Smino Talks Giving Back To St. Louis With City SC Merch Drop

by jummy84 October 11, 2025
written by jummy84

After St. Louis experienced devastating storms four months ago, Smino knew he had to act. The natural disasters were reportedly responsible for at least five deaths, with tens of thousands out of power and endless damage to business and residential properties. Today, the Gateway to the West continues to rebuild, and Smino’s latest drop is set to contribute financial support.

“I was on tour when my baby cousin called me scared bc it was a storm goin thru the north side of stl,” wrote the 34-year-old on Instagram. “I thought she was jus being a kid (she’s always been scared of storms) but the next day i found out that a tornado had ripped thru where i grew up at in STL . fast forward to now i got the amazin opportunity to collab with the homies at @stlcitysc on this amazing capsule to represent MY city STL the right way.”

Smino / St. Louis CITY SC

In collaboration with the St. Louis CITY SC soccer team, the musician has released a fashion-forward merchandise capsule, with 100% of proceeds benefiting The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis to support tornado relief efforts. The limited-edition drop features two shirt designs and two hoodie designs, available in various sizes and priced from $45 – $80.

“This partnership with Smino represents everything CITY SC stands for: authenticity, creativity, and community,” expressed Matt Sebek, CITY SC Chief Experience Officer. “Together, we’re proving that sports can intersect with culture in meaningful ways while also showing up for our city.”

Shop the collection while supplies last at the official website.

VIBE: Tell me about the inspiration behind the designs and how you landed on these specific items for this drop?

Smino: When I was doing it, I lived in L.A. Me and my homegirl, Ambi, are both from St. Louis, but we live in LA. I was like, how can I make something that feels like the crib as much as an STL fitted hat? That really represents us? I’m just trying to make something that really felt like St. Louis. I think my favorite piece is the one that says ‘city’ real big, and it’s like me behind it, and I got the soccer ball bandana on. I’ve been rocking with City for a couple of years now, doing a bunch of different things with the football club. Every time I work with them, they always try to keep the community forward. I just wanted to feel like I represent our relationship, plus the city.

How involved were you in the design process?

I was 100% involved. Ambi does all the graphic design. I don’t really do graphic design like that. She helped me bring things to life. The whole soccer field—one of my other favorite pieces besides the bandana—is obviously a good hero piece for the capsule. You can see the soccer field. You can see the scoreboard. You can see the city, and there are zeros on there. It represents Zero Fatigue, which is my collective. It was like a little Easter egg type vibe.

Smino / St. Louis CITY SC

You’re able to give back 100% of the proceeds. What is the importance of that for you?

It’s cool that people in the community really want to do something, and sports teams and different clubs want to help us out. I think utilizing my influence to make people come and support it more is even cool. They’re very aware of what’s going on in the city, so I really ride with them for that.

Who would you say are some of your style influences? I’m not going to stunt; I always used to want to look like my favorite action figures when I was a kid. I always liked silhouettes like Dragon Ball Z, the way their pants fit, Goku pants, and stuff like that. As far as designers go, I can list a million people, but I always think that I find my most inspo in like sh*t that really got nothing to do with the clothes. It’s more so just mood and energy that inspires me.

What do you think is something that is most overlooked about St. Louis?

I don’t think we get reported. First of all, I consider St. Louis like Babylon. Obviously, in Missouri, one of the last states to abolish slavery, it’s a lot of old ways in St. Louis. I think that stuff gets reported on a lot, but there’s so much progressiveness in the city. There are so many progressive, young, youthful people, rom art to community-type people. A lot of stuff is cooking and brewing right now in St. Louis, and it’s kind of unheard of.

Even me, just in my whole life or whatever at this big age, I’m like, damn, some of the stuff I’m seeing these kids doing. I wish that me and my homies could have gotten together and thought. I think the sense of community is a little more heightened than it used to be in St. Louis.

What can your fans expect from you for the rest of the year?

I’m about to drop a mixtape randomly.

I’ve got a lot going on. I’m in the midst of a bunch of things. I’ve been working on my cartoon show. It’s called Mad Dog. I got an album coming out next year. I got a clothing line I’m working on. Just a lot of Smino, a whole lot of Smino.

