bitchy | Prince William & Kate attended the requiem mass for the Duchess of Kent

by jummy84 September 17, 2025
written by jummy84

The Duchess of Kent’s funeral is happening today. First, the Requiem Mass at Westminster Cathedral, then a private funeral in Windsor. King Charles was one of the first to arrive at the mass today, and his wife pulled out at the last minute because of illness. The Prince and Princess of Wales are in attendance at the mass – they confirmed their attendance earlier today, about an hour before Camilla pulled out. Kate wore the same pearl-and-diamond choker which she wore to QEII’s funeral. It’s her funeral bling, I guess, or they just give her that necklace for funerals, since Camilla controls the Royal Collection jewels now. I also think Kate is wearing the same black coatdress she wore to Prince Philip’s funeral?

I’m also including some photos of the other requiem mass attendees, including: Frederick Windsor and his wife Sophie Winkleman; the Earl of Snowden; and interestingly enough, Penelope Knatchbull, Countess Mountbatten of Burma. I wonder why Penny is there? Was she particularly close to the Kents?

Ky Frost Speaks After Being Named Suspect In T-Hood Shooting

by jummy84 September 17, 2025
written by jummy84

It’s been a month since the Gwinnett County police named Ky Frost the primary suspect in the death of T-Hood. When he died, the rapper–real name Tevin Hood–was dating Ky’s half-sister on his dad’s side, Kelsie Frost. While there’s been a lag on information related to the case, it appears Ky is not behind bars for the fatal shooting.

RELATED: Georgia Police Reportedly Name Kirk & Rasheeda’s Son Ky Frost As Shooter In Death Of Siste’s Boyfriend, T-Hood (UPDATE)

Ky Frost Poses In The Mirror As Fans Await Case Updates

Rasheeda and Kirk Frost’s son broke his silence for the first time since reports of the shooting broke in mid-August. Sharing a mirror selfie on Instagram, he wrote about experiencing a difficult time while holding a joint of some kind between his lips. Ky also added the song ‘Back Rubbed’ by Rio Da Yung Og to the post.

“I been thru so much sh*t I needa back rub,” he wrote on the photo.

While his comment isn’t exactly related to the case, it’s the first words he’s said since becoming a suspect. His parents have also been quiet on his case. When the Atlanta-Journal Constitution reached out to Kirk last month, he reportedly cited other reports labeling the shooting self-defense and sent article and video links to back it up.

What To Know About T-Hood’s Shooting

As previously reported, Ky Frost was considered the sole suspect in T-Hood’s death, and police were investigating whether it was an act of self-defense. He had not been charged in the incident, and it appears that’s still the case.

In August, a spokesperson for the Gwinnett County police said that Ky had encountered a domestic dispute on August 8 inside a home between Tevin and a woman who had suffered physical injuries. Despite reportedly removing himself, Frost allegedly later shot T-Hood and remained on the scene to speak with officers. 911 received the call about the shooting at about 7 p.m. Officials transported Tevin to the hospital, but he ultimately passed away.

Ky’s Sister Previously Denied Causing T-Hood’s Death

Unlike her brother, Kelsie Frost spoke out within days of the shooting.  At the time, folks online had been speculating that she might’ve been involved with the shooting. For clarity, the police report on T-Hood’s death reportedly does not list her as the “female” in the alleged domestic dispute. In a social media post, Kelsie said she wasn’t allowed time to grieve or say my respects because of “sick” narratives. She also mentioned wanting to be cautious of saying too much amid his loved ones’ grief.

“I love my man with my ENTIRE HEART! Sending me threats, I am grieving too! I am hurting too! I didn’t harm anyone or ask anyone to harm him!!! I didn’t call for anyone to come help me, I didn’t ask for this, I would NEVER! My baby was still HEALING from being shot 3x!!! We handled our business in private. I am livid also. I didn’t call my family for help!!!”

She added that she didn’t call anyone but T-Hood’s mother, not her family or brother. “I don’t care who’s involved, I DON’T CONDONE THIS,” Kelsie added.

