When Pawan Kalyan’s They Call Him OG was released in theaters on September 25, one thing caught fans by surprise! Neha Shetty’s sizzling number was missing from the action entertainer. Neither the filmmakers nor the actress officially spoke about the song, but it was widely reported about the development when the number was shot. The actress too shared photos from the sets back but never mentioned that the pictures were from an OG song. And recently, at the film’s success press conference, when director Sujeeth was asked why the song was missing from the film, he replied, “Did we ever say that we shot such a song.”

Special song appears during pre-climax

The filmmakers felt that the special song would affect the flow of the narrative and hence dropped it from the final cut. But it was an afterthought to bring it back. The special song features Neha Shetty sizzling in a peppy track, which will reportedly appear at the pre-climax part of the film. Although the actress doesn’t share screen space with Pawan Kalyan, fans find the song appealing enough for theatrical attraction.

Will Oasis Add More Dates to Their Blockbuster Tour?

by jummy84 September 15, 2025
written by jummy84

Back in 1994, Oasis‘ first U.S. tour didn’t go very well. After a legendarily disastrous, crystal-meth-fueled performance at Los Angeles’ Whisky a Go Go, they canceled nine shows. Twenty-one years later, things are a little different: The reunited band just blazed through five sold-out stadium concerts in the States that seemed to have more cultural impact than many other acts’ year-long runs, with grown men weeping, strangers embracing, and U.K. flags waving in New Jersey’s swamplands.

In the new episode of Rolling Stone Music Now, Andy Greene joins host Brian Hiatt for a discussion of Oasis’ triumphant U.S. stint, and all that preceded it. The chat also touches on the band’s possible future, including inevitable speculation about a new album and more tour dates.

We try to figure out just how Oasis got so big during their years off, pondering the fact that the band’s songs have somehow gained relevance over the last couple of decades. We also look at the collective hunger for live rock, the lack of new stadium-level bands, and the fact that Sixties and Seventies classic rock bands are starting to fade away. Another obvious point: So many legendary Gen X bands have lost key members, but Oasis have managed to stick around.

Along the way, the episode includes relevant selections from Noel and Liam Gallagher‘s previous appearances on Rolling Stone Music Now, in 2023 and 2017, respectively. To hear the whole episode, go here for the podcast provider of your choice, listen on Apple Podcasts or Spotify, or just press play above. Some highlights follow:

Noel explains why he wanted to sing lead vocals on either “Wonderwall” or “Don’t Look Back in Anger.” “Liam at the time had got into the habit of walking offstage,” says Noel. “I would always have to finish the fucking gig because there would be a riot if he didn’t finish it. And I thought, ‘I better start writing a few songs for me to sing in case this kind of thing carries on happening.’ I kind of got the sense that both those songs were gonna be big, and I remember saying, ‘I’m singing one or the other.’ He didn’t like ‘Wonderwall’ when he heard it. In fact, he fucking hated it, as did pretty much everyone else until somebody from a record label came down and went, ‘Whoa, that’s the song that’s gonna make us all fucking rich and famous.’ And then he changed his mind and was like, ‘Well, you know, I’ll sing that one then.’ And I sang ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’…. I’m glad I chose that one. I think ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ is a better song.”

Editor’s picks

Liam explains why he ignores memes and jokes about “Wonderwall.”  ”It’s not a joke to me, man,” he says. “But if people have a laugh at it, feel free. It’s a free world, man. Yeah. But when I sing it, it ain’t no joke, man. I’m doing it for real…. It’s been good to me and I’ve been good to it.”

Noel says people shouldn’t expect him to write the same kind of songs he did in the Nineties. “ I’m not fucking 27 anymore,” he says. “I was 27 once and I fucking changed people’s lives. You can’t carry on doing it. Did it once, twice, even three times even…. Bob Dylan’s the fucking same. Bob Dylan, that guy changed the course of fucking history with those first three albums. You don’t do that anymore. He’ll tell you, even if he wanted to write ‘Like a Rolling Stone’ now, he couldn’t do it, ’cause he’s not that guy.”

