Celebrity Hairstylist Justine Marjan Breaks Down the Ultimate Do’s and Don’ts of Extensions

Getting luscious locks just got a lot easier thanks to celebrity hairstylist Justine Marjan. The hair pro, whose client roster includes Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian, Megan Fox, Shay Mitchell, Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Eva Longoria, and more A-listers, shared her extensions tips with ET while celebrating the opening of the Bellami Beauty Bar in West Hollywood, California.

And whether you’re a total newbie or a seasoned pro, Marjan says you’re in the right place for all things hair extensions.

“The new location is stunning. It has a retail area, multi-chair salon space, and a VIP salon chair. … Anyone who is looking for density or fullness, added length, or variation in color without a chemical service is a good candidate,” she notes.

Justine Marjan/Instagram

Before committing to a mane change, the key is choosing a top tier brand and an expert you trust.

“Bellami’s professional stylists are on hand for consultations, color matching, and to install temporary and semi-permanent extensions. … I love the amazing quality, the range of options for application, the innovative technology, and the wide color range,” Marjan explains.

For true beginners, the hair guru suggests starting with clip-ins.

“They’re the best way to test out extensions and see if you like the look, feel, and density of them. … You can also use them to instantly change your look for a specific style, like a ponytail, or for a fuller bun or braid, without the commitment of other methods.”

Justine Marjan/Instagram

If you find yourself wearing them regularly, it may be time to explore options with more staying power.

“K-tips last the longest but also take the longest to apply because individual keratin bonds are attached to tiny strands of hair throughout the entire head,” she shares.

“Tape-ins are a much faster option, but last around 6 to 8 weeks. They’re usually good for someone who wants length and fullness for a trip, wedding, or special occasion.”

Marjan will even mix and match techniques when needed to correct any previous hair mishaps. “Sometimes I’ll use bonds and tapes together to fix a hair issue like a bad haircut or to mask hair loss.”

Justine Marjan/Instagram

Once your extensions are in, a few golden rules will help keep them looking gorgeous.

Definite do’s: Keep your strands detangled and healthy.

“Bellami has an amazing brush designed specifically for extension maintenance. I suggest using it every day to avoid matting. … And when your hair feels dirty, wash it. It depends on your hair density, how often you sweat or work out, and your natural sebum production.”

Justine Marjan/Instagram

As for the major don’ts? Swimming in salt water or chlorine, sleeping with wet hair, air drying, applying masks or conditioner to roots, using oils or silicone at the attachment point, and applying hot tools directly to the tape or bond.

“There are countless ways to use extensions. It’s really based on your lifestyle and what is preferred for maintenance and application. At Bellami’s Beauty Bar, you can finish your look off with the perfect style.”

Celebrity Inmates That Served Time At Same Prison As Diddy

by jummy84 November 12, 2025
written by jummy84

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal prison sentence is underway, and while the mogul’s criminal trial has ended, he’s managed to continue to garner headlines, even from behind bars.

Combs, who was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in July 2025, is currently serving a 50 month sentence in federal prison on those charges

Despite being housed at Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix in New Jersey for less than two weeks, Combs has already made waves for everything from alleged contraband to sightings alongside other notable inmates.

Because of his superstar status in hip-hop, his business empire, and the dramatic nature of the trial, Combs instantly became the most high-profile inmate at the facility, the largest federal prison in the U.S. according to population.

However, he’s far from the first celebrity to call the federal facility home during their incarceration, as multiple stars have spent part of their incarceration walking the same grounds Diddy will for the foreseeable future.

In light of the buzz surrounding Combs’ life behind bars, VIBE compiled a list of several notable inmates that have served time at FCI Fort Dix.

  • Kwame Kilpatrick

Kwame Kilpatrick, the flamboyant former mayor of Detroit from 2002 to 2008, became a high-profile federal prisoner after his 2013 conviction on racketeering, fraud, bribery and extortion charges.

His case drew national attention not only because of the scale of the corruption but also because a sitting mayor of a major U.S. city was felled by scandal, resigning in 2008 amid a text-messaging sex and cover-up scandal.

