“The closest fans can get without being arrested.” Get ready for another spectacular concert experience! IMAX is re-releasing one of their original IMAX concert docs again on the big screen in theaters December. First released in 1991, Rolling Stones – At the Max is the first and only concert feature shot with IMAX cameras. “At the Max was always about bringing fans as close as possible to the energy of our live shows. With IMAX, that experience is bigger, louder, and more immersive than ever—we can’t wait for audiences to feel it all over again.” –The Rolling Stones. The film, which has not been in theaters since 2007, has already made $17 million worldwide before. Packed with career-defining performances of iconic hits including “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction,” “Brown Sugar,” “Start Me Up,” and more, the film puts audiences at the heart of the crowd, where every moment is enhanced by IMAX’s unmatched scale and sound. Starring Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Ronnie Wood, and Bill Wyman. While it’s a common occurrence nowadays, it’s actually pretty cool to think about this being the very first concert doc they shot with actual IMAX film cameras and IMAX film stock (it was a big thing in the 90s – often screening at science museums). And now it’ll be even bigger & louder than ever! Go rock out with the Rolling Stones again in theaters this December.

Filmed during the band’s 1990 Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle Tour, Rolling Stones – At the Max was shot across five concerts in three European cities using eight IMAX film cameras. The result was the first-ever feature-length IMAX concert film, showcasing the incomparable talents of the Rolling Stones and their stadium-filling power. First released in 1991, the critically acclaimed film is the first and only concert feature shot with IMAX film cameras. Starring Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Ronnie Wood, and Bill Wyman, the film has been newly remastered with IMAX’s proprietary Digital Media Remastering (DMR) technology and features a brand-new sound mix—delivering the most immersive and electrifying presentation of this legendary performance to date. Rolling Stones – At the Max is a live concert doc co-directed by the filmmakers Noel Archambault, David Douglas, Roman Kroitor, and Julien Temple. Executive produced by André Picard and Michael Cohl. The IMAX movie was originally released in theaters in June 1992, and was also re-released again in 2007. IMAX will re-release Rolling Stones – At the Max remastered in IMAX theaters worldwide starting on December 10th, 2025 later this year. Want to watch?

What do we have here? Invada Films has debuted an official UK trailer for a survival thriller indie film titled Game, made by filmmaker John Minton as his feature directorial debut. Not to be confused with the Gerard Butler video game action movie Gamer from 2009. Game is a thriller set during the ’90s British rave scene, where two men, one a thief and one a poacher, must use their wits to survive after a car crash in the woods. It’s produced by Geoff Barrow of the band Portishead, trying out something new. Starring Marc Bessant & Jason Williamson. The official UK premiere will be on October 16th at the opening night of Mayhem Film Festival in Nottingham, before the film hits UK theaters in November. Though still no US release set yet for this one. The film looks like some funky experimental indie horror creation, mixing nature and raves and psychological mania and more. What’s going on with these blokes in the forest? Keep an eye out for it…

Here’s the official UK trailer (+ poster) for John Minton’s film Game, from YouTube (via Live for Films):

Late summer 1993. After stealing a stash of money and drugs, aging raver David (Marc Bessant) crashes his car deep in the woods – trapped in the wreckage, injured and helpless, he hangs suspended between life & death. When a mysterious poacher (Jason Williamson) discovers him, no rescue comes, only a watchful, unsettling presence that seems intent on letting nature finish the job. As the hours stretch and the elements close in, a tense and claustrophobic battle of wills, and wits, unfolds – where survival hinges on outlasting both the wilderness and the predator at its edge. Game is directed by British filmmaker John Minton, making his feature directorial debut with this new project. The screenplay is co-written by Geoff Barrow, Marc Bessant, John Minton, and Rob Williams. It’s produced by Geoff Barrow & Deborah Rawlings. This is premiering at a few small festivals before it hits theaters. Invada Films will debut Minton’s Game film in UK cinemas starting November 21st, 2025 this fall. No US release date is set yet – stay tuned. Who’s curious?

Katherine LaNasa and Grant Show may be one of the hottest couples on the Emmys 2025 red carpet—and we now must know everything about their longtime romance.

LaNasa, a well-established character actor with a seriously impressive IMDB history, finally got her due at Sunday night’s ceremony with her win for best supporting actress for her role as Dana Evans in The Pitt. Considering she’s been working in Hollywood since the early 1990s and this is her first Emmy nomination and win, she has a lot to celebrate.

But in addition to saying to yourself, “Wait, I loved her in XYZ,” you may have noticed the guy on her arm and done a double take. Yes, if you didn’t know LaNasa is married to Show, who is probably best known as ’90s certified hottie Jake Hanson from Melrose Place.

If you’re unfamiliar with Show’s character, his Wikipedia page describes Jake as being “known for being a womanizer as he hooked up with nearly every female occupant of Melrose.” Okay, noted!

Here’s some background on Katherine LaNasa and Grant Show that you are probably curious about. The pair got engaged in 2012, with People reporting that LaNasa “is very excited,” and they married just a few weeks later.

They had a daughter, Eloise, in 2014, who joined LaNasa’s older son, Henry Hopper, whom she had with her first husband, actor Dennis Hopper. LaNasa posts some pretty adorable photos of her family on her Instagram on the reg, and it all looks pretty idyllic.

If You Wear Converse Sneakers This Fall, Pair Them With Cigarette Jeans Like ’90s Icons

Converse sneakers were a sensation during the ‘90s. Leaving the sports world behind, they began to become the era’s most coveted footwear and became a fixture of the grunge aesthetic that emerged during the decade.

Their casualness and comfort were the characteristics that earned them a top spot in the fashion of the moment. Marc Jacobs was one of the designers who embraced them, presenting them in his Spring-Summer 1993 runway show for Perry Ellis. For the first time, streetwear had a grand stage to shine, showcasing Converse sneakers as the best way to complete a look without trying too hard.

Celebrities in the ‘90s were quick to adopt these sneakers as part of their casual, somewhat rebellious style, which denoted a significant cultural shift. Thus, the era’s trendy cigarette jeans became the inseparable partner of Converse sneakers. The pairing was seen on Drew Barrymore, who decided to add a touch of color with a red polka-dot blouse which looked effortlessly glamorous when combined with red lipstick and beachy blonde waves.

And speaking of effortless ’90s outfits, we can’t leave out Gwyneth Paltrow. At the time, the actor’s style was defined by minimalist and distinguished pieces, whether she was on the red carpet or out with her then-boyfriend, Brad Pitt. On one of their dates, she wore a white shirt , black vest , leather jacket , and cigarette jeans—a look that is undoubtedly foundational for Hailey Bieber and Kendall Jenner, two lovers of timeless and versatile garments.

On the contrary, they’re one of those always-on-trend pieces that have earned the title of “cult sneaker.” Whether you prefer the high-tops, low-tops, or new platform versions, the truth is they remain the best companions to cigarette jeans.
