Robyn Roars Back With ‘Dopamine’

by jummy84 November 12, 2025
written by jummy84

Robyn has lifted a seven-year hiatus from new music with the fresh single “Dopamine,” which arrived with little warning today (Nov. 12) from new record label Young. The track was co-written with longtime collaborator Klas Åhlund and Taio Cruz, and produced by Robyn and Åhlund.

“Everyone has a phone where they see their heart rate, and we’re learning how to decode our emotions through the hormones and chemical substances in our bodies,” Robyn says. “It’s almost like we don’t even accept that we’re human anymore, like we’re trying to shoot ourselves out of it and explain every single thing — which I think is great, but that’s also why the world is shit — this idea that you can figure out and win life or something. The doubleness of ‘Dopamine’ is having an emotion that is super real, super strong, intense, enjoyable or painful, and at the same time knowing that this is just a biological process in my body — and then not to choose religion or science. To just accept that they’re there together and to be able to go in between.”

An accompanying video for “Dopamine” is also out, starring Robyn and directed by photographer Marili Andre.

Robyn has been quiet on the musical front since 2018’s Honey, which debuted at a career-best No. 40 on the Billboard 200. Since then, she’s made sporadic appearances on projects by Jamie xx, S.G. Lewis and Neneh Cherry, and has also popped up for surprise concert cameos with Gracie Abrams and Charli xcx.

The artist is widely known for her 2010 single “Dancing on My Own,” which has been streamed more than 405 million times on Spotify.

Unrivaled, TNT Sports Add Fourth Night of Games for 2026 Season

by jummy84 November 12, 2025
written by jummy84

Women’s basketball league Unrivaled is expanding in its second season — both in its number of teams and its TV footprint.

The 3-on-3 league, co-founded by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, is adding a fourth night of games on TNT Sports for the coming season, which tips off Jan. 5. The league is also expanding to eight teams, up from six for its inaugural season earlier this year.

Games will air on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday throughout the eight-week season; TNT, TruTV and HBO Max will have the Friday and Monday contests, and Saturday and Sunday games will run on TruTV and HBO Max.

The additional night — last season didn’t have games on Sundays — allows Unrivaled to eliminate back-to-back games for its players. In the coming season, four teams will play on Friday and Sunday each week, and the other four will play on Saturday and Monday.

One of the things that I think our players credit us with the most is actually listening to them, and we want to keep them as healthy as humanly possible — not for not just for our league, but for the [WNBA] as well,” Unrivaled chief content officer John Learing told The Hollywood Reporter. “So when they did come to us and say that they would like us to consider ways to find some some some more [breaks in the schedule], it’s what our basketball ops team focused on probably more than anything in the offseason.”

TNT Sports’ Unrivaled telecasts will look somewhat different this season. Learing and TNT Sports executive vp and chief content officer Craig Barry told THR that the league’s purpose-built arena in Miami will feature more fans in the primary camera shots (last season, those shots were mostly of a large video wall) and bringing some more of TNT Sports’ long history televising basketball into the mix.

“We’re making a significantly larger contribution to the overall production presentation, because we want parity across all of our sports properties,” Barry told THR. “Not that it wasn’t good before — it just had room to grow and evolve.”

The changes to the arena setup are part of that, Barry noted: “The interesting thing about a small venue — especially a venue like that, where you have control of [the layout], the energy really is part of the primary driver of the presentation of the event. If you’ve been to that venue, the live energy is totally different while you’re there. The conversations that we’ve had [have focused on] the translation of that energy — we need to see it and feel it more through the screen.”

Unrivaled games averaged 221,000 viewers for TNT and TruTV simulcasts last season — a fraction of NBA or WNBA games on cable but a solid start for an entirely new league with a significantly different format (3-on-3 vs. 5-on-5) from other basketball leagues. Barry said the audience on TNT skewed about 60 percent female, significantly higher than for other women’s sports across linear TV.

“They’re finding their own audience, and they have a voice,” Barry said. “People are liking this product, and they’re going to find this league. That’s very reassuring when you’re creating something and looking for success.”

Unrivaled played all of its games in the 850-seat arena built for the league (and for TV production) last season, but it will on the road for one night in the coming season. On Jan. 30, two games (Breeze vs. Phantom and Rose vs. Lunar Owls) will take place at Philadelphia’s Xfinity Mobile Arena, home of the NBA’s 76ers. “I think it will be fascinating to see what this looks like in a giant arena,” said Learing.

He also said staying with TNT Sports for season two of Unrivaled was a “no-brainer” for the league. “We always wanted to stay. It made the most sense,” he said. “We’re a brand new league. We’re entering our second season, and I just think that we wanted to uncomplicate the search for our content as much as possible. And we already had the best partner we could imagine.”