In October 2013 he was sentenced to 28 years in federal prison for orchestrating a pattern of corruption from City Hall that exploited his office and contractors while the city languished.

In June 2018, Kilpatrick was transferred to FCI Fort Dix, where he served part of that sentence.

  • Martin Shkreli

    Martin ShkreliMartin Shkreli

Martin Shkreli — the once-flamboyant pharmaceutical entrepreneur widely known as the “Pharma Bro” — became a high-profile federal prisoner following his 2017 conviction for two counts of securities fraud and one count of conspiring to commit securities fraud.

In March 2018 he was sentenced to seven years in federal prison after investors were defrauded of more than ten million dollars. Assets including a rare Wu-Tang Clan album were forfeited by Shkreli as part of his conviction.

In April 2018 he was transferred to the FCI Fort Dix to serve part of his term. He ultimately served nearly the full sentence and was released in 2022.

  • John Forté

John Forté found himself at the centre of a high-profile federal case when, in July 2000, he was arrested at Newark Airport after accepting a briefcase carrying liquid cocaine.

The musician was charged with possession with intent to distribute and conspiracy to distribute. He was convicted in the U.S. federal system and received a mandatory 14-year prison sentence in 2001.

Part of his term was served at the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix facility. According to Forté’s own account, he spent approximately seven years and four months behind bars before his sentence was commuted by then-President George W. Bush on November 24, 2008.

He walked out of FCI a free man on December 22, 2008.

  • George Jung

    George JungGeorge Jung

George Jung became a high-profile inmate not merely because of his time in prison, but because of his outsized role in the U.S. cocaine trade of the 1970s and ’80s and the fact that his story was dramatized in the 2001 film Blow (in which Johnny Depp portrayed him).

In 1995 Jung pleaded guilty to federal drug-trafficking charges after having partnered with Carlos Lehder and directed the shipment of thousands of tons of narcotics into the United States. He was later sentenced to a lengthy term that would see him serve 19 years in prison.

Jung was housed at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey before his full release in 2014. His capture, conviction and incarceration generated intense media attention because of his celebrity connection, the scale of his trafficking operations, and the film version of his life-story.

  • Casanova

    CasanovaCasanova

Casanova (born Caswell Senior) — once a rising Brooklyn rapper signed to major labels — became one of the most-talked-about federal inmates when his work and his alleged gang ties collided.

In December 2020 he surrendered to authorities after being indicted for his leadership role in the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation (Gorilla Stone) gang, accused of racketeering and massive narcotics trafficking.

A year later, he pleaded guilty (May 11 2022) to conspiracy to conduct the affairs of a criminal enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity and to conspiracy to distribute more than 100 kg of marijuana. On June 27 2023 he was sentenced to 188 months (15 years 8 months) in federal prison.

He is currently serving part of that term at the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix (FCI Fort Dix) in New Jersey.

  • Joe Guidice

Joe Giudice — best known as the husband of The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice — reported to the Federal Correctional Institution Fort Dix in New Jersey on March 23, 2016, to begin serving a 41-month federal sentence for bankruptcy fraud.

The charges stemmed from a 2013 indictment in which he and his wife were accused of concealing assets and submitting false loan applications. Convicted in 2014, Giudice’s imprisonment drew significant media attention due to the couple’s reality-TV fame and legal troubles playing out publicly.

While at FCI Fort Dix, he served nearly three years before his March 2019 release. Immediately afterward, Giudice was transferred to an immigration detention facility because he was not a U.S. citizen, and in October 2019 he was sent to Italy while appealing a deportation order.

  • Christopher Coke

Christopher “Dudus” Coke, the notorious Jamaican gangster and former leader of the Shower Posse, began his U.S. prison saga following his extradition in 2010 after a violent stand-off in Kingston, Jamaica.

In August 2011 he pleaded guilty to charges of large-scale narcotics and firearms trafficking and racketeering. In June 2012 he was sentenced to 23 years in federal prison by a U.S. court. He was later transferred to FCI Fort Dix during his term.

His scheduled release date has been adjusted to January 25, 2029, after credits under the First Step Act reduced his original July 4, 2030 release.

