Who left Strictly 2025? Fifth celebrity to be voted out revealed

by jummy84 November 2, 2025

Halloween Week has seen another celebrity and professional leave Strictly Come Dancing following a strong night of performances.

But while last night saw the judges dish out their first perfect score of the series, a few other pairs were not so lucky, with four duos failing to hit the 30-point mark on the leaderboard.

Two of those pairs then had to face the dreaded dance off, with Ellie Goldstein and Vito Coppola coming up against Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon.

After performing their dances once more, the first three judges to vote – Anton du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse – unanimously sided with Balvinder and Julian, eliminating Ellie and Vito from the competition.

Although not required to give her vote, Shirley Ballas confirmed that she, too, would have opted for Balvinder and Julian, though adding that she thought “Ellie was also outstanding throughout the whole competition.”

Following their elimination, Tess Daly said to Vito that “Everyone behind the scenes, everyone in front of the camera, everyone at home, can see what an incredible partnership you have had with Ellie and just how much it means to you.”

Vito himself told Ellie: “Honestly, there are no words I can use to describe how proud I am of you and you did really change my life so much. You made me such a better person.

“At the beginning of this year, I said to myself please, please please can you send me a beautiful angel into my life? And now you arrived.

“I’ve never had a little sister but I always wanted one. Now, I have you and you’re my little sister forever, and your big brother is always by your side.”

On dancing with Vito, Ellie said “I’ve enjoyed it so much! He is a kind person and all I wanted from day one. You have been so heartwarming, thank you to you [Vito].”

Vito then affirmed that the pair would continue to dance together despite their elimination.

With only nine couples remaining in the Strictly line-up, we now look forward to next week’s show, in which our dancers will be joined by the Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment to mark Remembrance Sunday.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One and iPlayer on Saturday 1st November at 6:35pm.

When asked if rumours of her taking part on I’m a Celeb were true, Lisa Riley told Betway: “Well, maybe it’s the year when I really need to think about going in. I don’t know! But listen, they ask me every year – the carrot is always dangled.

“So, I’m not going to say yes or no, but all I can say is, maybe it is something I should think about doing after seeing all of the love for me going in or for potentially doing it is unbelievable. Maybe it’s something I should really think about in the future, and apparently, I would be the favourite to win it, or so they say.”

She recently bowed out from the soap again as part of Natalie Cassidy’s exit as Sonia Fowler.

Outside of her acting career, Palmer has been DJing since 2012 and has been living in the United States since 2014. Earlier this year, the actress took part in Celebrity Big Brother, so her partaking in I’m a Celebrity may be less than likely now.

Prior to her appearing on Big Brother, Palmer had 2/1 odds to star in this year’s I’m a Celebrity.

Jack Grealish

Jack Grealish is a professional footballer who currently plays for Manchester City and the England national team. Previously to his Manchester move, Grealish played for Aston Villa, a team he had played for since he was six years old.

Now this is one is pretty unlikely with Grealish’s busy schedule at Manchester City, but he did previously admit he would love to appear on the show.

Sending a video to hosts Ant & Dec last year, Grealish said: “Hey guys, Jack here. I’ve heard that a few of you guys want to see me in the jungle. I can’t lie to you this is something that I’d absolutely love to do.

“It’s a show that I’ve watched since I was little and it’s a show that I love. I don’t know how I’d get on in there and I don’t think I’d be the best, to be honest, but I’d give it a go.”

Jools Oliver is a designer and owns the lifestyle brand Little Bird.

While rumours linking Jamie Oliver to the series crop up from time to time, he put them to bed while suggesting his wife could take part instead.

“I think it’s an amazing show, but honestly you couldn’t give me enough olive oil in the world to make me eat a witchetty grub or a kangaroo’s a**e, no way,” the celebrity chef told hosts Ant & Dec on Instagram Live.

“But what I can give you is my wife Jools, she would love to be on the show. Go on Jools.”

Dec joked: “Jools Oliver, first booking for 2025. Thanks, Jools, see you in Australia.”

The Most Creative Celebrity Halloween Costumes of 2025

by jummy84 November 2, 2025
written by jummy84

Even though October 31 is officially behind us, the rollout of celebrity Halloween costumes are bound to continue over the next couple of days. Even so, it’s safe to say some of the best looks have already been revealed.

