Tomb Raider Series Adds Martin Bobb-Semple

With Sophie Turner already confirmed to play Lara Croft, the other castmembers of Amazon Prime Video‘s upcoming “Tomb Raider” live-action series are slowly being assembled as production gears up to start in January.

Variety has learned that Martin Bobb-Semple, the rising British star most recently seen in a recurring role on The CW’s “All American: Homecoming,” has joined the series, based on the iconic video game series. While details are under wraps, it’s understood to be as a series regular and a major role for the Londoner.

As previously reported, Phoebe Waller–Bridge will serve as creator, writer, and executive producer on the series, which has been in development at Prime Video since early 2023 and was officially greenlit in May 2024. Chad Hodge has also boarded the show as executive producer and co-showrunner alongside Waller-Bridge. Jonathan van Tulleken will serve as director and executive producer. Shooting is due to begin Jan. 19.

Bobb-Semple was most recently seen as the series regular, Orlando “Lando” Johnson, in “All American: Homecoming.” Starting as a recurring character, he was upped to a series lead in season 3. Before that, he starred in two seasons of Peacock’s “One of Us is Lying,” and was a series lead in “Free Reign” for Netflix. Starting from a young age, his first role was in London’s West End, before he trained at the famed Identity School of Acting. From there, he shortly booked his first TV role for the BBC.

The “Tomb Raider” series is executive produced by Crystal Dynamics; Waller-Bridge and Jenny Robins via Wells Street Productions; Dmitri M. Johnson, Mike Goldberg and Timothy I. Stevenson of Story Kitchen; Michael Scheel; Hodge; van Tulleken; and Legendary Television. The series is produced by Story Kitchen, Crystal Dynamics and Amazon MGM Studios. Waller-Bridge is currently under an overall deal at Amazon MGM Studios.

The show was developed under a pact between Crystal Dynamics and Amazon MGM Studios which comes via Story Kitchen’s first-look deal with the studio to develop additional “Tomb Raider” stories into series and films.

Bobb-Semple is repped by Identity Agency Group.

Dhurandhar Love Song Gehra Hua Out! Arijit Singh’s Soulful Voice Adds Depth To Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun’s Sweet Romance- Watch

written by jummy84

After the massive cultural impact of the Dhurandhar Title Track and the chart-topping Ishq Jalakar – Karvaan, Saregama, in association with Jio Studios and B62 Studios, have unveiled the film’s most awaited romantic song – Gehra Hua. Sung by the undisputed voice of love, Arijit Singh, the track features the budding sweet romance between Ranveer Singh and Sara Arjun’s characters.

Dhurandhar Love Song Gehra Hua Out

Gehra Hua is poised to become one of the year’s defining love anthems. It’s not just a song but a feeling, a mood, and an emotion designed to rule romantic playlists and tender moments through the season. With its soul-stirring melody and vocals, the song perfectly captures the intensity of a love that is deep, consuming, obsessive — and impossible to forget. Check it out here:

While the Dhurandhar trailer stunned audiences with its scale and intensity, it had only offered fleeting glimpses of the film’s emotional core – the pairing of Ranveer Singh and Sara Arjun. Gehra Hua now brings that story to the forefront, giving audiences their first immersive look into the powerful, magnetic bond that anchors the film’s narrative.

The on-screen chemistry between Ranveer and Sara crackles with an intensity that is both intimate and addictive, making the song an instant emotional hook for listeners. The track dives into the intoxicating nature of love that consumes you, breaks you, and yet draws you back every single time.

With winter setting in and romance in the air, Gehra Hua arrives as the perfect soundtrack for late-night drives, stolen glances, and quiet love-filled moments, making it a natural addition to every romantic playlist this season.

About the Film

Dhurandhar features a stellar ensemble cast headlined by Ranveer Singh, along with Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal. Dhurandhar is written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar, and produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar. Dhurandhar is slated to release on 5th December 2025.

Chrisean Rock Says She’s Done Co-Parenting After Blueface Allegedly ‘Stomped Her Out, Adds She’s Getting Married

Okay, y’all, #ChriseanRock and Blueface might be done…for real time.