What To Wear To Austin City Limits Music Festival 2025

by jummy84 October 9, 2025
written by jummy84

I’ve never been much of a festival girlie. It’s not because I don’t love live music (I do); Between big crowds (I’m barely 5’2 and main stage GA is not the most short-girl-friendly situation), prolonged time in the sun, and expensive food and drinks (in this economy?!), I always resolved to a life of catching the action on social media from the safety of my couch. However, when T-Mobile invited me to experience Austin City Limits the magenta way, I jumped at the chance. It felt like kismet: I’ve been a T-Mobile girlie for years, and as a newly-minted Texan (I moved to Dallas during the summer), what could be more fun that getting to channel my inner cowgirl at the state’s biggest music festival?

Taylor Swift’s Dinner Photo in New York City

by jummy84 October 8, 2025
written by jummy84

The opening song on Taylor Swift‘s The Life of a Showgirl references the character Ophelia from William Shakespeare‘s Hamlet, who faces a tragic fate.

According to the song’s lyrics, Taylor “might’ve drowned in the melancholy” if she hadn’t been saved by her true love.

“I heard you calling / On the megaphone,” Taylor sings. “You wanna see me all alone.”

The lyrics appear to be a nod to Travis Kelce calling Taylor out on his New Heights podcast for not meeting him at her Eras Tour, which is how their romance began.

“I swore loyalty to me, myself and I,” the lyrics continue. “Right before you lit my sky up.”

Before meeting Travis, Taylor was fresh off a breakup from Matty Healy, having declared herself one of the “independent girlies” in July 2023.

But after Travis went to her concert in Kansas City that same month, sparks began to fly.

Now, Taylor’s fiancé is even in on her Easter egg game, teasing “The Fate of Ophelia” lyrics on Instagram back in July. (Had some adventures this offseason,” he captioned pics with Taylor, adding, “Kept it [100].”)

How does that connect to Taylor’s song? Well, as the lyrics go, “You dug me out of my grave and saved my heart from the fate of Ophelia / Keep it one hundred.”

Erling Haaland’s Shocking Connection To Kantara Chapter 1 At Manchester City FC Revealed | Glamsham.com

by jummy84 October 7, 2025
written by jummy84

Manchester City shocked supporters and movie fans in equal measure with a stunning new revelation: “A legend, still being written.” These emotive words paralleled a dramatic image of football icon Erling Haaland against the otherworldly background of Kantara: Chapter 1, fusing the sport and cinema universes in a surprising but exhilarating cross-over.

The photo, posted on Instagram, is of Haaland standing in the misty forests and tribal patterns of Kantara’s mythical realm. The haunting poster soon went viral, reflecting how the movie has transformed from a local hit to a worldwide cultural phenomenon.

Kantara: Chapter 1, the prequel to the blockbuster hit in 2022, was released worldwide on October 2, 2025, in 30+ countries and several languages. Its U.K. premiere was greeted with a standing ovation, with reviewers hailing its deeply ingrained folklore and global appeal. The 4th-century AD-set film delves into the sacred history of the land of Kantara, searching out myths, ancient wars, and intervention by the gods. It’s a story of fire, faith, and destiny—one that now appears to resonate far beyond Indian films.

Directed, written, and starring Rishab Shetty, the film also features Sapthami Gowda, Gulshan Devaiah, Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram, PD Satish Chandra, and Prakash Thuminad. Arvind S. Kashyap’s cinematography and B. Ajaneesh Loknath’s music bring the world of Kantara alive again.

Made by Vijay Kiragandur on Hombale Films, Kantara: Chapter 1 is not merely a box office success—it’s a cultural crossover. From football heroes such as Haaland to theater-goers on both sides of the world, the legend of Kantara is being remade as a contemporary epic with genuinely worldwide appeal.

Finneas Rocks At ‘Austin City Limits’ Season Premiere

by jummy84 October 5, 2025
written by jummy84

Finneas puts the spotlight on his solo catalog during the 51st season premiere of the long-running PBS-televised concert series Austin City Limits, which airs tomorrow (Oct. 4). SPIN premieres two performances from the hour-long set, “2001” and “Starfucker,” below.

“When I grew up, I did not have the channels on TV. My family could not afford cable television, which meant I grew up on PBS,” Finneas said during the show. “I watched PBS relentlessly as a child and I still consume it now. Growing up, I watched ACL on PBS often with my parents — in the kitchen on their small, small little tv that they had above the sink so that they could watch concerts like this while they were doing the dishes.”

