“A lot of Predators in this jungle…” 20th Century Studios & Garage Beer have unveiled a trailer for a new sci-fi short film called Thermal Buzz, a marketing riff on the original Predator movie. Even though this is essentially just a big promo for the Garage Beer brand (is the beer any good??), in partnership with former football player / current podcaster Jason Kelce, it’s actually produced & created in collaboration with 20th Century Studios to help also promote the release of Predator: Badlands. Thermal Buzz is an homage to the original 1987 Predator movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger & Carl Weathers. It drops online via the Garage Beer channels this weekend – one week before the full release of Dan Trachtneberg’s Predator: Badlands. Thermal Buzz stars Jason Kelce, pro-wrestler Matt Cardona, & former Philly Eagles player Beau Allen. This looks amusing enough, but I’d rather see other filmmakers making actual short film spin-offs instead.

The film follows two men who face off against Predators in the jungle while enjoying some refreshing beer. In collaboration with 20th Century Studios and the release of Predator: Badlands, Garage Beer and Jason Kelce are back on the screen with Thermal Buzz, a homage to the original 1987 Predator starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Thermal Buzz is directed by filmmaker Jordan Phoenix, of the other Brewmite short films previously. Created and produced by Garage Beer as a promotional stunt – in collaboration with the release of Predator: Badlands. The Thermal Buzz short debuts on Garage Beer’s social channels starting on October 31st, 2025. 20th Century will also release Dan Trachtenberg’s Predator: Badlands movie in theaters (huzzah!!) nationwide starting on November 7th, 2025 coming up soon. Who’s ready to watch?

The Bachelorette finally named its leading lady for season 22: Taylor Frankie Paul from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Hulu has already announced that season 3 of Mormon Wives will premiere on November 13, 2025, but Disney pushed the new season of The Bachelorette to a future air date. So, when will it come out?

Taylor, 31, spoke with Us Weekly about her new reality TV gig, admitting that she’s stepping out of her “comfort zone” by joining Bachelor Nation.

“What I’m most looking forward to is meeting a handful of people that are outside my bubble — and even if there’s a couple in there, that’s OK — but I’m just excited to get to know different perspectives and new parts about myself too,” the Hulu star explained, adding, “[But] it’s out of my comfort zone, so, obviously, it’s scary.”

Briefly touching on her past controversies — from her and ex-husband Tate Paul‘s “soft swinging” scandal to her arrest in 2023 — Taylor explained that she’s had “a lot of learning lessons, for better or worse.”

In 2023, Taylor was arrested and booked for aggravated assault, two counts of domestic violence in the presence of a child, child abuse with injury and criminal mischief following an altercation with ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen. That August, she pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, and the other charges were dismissed with prejudice. She then reached a plea deal.

“And I think [that makes you] more wise and aware — or at least self-aware,” the new Bachelorette explained to the outlet. “I can’t say that I’ll never make mistakes again. We’re human. We always will. But it’s learning, growing and then having the tools to navigate the next one.”

Why Isn’t The Bachelorette Airing in 2025?

Disney never provided a reason why it pushed the next season of The Bachelorette, but season 21 star Jenn Tran shared her theory about the delay with People.

“The Bachelorette does usually air in the summer when people are traveling — I heard that it doesn’t do as well as The Bachelor,” she said in February 2025. “So, maybe it’ll give a chance for the next Bachelorette to air at a time where there’s more visibility. That would be nice.”

“These people lure in common folk, give ’em a taste of the American Dream, and then spit ’em right out!” Row K Entertainment has revealed a teaser trailer for the hit film Dead Man’s Wire, which received huge applause and tons of great reviews playing across many film festivals this fall. Dead Man’s Wire is the latest film directed by American filmmaker maestro Gus Van Sant, an entirely true story from the 1970s about a hostage situation. “His revolution was televised.” Based on a true story, the 1977 kidnapping of a prominent banker grips the nation and turns the everyman abductor (starring Bill Skarsgård) into an outlaw folk hero. As the media frenzy peaks, the standoff becomes a spectacle of desperation, defiance and blurred justice, which resonates even today. Starring Bill Skarsgård as Tony Kiritsis, Dacre Montgomery as Dick Hall, Cary Elwes, Myha’la, Colman Domingo, and Al Pacino. I saw this at the Venice Film Festival (read my review) and the audience went nuts – they were full-on cheering & applauding throughout the entire credits. Opening in theaters in January in just a few months from now – this film deserves to end up a big smash hit.