Do Celebrities Really Die in 3s? All About the Viral Death Theory – Hollywood Life

by jummy84 September 17, 2025

2025 has been heartbreaking now that multiple celebrities have died. From actors to musicians, fans were shocked to learn that several notable deaths happened just hours or days apart from each other, ultimately recirculating the viral “celebrities die in 3s” conspiracy theory. The viral belief alleges that once a celebrity dies, two more will follow suit. So, is there any truth to it?

Hollywood Life is breaking down the conspiracy theory below.

How Did the ‘Celebrities Die in 3s’ Theory Start?

It’s widely believed that the “celebrities die in 3s” theory began decades ago in 1959 on “The Day the Music Died” when rock ‘n’ roll musicians Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper were killed in a plane crash. Don McLean coined the term for the tragic day in his famous single “American Pie.” Lyrics that point to the fatal crash include, “But February made me shiver / With every paper I’d deliver / Bad news on the doorstep / I couldn’t take one more step / I can’t remember if I cried / When I read about his widowed bride / But something touched me deep inside / The day the music died.”

The “widowed bride” lyric referred to Buddy’s wife, María Elena Holly, who had just married the musician six months prior. She found out about her husband’s death from a TV report and subsequently suffered from a miscarriage.

Pilot Roger Peterson lost control of the small Beechcraft Bonanza plane shortly after taking off at night on February 3, 1959, in the middle of the winter. All four people onboard died after the aircraft crashed near Clear Lake, Iowa.

Do Celebrities Really Die in 3s?

Sometimes, it certainly looks like groups of celebrities die around the same time. The news of a fan-favorite icon’s death occasionally breaks right on the heels of another’s — and when that happens, it’s both heartbreaking and eerie.

Though it’s only a conspiracy theory, the public is convinced that there’s some truth to it.

Quite a few celebrity deaths have happened just hours, days or weeks apart from one another. In 2018, Anthony Bourdain, Kate Spade and Jackson Odell passed away that June.

How Many Celebrities Have Died in 2025?

The month of July 2025 began with the tragic news of Julian McMahon‘s death, followed by Michael Madsen, Connie Francis, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Ozzy Osbourne, Hulk Hogan and Chuck Mangione. Osbourne, Hogan and Mangione died within the same week in July 2025, with musicians Osbourne and Mangione dying the same day.

Other notable figures who passed away in July 2025 were Boston sports legend Lyndon “LB” Byers, poet and activist Andrea Gibson, Annabelle paranormal investigator Dan Rivera and musical satirist Tom Lehrer.

That September, Robert Redford died at the age of 89.

Kristin Davis was shocked by And Just Like That… ending

Kristin Davis was surprised by And Just Like That… coming to an end.

Kristin Davis was shocked by the decision to end And Just Like That…

The 60-year-old actress reprised her role as Charlotte York in the Sex and the City sequel series and was shocked when it was brought to an end after three seasons last month as she “assumed” it was going to carry on.

In a preview of her appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show on Wednesday (17.09.25), Kristin said: “Our commitment that we had made was a three-year commitment to each other, so we knew that part.

“But I just assumed that we were gonna keep going. That’s how I am, you know what I mean?”

The HBO Max series had got a mixed response from viewers after first airing in 2021 but Kristin was “profoundly sad” after showrunner Michael Patrick King revealed in August that the programme would be ending.

The star – who had played the role of Charlotte since Sex and the City first aired in 1998 – wrote on Instagram: “I am profoundly sad. I love our whole beautiful cast and crew. 400 artisans working hard on our show with deep love. And to our loyal fans, we love you forever and ever.”

And Just Like That… ended after a two-part finale to the third season and King felt it was the right time to bring the show to a conclusion.

He said in a message posted on HBO Max’s social media pages: “And just like that… the ongoing storytelling of the Sex and the City universe is coming to an end. While I was writing the last episode of And Just Like That… season three, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop.

“Along with Sarah Jessica Parker, Casey Bloys and Sarah Aubrey, we decided to end the popular series this year with a two-part finale and extended the original series order from 10 episodes to 12.