Of course, you can’t talk about celebrity Halloween costumes without mentioning Heidi Klum, whose annual Halloween bash serves as the platform for her own spectacular transformations. This year, she sat in the makeup chair for nine hours to morph into a particularly monstrous version of Medusa, complete with mechanical snake hair and a stone version of her husband, Tom Kaulitz.

While Klum’s look did not disappoint, plenty of Hollywood’s finest planned their own parties and photoshoots to showcase their makeup and costuming skills—or, at least, the skills of the stylists and makeup artists they hired to bring their artistic vision to life.

For example, Janelle Monáe has already had multiple viral transformations this Halloweek, from her turn as the Cat in the Hat to a topless tattooed vampire on Muscle Beach. Finally, for her annual star-studded Wondaween bash, she let a shark take a bite out of yet another glamorous blood-sucking creature.

Here are some of this year’s best celebrity Halloween costumes so far.

No one does Halloween quite like Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz, who transformed into a fully reptilian take on Medusa and a soldier she turned to stone.

Arguably one of the most coveted (and charitable) nights of Halloween is none other than Bette Midler’s New York Restoration Project (NYRP) annual Hulaween—a spellbinding affair held in support of the city’s green spaces.

Last night marked NYRP’s 30th year of keeping New York green. The nonprofit, founded by Midler, partners with communities to restore parks, revive gardens, plant trees, and grow a more vibrant New York for everyone. Fittingly, the theme matched the mission: “Hulaween: New York, New York, a Helluva Town!”

As one guest dressed as Eloise quipped, “There is no one definition of New York.” The crowd proved her right—there were subway stops, Chrysler buildings, pizza rats, and one partygoer who earned a costume award for embodying every New Yorker’s quiet fear: death by falling A/C unit.

Midler herself leaned into her roots, arriving in denim overalls and glittering eye makeup as a playful nod to her showbiz sparkle and hands-on gardening spirit. Accepting the Catalyst Award, she joked, “I’m no longer a spring chicken, no longer a summer chicken, I’m not even a fall chicken. I’m an endangered chicken at this point!” Echoing the mission that has guided NYRP since 1995, she told the crowd, “Clean, green, open space is a right, not a privilege.”

Hosted by Busy Philipps, the evening sparkled with quintessential NY moments. Guests were treated to a surprise musical tribute from Billy Crystal alongside Marc Shaiman, Ben Platt’s rendition of “On Broadway,” and Andy Cohen (costumed as fellow Andy, Andy Warhol), honored with the Joan Kors Green Champion Award by designer Michael Kors in a taxi driver getup.

As the festivities wound down, guests were gently reminded to move along or risk being booted from Casa Cipriani’s storied halls. The City that Never Sleeps truly lived up to its name. – Lauren Sanchez

When Kiss Becomes Culture: Enrique Iglesias, Udit Narayan And India’s Uneven Lens On Celebrity Intimacy

When Kiss Becomes Culture: Enrique Iglesias, Udit Narayan And India’s Uneven Lens On Celebrity Intimacy

by jummy84 October 31, 2025
written by jummy84

Spanish pop sensation Enrique Iglesias may have kicked off his India tour with a roar in Mumbai, but it was not the vocals that drew attention — it was a kiss. A viral clip from the opening night shows the singer sharing a rather prolonged lip kiss with an excited fangirl on stage, an act that has since triggered a quiet murmur of reflection rather than outrage. It was, by all accounts, a moment charged with adoration, thrill, and the signature flamboyance Enrique brings to his performances. Yet, the absence of collective moral policing over the act — especially in a country known for its swift outrage — is what stands out most.

The same India that once balked when veteran playback singer Udit Narayan kissed an award show host on stage seems, this time, to have shrugged off the moment with global acceptance. The contrast reveals something telling about the evolving — and perhaps uneven — moral compass of celebrity culture in India. When Narayan’s brief peck made headlines years ago, it was treated almost as a breach of cultural decorum. The conversation was not about intent or context, but propriety. Fast forward to Enrique’s concert, and the conversation isn’t about right or wrong at all — it’s about spectacle.