Finneas previously performed on Austin City Limits in 2019 with his sister, Billie Eilish. With his new side project, the Favors, the artist/producer/songwriter will be in action tomorrow as part of the unrelated Austin City Limits festival, and will also headline a show later in the evening at Stubb’s BBQ.

Austin City Limits continues this fall with performances by the Marías (Oct. 11), Charley Crockett and Waxahatchee (Oct. 25), Samara Joy (Nov. 1), a celebration of legendary local venue Antone’s (Nov. 8), Kelsea Ballerini and CAM (Nov. 15) and Jon Batiste (Nov. 22).

In addition, My Morning Jacket will be inducted into the show’s Hall of Fame by filmmaker/writer Cameron Crowe on the Oct. 18 episode. The band joins prior Hall of Fame honorees such as Willie Nelson, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kris Kristofferson, Bonnie Raitt and Wilco.

Aaron Eckhart & His Police Dog in ‘Muzzle: City of Wolves’ Full Trailer

“You messed with the cartel’s business… Now they’re coming for you.” “I’m ready.” Unleash the hound(s)! RLJE Films has revealed the official trailer for a movie called Muzzle: City of Wolves, a surprise sequel to the movie Muzzle from 2023. Did anyone know about this? Did anyone even watch that original movie? Muzzle: City of Wolves is a direct sequel – introducing a new dog named Argos as his partner. Haunted ex-K-9 officer Jake’s peaceful life is shattered when a gang brutally attacks his family. With his new K-9 partner Argos, he uncovers a drug ring, confronts corrupt officials involved in it, and fights inner demons all the while pursuing the criminals. Of course he does! A sequel to 2023’s Muzzle, the action-thriller stars Aaron Eckhart, Tanya van Graan, and Karl Thaning. Directed again by John Stalberg Jr., opening in theaters this November. At least the doggie in this looks like he’s a real champion. But the rest? Exceptionally cliche.

Here’s the official trailer (+ poster) for John Stalberg Jr.’s film Muzzle: City of Wolves, from YouTube:

Muzzle: City of Wolves Poster

Jake Rosser (starring Aaron Eckhart) is haunted by PTSD from his days as a K-9 officer and endeavors to lead a peaceful life with his family and retired K-9 companion, Socks. But the tranquility quickly dissolves when a ruthless gang targets them in a brutal attack. Determined to protect his loved ones, Jake and his new K-9 partner “Argos” delve into a violent underbelly of crime where Jake confronts corrupt officials, uncovers a perilous drug trafficking ring, and battles his own inner demons. Muzzle 2: City of Wolves is directed by American producer / filmmaker John Stalberg Jr., also director of the movies High School, Crypto, Bad Hombres, and Muzzle previously. The screenplay is written by Jacob Michael King, based on a story by John Stalberg Jr. Based on the characters created by Carlyle Eubank. Produced by Kyle Ambrose, Delon Bakker, David Frigerio, John Stalberg Jr. RLJE Films will debut Stalberg Jr’s Muzzle: City of Wolves movie in US theaters starting November 14th, 2025 later in the fall. Who’s down to watch? Look good?

Drake’s City, Dirty Deals: Where Lawyers Buy the Crown

by jummy84 September 30, 2025
written by jummy84

Exclusive: Secret Recording Allegedly Exposes High-Profile Lawyer Tied to Street Figures, Backroom Deals, and Shocking Bravado

In the underbelly of Toronto’s legal scene—where handshakes behind courthouse doors carry more weight than courtroom arguments—a secret recording has surfaced. It reportedly captures one of the city’s most connected lawyers making bold, unapologetic claims now echoing across legal circles like a fire alarm.

“We fixed you up last time. I’m not cheap, but I’m effective. Don’t doubt me.”

That voice? Believed to be that of criminal defence lawyer Peter Thorning, who, according to multiple legal insiders, has long been known for securing outcomes that raise eyebrows—and questions. From this point forward, he’s referred to only as Sneaky Pete.

The Call That Sparked It All

The recording, obtained by a private investigator, allegedly captures a conversation between a Toronto street figure—identified as one of Top5’s “guys”—and Sneaky Pete. The call, played on speakerphone during an outdoor hangout, wasn’t quiet or coded.

“It didn’t sound like legal advice,” said the PI. “It sounded like a fixer reminding someone who really pulls the strings.”

The PI claims the surveillance was arranged by Top5 himself—to keep leverage on Pete “in case he switched sides or stopped repping the mandem.”

