Watch Fifth Harmony Reunite at a Jonas Brothers Concert

by jummy84 September 1, 2025
written by jummy84

Fifth Harmony reunited last night to make a surprise guest appearance at a Jonas Brothers concert, validating longstanding rumors that the group was set to make a return. Camila Cabello, who left the band in 2016, was, as expected, not part of the reunion, but Normani, Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke, and Dinah Jane linked up to play “Worth It” and “Work From Home.” Watch fan footage of the whole appearance below, as well as a clip on Fifth Harmony’s social media.

Fifth Harmony went on hiatus in 2018, a few months after releasing their self-titled album. Normani, of course, embarked on what seemed to be a promising solo career—her debut album, Dopamine, arrived last year—and her bandmates Brooke and Jane sparked reunion hopes by collaborating on a cover of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” in 2023. The band apparently made progress on reunion talks this year, with dates mooted for 2026. Though that remains unconfirmed, the band has released merch reading “Where were you on August 31, 2025?” with a new Fifth Harmony logo, suggesting more activity may be imminent.

Fifth Harmony Reunites After 7 Years at Jonas Brothers Concert

by jummy84 September 1, 2025
written by jummy84

Fifth Harmony are back! On Sunday night, the iconic girl group reunited after seven years to join the Jonas Brothers onstage during their concert in Dallas.

Normani, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui — in matching black outfits — emerged from behind smoke to the tune of “Worth It,” for a choreography-filled comeback. The girls then transitioned into “Work From Home,” as the crowd watched in surprise.

Nick, Kevin, and Joe Jonas then took the stage to hug each of the group’s members. Fifth Harmony also debuted a new logo.

The four-piece reunion comes after two years of speculation that the group was considering getting back together, especially after their songs “Work From Home” and “All in My Head” saw huge resurgences on TikTok. (Rolling Stone shut down reunion rumors last year, but there has since been new speculation.)

Camila Cabello, who left the group in 2016, was missing from Sunday night’s performance. She wouldn’t have been able to attend regardless, as she had a solo show in Sydney, Australia, on Saturday evening.

Earlier in the day, the Fifth Harmony X account reactivated by posting “#FifthHarmonyFollowSpree.” Jane also shared an Instagram post alluding to the return, “The impossible is possible. Full of gratitude today.” The group’s website was also updated to say “coming soon.”

Most recently, Brooke, Jane, and Jauregui shared photos of themselves on a tropical vacation to celebrate Brooke’s 32nd birthday. (Jauregui later shared that Normani was busy with work and had to miss the trip.)

While Sunday night’s show is the first time all the members reunited since their indefinite hiatus in 2018, Brooke joined Jane onstage at her November 2024 show in Los Angeles to sing Fifth Harmony’s “Better Together.” The pair also recorded a Christmas duet.

Editor’s picks

“We hadn’t seen each other in five years, and it was like we didn’t ever leave,” Brooke told Rolling Stone in December 2023 when discussing their holiday collab.

“Music is very healing,” Jane added at the time. “Collaborating again and starting from scratch would be a very big healer as well. This planted the seed for us, I would say.”

The members of Fifth Harmony have been friendly with each other over the last few years. All of the group’s members (including Cabello) shared tributes for the 10th anniversary of the group’s formation in 2022, and came together to congratulate Normani for dropping her debut album last summer. Most recently, Cabello shared videos of herself dancing to Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home” with girl group Katseye, and said in December 2024 that she and Normani were “getting back” to feeling like when they were “really close.”

Fifth Harmony originally formed in 2012 on The X-Factor USA. The girl group dropped their debut album Reflection in 2015 (featuring songs like “Worth It” and “Sledgehammer”), and released their second LP, 7/27, following the massive success of “Work From Home,” in 2016. At the end of that same year, Cabello left the group.

As a four-piece, Fifth Harmony went on to release one more album, titled Fifth Harmony. They then announced an indefinite hiatus in 2018, and gave fans. a post-split video for their song “Don’t Say You Love Me,” which ended with each member exiting a door left open, alluding to the possibility of a return.

For their part, the Jonas Brothers kicked off their Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown Tour on Aug. 10 in New Jersey, and have brought out special guests at each show. During their Aug. 10 concert in New Jersey, the band brought out Demi Lovato for a Camp Rock reunion and Jesse McCartney for “Beautiful Soul.” Since then, they’ve welcomed All Time Low, JoJo, Hanson, and Russell Dickerson as guests at various shows.

Sunday night’s performance, which featured the 5H reunion, is one of five Jonas20 concerts that will stream live on Samsung TV Plus. The band’s concerts on Oct. 12 in Milwaukee, Oct. 26 in Orlando, and Nov. 9 in Buffalo, will also stream live on the platform.

Teenager Convicted in Terror Plot Against Taylor Swift Concert in Vienna

Teenager Convicted in Terror Plot Against Taylor Swift Concert in Vienna

by jummy84 August 27, 2025
written by jummy84

The 16-year-old who helped prepare a failed terrorist attack at a Taylor Swift concert in Vienna, Austria, last year has been convicted in Germany, reports the BBC. Mohamed A, a Syrian national living in Germany who was 14 at the time of the planned attack, made a full confession to the charges. He was given an 18-month suspended sentence under juvenile criminal law in Berlin court yesterday (August 26). Prosecutors claimed Mohamed A was radicalized by Islamic State terrorist group propaganda online when he helped the other two would-be attackers by translating bomb-building instructions from Arabic.