Enrique, who has long carried a stage persona built on romance and intimacy, has performed similar gestures with fans worldwide — kisses, hugs, and the occasional dance-floor swirl. For Indian audiences, this was perhaps a long-awaited glimpse into the raw theatre of Western pop culture, brought to life right before their eyes. But beneath the cheers lies an unspoken acceptance: that when intimacy comes wrapped in an accent and global stardom, it feels less transgressive, even charming.

Enrique Iglesias Instagram Post

Western Pop Culture V/S Indian Pop Culture

This double standard is not new. Indian pop culture has often separated what’s “acceptable” from the West and what’s “inappropriate” at home. The same audience that squirmed at Udit Narayan’s harmless kiss or trolled other Indian celebrities for public displays of affection seemed to interpret Enrique’s act as a sign of charisma and connection. It wasn’t scandal — it was seduction as performance.

What makes this difference starker is how both moments unfolded under the same cultural sky. Udit Narayan’s gesture — a moment of warmth, even clumsy affection — was dissected for crossing a line. Enrique’s, meanwhile, was celebrated as a hallmark of fan engagement. The singer, dressed in his casual black tee and cap, barely hesitated before the fan leaned in, their kiss lasting long enough to blur the line between surprise and intent. Cameras flashed, the crowd roared, and the moment was sealed into social media eternity — without much moral commentary.

This isn’t to say India has suddenly abandoned its conservative streak. Rather, it has learned to selectively suspend it. The incident underscores how global exposure and celebrity hierarchies can reshape moral interpretations. The foreign performer becomes a vessel of cultural aspiration, a kind of acceptable exception. What feels too bold for Indian stars becomes perfectly palatable when delivered through a Western lens — a reminder that admiration often rewrites boundaries faster than reason does.

Also Read:Emraan Hashmi Slams Toxic Masculinity: ‘Men Thinking ‘We’ll Do Whatever We Can’ Costs Women Their Dignity’

There’s also the matter of power dynamics on stage. In both cases — Narayan and Enrique — the act wasn’t coerced. But one was seen as overreach, the other as a dream come true. The distinction isn’t about gender or consent; it’s about the narratives audiences construct around who holds the right to intimacy in public. An Indian singer doing it appears indulgent; a global icon doing it looks romantic.

For India’s entertainment landscape, this moment is more than tabloid fodder. It’s an opportunity to examine how globalisation is quietly reshaping the nation’s moral lens. Western pop stars are often granted immunity under the pretext of performance art — their actions seen as extensions of their artistic identity. But Indian artists are still expected to embody restraint, their reputations tied to social respectability.

Enrique’s Mumbai kiss, therefore, is less about scandal and more about symbolism. It represents how India continues to negotiate modernity through borrowed gestures — accepting the global stage’s freedoms selectively while demanding restraint from its own. The camera captured more than a kiss; it revealed a country still learning how to separate admiration from inhibition, and art from morality.

8 Best Purple Shampoos, According to Celebrity Hairstylists

by jummy84 October 29, 2025
written by jummy84

For anyone with lightened, bleached, or gray hair who wants to maintain a cooler tone, the best purple shampoos are a “smart, low effort way to keep blonde and silver hair fresh, bright, and salon-worthy between appointments,” says celebrity hairstylist Ricky Mota. It’s science meets color theory: The violet and purple pigments work to neutralize unwanted yellow and brassy tones in blonde, platinum, white, or gray hair.

The thing is, there’s an art to choosing the right option for you—the wrong purple shampoo can dry out your strands, so it’s worth investing in a high-quality, nourishing formula. Plus, moderation is key—use it too often, and you risk veering into violet territory.

Ahead, everything you need to know about using and choosing the best purple shampoo; plus, Vogue’s favorite formulas to keep color bright and cool-toned, refresh highlights between salon visits, and help reduce brassiness from sun or heat exposure.