Trending Stories

Liam defends the band’s sometimes-maligned third album, Be Here Now. “I like that album,” he says. “I think it’s a great album. I guess in hindsight it could have been better, but what’s hindsight mean when you’re living the dream? You’re doing it in the moment, aren’t you.  We know we took our eye off the ball a little bit, but we’d been grafting since Definitely Maybe. Money started coming in. Buying houses and cars and nice clothes and that… You feel a bit fearless. We were probably drinking too much and, you know, other things, but fuck it. We’d been grafting our asses off, so it’s time to have a bit of a party. We thought, ‘Rock & roll will take care of itself.’ And it kind of did.”

Monsoon friendl Malunggay Pesto Pasta: Here’s how to add a healthy twist to your favourite pasta recipe

by jummy84 September 3, 2025
written by jummy84

There’s something magical about a bowl of pasta on a rainy day. The steam rising off the plate, the comforting bite of al dente noodles, the silky sauce that clings to every strand — it’s the kind of food that feels like a hug. But here’s the dilemma: while pasta is soul food, it doesn’t always feel like the healthiest option when you’re trying to keep an eye on your waistline. Enter moringa pesto pasta, the green goddess of rainy-day meals.

Malunggay Pesto Pasta(Rezel Kealoha)

Moringa — also called malunggay — isn’t just a buzzword ingredient; it’s a nutritional powerhouse. Packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and a whole lot of leafy green goodness, it makes for a surprisingly delicious twist in a creamy pesto sauce. And the best part? This version is dairy-free, nutty, and vibrant without being heavy. The recipe is from Astig Vegan.

Malunggay Pesto Pasta
Malunggay Pesto Pasta

What you’ll need

200 grams of spaghetti, linguine, or fettuccine, 1 tbsp of moringa, 10 to 12 basil leaves, ¾ cup plant-based milk, ¼ cup almonds (or any nuts, your pick), 1 tsp sea salt and 2 tsps of lemon juice

How to whip it up

First, boil your pasta until perfectly al dente. While that’s bubbling away, blitz the moringa, basil, olive oil, milk, nuts, salt, and lemon juice in a blender until it turns into a creamy green sauce. Taste and tweak — maybe more lemon if you like it zippy, maybe more olive oil if you want it silkier. Toss it with your pasta and let the strands soak up all that green magic.

Here’s a little secret: if nuts feel too pricey or hard to find, you can skip them. Add a splash more milk and oil to make up for the creaminess. It won’t be quite as rich, but it will still taste fresh and satisfying.

So the next time you’re craving comfort food without the guilt, give this moringa pesto pasta a spin. It’s wholesome, fun, and just the thing to brighten up a gloomy monsoon evening.

6 healthy ways to add honey to your diet: How to differentiate between raw and processed honey | Health

by jummy84 August 24, 2025

Honey has long been associated as a natural sweetener, with people looking at it as an alternative to sugar. But is honey all it is, the replacement friend you turn to when your besties aren’t around? Its health benefits could do more than just safely satisfy your sweet tooth.

Honey has many healthy properties, from antibacterial to being a great remedy for a sore throat.(Shutterstock)

Suvarna Sawant, chief dietitian and HoD, clinical nutrition and dietetics, Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital, Mumbai, told HT Lifestyle that honey has many benefits.

Talking about its antibacterial and wound-healing abilities, she elaborated, “Honey fights germs by pulling the water away from microbes by osmosis, it is naturally acidic (low pH), and when exposed to moisture, it releases small amounts of hydrogen peroxide, which is considered a mild disinfectant. Honey has been used as a dressing on burns, ulcers and difficult-to-heal wounds. “

Other than sharing unusual first-aid properties, honey also improves sore throat and boosts digestion. The dietician added, “Honey mixed with warm water and lemon is an ideal remedy for sore throats and cough. Likewise, honey is also a great source of energy, with one tablespoon offering about 64 calories. It is also beneficial for the gut bacteria.”

6 ways to add honey to your regular diet

Honey can be included in your diet in many productive ways, and not just as a substitute, but as the hero ingredient, bringing in many benefits.