Giving fans a life update, Chrisean Rock revealed on an IG livestream that she’s back home in #Baltimore and has no plans to return to #LosAngeles unless there’s a check involved. The reality star has been in the headlines recently after what looked like a brief rekindling with Blue following his prison release. But things unraveled fast: Chrisean once again accused him of abuse, and Blue has since moved on to Love & Hip Hop alum #HazelE.

“If you want to see me, come to Baltimore,” #Chrisean said. “I just bought acres of land, I’m building a foundation, a compound, I’m getting married…I’m out the way on purpose, bruh.” When discussing where things stand with Blue, she didn’t hold back. “I’m happy where I’m at, I’m happy with who I’m with. …I got stomped out in his kitchen, that’s the last time me and my son will ever be around that. …I’m not doing no co-parenting if my life is on the line.”

Is #Blueface truly out of the picture, or is this just another chapter in their saga?

Kelly Clarkson Adds More 2026 Dates to Las Vegas Residency

by jummy84 November 3, 2025
written by jummy84

Ahead of her return to Las Vegas this week, Kelly Clarkson has announced a new set of summer 2026 dates for her “Studio Sessions” residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Clarkson has added four new dates for next August to her calendar, to go along with the six 2026 shows she’d already announced. The run will start July 17 and end Aug. 15. Tickets for the newly added dates will go on sale Nov. 7 at 10 a.m. PT, with a presale scheduled to start Nov. 5 at 10 a.m. PT. A limited number of tickets for Clarkson’s previously announced concerts are on sale now.

Clarkson announced her Studio Sessions residency earlier this year but abruptly postponed the run’s first few shows hours before opening night, July 4. In an Instagram post, Clarkson said preparing for the shows had “taken a toll” on her voice, and that she needed to rest to prevent “doing serious damage.”

Clarkson did return the following weekend as planned and performed eight gigs at the Colosseum, but then had to step away again in early August after revealing that her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, was ill. Blackstock died on Aug. 7, with the cause later revealed to be melanoma, a type of skin cancer.

In the months after Blackstock’s death, Clarkson kept a low profile but has steadily returned to the public eye. In late September, she returned to her daytime talk show, opening the episode with a cover of the Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights.” She’s set to return to the stage later this week, Nov. 7, for the first of four previously scheduled Studio Sessions shows. The other gigs will take place Nov. 8, 14, and 15.

Rock Hall Ceremony Adds Chappell, Donald Glover

by jummy84 October 30, 2025
written by jummy84

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony just got a lot more crowded. Ahead of the Nov. 8 extravaganza in Los Angeles, 17 additional presenters and performers have been confirmed, including Chappell Roan, the Killers, Donald Glover, Jim Carrey, Avril Lavigne and Janelle Monáe.

The list is rounded out by Bryan Adams, En Vogue, Feist, Gina Schock, Hurby Luv Bug Azor, Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, the Revolution’s Lisa Coleman, Mick Fleetwood, Heart’s Nancy Wilson, Nathaniel Rateliff and Tedeschi Trucks Band. Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready, Alice in Chains’ Jerry Cantrell and the Pretty Reckless’ Taylor Momsen are expected to perform with Soundgarden, based on rehearsal photos from drummer Matt Cameron on Instagram.

Roan will induct Cyndi Lauper, saying yesterday on social media that the artist “has inspired me with her fashion and her hair, and of course, her makeup, her music. I actually auditioned with ‘True Colors’ for America’s Got Talent when I was 13. I didn’t make it, but the song is still incredible. I’m so excited. Thanks for having me.”

Beyond Soundgarden and Lauper, this year’s induction class is comprised of Bad Company, Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, Outkast and the White Stripes. The event will be streamed live on Disney+. Next-day viewing will be available on Hulu, with an ABC special to follow on Jan. 1.

Among the previously announced performers and presenters are Beck, Brandi Carlile, David Letterman, Doja Cat, Elton John, Flea, Iggy Pop, J.I.D, Killer Mike, Maxwell, Missy Elliott, Olivia Rodrigo, Questlove, Raye, Sleepy Brown, Teddy Swims and Twenty One Pilots.