Tom Ford Resort 2026 Menswear Collection

by jummy84 November 12, 2025
written by jummy84

“As I delve further into the Tom Ford ambiance, my dance continues,” said Haider Ackermann. This pleasant metaphor for fashion creative direction was delivered pre-recorded, in a note that accompanied these recently-readied photos of a resort menswear collection glimpsed in the company’s Milan showroom way back in June. So far, Ackermann has been dedicating his Big Designer Energy to the runway shimmying of his mainline shows in Paris.

Yet even without any live movement, interaction, or context to frame it, this resort package generated some tempo. Its most urgent element was the insistent percussion of commercial imperative; this collection and its womenswear partner have been timed to go on sale very shortly after this review drops. Around this beat were framed some choral highlights articulated through color; a red suede shirt worn over a lilac sweater, a blue suede blouson over a yellow silk shirt, some dashing pink sweater and sock interplay, and a gorgeous dark electric blue raincoat were all emblematic of Ackermann’s virtuoso palette playing.

“I aim at depicting a mosaic of masculine selves,” wrote the designer, adding that his menswear is driven by “noble spirits that inhabit and bring to life my vision.” These spirit-summoned selves broke down into three broad categories. There were the formal selves in tautly cut but decadently fabricated tailoring that seemed a little skinnier than Ford’s OG Zegna-cut block, the house archetype semi-formal country club rich kid in lushly appointed preppy staples, and the aspiring roué-flaneur in robes or happily crumpled same-color separates. Writing in his collection note Ackermann pointed to “ease, nonchalance, and studied carelessness,” as the three closely-related attributes he was working to distill within this appealing resort offer.

A thriller starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried sounds like a dream, and it has come true! The A-list actresses will lead Lionsgate’s movie The Housemaid. The Euphoria star will play the role of Millie, and the Dropout alum will play the character Nina.

Hollywood Life has rounded up everything you need to know about Amanda and Sydney’s new movie, The Housemaid.

What Is ‘The Housemaid’ About?

The Housemaid follows a struggling young woman named Millie, who gets a fresh start by working as a housemaid for wealthy couple Nina and Andrew. Per the film’s logline, “Millie soon learns the family’s secrets are far more dangerous than her own.” The movie is based on the bestselling book of the same name.

Lionsgate Motion Picture Group co-president Erin Westerman released a statement to Deadline about the project, which read, “Part of the fun of the book was imagining the cast while we read it, and Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried are perfect for Millie and Nina – they’re both mysterious, nuanced, and incredibly skilled at becoming characters who don’t reveal everything right away. We’re thrilled to team them with [director] Paul Feig, who we worked with on A Simple Favor and its upcoming sequel and has a proven track record of developing stories with dynamic female leads.”

“A great filmmaker and a great cast with a great script from a great book is a terrific place to start,” Adam added. “My prior work experiences with Paul and Amanda have been nothing short of spectacular, and Sydney is as talented and compelling as can be.”

‘The Housemaid’ Movie Cast

Sydney and Amanda are playing Millie Calloway and Nina Winchester, respectively, and they’re joined by Brandon Sklenar as Andrew Winchester, Michele Morrone as Enzo, Elizabeth Perkins as Evelyn Winchester, Indiana Elle as Cecelia Winchester, Mark Grossman as Scott Crawford, Hannah Cruz as Lexi, Megan Ferguson as Jilianne and Ellen Tamaki as Patrice.

Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have been quite coy about their relationship, even after their private engagement in October this year. Finally, fans got a glimpse of their PDA at the success event held for Rashmika’s latest release, The Girlfriend, in Hyderabad. Take a look. Rashmika Mandanna couldn’t stop blushing as Vijay Deverakonda kissed her hand.

Vijay turned up at the event for The Girlfriend to support his fiancée, Rashmika. In a sweet moment that caught everyone’s attention, he took Rashmika’s hand and kissed it in their first public display of affection. Rashmika couldn’t help but blush as he looked at her sweetly while doing it. Camera flashes of photographers and fans surrounding them went off, capturing the perfect, filmy moment.

Fans couldn’t keep calm as videos of the moment began circulating on social media. “His real life #girlfriend,” commented one fan, while another wrote, “Abba, finally!” One fan wrote, “Awww kondannaa,” while many others commented with heart and heart eyes emojis. Even if the moment was a quick one, fans present at the event cheered loudly as soon as they saw what had happened. Some took it as final confirmation that the couple was in fact getting married soon, despite them remaining mum.

Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika Mandanna’s relationship

Vijay and Rashmika were fan favourites since they starred in the 2018 film Geetha Govindam and the 2019 film Dear Comrade. In 2018, Rashmika had also broken off her engagement with Kannada actor Rakshit Shetty, citing incompatibility. While Vijay was linked to others over the years, and Rashmika has always maintained that they’re good friends, it is unknown when their relationship turned romantic.

In October this year, Vijay’s team confirmed to HT that he and Rashmika have gotten engaged. They also confirmed that the couple will tie the knot in February next year. Vijay or Rashmika has yet to publicly talk about their relationship.

Stephen A. Smith Addresses Michelle Beadle’s Prayers For His Downfall

by jummy84 November 12, 2025
written by jummy84

Stephen A. Smith has responded to sports commentator Michelle Beadle‘s explosive tirade targeting him, in which Beadle reveled in her admission that she “prays” for Smith’s “downfall.”

Beadle recently unloaded on Smith during a broadcast on her platform, Beadle & Decker, tearing into the ESPN star for partnering with a “fraudulent” gaming company to promote their digital solitaire game.

“Honestly, I’m not a religious person, but I pray for the downfall,” Beadle said on the episode, which was uploaded on the show’s YouTube last Thursday (Nov. 6). “It’s gross, man, you gotta have principles in this thing.”

On Friday (Nov. 7), during his afternoon show on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Sports Radio, Smith appeared to address Beadle’s comments, albeit without mentioning her by name.

“I hear people talking about me on SiriusXM and who they would have preferred and who they would have wanted or whatever. I’ve been doing this for 30 years,” Smith began. “I’ve been blessed and fortunate that when I’m doing stuff in this industry, I win.

“You got some people that were in this business and they talk smack now cause they can’t get a job in the business cause they didn’t do a good enough job when they were in the business so now they gotta talk smack and their reputation is they’re talking to people.”

Smith went on to seemingly accuse Beadle of having a bad attitude and lacking work ethic, factors he suggests has left her without a job at a major network or media company. “Well, what you got going on,” the Hollis, Queens native asked.

“It’s all of that that comes with it, because somewhere along the way, they didn’t do what it took to resonate continuously. And that’s why they’re on the outside looking in… they don’t have a job in the industry. Don’t think they don’t want one. They do. They just didn’t know how to act, and they didn’t know how to be productive enough to keep a job.”

He continued, adding, “Some of these podcasts, some of the stuff that you see them saying, they ain’t even talking about things, they are talking about people because they don’t have to do real work. They can find a way to get clicks and make money that way cause they can’t make money any way else.

“Those people, you let them keep talking and you feel bad for them from time to time cause that’s how desperate they’ve become. And they know who they are. And so do you.”

The discord between Smith and Beadle dates back to their days working together at ESPN, with the two clashing over Smith’s comments regarding former NFL star Ray Rice’s domestic assault of his wife, which Beadle publicly deemed as tone-deaf and insensitive.

Smith would receive widespread backlash for advising women to avoid provoking men in hopes of avoiding a physical altercation. In addition to issuing a public apology for his remarks, he was suspended from appearing on-air for a week, a strong reprimand many believed was influenced in part by Beadle’s visceral reaction.

The drama between Beadle and Smith bubbled back to the surface earlier this year, when Smith announced his new SiriusXM radio show in Beadle’s time-slot, essentially replacing her on the network.

Beadle’s ire towards Smith was clear during her verbal assault of the 58-year-old former columnist, referencing his new deal with Papaya Gaming, which he teased after being “caught” playing solitaire on his phone while attending an NBA Finals Game this past June.

“ESPN pays him a gazillion dollars to get a lot of stuff wrong and yell,” Beadle said of Smith. “He gets caught playing solitaire during the NBA freaking Finals. You created this monster. He is bigger than you now, and that’s exactly your fault. You let him run rampant all over that company.

“He made you look like fools for handing him a blank check in the first place,” she added. “He doesn’t even give a sh*t about the stuff that he’s paid a gazillion dollars to talk about. Now he’s turning around and turning that into a money-making opportunity. Then the money-making opportunity looks like it’s a fraudulent crap business to begin with.”

Smith has since called out Beadle, as well as former ESPN moderator and host Cari Champion, by name on his Straight Shooter With Stephen A. segment on Tuesday (Nov. 11).

My It-Girl Tumbler Blender Is My Emotional Support Object

by jummy84 November 12, 2025
written by jummy84

Refinery29 is proud to partner with SharkNinja, purveyor of high-quality products and appliances designed to make your life easier — like the Ninja BlendBOSS™, a powerful tumbler blender for when you’re on the go. One fan of the Ninja BlendBOSS™ is Samantha Feher, a 28-year-old New York City-based podcaster, entrepreneur, and content creator. Here, in this personal essay, as told to Andrea Cheng, she opens up and gets vulnerable about her wellness journey, her new approach to health and fitness, and how the Ninja BlendBOSS™ seamlessly fits into her everyday routine.