“SJP and I held off announcing the news until now because we didn’t want the word ‘final’ to overshadow the fun of watching the season. It’s with great gratitude we thank all the viewers who have let these characters into their homes and their hearts over these many years.”

Sarah Jessica Parker, who portrayed Carrie Bradshaw in the series, wrote of her sadness at bidding farewell to a role that has “dominated (her) professional heartbeat” for nearly three decades.

The 60-year-old star penned: “Carrie Bradshaw has dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all. I know others have loved her just as I have. Been frustrated, condemned and rooted for her. The symphony of all those emotions has been the greatest soundtrack and most consequential companion. Therefore the most sentimental and profound gratitude and lifetime of debt.”

Joseline Hernandez Reminds Social Media Why She’s Been That Girl

Over the weekend, a video post was shared on Joseline Hernandez’s Instagram account, captioned, “A never seen before interview of me Curated by @thegirljt 🤑”

JT appeared to be recording Hernandez as the Puerto Rican princess shouted her out.

“Shout out to my b***h, JT. I love her, she’s an icon, she’s everything — she’s the moment, and she’s amazing. She’s beautiful, she’s sexy,” Hernandez told the camera when JT jumped in and asked Joseline about herself and why others can’t style her.

In turn, Hernandez explained that she’s been an It-girl and has been “wearing Chanel.”

“She was one of the only Puerto Rican, Black girls you seen on ‘Love & Hip Hop’ wearing Chanel,” Hernandez explained before JT hyped up her makeup.

As she continued hyping herself up, Hernandez made sure to let viewers know that her jewelry collection is also not something to play with. Ultimately, Hernandez explained that style isn’t something you can put on. In her opinion, it’s something that’s either in you or not, and she has hers on lock.

Peep the footage of her poppin’ it by clicking here.

Social Media Hypes The Puerto Rican Princess

Social media users slid into TSR’s comment section, largely agreeing with the Puerto Rican princess.

Before Reminding Social Media Why She’s Been That Girl, Joseline Hernandez Opened Up About Motherhood

Before reminding social media why she’s been that girl, Joseline Hernandez opened up about her experience in motherhood. As The Shade Room previously reported, earlier this month, Hernandez took to social media to share footage of herself hitting a dance step alongside her daughter, Bonnie Bella. Furthermore, the pair were dancing to her recently released single, ‘I Like The Way You Are.’

In the caption of the clip, Hernandez explained that she is “being the best mother” she can be.

” hey said I wasn’t going to be a good mother or they said I was this and that and not fit to be a nurturing mom or a caring Mother! I’m with my seed every step of the way! I’m the #mother I never had! And I’m enjoying the process,” she wrote.

Brian Thompson, the CEO of UnitedHealthcare, was shot and killed on the morning of Wednesday, December 4, 2024, just hours before his company’s annual investor conference in New York City. The 50-year-old executive was attacked around 6:45 a.m. outside the Hilton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, located on Avenue of the Americas near 54th Street, and later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.

Thompson’s death shocked both the business world and the healthcare industry, where he had built a decades-long career and served as CEO for three years. He is survived by his wife, Paulette “Pauley” Thompson, and their two children.

Find out more about Paulette and their family below.

Who Is Paulette Thompson?

Brian’s wife, Paulette, was born in Webster City, Iowa. She works as a physical therapist with Park Nicollet Health Services and earned a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Iowa, where Brian also attended college.

Do They Have Kids?

Brian and Paulette raised two young sons together in the family’s $1.5 million home in Maple Grove, Minnesota.

According to the Daily Mail, her work bio states, “I love spending time with my two boys and taking them to all of their activities. I also enjoy boating, spending time with family and friends, playing piano, biking, and traveling. I am dedicated and passionate about well-being and want to make a difference in other people’s lives. I love helping people recover from injuries and giving them a sense of empowerment over their health, so they can live their lives to the fullest—getting them back to their baseline, or in some cases, surpassing it.”

What Did She Say After Brian’s Death?

Following the news of her husband’s fatal shooting, Paulette told NBC News, “There had been some threats” against her husband.