Suvarna listed out 6 ways to add honey easily to your meals:

  1. Stir 1 tsp honey into warm water with lemon (nimbu-honey paani) in the morning.
  • Honey + curd (dahi) bowl: Add fresh seasonal fruit (banana, chikoo, strawberries) for a quick snack.
  • On roti/chapati or toast at breakfast, you can also add a pinch of dalchini (cinnamon).
  • A teaspoon in warm milk at bedtime for a soothing finish to the day.
  • Mix a spoon into herbal chai/tulsi infusion or simple warm water before a workout for quick energy.
  • Lemon–honey gargle/tea when your throat feels scratchy (sip, don’t scald).

Which is better- raw or processed honey?

Now, since we are going down the rabbit hole of honey, from health benefits to meal options, let’s also take a closer look at the source of the honey, and which is better: raw or processed, for you.

The dietician weighed in on this and declared raw honey as healthy. “Raw honey is considered to be healthier as compared to processed honey. Its ability to fight off germs comes from a bee enzyme (glucose oxidase),” she added more about the advantage of raw honey.

Processed honey may not contain the antibacterial properties of raw honey, as Suvarna emphasised, “Due to heat and light, this enzyme and other bioactive compounds slowly degrade, so the processed, over-heated honey ends up losing most of its antibacterial ability and soothing effect. Processed honey is certainly better in taste and texture, but raw honey is comparatively superior for functional benefits.”

What does raw honey look like?

Further confirming this, a honey expert, Yusuf Galabhaiwala, Founder of HoneyAllDay, also shared with us that raw honey is better. Because it is not heated, its original taste and thickness remain intact.

Distinguishing between raw and processed honey, he said, “Raw honey may look cloudy or crystallise with time, but that’s completely normal. Those are signs that it hasn’t been processed. Processed honey is made to look perfect, clear, smooth, and pourable. But to achieve that, it’s heated and filtered heavily. In the process, it loses most of what makes honey special. The taste becomes flat, and the natural benefits are reduced.”

To be healthy, organic, raw honey is suitable, as it retains all the natural enzymes, nutrients, and antibacterial properties.

Hailey Bieber’s Low-Rise Cropped Jeans Are Instant ‘Add to Cart’

by jummy84 August 21, 2025
written by jummy84

Hailey Bieber versus my bank account, round one million? Yep, we’re being influenced again!

The Rhode founder stepped out in Brentwood with her supermodel bestie, Kendall Jenner, and a few other friends for a shopping trip on August 20. The 28-year-old carried an iced coffee, while a man (okay, a bodyguard) carried her shopping bags just slightly out of frame. Upon seeing the photo, my first thought was a snarky little “stars, they’re just like us!” quip, but in Bieber’s case, this might actually be true.

Sure, she may have just sold her skincare company for $1 billion, but according to the photo agency Backgrid, Bieber, Jenner, and their entourage shopped at Brandy Melville, the beloved-by-tween-girls mall brand whose problematic sizing and hiring practices earned it its very own exposé-style documentary (a rite of passage for any must-have teen brand). And she did so while wearing blue jeans and a white tank top, a.k.a. the laidback LA girl uniform. Who among us hasn’t had the exact same Saturday afternoon?

SOVE, SPOT, GEVA, BUFR

Of course, this isn’t your average jeans-and-a-tank look. Bieber’s choice in denim signals a key fall trend: Baggy, super low-rise denim that, rather than pooling around the ankles and dragging along the ground, is cropped at the ankle. The key to the trend is a relaxed fit that hangs off the hips. Bieber’s indigo-wash pair is unfussy—sans distracting seams or superfluous pockets like the carpenter styles that have been so popular over the past few seasons—giving them a streamlined look that is perfectly aligned with Bieber’s minimalist Angeleno style.

Her white tank top is no slouch, either. ICYMI, the plain white or black camisole is the It Girl basic of choice these days, and brands like Tank Air and Éterne are filling the void with options ranging from $75 to $295. Of course, relative to the $500-plus options from fashion houses like Saint Laurent, Loewe, and Miu Miu, a $75 top is a steal. But perhaps Hailey Bieber is shopping for her tanks at Brandy Melville. She’s just like us, for real.