Top5: The Legal Flex

Toronto rapper Top5, known for fusing criminal charges with Instagram clout, once shouted on Live:

“My lawyers? Are all gang gang. All of ’em. They work for us. My Crowdy got a law degree.”

It sounded like a punchline, but according to legal insiders, it wasn’t all cap. Sneaky Pete’s name allegedly pops up often in maneuverings around Top5’s circle—and not just for courtroom strategy.

One insider said:

“Real talk—dude’s the Black Ray Donovan. Word is, he got the bowye dem on payroll. If you got ops, he’ll line ’em up fast… charges hittin’ like rain, fam.”

Top5’s Greatest Hits (In Court)

The leak hits just as multiple high-stakes cases are bubbling across Toronto’s legal system. Allegations of witness tampering, last-minute bail surprises, and dropped charges are stacking up.

“We make deals all the time,” the voice believed to be Sneaky Pete says. “You’re not in the game this long without the right connections.”

That quote alone has triggered talks of reopening case files, while watchdogs scramble behind the scenes.

And then there’s this unfiltered studio brag from Top5:

“We got Brampton on lock, Toronto on lock, Newmarket on lock — everywhere, fam. Old City Hall? Man’s got bear crowns for days!”

Whether exaggeration or revelation, people are paying attention now.

Rails, Tales, and Moana’s Girls

The whispers don’t stop in court. Downtown legal circles refer to “Lady Moana’s girls”—a known clique of paralegals, legal secretaries, and after-hours influencers allegedly linked to party favors and courtroom favours.

One clerk retired from the game summed it up like this:

“It was rails, tales, and Moana’s girls. That’s how the circle moved when the lights went low.”

Sources say Sneaky Pete’s name came up more than once in these stories—buttoned-up by day, loose-tie legend by night.

The Fallout

Even if the recording can’t make it into court, its impact may already be irreversible. Sources confirm the following steps are underway:
• A Law Society of Ontario inquiry
• Internal Crown file reviews
• Journalists now chasing cross-referenced cases with “odd outcomes”

One veteran Crown said:

“The real power isn’t in the verdict. It’s who gets the brief first—and who’s told to back off.”

And when it comes to the vibe of the city itself?

Drake wasn’t lying when he said mob ties. This isn’t just lyrics. This is backroom chess with briefcases and burner phones.

In a city run on connections, one quote hits harder than any motion filed:

“You’re not in the game this long without the right connections.”

But this time, the streets are talking. The audio is in circulation. And it’s not just law enforcement watching—it’s the people.

Travis Kelce insists he ‘loves’ Kansas City Chiefs head coach

by jummy84 September 27, 2025
written by jummy84

27 September 2025

Travis Kelce enjoys being challenged by Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.

Travis Kelce has played down talk of a rift

The 35-year-old NFL star has recently come under fire after an on-field confrontation with Reid, but Travis insists that they’re aren’t lingering problems between them.

He told the Kansas City Star: “I love that guy, man. There’s nothing outside of this building that’s going to make me feel any different way. We know exactly each other’s intentions.”

Travis suggested that coach Reid “challenges” him during games to ensure he produces his best possible form. The sports star – who is engaged to pop singer Taylor Swift – actually believes that Reid’s approach has helped to take his own game “to another level”.

He said: “I think what coach Reid does best is he challenges guys to be at their best, and I love that about him. It definitely helped me take my game to another level that game.”

Earlier this year, Travis insisted that he still has “a lot more to prove” in the NFL.

The sports star briefly contemplated retirement after losing the 2025 Super Bowl, but Travis still feels motivated and ambitious.

He told reporters: “It wasn’t a very tough [decision] for me.

“I know I’m getting older, but at the same time I still feel like I got a lot that I can prove in this league. It really wasn’t that hard of a decision for me.”

Travis felt hurt after losing the Super Bowl earlier this year, but his passion for the sport remains as strong as ever.

He said: “I love football. I don’t think I really thought about it that much. My friends and family and the team and the guys and women in this building, I love coming into work every single day.”

Despite this, Travis took his time before deciding to commit himself to another season with the Kansas City Chiefs.

He explained: “You want to let the emotions die down [after the end of the season].

“That was the biggest thing — you don’t want to make decisions off initial emotions. But for the most part, once they died down, I still felt like I had that fire in my chest to be able to keep coming in and building and be better and chase another Super Bowl.”
