Every year, universities and student communities have the same mission, running events that bring students together, such as cultural nights, society fundraisers, career fairs, and parties. Unfortunately, often those events go unseen. Promotion is scattered across posters, group chats, and social media, while ticketing tools are expensive or complicatedly designed for large corporate organisers rather than students. CampVents was created to bridge this gap.

As students ourselves facing those day-to-day challenges, we built our mobile platform CampVents specifically for universities, students, societies, and cultural communities. It provides students one place to explore what’s happening around them, buy tickets securely, receive live updates, and walk straight into an event with their digital pass. Organisers using the platform experience barriers being removed, they can now create events in minutes, sell tickets without upfront costs, and gather feedback afterwards. The result is higher visibility, stronger attendance, and a more vibrant student experience.
What makes CampVents stand out is its focus on accessibility and trust. All events are created by partnering universities and recognised communities which ultimately ensures quality and safety. The platform is mobile-first and effortless, students are not required to use multiple apps or links, and communities don’t need extra tech support to set up their events. Built with vision and scalability, CampVents is designed to grow across Europe and beyond, connecting students to real-world experiences on a global stage.
Being shortlisted for the 2025 Events Technology Awards as Best Events Management Platform is recognition of this mission: to increase students’ engagement and make events more inclusive and discoverable. For CampVents, this is more than a milestone, it’s the beginning of a wider journey with the sole goal of helping the next generation of event organisers and students connect more easily than ever before.
With student life at its heart, CampVents represents the future of event tech and shows that it can be simple, community-driven, and built for the people who will shape tomorrow’s experiences.