In This Story:

Best Overall: Kérastase Blond Absolu Bain Ultra-Violet Purple Shampoo

Kérastase

Blond Absolu Bain Ultra-Violet Purple Shampoo

  • Why We Love It: For maximum hydration, Kérastase’s Blond Absolu formula is supercharged with hyaluronic acid, while highly-concentrated deep purple pigments restore blonde and gray shades to their original hue. The addition of edelweiss extract boosts both moisture and shine, according to Mota. Though it’s on the pricier side, you’ll only need to use it once a week, so a single bottle should last a while. The brand recommends leaving it on for at least two minutes (or longer, depending on how much you want to tone down brassiness). for best results
  • Key Ingredients: Hyaluronic acid, edelweiss flower, ultra-violet neutralizers
  • Best For: Blonde hair, grey hair
  • Size: 250 mL

Best for All Hair Types: Dae Violet Hour Purple Shampoo

Dae

Violet Hour Purple Shampoo

  • Why We Love It: No matter your hair type, whether straight, wavy, curly, or coily, Dae’s Violet Hour Purple Shampoo effectively tones down brassiness while nourishing strands with botanical ingredients like quinoa protein and cactus flower. According to celebrity colorist Rita Hazan, “It’s sulfate-free, vegan, and has a pleasant citrus scent, leaving blonde, gray, or lightened hair bright without drying it out.” However, she cautions that using it too often or leaving it on for too long can result in a slight purple tint.
  • Key Ingredients: Cactus flower extract, quinoa protein, moringa leaf extract
  • Best For: Blonde, gray, and lightened brunette hair
  • Size: 300 mL

Best for Bond Repair: Olaplex No.4P Blonde Enhancer Toning Purple Shampoo

Olaplex

No.4P Blonde Enhancer Toning Purple Shampoo

  • Why We Love It: With its patented bond building technology, Olaplex’s violet, highly concentrated shampoo repairs and protects hair while tackling brassiness. Best used two to three times per week, this works well on both natural blondes and grays, as well as highlighted and chemically-treated strands. It comes in two sizes, 250 mL and 1000 mL, so if you opt for the larger one, you’ll never have to worry about running out. Plus, complete the regimen with Olaplex’s purple toning conditioner to ensure hair looks shiny and balanced after each wash day.
  • Key Ingredients: Violet toning agents
  • Best For: Blonde, grey hair
  • Size: 250 mL, 1000 mL

Best Drugstore: L’Oréal Paris EverPure Sulfate Free Purple Shampoo

L’Oréal Paris

EverPure Sulfate Free Purple Shampoo

  • Why We Love It: For those who don’t want to break the bank or simply wish to test drive the benefits of purple shampoo before splurging on a luxury option, this under-$15 pick from L’Oréal is a great place to start. A drugstore favorite, L’Oréal’s sulfate-free EverPure formula protects color with just the right amount of purple pigments, while hair-loving hibiscus, which is rich in vitamin C, helps boost hair growth and retention. Mota calls it a “great affordable option,” noting that it’s “sulfate-free and easy for weekly maintenance.” It’s not just for true blondes either, as it helps neutralize brassy yellow and orange tones in blonde, bleached, highlighted, and silver hair.
  • Key Ingredients: Purple dye, hibiscus
  • Best For: Blonde, bleached, highlighted and silver hair
  • Size: 200 mL

Best Nourishing: Leonor Greyl Soin Repigmentant Icy Blonde

Leonor Greyl

Soin Repigmentant Icy Blonde

  • Why We Love It: To hydrate extra-parched dry hair, Leonor Greyl’s brightening purple conditioning treatment is infused with meadowfoam seed oil, rice proteins, and babassu butter. Mota notes that it’s technically more of a conditioning treatment than a shampoo, describing it as a “natural, nourishing pigment treatment that tones and softens.” After shampooing, work it through the scalp to the ends and leave on for two to five minutes weekly to remove yellow tones, enhance color, and neutralize very light blonde to blonde hair.
  • Key Ingredients: Meadowfoam oil, almond extract, babassu oil
  • Best For: Blonde hair
  • Size: 200 mL