  • Sebastian Telfair

    Sebastian TelfairSebastian Telfair

Sebastian Telfair found himself behind bars again when in July 2025 a judge ordered him to serve six months in prison for violating the supervised-release terms tied to a 2021 health-care fraud case involving the NBA Players Health & Welfare Benefit Plan.

Telfair — once a top high-school basketball prospect and first-round NBA draft pick in 2004 — reported to the Federal Correctional Institution, Fort Dix in New Jersey on August 12, 2025, as part of that six-month sentence.

The violation stemmed from his failure to complete court-ordered community service and properly report to his probation officer following his initial plea in March 2023.

‘Celebrity Traitors’ Renewed for Season 2 at the BBC

by jummy84 November 10, 2025
written by jummy84

It’s official: a handful of Britain’s celebrities will return to the Scottish Highlands in 2026 for a second season of The Celebrity Traitors.

The hugely popular reality show — now an international success after installments in various territories, including in the U.S., Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, Greece and India — is set to return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer next year, with Claudia Winkleman playing host.

The first season of the U.K.’s Celebrity Traitors, which wrapped Thursday with a jaw-dropping finale that saw comedian-turned-traitor Alan Carr swoop in and nab the entire prize fund for his chosen charity, has become the biggest unscripted series in the U.K. since 2021. The debut episode of the show is now the biggest unscripted title on TV so far this year with 14.8 million views over 28 days in Britain.

The finale also broke records, according to the BBC, averaging 11.1 million viewers with a peak of 12 million, making it the biggest overnight audience in the market since the BBC’s own record-breaking Gavin & Stacey viewing on Dec. 25 last year, and biggest overnight share (81 percent) since the European Championships of soccer. The final episode had 1.9 million live requests on BBC iPlayer, which makes it the highest live-viewing number for any entertainment episode of all time on iPlayer.

Among some of the more high-profile names on the first season were actor-presenter Stephen Fry, Bridget Jones star Celia Imrie, singer-songwriter Paloma Faith, Olympian Tom Daley, chat show host Jonathan Ross and Ted Lasso‘s Nick Mohammed.

Along with series two of The Celebrity Traitors, podcast agency Platform Media will produce new episodes of companion show The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked, available via BBC Sounds, BBC Two and iPlayer, the BBC said.

The announcement of series two coincides with the publication of a new report that reveals the entire Traitors franchise has generated an estimated 21.8 million pound boost for Scotland’s economy since 2022.

Head of entertainment at the BBC Kalpna Patel-Knight said: “Studio Lambert have done an outstanding job as The Celebrity Traitors has well and truly captivated the nation, becoming a bona fide highlight of the year bringing record numbers of people together to enjoy every twist and turn.”

“In 2026 the doors of the castle will be opened again to welcome celebrity players to the game to see who can charm, who can scheme and ultimately who can survive in series two, which promises to be just as unmissable as the first,” she added.

Celebrity Traitors winner Alan Carr’s beloved comedy air date confirmed

by jummy84 November 9, 2025
written by jummy84

If you’re missing Alan Carr after his astonishing run on Celebrity Traitors, don’t despair: the comedian’s hit ITV sitcom is returning to screens later this month for its third season.

Changing Ends is a semi-autobiographical coming-of-age series, which sees Carr dramatise his childhood, growing up as the son of a football manager and not quite understanding what made him different to the other boys at his school.

Child actor Oliver Savell plays a young Alan Carr, while the comedian himself features as a narrator, appearing on-screen to offer context and reflections on the show’s storylines.

Changing Ends has earned a generally positive reception from critics and viewers alike, becoming ITVX’s most-viewed comedy in 2023, with Savell subsequently earning a BAFTA nomination for his uncanny turn as Carr.

The next chapter in the sitcom is available to stream from the morning of Sunday 23rd November 2025 on ITVX, with a linear broadcast to follow at 10:05pm that night on ITV1 – just after I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.

It’s an enviable lead-in for the series, which ITV will be hoping receives a Celebrity Traitors bump after Carr emerged as the breakout star of the recent season, with many viewers declaring him a “national treasure” for his masterful hoodwinking.

