted to the ICU. Despite receiving intensive medical care, he later succumbed to his injuries.

Zubeen’s death has sent shockwaves across the country, particularly in Assam and the Northeastern region, where he was considered a cultural icon. Known for his genre-defying music, multilingual prowess, and relentless passion, Zubeen recorded more than 38,000 songs across various Indian languages during his illustrious career.

 

As the investigation into his death continues, tributes from fans, artists, politicians, and cultural figures have poured in, honouring his immense contribution to Indian music and culture. Many remember him not only as a prolific artist but as a voice that amplified the identity and issues of the Northeast.