Outside the core inductions, Salt-N-Pepa and the late Warren Zevon will receive the Musical Influence Award, while hit-making R&B producer Thom Bell and studio musicians Nicky Hopkins and Carol Kaye will be honored with the Musical Excellence Award. The Ahmet Ertegun Award for impactful, non-performing industry professionals will be presented to former Warner Bros. Records president/DreamWorks co-founder Lenny Waronker.

Dave has added more dates in London and Manchester to his 2026 tour. Check out the details below.

Earlier this month the Brixton-born, Streatham-raised rapper shared details of a new tour kicking off in 2026. The run of arena dates come in celebration of his new album, ‘The Boy Who Played The Harp’, and are set to kick off in Munich on February 2.

Now, due to huge demand, he had added more UK shows to the itinerary. These include extra dates at The O2 in London on March 10 and 11, and another show at the Co-op Live in Manchester on March 17.

These add onto the two previously announced shows at the London arena taking place on March 6 and 7, and to the already confirmed Manchester date on March 16.

Tickets for all dates, including newly shared shows, go on general sale at 9am local time on Thursday (October 23). Visit here to buy tickets and find an updated list of shows below.

Dave announced details of his new album earlier this month (October 1), with the record set to arrive this Friday (October 24). You can pre-order it here.

It follows on from his back-to-back Number One albums, ‘Psychodrama’, which was released in 2019, and ‘We’re All Alone In This Together’, which came out in 2021.

The latter featured James Blake and Stormzy, and was given five stars in a review from NME.

Dave – CREDIT: Gabriel-Moses

“As illustrated throughout the stunning ‘Psychodrama’, Dave has always been the one to rap traditionally, using hip-hop for what it was intended to do: give a voice to the voiceless,” it read. “He has always been able to show the inner-workings of many young Londoners in a clean and universal way that can perhaps help the whole world to better understand the Black British experience, especially that of Black men.

“Always ready to tell the hard truths for those who can’t, Dave has proved again that he’s a voice of a generation, sitting pretty atop his peers when it comes to making unforgettable London rap classics.”

That record debuted at the top spot in the charts with over 74,000 chart sales – making it the highest opening week of 2021, and the chart’s biggest opening week since November 2019.

Hailee Steinfeld’s ‘Almond Latte Mani’ Adds a Shot of Espresso to Fall Nail Trends

by jummy84 October 18, 2025
written by jummy84

Looking for minimalist fall nails with a bit more oomph than the milk bath manis that have been dominating 2025 nail trends? Add a (small) shot of espresso like Hailee Steinfeld.

On October 16, Tom Bachick debuted his latest take on the nude nail trend, revealing the 28-year-old newlywed’s fresh “Skim Milk Almond Latte Mani” on Instagram. Just like the blueberry milk, milky rose, and matcha latte nails that came before it, the name is derived from the shade used to achieve the look. In this case, Bachick chose a polish that resembles a creamy latte with a healthy dose of almond milk, not to be confused with deeper shades of brown like mocha mousse or straight-up espresso.

The beauty of this nude nail look lies in its versatility, pairing well with any outfit without feeling quite as stripped down as the barely-there manicures that celebs have been favoring well past summer. And yet, it’s pretty much as minimalistic as you can get without opting for a completely sheer look, avoiding the iridescent finishes that create the toasted effect that’s been so popular this fall.

And while the color itself is a mix of almond milk and espresso, Steinfeld also opted for an elegant mid-length almond shape, adding a second meaning to the moniker.

written by jummy84

Bill Nye the Science Guy is adding TV guest star to his already impressive resume. The science icon and advocate will appear as himself on Tuesday’s episode of “High Potential” on ABC.

Nye will offer his science knowledge to help out “High Potential” star Kaitlin Olson’s character Morgan Gillory in a “Morgan Vision,” guiding her one step closer to solving the episode’s case.

In Season 1, Gillory was a janitor at the LAPD but become a full-time consultant after solving a murder case and impressing everyone with her IQ of 160. The show premiered in the fall of 2024 and was renewed for a second season in January ahead of the season finale. It was a hit at ABC and averaged 16 million viewers per episode, with the series premiere racking up more than 30 million views by the time it was renewed.