Carr himself acknowledged on Celebrity Traitors Uncloaked that the reaction to his participation has been more intense than his earlier television work, with industry pundits predicting high-profile follow-up gigs in the comic’s future.

For now, though, it’s a return to the comfortingly familiar ground of Changing Ends. The synopsis for season 3, courtesy of ITV teases a crush for the teenaged Carr on a new character named Jake.

Oliver Savell, Shaun Dooley and Colin Salmon star in Changing Ends season 3 ITV / Babycow Productions

It asks: “Does love struck Alan suppress this crush or shout about it from the rooftops?”

“Whatever happens, it’s going to be tough as Alan has the thankless task of navigating the adolescent minefields that are sleepovers, swimming lessons and nights out with the boys – and the girls.

“But it’s not all doom and gloom as some unexpected allies give Alan a much-needed glimpse of a hopeful future and they’re not a million miles away from his own doorstep.”

Changing Ends seasons 1-2 are available on ITVX. Season 3 premieres on ITV1 at 10:05pm on Sunday 23rd November 2025.

The Celebrity Traitors final review: Treachery and tears make for TV perfection

by jummy84 November 7, 2025
written by jummy84

Warning: this article contains spoilers for the final of The Celebrity Traitors. Add it to your watchlist.

Finally, we have a winner, and it’s watch-in-real-time, unstreamed, un-binged TV. It’s a rare and beautiful thing in 2025 to sit staring at the screen, knowing millions around the country are sitting on similar edges of seats, waiting to find out which of the five remaining players will emerge triumphant of The Celebrity Traitors.

And what did we get? With only five left from the original 19 who entered the castle — two Traitors, three Faithful — it was all about alliances. Joe and Nick were in such cahoots working out how to oust the others, I spent the first hour wishing one of them had turned out to be a Traitor. Instead, the second best moment of the night came another way, with Nick ultimately joining the others in banishing Joe – could you hear your neighbours shouting at the screen?!

That was the warm-up for the best, biggest twist of all, when Alan Carr came through as the final, solitary traitor left standing, telling the others, almost sadly, “I am, and have always been, a Traitor.” Nick collapsed, David sighed, Alan cried and the sweet Faithful pair ended up comforting him in his moment of guilty triumph. It was perfect, must-watch TV.

BBC

Following another effortlessly successful daytime mission that proved the celebs to be far better at physical challenges than they have ever been at unearthing Traitors, it was all about the penultimate Round Table. You know a show has fulfilled its promise of surprising us when one of the country’s premier historians is reduced to role of “useful idiot”, but that’s where David Olusoga found himself – stuck in the middle as Faithful Joe and Nick battled to outwit Alan and Cat.

All that classical training and scholarship served Olusoga not – ultimately, he just didn’t have the skills, or possibly stomach, to either betray or sniff out the treachery around him, which doesn’t really reflect that badly on him, I suppose. Instead, Joe’s strength of purpose saw Cat disposed of, but that same zeal proved his undoing at the very last Round Table, as Alan used all his powers of persuasion to unsettle others’ doubts in the big man, and clear his way to victory.

So now, after five weeks and nine episodes, the ravens have left the castle, the drawbridge has been pulled up, the last of the faithful banished and the traitors unearthed. There have been some prize moments along the way: Celia Imrie’s wind proving she has a pro’s comedic timing in all things; Claire Balding’s disastrous attempt to participate in not commentate on a sporting challenge; the unprecedented nation-stopping Round Table stalemate between David and Mark Bonnar. All will be remembered, but none so powerfully as the two moments that bookended the series — both starring Alan.

The first came when the third Traitor was initially unearthed, and even his fellow conspirators laughed out loud; the second when he was finally revealed to the Faithful, a moment set to become a nation-sweeping meme. The Chatty Man’s presence as a giggling assassin in plain sight set the tone for the whole series, and Alan’s charm could explain why the faithful were jaw-droopingly inept in unearthing the Traitors in their midst, and also why they were so quick to forgive him for his treachery. There he stood — emotional, funny, no longer deadly – in a fitting end to a series that has confounded any fears a celebrity version would dilute the simple human premise — betray or be betrayed — at the heart of it. What will we all do now?