“Basically I don’t know, a lack of coverage? I don’t know details,” she said. “I just know that he said there were some people that had been threatening him.”

“I can’t really give a thoughtful response right now,” she continued. “I just found this out and I’m trying to console my children.”

In a statement to CNN on Wednesday, she said, “We are shattered to hear about the senseless killing of our beloved Brian. Brian was an incredibly loving, generous, talented man who truly lived life to the fullest and touched so many lives. Most importantly, Brian was an incredibly loving father to our two sons and will be greatly missed.”

Robert Redford, Hollywood icon and Sundance founder, dead at 89 – National

by jummy84 September 17, 2025
written by jummy84

Robert Redford, actor and Oscar-winning director, died early Tuesday morning in his home in Utah. He was 89.

His death was announced in a statement by Cindi Berger, the chief executive of the publicity firm Rogers & Cowan PMK.

Berger said Redford died at his home “in the mountains of Utah — the place he loved, surrounded by those he loved. He will be missed greatly. The family requests privacy.”

His cause of death was not revealed.

After rising to stardom in the 1960s, Redford was one of the biggest stars of the ’70s with such films as The Candidate, All the President’s Men and The Way We Were, capping that decade with the best director Oscar for 1980’s Ordinary People, which also won best picture in 1980. His wavy blond hair and boyish grin made him the most desired of leading men, but he worked hard to transcend his looks — whether through his political advocacy, his willingness to take on unglamourous roles or his dedication to providing a platform for low-budget movies.

His roles ranged from Washington Post journalist Bob Woodward to a mountain man in Jeremiah Johnson to a double agent in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and his co-stars included Jane Fonda, Meryl Streep and Tom Cruise.

But his most famous screen partner was his old friend and fellow activist and practical joker Paul Newman, their films a variation of their warm, teasing relationship off screen. Redford played the wily outlaw opposite Newman in 1969’s Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, a box-office smash from which Redford’s Sundance Institute and festival got its name. He also teamed with Newman on 1973’s best picture Oscar winner, The Sting, which earned Redford a best-actor nomination as a young con artist in 1930s Chicago.

Film roles after the ’70s became more sporadic as Redford concentrated on directing and producing, and his new role as patriarch of the independent-film movement in the 1980s and ’90s through his Sundance Institute. But he starred in 1985’s best picture champion Out of Africa and in 2013 received some of the best reviews of his career as a shipwrecked sailor in All is Lost, in which he was the film’s only performer. In 2018, he was praised again in what he called his farewell movie, The Old Man and the Gun.

“I just figure that I’ve had a long career that I’m very pleased with. It’s been so long, ever since I was 21,” he told The Associated Press shortly before the film came out. “I figure now as I’m getting into my 80s, it’s maybe time to move toward retirement and spend more time with my wife and family.”

Sundance is born

Redford had watched Hollywood grow more cautious and controlling during the 1970s and wanted to recapture the creative spirit of the early part of the decade. Sundance was created to nurture new talent away from the pressures of Hollywood, the institute providing a training ground and the festival, based in Park City, Utah, where Redford had purchased land with the initial hope of opening a ski resort. Instead, Park City became a place of discovery for such previously unknown filmmakers as Quentin Tarantino, Steven Soderbergh, Paul Thomas Anderson and Darren Aronofsky.

“For me, the word to be underscored is ‘independence,’” Redford told the AP in 2018. “I’ve always believed in that word. That’s what led to me eventually wanting to create a category that supported independent artists who weren’t given a chance to be heard.

“The industry was pretty well controlled by the mainstream, which I was a part of. But I saw other stories out there that weren’t having a chance to be told and I thought, ‘Well, maybe I can commit my energies to giving those people a chance.’ As I look back on it, I feel very good about that.”

Sundance was even criticized as buyers swarmed in looking for potential hits and celebrities overran the town each winter.

“We have never, ever changed our policies for how we program our festival. It’s always been built on diversity,” Redford told the AP in 2004. “The fact is that the diversity has become commercial. Because independent films have achieved their own success, Hollywood, being just a business, is going to grab them. So when Hollywood grabs your films, they go, ‘Oh, it’s gone Hollywood.’”