Best for Damaged Hair: dpHUE Cool Blonde Shampoo

  • Why We Love It: To keep your blonde fresh and cool, dpHUE’s gentle cleanser is infused with purple pigments and nourishing ingredients like silk proteins to improve elasticity and prevent breakage. While some purple shampoos can be quite harsh, Mota says this one leans the other way, describing it as “effective yet gentle.” The trick is to leave it on for up to five minutes, then follow with the brand’s Cool Blonde Conditioner once a week to keep hair looking bright and free of brassiness.
  • Key Ingredients: Purple pigments, silk proteins
  • Best For: Cool blonde hair
  • Size: 250 mL

Best for Brassy Hair: Amika Bust Your Brass Shampoo

  • Why We Love It: “Amika Bust Your Brass Shampoo is a salon-quality purple shampoo designed to neutralize brassiness in blonde, silver, and gray hair,” says Hazan. It’s infused with nourishing ingredients like quinoa protein and plant butters to help strengthen and hydrate while toning unwanted warm tones. “The shampoo’s violet pigments effectively counteract yellow and orange hues, leaving hair with a cooler, more vibrant appearance.” It also leaves behind a fresh scent of pink grapefruit, apricot, and warm vanilla, turning the chore of wash day into a more indulgent ritual.
  • Key Ingredients: Ultra-violet pigments, quinoa protein
  • Best For: Yellow and brassy tones
  • Size: 275 mL

Best Smoothing: Nexxus Blonde Assure Shampoo

  • Why We Love It: Nexxus Blonde Assure Purple Shampoo is a powerful yet gentle way to keep blonde, silver, and bleached hair looking fresh and vibrant, says Hazan. “Since it has keratin protein and violet pigments, it effectively neutralizes unwanted brassiness while helping to strengthen and smooth the hair. It does contain sulfates, which can be drying if overused, so make sure to follow with a rich conditioner to keep hair healthy and hydrated.” It also has a light citrus scent that lingers throughout the day, making it an easy way to fish for compliments.
  • Key Ingredients: Glycerin, hydrolyzed keratin
  • Best For: Blonde, silver, platinum hair
  • Size: 251 mL

Everything You Need to Know

According to Hazan, “Purple shampoo is a toning shampoo infused with violet pigments designed to cancel out unwanted yellow or brassy tones in blonde, silver, gray, or white hair.” Since purple sits opposite yellow on the color wheel, it neutralizes warmth and keeps light-colored hair looking cool and fresh between salon visits. “It won’t dye your hair purple,” she adds. “Instead, it subtly tones and enhances your color without leaving behind a purple tint when used properly.”

The Benefits of Purple Shampoo

When used sparingly, purple shampoo can deliver a range of benefits. Hazan explains that it helps neutralize yellow and brassy tones, prolong salon color results, enhance shine and brightness, and allow for gentle maintenance between appointments. It also works for both natural and color-treated hair and is especially effective for white or gray hair that has started to yellow. “It removes that hollow tint, leaving white hair crisp and clean-looking,” she says.

Who should use purple shampoo?

Hazan says purple shampoo is ideal for natural or dyed blondes (especially platinum, ash, or icy tones), people with silver, gray, or white hair, those with blonde highlights or balayage, and anyone experiencing yellowing from sun exposure, pollution, or hard water. “It’s generally not needed for darker hair unless there are lighter pieces that need toning,” she explains.

What is the downside of purple shampoo?

“Using purple shampoo too often or leaving it on too long can result in a dull, grayish, or even purple tint, especially on very light or porous hair,” says Hazan. “Too much purple shampoo will dull your hair, leaving it not only an odd color but also lacking shine,” she adds. Overuse can also cause dryness, so Mota recommends using it only once or twice a week and always following with a hydrating conditioner.

How to Use Purple Shampoo

To use a purple shampoo, wet the hair and lather on the formula evenly. “Don’t apply it on dry because the hair is more porous, and it will grab too much of the purple tone,” cautions colorist Richy Kandasamy. Once applied evenly, leave it on for two to four minutes, depending on the amount of brassiness or yellow in the hair. “When rinsing the shampoo out of your hair, use cool water, which will help close the cuticle and seal the color.” Following, apply a conditioner, moisturizing hair mask, or leave-in to lock in hydration.

Who left Strictly 2025? Fourth celebrity to be voted out revealed

by jummy84 October 27, 2025
written by jummy84

Strictly Come Dancing bid farewell to another celebrity and their professional partner this weekend following Saturday night’s Icons Week.