Who are Roman and Harleymoon Kemp? Meet Celebrity Race Across the World 2025 contestants

by jummy84 November 6, 2025
written by jummy84

Celebrity Race Against the World is back for another season, bringing a whole new set of celebs and family members on a continent-spanning adventure.

This season’s route will see the contestants starting off on a Caribbean island before making their way through a series of checkpoints on their way to the finish line in Colombia’s Peninsula de La Guajira – known as the gateway to South America.
As with previous seasons of the show, the celebs are given a budget of the price of plane ticket if they were to fly the same route, which this time around sees them surviving on as a little as £30 a day – one of the smallest budgets the show has seen to date. They are also not allowed access to smart phones or the internet to help them navigate their journey.

As they compete alongside the other celebrity contestants to make it to the initial checkpoint first, here’s everything you need to know about contestants and siblings Roman and Harleymoon Kemp.

Who are Roman and Harleymoon?

Roman and Harleymoon Kemp. BBC/Studio Lambert

Relationship: Brother and sister

From: London

Jobs: Radio DJ and singer/songwriter

Instagram: @romankemp and @harleymoonkemp

Roman Kemp is a 32-year-old radio DJ and presenter, best known for hosting the breakfast show on CapitalFM from 2017 to 2024.

He is taking part in the race alongside his older sister, 36-year-old Harleymoon, who is a singer/songwriter. Roman and Harleymoon are the children of musicians Martin Kemp and Shirlie Holliman, who independently found success in the ’80s as part of the bands Spandeau Ballet and Wham! respectively.
Roman struggled with the language whilst racing through the South American continent, telling Radio Times magazine that he kept “mistakenly telling everyone Harley was ‘my beautiful’ – mi hermosa – instead of ‘my sister’ – mi hermana – for at least a week.”

Why did Roman and Harleymoon want to take part in Celebrity Race Across the World?

When asked if he had considered taking his famous dad rather than his sister on the show with him, Roman only had one thing to say: “No way!”

He continued: “I am very lucky that I do a lot of stuff with my dad, and I think that the reason I do those things is I can’t wait to show my kids or my grandkids what my relationship was like with my dad. With this, it’s such a privilege to be able to do something so special with your sister.

“It’s such a privilege to be able to have that and to also show that to future generations and to share an experience. The other side of it is for personal reasons, travelling and seeing new places and seeing different cultures or being in certain experiences has such a great impact on my perspective and what life is about.”

Harleymoon also revealed to Radio Times magazine that their mum had previously been asked to go on the show.

“My mum [Shirlie Kemp, a former backing singer for Wham! and half of Pepsi & Shirlie] was asked to be in the first celebrity Race across the World and was going to take me, but thought it sounded too hard. I was glad to have another chance to go,” she said.

The first episode of Celebrity Race Across the World series 3 will air tonight on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 8pm.

Celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar shares ‘3 small lifestyle habits’ that can make a big impact on your health

by jummy84 November 5, 2025
written by jummy84

In our fast-paced lives, we often focus on the big, dramatic changes, detox plans, crash diets, or intense fitness routines, thinking that’s the only way to improve our health. But the truth is, it’s often the little, everyday habits that quietly shape how we feel, how much energy we have, and how our body functions over time.

Rujuta Diwekar shares simple tips for better health without major changes.

Celebrity nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar, who has worked with stars like Kareena Kapoor, shared in her November 5 Instagram post 3 simple habits that can make a big impact on your health, without turning your life upside down. (Also read: Nutritionist shares how you can hit your daily 10,000 steps goal at home in 60 minutes with easy exercises )

1. Food: Bring root vegetables back

Rujuta’s first tip is simple: include root vegetables in your weekly diet at least three times. Think arbi, konfa, suran, rataru, foods from the farm and forest that have been largely forgotten in the era of broccoli, arugula, avocado, and asparagus.

“Why bring these back? First, for their antioxidant activity,” she explains. “If you’re feeling low this winter, antioxidants help prevent congestion, runny noses, and dry skin and scalp. They keep you feeling warm, bright, and healthy from the inside.” Second, root vegetables work as prebiotics. “If winter has left you with bloating or gas, these will help fix your gut health in a simple, natural way.”

