Hailey Bieber’s ‘Glazed Donut Cat-Eye’ Nails Add Icing to the Perfect Winter Mani

by jummy84 November 16, 2025
written by jummy84

Did you know you could combine Hailey Bieber’s signature glazed donut nails with the season’s top manicure trend? Not only is it possible, but it results in the perfect winter nail look.

On October 27, Hailey and her husband, Justin Bieber, attended the longest World Series game in history, giving her plenty of time to show off a new nail look. A day later, Justin shared a couples’ selfie from the Los Angeles Dodgers game, though Justin himself was there to support the Toronto Blue Jays. In the picture, Hailey holds up her drink to the camera, giving fans a perfect look at an icy manicure that falls somewhere between a silvery blue ombré effect and a French manicure.

The look itself combines the chrome glazing technique that nail artist Zola Ganzorigt is known for with the cat-eye manicures everyone—including Hailey Bieber—has been going crazy for this fall.

Marlon & Shawn Wayans Add Family Members Damon Wayans Jr. & Kim Wayans To “Scary Movie 6” Cast

#ScaryMovie 6 is shaping up to be a true family affair!

The movie marks the franchise’s first return to the Wayans brothers (Marlon, Shawn, and Keenen Ivory) since Scary Movie 2 in 2001, and the cast just got even bigger. Damon Wayans Jr. and #KimWayans are officially joining the sixth installment, along with Heidi Gardner. Fan favorites Cheri Oteri and Chris Elliott, both of whom appeared in earlier films, have also signed on. Keeping it in the family, Keenen Ivory Wayans is reuniting with Marlon and Shawn to co-write the script, teaming up once again with longtime collaborator Rick Alvarez, who is also producing.

A few other familiar faces set to return include #ReginaHall, #AnnaFaris, Lochlyn Munro, and Jon Abrahams. For now, plot details are still under wraps, but the film is slated to be released on June 12, 2026.

Unrivaled, TNT Sports Add Fourth Night of Games for 2026 Season

by jummy84 November 12, 2025
written by jummy84

Women’s basketball league Unrivaled is expanding in its second season — both in its number of teams and its TV footprint.

The 3-on-3 league, co-founded by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, is adding a fourth night of games on TNT Sports for the coming season, which tips off Jan. 5. The league is also expanding to eight teams, up from six for its inaugural season earlier this year.

Games will air on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday throughout the eight-week season; TNT, TruTV and HBO Max will have the Friday and Monday contests, and Saturday and Sunday games will run on TruTV and HBO Max.

The additional night — last season didn’t have games on Sundays — allows Unrivaled to eliminate back-to-back games for its players. In the coming season, four teams will play on Friday and Sunday each week, and the other four will play on Saturday and Monday.

One of the things that I think our players credit us with the most is actually listening to them, and we want to keep them as healthy as humanly possible — not for not just for our league, but for the [WNBA] as well,” Unrivaled chief content officer John Learing told The Hollywood Reporter. “So when they did come to us and say that they would like us to consider ways to find some some some more [breaks in the schedule], it’s what our basketball ops team focused on probably more than anything in the offseason.”

TNT Sports’ Unrivaled telecasts will look somewhat different this season. Learing and TNT Sports executive vp and chief content officer Craig Barry told THR that the league’s purpose-built arena in Miami will feature more fans in the primary camera shots (last season, those shots were mostly of a large video wall) and bringing some more of TNT Sports’ long history televising basketball into the mix.

“We’re making a significantly larger contribution to the overall production presentation, because we want parity across all of our sports properties,” Barry told THR. “Not that it wasn’t good before — it just had room to grow and evolve.”

The changes to the arena setup are part of that, Barry noted: “The interesting thing about a small venue — especially a venue like that, where you have control of [the layout], the energy really is part of the primary driver of the presentation of the event. If you’ve been to that venue, the live energy is totally different while you’re there. The conversations that we’ve had [have focused on] the translation of that energy — we need to see it and feel it more through the screen.”

Unrivaled games averaged 221,000 viewers for TNT and TruTV simulcasts last season — a fraction of NBA or WNBA games on cable but a solid start for an entirely new league with a significantly different format (3-on-3 vs. 5-on-5) from other basketball leagues. Barry said the audience on TNT skewed about 60 percent female, significantly higher than for other women’s sports across linear TV.

“They’re finding their own audience, and they have a voice,” Barry said. “People are liking this product, and they’re going to find this league. That’s very reassuring when you’re creating something and looking for success.”

Unrivaled played all of its games in the 850-seat arena built for the league (and for TV production) last season, but it will on the road for one night in the coming season. On Jan. 30, two games (Breeze vs. Phantom and Rose vs. Lunar Owls) will take place at Philadelphia’s Xfinity Mobile Arena, home of the NBA’s 76ers. “I think it will be fascinating to see what this looks like in a giant arena,” said Learing.