Game 3 of the 2025 World Series was a showdown at Dodger Stadium last night on Monday, October 27. The Toronto Blue Jays and the Los Angeles Dodgers fought until the end, with L.A. winning 6-5. L.A. and Toronto played for 18 innings until the Dodgers finally took home the victory by a slight margin of 6-5.

The game dragged on through all those innings of tense stalemate and powerful endurance by all the players. Teams on both sides left runner after runner stranded. With the game tied 5-5 at the bottom of the 18th inning, Freddie Freeman got a walk-off home run to seal the 6-5 victory for L.A., giving them a 2-1 World Series lead.

The Dodgers-Blue Jays game ended at about 2:50 a.m. ET / 11:50 p.m. PT. The Dodgers are now part of baseball history since the team matched its record of 18 innings against the Boston Red Sox at the 2018 World Series.

“Savor every minute of this journey.” Tribeca Films has just debuted a new documentary film titled 26.2, made by filmmaker Nicolas Heller – best known as the runner “New York Nico” on social media. The full title for it is Journey to the Finish Line of the NYC Marathon and the 34-minute short doc is out now to watch (view below). 26.2 follows four tenacious New Yorkers in the lead-up to the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon. A long time superfan of the race, Nicolas was inspired by individual stories & motivations of each runner (and walker) who chooses to participate in one of the world’s largest annual marathons. This is their honest story. “Between them, they’ve survived a stroke, cancer, a life-changing house fire, & finishing dead last in the 2023 race. They’re not professional runners. They’re people who’ve been knocked down and decided to keep moving. This isn’t a story about running fast. It’s a story about getting there at all.” This reminds me of another doc called 26.2 to Life, about a marathon inside of a prison. And this year’s other doc on running called Learning to Fly. 26.2 is another engaging & wholesome film that should inspire everyone.

The documentary 26.2 follows four New Yorkers training for the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon: a retired math teacher, an NYPD administrative aide, a public defender, and an elevator mechanic. Between them, they’ve survived a stroke, cancer, a life-changing house fire, and finishing dead last in 2023. This isn’t a story about running fast… It’s a story about getting there at all. Directed by Nicolas Heller, also known as @newyorknico, the film was inspired by his coverage of the NYC Marathon finish line. Since season 5 of Only Murders in the Building ended with yet another shocking cliffhanger, it’s safe to assume that our favorite trio, Selena Gomez, Martin Short and Steven Martin, will return. So, is there actually going to be another season of OMITB?

Right after the season 5 finale was released, Hulu confirmed that OMITB was renewed for a sixth season — and it will take place in London!

“Do we deliver or do we deliver?” the show’s official Instagram account posted alongside the official poster announcement. “Season 6 is coming soon to @hulu and with #HuluOnDisneyPlus, and we’re headed across the pond!”

Is There Going to Be Another Season of Only Murders in the Building?

Yes! In October 2025, Hulu officially renewed the hit comedy series for a 6th season — and it will take place in London instead of New York this time. With the exception of a trip to California during season 4, OMITB has largely taken place in New York City.

Selena confirmed the news in an Instagram Stories post, which read, “Well, looks like our fam is going to London, y’all.” In a separate Story, the actress thanked the fan base for supporting the show.

“I want to thank our community and fans of [OMITB] for allowing us to even have a season 6!” Selena wrote across a photo seemingly taken from the set of Martin and Steve. “We are eternally grateful we can bring any of you any sort of joy. My deepest gratitude from Steve, Marty and myself.”