Concert organizers called off all three of Swift’s shows at Vienna’s Ernst-Happel-Stadion last August after police were informed of a credible threat. Nearly 200,000 people had been expected to attend the concerts. Ultimately, the plan was thwarted and nobody was harmed.

Police arrested three people in connection with the alleged terror plot. Main suspect Beran A, an Austrian man who was 19 at the time of his arrest, remains in custody and an investigation into his role is ongoing. (Investigators allege Beran A also planned to carry out an attack in Dubai in March 2024, notes the BBC.) The second suspect, who was 17 at the time of his arrest, has since been released without charge. Mohamed A was the third suspect, and while he could not be held in custody because of his status as a minor, he was charged by German prosecutors back in June.

“Having our Vienna shows cancelled was devastating. But I was also so grateful to the authorities because thanks to them, we were grieving concerts and not lives,” Swift said in an Instagram post after the reason for the Vienna tour dates’ cancellation became public knowledge. “Let me be very clear: I am not going to speak about something publicly if I think doing so might provoke those who would want to harm the fans who come to my shows. In cases like this one, ‘silence’ is actually showing restraint, and waiting to express yourself at a time when it’s right to. My priority was finishing our European tour safely, and it is with great relief that I can say we did that.”

Will Smith Accused Of Using AI Clips Of Crowd In Fake Concert Footage

Will Smith Accused Of Using AI Clips Of Crowd In Fake Concert Footage

by jummy84 August 26, 2025

Will Smith is facing backlash after fans accused him of using AI-generated footage in a recent Instagram post promoting his Based On A True Story Tour.

The video, shared on Aug. 12, shows Smith performing his motivational anthem “You Can Make It” in front of what appears to be a massive, adoring crowd, complete with waving signs and fans singing along.

In the clip, Smith is seen walking along the stage, eventually climbing a barricade as the camera pans to dozens of cheering concertgoers.

Many fans are holding signs, some featuring personal messages and tributes about how the star’s music and story have impacted their lives. Alongside the video, Smith captioned, “My favorite part of tour is seeing you all up close.”

However, viewers were quick to question the authenticity of the crowd, pointing out unnatural elements like extra fingers, distorted faces, and inconsistent hand shapes — hallmarks of generative AI content.

One skeptical user wrote, “Imagine using AI and generating a sign about Cancer. This is absolute [clown] behavior.” Another added, “An AI crowd being posted on the official page is maaaad embarrassing.”

A third fan quipped, “Fresh Prince of A.I. – The Bounce Back. This is awful,” while another chimed in,
“This use of AI is INSANE and downright sad.”

While the criticism mounted, others offered a more forgiving interpretation, suggesting the visual distortions could be the result of upscaling lower-resolution footage, rather than artificial generation.

Smith did not specify which show the footage came from, but it likely originates from one of his recent European stops — either Smukfest in Denmark on Aug. 7 or Dreambeach Festival in Almería, Spain on Aug. 9. As of now, Smith has not publicly addressed the accusations.

The renowned actor and rapper is currently nearing the end of the UK stretch of his tour, with upcoming shows in Manchester (Aug. 27), London (Aug. 28), Wolverhampton (Aug. 30), and Paris (Sept. 2).

Mastodon Honor Brent Hinds During Alaska Concert: Watch

by jummy84 August 23, 2025
written by jummy84

Mastodon paid tribute to their co-founder and former guitarist Brent Hinds during their show at Alaska State Fair in Palmer, Alaska, on Friday. It was their first performance since Hinds died on Wednesday at the age of 51.

“We lost somebody very special to us yesterday,” drummer Brann Dailor said of Hinds, who died in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday at the age of 51. “Brent Hinds, 25 years with us as our guitar player, one of the most creative, beautiful people that we’ve ever come across in this world, tragically left us. Very, very unfortunate.

“We loved him so, so, so very much. And we had the ups and downs of a 25-year relationship, you know what I mean? It’s not always perfect, it’s not always amazing, but we were brothers to the end,” he continued in his onstage tribute on behalf of the band, which he delivered at the end of their set as fan-filmed footage shows. “And we really loved each other and we made a lot, a lot of very beautiful music together. And I think that that’s gonna stand the test of time, evidenced by you people here tonight.”

“So we will continue to play Brent’s beautiful, beautiful music that he helped us make, that we formed this band together and traveled the world together, slept in a van together, laid our heads down on beds of fucking kitty litter, got way too drunk to remember anything the next day about a thousand, million times over and over again with the love that we shared and the beauty, all the audiences that we played for, all the stages we stepped on,” Dailor said.

“I don’t know. We’re just at a loss for words. We’re absolutely devastated and crushed to lose him and to be able to never have him back again. But you guys made it OK for us to come on stage and do this tonight. So that was for fucking Brent, OK? Thank you guys so much.”

He concluded: “Thank you for helping us get through that one, it was fucking tough for us. But you guys are fucking amazing, so thank you.”

Hinds co-founded the Grammy-winning group in 2000 with bassist Troy Sanders, guitarist Bill Kelliher, and drummer Dailor. In March, the band announced that they parted ways with the guitarist. Hinds later claimed he was kicked out of the band.

On Thursday, Mastodon said in a statement on social media that they were “in a state of unfathomable sadness and grief” over his death. “We are heartbroken, shocked, and still trying to process the loss of this creative force with whom we’ve shared so many triumphs, milestones, and the creation of music that has touched the hearts of so many.”