He also said staying with TNT Sports for season two of Unrivaled was a “no-brainer” for the league. “We always wanted to stay. It made the most sense,” he said. “We’re a brand new league. We’re entering our second season, and I just think that we wanted to uncomplicate the search for our content as much as possible. And we already had the best partner we could imagine.”

The Beatles Biopics Add Anna Sawai, Mia McKenna-Bruce, Aimee Lou Wood

The Beatles Biopics Add Anna Sawai, Mia McKenna-Bruce, Aimee Lou Wood

by jummy84 November 2, 2025
written by jummy84

The women behind The Beatles have been revealed. Sony Pictures has announced four new cast additions to Sam Mendes’ four biopic films about The Beatles, confirming whom will portray the love interests for John, Paul, George, and Ringo.

Anna Sawai, best known for her breakout work in “Shogun,” is set to star as Yoko Ono. Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan, as previously reported, is playing Linda (Eastman) McCartney. Mia McKenna-Bruce, known for “How to Have Sex,” is playing Ringo’s partner Maureen (Cox) Starkey. And Aimee Lou Wood, a breakout from the most recent season of “The White Lotus,” is playing Pattie (Boyd) Harrison.

“Maureen, Linda, Yoko, and Pattie are four fascinating and unique figures in their own right — and I’m thrilled that we’ve managed to persuade four of the most talented women working in film today to join this amazing adventure,” Mendes said in a statement.

'Bugonia'

The four of them join a cast that also includes Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr.

While nearly all four of those women had been rumored to be among the cast for some time, Sony did give us a few more clues as to what other real-life characters might get some prominent roles in the films. The announcement says that actors portraying Cynthia Lennon, Brian Epstein, George Martin, Ravi Shankar, and other key roles will be forthcoming.

“The Beatles — A Four-Film Cinematic Event,” as it is officially titled for now, are being directed, written, and produced by Mendes through his Neal Street banner alongside Pippa Harris and Julie Pastor. Alexandra Derbyshire is also producing, and Sony Pictures is making the films in association with the band’s label Apple Corps.

Each of the four films will tell the perspective of a different member of the Fab Four, but any specific details about what periods in their lives are being explored and how much of The Beatles’ history will be seen on screen remains unclear. And in a daring gambit, all four films will be released the same month in April 2028, though specific release plans — like whether they will be one a week or all at once, and which film audiences should see first — are still murky.

Regardless, The Beatles films are expected to be the definitive biopic on The Beatles, with each member (or their estates) granting full life stories and music rights for a scripted film.

Maureen Cox was an early fan of The Beatles who met Ringo Starr at the Cavern Club in 1962. Their romance blossomed quickly, they married in 1965, and had three children together. Linda Eastman was a celebrated photographer when she met Paul McCartney in 1967. There was an instant attraction and McCartney later said, “The first time I saw her, I just knew.” John Lennon first met the Japanese artist Yoko Ono at a London exhibition of her work. Although Lennon was married at the time, he was immediately intrigued by her, and the two eventually became inseparable creative partners for the rest of his life. Pattie Boyd was a successful model when in 1964 she met George Harrison on the set of the Beatles movie “A Hard Day’s Night.” The two began dating and later married, with Boyd sharing Harrison’s growing interest in Eastern mysticism.

McKenna-Bruce is represented by 42 Management, CAA, and Luber Roklin. Ronan is repped by CAA. Sawai is repped by WME, 42, United Agents, and Chris Abramson. Wood is repped by CAA, Independent, and Sloane, Offer, Weber, Dern.

This nutty dish contains a tasty flavour profile. (Picture credit: Suresh Kumar)

Ingredients:

A. For the cake

  • 1½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup plant milk (almond, soy, or oat)
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ cup neutral oil (such as sunflower or canola)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

B. For the soak (“three milks”)

  • ½ cup vegan condensed milk (coconut-based or oat)
  • ½ cup full-fat coconut milk or coconut cream
  • ½ cup plant milk of choice
  • 1 tsp rose water (optional but recommended)

C. For the topping

  • 1 cup vegan whipped cream
  • 2 Tbsp crushed pistachios
  • 2 Tbsp edible rose petals

Method:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  • Make vegan buttermilk: Combine the plant milk and vinegar; let sit for 5 minutes to curdle slightly.
  • Prepare the batter: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add oil, vanilla, and the buttermilk mixture; stir gently until smooth.
  • Bake: Pour into the prepared pan and bake 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes.
  • Soak: In a separate bowl, whisk together the three milks and rose water. Poke small holes all over the cake with a fork, then slowly pour the milk mixture evenly over the top. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or overnight, to allow the cake to absorb the liquid.
  • Finish and serve: Spread the whipped cream over the chilled cake, then sprinkle with pistachios and rose petals. Serve cold.
  • Chef’s tips: Use food-grade rose petals and pure rose water for the best aroma. A little goes a long way. To intensify the nutty flavour, add 1–2 tablespoons of finely ground pistachios to the batter. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; the texture improves as it rests.

The Cure add huge Cardiff show to 2026 UK and European summer tour

The Cure have just added a huge Cardiff show to their 2026 UK and European summer tour.