Where Is Only Murders in the Building Season 6 Being Filmed?

Since season 6 is set in London, the series will be filmed in the city. There has been no word on when production officially starts. After all, season 5 came to an end on October 28, 2025, the day that season 6 was confirmed. So, it’s still too early to determine a start date for filming.

“Join the Whobilation, again!” Universal Pictures has unveiled a new trailer for the 25th Anniversary re-release of the beloved Christmas classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas – the live-action version with Jim Carrey from the year 2000. Many kids grew up watching and loving this one. Older generations grew up with the animated classic 1966 version from Chuck Jones. Both based on the beloved book created by Dr. Seuss – How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The movie, directed by Ron Howard, is a live-action version of the story about a grumpy green creature known as “The Grinch”, who lives above a town called Whoville – played under perfectly wicked make-up by the one-and-only Jim Carrey. (Rick Baker & Gail Rowell-Ryan won the Best Make-Up Oscar for this.) He plans to ruin Christmas for all of the citizens of the town, because he hates Christmas. His plan is foiled when he meets the young Cindy Lou Who (played by actress Taylor Momsen in her first film role) who teaches him the true meaning of Christmas. The cast includes Jeffrey Tambor, Christine Baranski, Bill Irwin, and Molly Shannon. So many movies have been re-released this year and they’re continuing the trend by bringing this out again in theaters in December. Who’s going?

The screenplay is written by Jeffrey Price & Peter S. Seaman. Based on the Dr. Seuss book of the same name first published in 1957. The movie was originally released in theaters in November 2000. Universal will re-release Ron Howard’s Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas film in theaters again starting December 12th, 2025 this winter. Who’s already a fan of this holiday classic?

Alba Baptista stole Chris Evans’ heart. The Portuguese actress and the Knives Out star reportedly got married during the second weekend of September 2023, having had a secret wedding at a private Cape Cod estate. Two years later, the couple quietly welcomed their first child together in October 2025. Since they have yet to break their silence on the private matter, details of Chris and Alba’s newborn baby are still unclear.

Alba Is a Netflix Star

Alba got her start in acting at age 16 in Simão Cayatte‘s short film Miami. The role earned her the Best Actress Award at the Festival Ibérico de Ciné. Alba starred in more Portuguese films like Caminhos Magnétykos, Equinócio, and Patrick, as well as the TV shows Jardins Proibidos, A Impostora, A Criação, and Jogo Duplo. Her big break came in Netflix’s hit series Warrior Nun, based on the comic book character Warrior Nun Areala.

Alba plays Ava Silva, a quadriplegic orphan who discovers she now has supernatural powers that force her to join an ancient order of warrior nuns. Warrior Nun served as her first English-language debut. Warrior Nun premiered its first season in July 2020, and season 2 was filmed during the summer and fall of 2021 in Spain, which is where Alba may have met Chris.

Alba Started Dating Chris in 2022

While the dating rumors started in early 2022, Chris and Alba didn’t confirm their romance until Jan. 2023. He posted an adorable video compilation on his Instagram Story of the couple trying to jump-scare each other. “A look back at 2022,” Chris wrote at the top of the video alongside three red heart emojis. While this was Chris’ first-ever confirmation of the relationship, it was reported less than two months earlier that they had been seeing each other for more than a year.

Days after Chris was named People’s 2022 “Sexiest Man Alive,” a source for the outlet claimed their relationship was “serious.” The source added, “They are in love and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore her.”

Eagle-eyed fans had previously speculated they might be an item in Jan. 2022, as both their social media posts around the time appeared to be in Alba’s native Lisbon. Plus, Chris and Alba’s social media activity made it appear that they were at least talking during the summer of 2021, as that is when Alba followed Chris back on Instagram.

Chris is not the first actor that Alba has been romantically linked to. She was previously rumored to be dating Emily in Paris star Lucas Bravo. Apparently, the pair were spotted on vacation together in May 2021, which sparked dating rumors. However, fans pointed out that they very well may just be friends, especially since they were co-stars in the 2022 comedy/drama Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris.