Nye is best known for hosting the popular educational program “Bill Nye the Science Guy” in the ’90s. Since then, he’s also had a Netflix series titled “Bill Nye Saves the World” and a Peacock show “The End Is Nye.” He’s appeared on other shows like “The Big Bang Theory,” “The Masked Singer,” “Dancing With the Stars,” “Blindspot” and more.

Along with Olson, “High Potential” also stars Daniel Sunjata, Javicia Leslie, Deniz Akdeniz as, Amirah J, Matthew Lamb and Judy Reyes. The show is based on the French series “Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (HPI).” Drew Goddard developed the series for American television and serves as executive producer via Goddard Textiles along with Sarah Esberg. Todd Harthan serves as showrunner and executive producer. Olson is a producer on the series in addition to starring. 20th Television produces, with Harthan currently under an overall deal at the studio.

Music Festival Brand Breakaway Adds Two Executives to Ownership Group

by jummy84 October 9, 2025
written by jummy84

Independent live entertainment brand Breakaway is expanding its leadership team with two new partners: Cultural entrepreneur Shaun Neff and entertainment executive Nick Gross, who have officially joined Breakaway’s ownership group, it was announced Wednesday (Oct. 8). It’s a move that underscores the company’s ambition to scale beyond festivals into music, media and lifestyle ventures.

The announcement follows a milestone year for Breakaway, which in 2025 staged its largest festival season yet: With events across 12 U.S. cities, it became the nation’s largest multi-city touring festival. Earlier this year, the company launched Breakaway Projects, a record label and artist management arm dedicated to nurturing emerging talent aligned with the brand’s creative DNA.

“Bringing Shaun and Nick into the Breakaway family is like adding rocket fuel to everything we’ve been building,” said Adam Lynn, Breakaway’s co-founder and CEO, in a statement. “They understand Breakaway’s broader strategic vision — evolving beyond live events by developing new formats and engaging audiences across multiple platforms. As Breakaway evolves, we’re building a team that reflects that direction.”

Breakaway chief revenue officer William Van Orsdel added, “Breakaway isn’t just a festival anymore — it’s a movement. We’re proud of the culture we’re building and even more proud of the ownership group we’ve assembled to take us to the next level.”

Neff and Gross bring a blend of creative entrepreneurship and industry experience that mirrors Breakaway’s cross-platform ambitions.

Neff, best known as the founder of Neff Headwear, built his reputation through collaborations with icons like Snoop Dogg, Kevin Durant and Wiz Khalifa before co-founding Beach House Group, the brand incubator behind celebrity ventureslike Moon Oral Care with Kendall Jenner, Pattern with Tracee Ellis Ross, BÉIS with Shay Mitchell and Florence by Mills with Millie Bobby Brown. He was also part-owner of Sun Bum, which was acquired by SC Johnson in 2019, and now sits in the ownership groups of both X Games and Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC).

“Breakaway has already built something powerful — a national platform that resonates with Gen Z culture,” said Neff. “Our goal now is to scale that foundation intentionally, and expand in a way that deepens cultural relevance and community connection.”

For his part, Gross — through his Gross Labs umbrella — operates Big Noise, the record label he co-founded with producer John Feldmann; Find Your Grind, an edtech and career discovery platform for K-12 students; and Noise Nest Studios, his content and recording facility in Los Angeles. Gross’ portfolio spans investments across sports, entertainment and lifestyle ventures, including Tiger Woods’ TGL Golf League, X Games and Oklahoma City’s professional soccer franchise. As a musician himself, Gross has toured globally with Avril Lavigne and Machine Gun Kelly.

“The mission is clear: amplify artists, empower fans, and break the mold,” Gross said in a statement. “That’s what drew me to Breakaway.”

Lynn added that expanding ownership to include creative entrepreneurs like Neff and Gross is a deliberate move to strengthen Breakaway’s foundation for the future. “We’re not just building festivals,” he said. “We’re building a brand that can live across every medium — from stages to screens to the products people use every day.”