Despite both finishing in the top six of the judges’ leaderboard, the bottom two pairs when viewer voted were combined were Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Lauren Oakley, and Amber Davies and Nikita Kuzmin.

Following the dance-off, it was up to Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke to have their say – and they unanimously decided to save Amber and Nikita.

As a result, it meant Jimmy and Lauren were eliminated from the competition.

Speaking to Tess Daly at the end of Sunday night’s show, the former Chelsea footballer – whose American Smooth to Purple Rain on Icons Week was actually his highest score of the season – said: “I have absolutely loved my experience.

“I can only say thank you very much for letting me have this experience and to my daughters for pushing me to come here and do this. I never expected that I would enjoy it this much.”

Lauren said that she was “absolutely gutted” to be voted out, adding: “We’ve had so many laughs. We have had the best time and I am so proud of how far he has come.

“And it proves that anyone can be a dancer if you put your mind to it. He’s a footballer! And he just danced like that. I’m just so proud and I feel honoured to have been able to teach you.”

There are now just 10 couples left in the Strictly line-up – one fewer than anticipated at this stage in the season following Stefan Dennis’s withdrawal due to injury – and they all move on to Halloween Week next Saturday.

Elsewhere on yesterday’s show, Tess and Claudia Winkleman addressed their decision to leave the BBC series at the end of the year by thanking fans for their messages of support – and La Voix couldn’t resist a cheeky joke about the pair’s impending exit.

Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One and iPlayer on Saturday 1st November at 6:35pm.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s Ultra-Private Wedding Redefines Celebrity Love

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s Ultra-Private Wedding Redefines Celebrity Love

In a world where every celebrity milestone feels like a media event, Selena Gomez just rewrote the rules. The singer and actress quietly tied the knot with producer Benny Blanco in September 2025, and fans are obsessed with how elegantly she kept it all under wraps.

Instead of a lavish public affair, Gomez and Blanco chose intimacy. Only close family and friends were invited, and phones were reportedly banned during the ceremony. On The Jennifer Hudson Show, Selena shared that she wanted to experience her wedding “in real time, not through screens.” That statement alone sent fans into a frenzy, praising her for choosing authenticity over spectacle.

Fashion insiders haven’t stopped talking about her three custom Ralph Lauren gowns, each one crafted with the brand’s signature understated glamour. The most talked-about piece was a lace halter embroidered with their initials, said to have taken more than 700 hours to complete. The couple exchanged vows under soft candlelight surrounded by pale pink roses and an acoustic performance from a close friend.

A few days later, Benny called Selena his “real-life Disney princess” in a heartfelt Instagram post that melted hearts everywhere. And when Taylor Swift shared a candid photo helping her best friend with her veil, the internet officially lost it.

What makes this story so magnetic is how it contrasts the Hollywood norm. Instead of trading exclusives or turning their wedding into content, Gomez and Blanco built mystique. The restraint made the romance even more powerful. It’s a reminder that true influence isn’t about exposure, it’s about emotional connection and control over your narrative.

As one of the most followed women on social media, Gomez’s decision to go private feels revolutionary. It’s not just a love story; it’s a statement. Selena isn’t following trends, she’s setting them.

2025 Academy Museum Gala: All the Best Celebrity Red Carpet Looks

by jummy84 October 20, 2025
written by jummy84

If the 2025 Academy Museum Gala’s red carpet is anything to go by, this is going to be a great awards season.

Is this a safe place to admit my opinion that red carpets have grown a bit stale over the past few seasons, with just a few really memorable looks here and there? Thankfully, it seems designers and celebrities are more than ready to change that this year. From the avant-garde, like Hailey Bieber’s corseted Schiaparelli illusion dress, to even the more classic gowns, like Demi Moore’s burgundy Prada moment, there were no shortage of showstoppers—and I haven’t even mentioned Jenna Ortega’s leaf-inspired breastplate or Elle Fanning’s Balenciaga t-shirt yet.

