Hyve strengthens year-round engagement model through acquisition of HGAN

Hyve, the global leader behind the world’s fastest growing and most forward-thinking B2B events, today announces an agreement to acquire HGAN (Health Grown Advisory Network), a leading platform accelerating the growth of innovative healthcare companies through curated connections and tailored commercial support.

At its core, HGAN is a business of connections.

A trusted partner that goes beyond introductions to guide and support partnerships between health innovators and organisations evaluating new healthcare solutions from first meetings to successful outcomes. The team facilitates curated engagements between innovative healthcare companies and verified partners, such as employers seeking to improve benefit plans or health plans focused on population health.

HGAN has rapidly become the choice commercial accelerator for digital health solutions. Its two-sided marketplace meets the needs of both buyers and sellers in the healthcare ecosystem, while its extensive advisory network provides expert counsel on critical growth factors including positioning, marketing, health plan navigation, and product–market fit. Its customers include healthcare leaders such as Spring Health, Virta, Rightway and Maven, with many of its partners already attending Hyve’s healthcare events: HLTH, ViVE and Behavioral Health Tech.

Strengthening Hyve’s year-round engagement model.

Hyve has been steadily expanding its year-round engagement capabilities across its global portfolio, creating products and services that deliver value to customers beyond the event cycle. In healthcare specifically, this includes HLTH Community, a subscription platform offering white papers, resources and online events, and Entrée, a curated dinner series bringing leaders together in bespoke networking settings.

Deepening Hyve’s connection ecosystem, with a scalable model for other sectors.

The acquisition of HGAN adds depth to Hyve’s connection model, introducing a new advisory-led matchmaking service, and is a natural extension of Hyve’s existing meetings product which saw 75,000 one-on-one, double-opt-in meetings take place at the latest Shoptalk Spring.

There is clear potential to replicate this model across the other sectors where Hyve organises events in order to deliver value and results for more customers beyond the show floor.

New umbrella group unites emc3, BEG, and From Now, marking the beginning of a values-driven, global growth platform for experience-led agencies.

Global event agency emc3 has announced the formation of the emc3 Collective, a newly established umbrella group that brings together specialist agencies united by shared values, creative excellence, and commercial ambition. The launch of the Collective coincides with the strategic acquisition of BEG (Boston Experiential Group), a full-service B2C experiential agency based in the United States.

The emc3 Collective now includes:

  • emc3 – a global B2B events agency known for strategic, high-impact experiences
  • BEG – B2C experiential and activation specialists driven by innovation and storytelling
  • From Now – a sustainability consultancy delivering purpose-led strategy and ESG integration across events and brand experiences

“The emc3 Collective represents the next chapter of our journey, bringing together bold, creative, and values-led agencies that can scale with intention,” said Alistair Graham, CEO of the emc3 Collective. “With BEG coming on board, we’re expanding our reach, diversifying our offering, and laying the foundations for future growth.”

A strategic partnership rooted in shared values

Founded by Sophia D’Angelo, BEG delivers standout consumer campaigns for leading global brands including P&G, Meta, Fever-Tree, Samuel Adams, and Welch’s. The agency will continue to operate independently under its existing brand and leadership. Sophia remains the Managing Director of BEG, joining the emc3 Collective’s senior leadership team and reporting to Lee-Anne Caldwell, Global Managing Director of the Collective.

Weeztix strengthens European leadership in cashless solutions with SJEF acquisition

Weeztix is proud to announce the acquisition of the cashless activities of SJEF B.V., the market leader in the Netherlands for cashless solutions in the event industry. As part of the deal, SJEF’s experienced team, hardware and client portfolio will become part of Weeztix, further strengthening their position as the leading provider of open-loop cashless solutions.

Earlier this year, Weeztix joined forces with Weezevent, forming the largest independent event solutions provider in Europe. This acquisition builds on the group’s growth journey and complements its combined expertise in innovative ticketing, cashless, and accreditation services.

Across Europe, Weezevent and Weeztix already deliver over 850 cashless events every year. Now, with the addition of SJEF’s portfolio, the Group supports an even broader range of the combined Group supports an even broader range of leading events, including Tomorrowland, Rock Werchter, Graspop, Hellfest, Lollapalooza, Best Kept Secret, Paaspop, Liquicity, Het Amsterdamse Winterparadijs, Paris Saint-Germain, Royal Antwerp FC, and Club Brugge, further strengthening its position in both the Dutch market and across Europe.