By 2025, the festival had become so prominent that organizers decided they had outgrown Park City and approved relocating to Boulder, Colorado, starting in 2027. Redford, who had attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, issued a statement saying that “change is inevitable, we must always evolve and grow, which has been at the core of our survival.”

Redford was married twice, most recently to Sibylle Szaggars. He had four children, two of whom have died — Scott Anthony, who died in infancy, in 1959; and James Redford, an activist and filmmaker who died in 2020.

Redford’s early life

Robert Redford was born Charles Robert Redford Jr. on Aug. 18, 1937, in Santa Monica, a California boy whose blond good looks eased his way over an apprenticeship in television and live theatre that eventually led to the big screen.

Redford attended college on a baseball scholarship and would later star as a middle-aged slugger in 1984’s The Natural, the adaptation of Bernard Malamud’s baseball novel. He had an early interest in drawing and painting, then went on to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, debuting on Broadway in the late 1950s and moving into television on such shows as The Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock Presents and The Untouchables.

After scoring a Broadway lead in Sunday in New York, Redford was cast by director Mike Nichols in a production of Neil Simon’s Barefoot in the Park, later starring with Fonda in the film version. Redford did miss out on one of Nichols’ greatest successes, The Graduate, released in 1967. Nichols had considered casting Redford in the part eventually played by Dustin Hoffman, but Redford seemed unable to relate to the socially awkward young man who ends up having an affair with one of his parents’ friends.

“I said, ‘You can’t play it. You can never play a loser,’” Nichols said during a 2003 screening of the film in New York. “And Redford said, ‘What do you mean? Of course I can play a loser.’ And I said, ‘OK, have you ever struck out with a girl?’ and he said, ‘What do you mean?’ And he wasn’t joking.”

Indie champion, mainstream star

Even as Redford championed low-budget independent filmmaking, he continued to star in mainstream Hollywood productions himself, scoring the occasional hit such as 2001’s Spy Game, which co-starred Brad Pitt, an heir apparent to Redford’s handsome legacy whom he had directed in A River Runs Through It.

Ironically, The Blair Witch Project, Garden State, Napoleon Dynamite and other scrappy films that came out of Sundance sometimes made bigger waves — and more money — than some Redford-starring box-office duds like Havana, The Last Castle and An Unfinished Life.

Redford also appeared in several political narratives. He satirized campaigning as an idealist running for U.S. senator in 1972’s The Candidate and uttered one of the more memorable closing lines, “What do we do now?” after his character manages to win. He starred as Woodward to Hoffman’s Carl Bernstein in 1976’s All the President’s Men, the story of the Washington Post reporters whose Watergate investigation helped bring down President Richard Nixon.

With 2007’s Lions for Lambs, Redford returned to directing in a saga of a congressman (Tom Cruise), a journalist (Meryl Streep) and an academic (Redford) whose lives intersect over the war on terrorism in Afghanistan.

His biggest filmmaking triumph came with his directing debut on Ordinary People, which beat Martin Scorsese’s classic Raging Bull at the Oscars. The film starred Donald Sutherland and Mary Tyler Moore as the repressed parents of a troubled young man, played by Timothy Hutton, in his big screen debut. Redford was praised for casting Moore in an unexpectedly serious role and for his even-handed treatment of the characters, a quality that Roger Ebert believed set “the film apart from the sophisticated suburban soap opera it could easily have become.”

Redford’s other directing efforts included The Horse Whisperer, The Milagro Beanfield War and 1994’s Quiz Show, the last of which also earned best picture and director Oscar nominations. In 2002, Redford received an honorary Oscar, with academy organizers citing him as “actor, director, producer, creator of Sundance, inspiration to independent and innovative filmmakers everywhere.”

“The idea of the outlaw has always been very appealing to me. If you look at some of the films, it’s usually having to do with the outlaw sensibility, which I think has probably been my sensibility. I think I was just born with it,” Redford said in 2018. “From the time I was just a kid, I was always trying to break free of the bounds that I was stuck with, and always wanted to go outside.”
