April 30, 2024: Blanco shares yet another recipe he makes to “get laid.” The producer posted an Instagram video about his signature steak, which is apparently an aphrodisiac to Gomez.
“I woke up early this morning, and I was like, ‘I want to do something nice for my girlfriend,’” he says in the video. “I was thinking, Whenever I want to put a smile on her face or get laid, I just make her steak.”
If you think Gomez was offended, she wasn’t. The 31-year-old commented a single red heart emoji on Blanco’s video.
I’m no chef, but I wonder if fried pickles might pair well with steak…
April 25, 2024: Blanco opens up about the start of his relationship with Gomez in a new interview with the Wall Street Journal magazine.
“I was the last one to know,” Blanco said of his feelings for Gomez. “It’s crazy how your partner could just be sitting there the whole time, right in front of your eyes, and you don’t even notice, and then you have that Clueless moment where you’re like, Wait, I’m in love.”
March 11, 2024: The couple celebrated Blanco’s 36th birthday with Gomez’s longtime friends Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham.
Nicola shared a few snaps from the evening, which apparently included a dress code. “Benny says dress up and we delivaaaa 💅🏼🍸💋,” she captioned a handful of photos of her and Gomez embracing.
February 25, 2024: Following Blanco’s barefoot date-night snafu, the producer trolled haters with a pickle pedicure that seemed to be inspired by his girlfriend.
Nail artist Tahvya shared a photo of the incredibly intricate pickle designs, which included the Best Maid logo on Blanco’s big toe. The Best Maid detail is likely a reference to Blanco’s TikTok video about making fried pickles for Gomez on Valentine’s Day.