While the main purpose of the Academy Museum Gala is to raise funds for the museum’s exhibitions and programming, it always serves as a strong precursor to Awards season. Sure, this year’s Emmys have already come and gone, but we’ve still got many months to go before the Academy Awards in March. Between now and then, celebrity stylists still have to call in looks for the BAFTAs, SAG Awards, the Grammys, and all the celebratory moments in between. This is just the appetizer.

From Zoë Kravitz to Olivia Rodrigo to Charli XCX, here are all the must-see red carpet looks from the 2025 Academy Museum Gala.

The Celebrity Apprentice confirmed to return at Christmas – but one major figure is missing

The Celebrity Apprentice confirmed to return at Christmas – but one major figure is missing

by jummy84 October 16, 2025

The Christmas TV schedules are starting to fill up and it’s now been confirmed that the Celebrity Apprentice is set to make its return for two brand new festive episodes.

The episodes come ahead of The Apprentice’s major 20th anniversary and will see collaboration with Children in Need as the celebrities take to Lapland for a challenge that’s set to be tougher than ever – and will be able to be sampled by the general public.

While the candidates themselves have yet to be confirmed, we do know that 12 celebrities will be heading to Lapland to create a “magical festive biscuit”.

According to the synopsis: “The celebrities will then have to pitch their Christmas gingerbread biscuits to the biggest UK retailers, who will then, for the first time in the show’s history, sell the biscuits in stores across the UK – with a percentage of profits going to BBC Children in Need. The celebrities’ biscuits will hit the supermarket shelves in time for Christmas.”

So, if you’re in the market for a festive gingerbread (or several) then you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled on your supermarket shelves.

However, there will be a slight change in usual proceedings, as Lord Sugar’s advisors are a little different this time round. Due to Tim Campbell being unable to make the filming of the festive episodes, Lord Sugar will be joined by Mike Soutar instead and, of course, Baroness Brady.

Avid Apprentice fans will recognise Soutar as one of the regular stern faces when the candidates face the interview stage, forensically pouring over CVs and business plans to suss out whether they’re a good fit for Lord Sugar’s plans or not. So, it’s safe to say that he’ll be a steely addition to the group’s Lapland antics.

The BBC also shared that as part of the special episodes, the celebrity candidates visited the BBC Children in Need-funded project Chickenshed Theatre Trust, where they shared their adverts and offered the children a taste of their biscuits. As is the way with youngsters, they received their fair share of honest feedback.

Chickenshed is just one of the projects that receives funding from BBC Children in Need to support disabled children and those with additional needs to enable them to take part in positive activities that develop their confidence, learning and create opportunities.

A release date for The Celebrity Apprentice: Christmas Specials will be announced in due course, but we do know that the episodes will air later this year on BBC One and iPlayer.

Paul Broadbent, director of programmes at producer Naked, said: “We are delighted to announce The Celebrity Apprentice: Christmas Specials. Not only will the two special episodes be immensely entertaining, but the biscuits made and sold in the lead up to the show airing will be raising vital funds for BBC Children in Need – it’s a win win.

“The Apprentice has always been the ultimate test of business acumen and resilience. Now, with well-known faces stepping up to the challenge, we can’t wait to see how they fare under pressure.”

On the announcement of the episodes, Kalpna Patel-Knight, head of entertainment commissioning at the BBC, said: “Viewers can look forward to the celebrity candidates facing the ultimate festive challenge of creating their own biscuits in aid of BBC Children in Need with plenty of seasonal surprises along the way too before they face Lord Sugar in the boardroom who will decide who has been naughty and who has been nice!”

Tommy Nagra, director of content at BBC Children in Need, also added: “This is the first time we have partnered with The Celebrity Apprentice. The spirit of Christmas embodies kindness, generosity and giving, so it’s especially exciting that – for the first time ever – the product created during the show will be available in stores, with proceeds going directly to BBC Children in Need.

“Right now, we’re only able to fund one in six organisations that ask us for support, so every pound raised will help us reach children across the UK who are most in need, during these most challenging of times for young people.”

As for who the lucky batch of celebrities will be, we’ll just have to keep our eyes peeled for an announcement but excitement can certainly start building from now, especially as viewers will get their first chance to actually get involved in The Apprentice.

The Celebrity Apprentice: Christmas Specials will air later this year on BBC One and iPlayer.
