Jania Meshell Responds To Dejounte Murray’s Claims

After Dejounte Murray accused her of prioritizing the club life over their relationship, Jania Meshell responded on Instagram, calling out his double standards and emotional neglect. She said it was unfair for him to criticize her when “it was ok for you to move to Vegas from April to September and have me and my kids on a plane every weekend just to visit you.” 

The influencer opened up about how the situation affected her mental health, thanking her grandmother for stepping in to help. She also addressed his parenting remarks, saying she was the one caring for both kids most of the time, “When have you ever had Ice by yourself? So please don’t talk about parenting.”

 Jania added that she “literally cried at dinner telling you how I felt, and did you care? No,” even calling him a narcissist. Despite everything, she reminded him that she supported him “at every game and event” and that she “actually loved” him, though she admitted, “when I was pregnant and after, I felt like you didn’t like me and you proved it.”

Jania Claps Back At Critics On X

While continuing to get her frustrations out about the relationship, Jania also took to X to clap back at critics who shared their opinions on her situation with Dejounte. She tweeted, “Y’all say, ‘Oh, he needs a girl like this and like that.’ GOOD! PLEASE send people his way, go for it. I hope it fulfills all your dreams.”

Jania went on to defend herself against claims that she’s always out partying, writing, “Mind you, I’ve only been out six times this year with my friends,” adding, “Any other time, I’m with my family, chilling in the house, so idk who said I be out ALL THE TIME, but that’s a lie.” She continued in a series of more clapbacks, telling critics they couldn’t tell her about a man she had a child with and calling it sad to see so many people more concerned about money than what she went through.

Folks gathered under The Shade Room’s post reacting to Jania’s side of the situation. Many mothers empathized with her, saying she deserves time for herself. Others criticized her, claiming she shouldn’t have lied. Some suggested she find hobbies outside of going to the club.