And third, they support hormonal health. “Whether it’s perimenopause, menopause, irregular periods, or even trying to get pregnant, including these root vegetables in your diet, at breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even as an evening snack can help regulate hormones.”

Rujuta promises that in the coming weeks, she’ll share recipes to include these vegetables in a wholesome, tasty way, but in the meantime, your mom’s kitchen likely already has everything you need.

2. Exercise: The evening ‘scroll’

Rujuta’s second tip is all about movement, but it’s not intense. “It’s a light, easy stroll in the evening or post-dinner, just before bed. Make sure it’s a stroll, not a brisk walk. You should be able to hum your favourite song as you do it. No getting out of breath,” she says.

In India, this is called Shata Pavli; in the West, it’s humorously known as the ‘Fart Walk’. “It helps digestion, releases excess gas, improves sleep, and is especially beneficial for people with high fasting sugars,” Rujuta explains. A simple 10-minute post-dinner walk can make a huge difference over time.

3. Sleep and screen time

Finally, Rujuta stresses the importance of disconnecting from gadgets. “Stay away from screens for 30 minutes before bedtime and 30 minutes after waking up. This helps your body sync with natural rhythms, allows you to process your day, delete unnecessary mental clutter, and feel more like yourself. It’s simple but incredibly effective for mental and physical well-being.”

“None of this requires fancy equipment or investment, just a little commitment and awareness,” she adds. “Don’t wait for a health issue to start caring for yourself. Small, consistent habits now prevent bigger problems later.”

The Best Celebrity Halloween Costumes Of All Time

by jummy84 November 3, 2025
written by jummy84

Is it any wonder that celebrities consistently deliver some of the best Halloween costumes year after year? Celebrity halloween costumes, each year, just get better and better, with their talent for character play on full, fantastical display. After all, the ability to transform themselves into new, memorable roles is the lynchpin of most entertainers’s careers. Whether on Instagram or at Heidi Klum’s infamous annual Halloween party, the stars have offered no shortage of dazzling disguises and over-the-top ensembles.

In some cases, the best celebrity Halloween costumes have also become instantly iconic. Consider, for example, Kim Kardashian and her daughter North’s Clueless-inspired costumes designed by Dolce & Gabbana in 2023. Or, Kylie Jenner’s haute bride of Frankenstein moment care of Jean Paul Gaultier in 2022. In both cases, the recreations were so spot-on that even the most careful viewer might have been briefly fooled.

Of course, there have been plenty of other impeccable impersonations from other A-listers as well—including Lizzo as Marge Simpson, Hailey Bieber as Britney Spears, Rihanna as the rapper Gunna, and Margot Robbie as Ginger Spice. And who could forget when Bella Hadid dressed as Winona Ryder in Beetlejuice, Cardi B embodied Medusa, and a heavily pregnant Emily Ratajkowski mimicked Demi Moore’s legendary Vanity Fair cover shoot? Within the last decades, there have also been multiple (and stellar) iterations of Morticia Addams, Jessica Rabbit, Marilyn Monroe, and Sandy from Grease.

Just last year saw unexpected costumes that were just as winning. Doja Cat transformed herself into a sunflower; Kim Kardashian, an albino alligator. Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, meanwhile, went full Alice in Wonderland.

2025’s H’ween offerings saw the stars go just as hard: Paris Hilton revisited Britney Spears and took on Madonna and Catwoman, while Keke Palmer sweetly recruited her son to channel Snoop Dogg and Bow Wow. There were more memes and niche pop culture references too: Mindy Kahling emulated a hyped-up Timothée Chalamet cheering on his beloved New York Knicks, and Demi Lovato (already our 2025 winner?) resurrected Poot Lovato. The Biebers—Justin, Hailey, and Jack Blues—brought some swag to The Incredibles

Here, we revisit those and many more of the best celebrity Halloween costumes over the years. One thing is certain: a good costume always elicits delight and—when they are really good—also a fair share of fright. Either way, they are sure to help you come up with some killer costume ideas of your own. Happy hauntings!