The goth rock legends announced their new tour on September 30, where they’re set to kick off on June 26 at Dublin’s Marlay Park.

After travelling to Belsonic in Belfast on June 28, they’ll stop off at Manchester as part of Live From Wythenshawe Park’s summer series on August 21, before heading off to Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Showgrounds on the 23rd. They’ll also play two outdoor shows in Berlin’s Parkbühne Wuhlheide on July 10 and 11.

Now, The Cure have unveiled a huge Cardiff show to take place in the Blackweir Fields on June 24. The Twilight Sad and The Joy Formidable have been hand-picked by Robert Smith to support The Cure on the day.

Pre-sale will commence on October 16, 10am here, with general sale following on October 17, 10am – get your tickets here.

No London dates have been announced so far, but it’s rumoured the band will play a huge show at the Royal Albert Hall.

The Cure’s 2026 UK and Ireland headline shows are:

JUNE
24 – Blackweir Fields, Cardiff

26 – Marlay Park, Dublin
28 – Belsonic, Belfast

JULY
10 – Parkbühne Wuhlheide, Berlin
11 – Parkbühne Wuhlheide, Berlin

AUGUST
21 – Live From Wythenshawe Park, Manchester
23 – Edinburgh Summer Sessions, Royal Highland Showgrounds, Edinburgh

Along with their headline dates, The Cure have been announced for a slate of festivals, including headline slots at Rock En Seine, Primavera Sound, and Isle Of Wight Festival.

They’ve also been announced to play Øya, Nova Rock, Rock Werchter, and Open’er festivals.

It will be their first dates together since their show at London’s Troxy last November, an intimate gig with just 3,000 fans in attendance – including Green Day‘s Billie Joe Armstrong, Radiohead‘s Ed O’Brien, Boy George, Mogwai‘s Stuart Braithwaite, and Pedro Pascal.

Smith previously revealed there was another new album that’s “virtually finished” – with a third new record also on the way.

Excitingly, Smith also shared he wanted to finish one of those albums before they start touring, suggesting that it may be released before they officially hit the road in August.

So far, their most recent record is ‘Songs Of A Lost World‘, which we gave a whopping five stars: “The 10-minute opus of ‘Endsong’ – always intended as the album closer – circles back to that full stop from the start: how we’re all ultimately dust and “left alone with nothing at the end of every song”. Merciless? Yes, but there’s always enough heart in the darkness and opulence in the sound to hold you and place these songs alongside The Cure’s finest.

“The frontman suggested that another two records may be arriving at some point, but ‘Songs Of A Lost World’ feels sufficient enough for the wait we’ve endured, just for being arguably the most personal album of Smith’s career. Mortality may loom, but there’s colour in the black and flowers on the grave.”

Max Hospital cardiology director shares what perfect Indian plate really looks like: ‘Add 1 or 2 rotis and…’

Indian meals are known for their variety, colours, and flavours, often served as a thali with multiple dishes on one plate. But not every thali is equally healthy, and balancing taste with nutrition can be tricky.

Dr Bhamri emphasises a balanced plate with 50% vegetables, 25% complex carbs, and 25% protein.(Freepik)

Dr Naveen Bhamri, Director & HOD (Interventional Cardiology), Max Super Speciality Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi, with 26 years of experience, told The Lallantop what a truly “perfect Indian thali” looks like, showing how to enjoy traditional flavours while keeping your heart and overall health in check. (Also read: Cardiologist shares how he overcame years of knee pain with yoga, says he ‘can’t even remember which knee used to hurt’ )

What does a heart-healthy Indian thali really look like

According to Dr Bhamri, a healthy thali should be like an orchestra: every component plays its part, but in perfect balance. He explains, “Our plate should be like an orchestra, where all the instruments are playing but in perfect balance. In our thali, we have roti, rice, potatoes playing like drums, and the protein content is only like the flute playing softly on the side.”

He scientifically breaks down the ideal thali, “Fifty percent of our plate should always be vegetables and salads, green-colored or multi-colored. Colourful vegetables provide us with essential minerals, vitamins, and fibre.”

One-fourth of the plate should consist of complex carbohydrates. Dr Bhamri elaborates, “By complex carbohydrates, I mean roti, one or two rotis. These rotis should preferably be made from seasonal grains like jowar, bajra, or other millets. You can also include a small portion of rice, preferably brown rice. We tend to eat a lot of wheat flour rotis, which isn’t ideal for health, so try to mix it up, sometimes wheat, sometimes jowar, sometimes bajra, depending on the season and what suits your body.”

How much protein should your plate really have

Protein should make up another quarter of the plate. “Protein can come from dals, rajma, chana, paneer, or if you are non-vegetarian, from fish or chicken,” Dr Bhamri says. “So your plate should be divided roughly as 50% vegetables, 25% complex carbs, and 25% protein.”

He adds a word of caution about extras, “Things like pickles, papad, or chutney should only be like a guest appearance, they are not the hero of the meal.”