Alba Is From Portugal

Alba was born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1997. Her mother is Portuguese, while her father is Brazilian and from Rio de Janeiro. The couple reportedly met while Alba’s mother was working as a translator in Brazil.

Alba is from Portugal, so she can obviously speak Portuguese, but that’s not all. The talented star also speaks Spanish, French, English, and German, according to a July 2020 interview with Universo Online. That means Alba can speak 5 (!) different languages. That’s certainly helpful as she travels around the world for her acting career.

Alba Has Dabbled in Modeling

Alba has modeled for one of the biggest names in fashion: Vogue. She made her Vogue Portugal debut in 2019 via a video meant to look like it was shot on film. She has also appeared on the cover of GQ and ACTIVA.

Alba & Chris Have a 16-Year Age Gap

Alba and Chris have an age gap of about 16 years. She was born on July 10, 1997, and he was born on June 13, 1981.

“There’s a lot going on in London tonight.” Aura Entertainment has unveiled the official trailer for a movie called Wildcat, a high-stakes heist thriller from filmmaker James Nunn (of Shark Bait, One Shot & One More Shot). Not to be confused with Ethan Hawke’s film Wildcat from a few years ago, this also goes under the title Lioness (which they probably changed due to the Lioness series). A former special ops squad comes together for one last mission – a high-stakes robbery to rescue their commander’s young daughter. One big epic heist with London’s gangsters! Wildcat stars Kate Beckinsale, Lewis Tan, Charles Dance, Tom Bennett, Alice Krige, Edmund Kingsley, and Matt Willis. This is being released on VOD right away in a few weeks if anyone wants to find out if they pull it off! Though I can’t say this trailer impressed me much.

Southern rapper Young Bleed was hospitalized in an intensive care unit (ICU) in October 2025 just days after performing at Las Vegas’ ComplexCon. After initial false reports claimed he was dead, new information has surfaced regarding the 47-year-old rapper. His sister also debunked the rumors by sharing an update via Facebook on October 28, 2025.

Below are updates on Young Bleed’s condition and what we know so far about his hospitalization.

Who Is Young Bleed?

Young Bleed, whose real name is Glenn Clifton Jr., is a rapper from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, known for songs such as “How Ya Do That.” He began his music career at age 9, when he started rhyming, inspired by his mother, who read poetry to him throughout his childhood. As a teenager, Young Bleed began selling his own hip-hop music independently to friends in his neighborhood before eventually signing with a local record label.

In 1995, Young Bleed helped form the rap group known as Concentration Camp. In the years that followed, he released several studio albums as a solo artist.

Is Young Bleed Dead?

No, despite false reports claiming he had died, Young Bleed is not dead. He is currently in the ICU. Tedra Johnson-Spears, Bleed’s sister, took to Facebook to clear up the rumors and asked fans to respect their family’s privacy.

“This will be my first and last post,” Johnson-Spears began in her post. “We are receiving a tremendous amount of calls about my big brother Glenn, Tank, Young Bleed. If you have not called his mother personally, please do not post about him. Our family asks that you respect our privacy and hold all calls and texts at this time. He is still currently in ICU, and his mother asked if you all would respect her wishes and not make any RIP posts.”

How Is Young Bleed Doing in the ICU? His Health

Rapper and record producer Master P confirmed that Young Bleed is in the ICU and is fighting for his life.

“@snoopdogg and I was just talking about how we have to love eachother while we here!” Master P captioned an Instagram post on October 28, 2025. “We just turned up with our brother @therealyoungbleed @verzuztv. Thanks for all y’all prayers and we need more prayers for him and his family as he fights in ICU #GodGotUs #NoLimitSoldier.”

Master P added, “Tell your people you love them every time they walk out the door,” at the end of his caption. 

What Happened to Young Bleed? Why He Was Hospitalized

Young Bleed suffered from a “major medical emergency” days after performing at ComplexCon in Las Vegas, according to TMZ.  The outlet did not specify what the health crisis was.
