IShowSpeed Launches 'Speed Goes Pro!' Series At Sports-Themed Premiere

IShowSpeed launched his latest endeavor with grand style on Tuesday night (Sept. 30) at the Los Angeles Coliseum. The streamer premiered his new series, Speed Goes Pro!, to an intimate audience at the event as he was cheered on by his own personal squad. With family and friends also in the building, IShowSpeed expressed overwhelming gratitude for both the audience and the digital show.

After the first two episodes were screened, attendees were directed to an afterparty, celebrating the Ohio native’s on-screen accomplishments. Guests included Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Jeremiah Brown, and DDG, as well as series stars Suni Lee, Randy Orton, Fred Richard, Nastia Liukin, and Ian Gunther, among others. Guests were also welcomed to participate in athletic activities such as a fun, arcade-style basketball shootout or the NFL combine-designed vertical jump.

Speed Goes Pro! follows the 20-year-old as he attempts to reach the skill level of professional athletes in various arenas. As described in a press statement, each episode features a different sport where Speed is put through a crash course by world-class trainers as well as current and former professional athletes to prepare him for an ultimate showdown with a legend in each sport. Tom Brady is featured in the first episode, and although he was unable to attend the event, he shared a special message for the streamer, which aired ahead of the screening.

With five episodes in its first season, Speed Goes Pro! is produced by OBB Pictures in partnership with DICK’S. In fact, the entire project evolved from a commercial Speed filmed with the retail company. New episodes of Speed Goes Pro! are set to drop every other Wednesday starting on Oct. 15, with the first episode out now. The series is executive produced by Michael D. Ratner, Scott Ratner, Kfir Goldberg, and Camille Maratchi for OBB Pictures, alongside Darren Watkins Jr., Mason Klein, and showrunner Eric Pankowski.