Two years ago, I was in a pretty bad place. I cried, like, every day. Not that you’d know it — I appeared on millions of Americans’ TV screens every Monday night with a smile plastered on my face, reminding everyone that summer should be fun. I was thrust into the national spotlight after being cast in a reality show. There, I met (and started dating) a man who was just…not very nice to me. But sometimes really nice. And then really not nice again. I think the kids call it a “toxic relationship.” So I was navigating that, which left me in a spiral of insecurity and depression and anxiety, and simultaneously dealing with snarky commentary from the millions of people watching it play out.

I felt like I was under a magnifying glass, with everyone on earth seeing the worst parts of my life up close. All I could think about was how I was perceived, so I started living my life according to what I thought these people thought of me. In short, I was living two lives: one of red carpets and toothy grins, which mostly felt disingenuous — and one that was more honest, but totally miserable. It was only when my relationship ended that I realized how much of a toll it had taken on me, both physically and mentally. There wasn’t anything wrong with me, I realized — there was something wrong with…well, that.

So I decided to embark on a healing journey (insert sparkle emojis here). In November 2023, I overhauled my life, determined to “do the work.” Signs of trauma had already shown up in my body: I was inflamed, I was bloated, and my skin was breaking out. I researched anti-inflammatory nutrition and changed my workout routine accordingly. I took care of my inner self: I went to therapy, I journaled, I unpacked some hard stuff, I took breaks from social media, I spent quality time with friends and family.

Throughout this two-year journey, I learned to prioritize my mental and physical health. But the biggest takeaway was learning about health in a whole new light — one that’s not entirely accessible nor intuitive. There’s a dearth of health information written by women, for women, and about women. For example: the importance of lifting weights. I’m on a body recomposition journey (sounds intimidating, I know, but hear me out) that’s basically an effort to eat more protein, carbohydrates, and fats. All it really means is that I’m trying to gain muscle, because skeletal muscle mass is directly correlated to how long we live. Simply put: I want to be strong. I want to build muscle so that I can live longer, so that I can pick things up, so that I don’t get injured when I work out. So that even if my heart gets broken, my mind and body remain in one piece.

And to be completely honest, I can’t do it without my Ninja BlendBOSS™. I’ve always been a smoothie girly, but my protein shakes have become an integral part of my daily routine, especially once I discovered that I needed to drastically up my protein intake. Now I can hardly make it out the door without my stomach growling if I don’t start my morning by blending up a protein shake (mine tastes like dessert, I swear), and I can’t recover afterwards without my 100 ounces of water, powdered supplements, or my homemade electrolyte concoction.

The Ninja BlendBOSS™ is kind of like an everything-in-one product — it’s a blender, a tumbler, a bottle, conveniently housed in an easy-to-use (and super chic) vessel. It’s for the busy mom on the go, for the hydration queen whose emotional support object is her water bottle (me), for the fitness It girl who doesn’t like stray from her routine (also me).

If you’ve never fueled with a goal in mind, it’s hard to even understand what kind of a lifesaver this is. I always do a big existential sigh when women say they avoid lifting weights because they’re “afraid of getting bulky.” If only they knew how much food they’d have to eat to achieve such a thing. Since I’m trying to hit 125g of protein, 225g of carbs, and 50g of fat, adding protein powder, peanut butter, bananas, and Greek yogurt into a shake allows me to consume at least 30g of protein before I’m even out the door in the morning. Thanks to the Ninja BlendBOSS™, I’m hitting my numbers in a way that’s healthy and enjoyable.

For almost all my life, the driving force when it came to my physical appearance was to look a certain way for other people, to fit what I thought was the beauty standard…which, to be blunt, was skinny. As a kid, with my blonde hair and blue eyes, I grew up hearing that I looked like a doll, and I spent my whole life feeling like I was supposed to look the part. That meant being a size double zero, having visible abs, and making sure my hair, makeup, and nails were always done.

I should mention that I was a ballerina growing up, with the plan to go pro (I lost out to a career-ending injury at 16). Anyone who’s ever done ballet will know that many studios are breeding grounds for body image issues. Clad in light pink leotards and tights, dancers almost invariably hear “I can see your lunch,” (as in…they can see your stomach) more times than they hear “great work” before the age of 13.

Historically, women are trained to think that getting in shape means losing weight — and losing weight means more cardio and less food. For so long, that was my mindset, too. I used to frequent HIIT classes, which are optimized for higher heart rates and dropping pounds. But two of my trainers over the years — Taylor Rae Roman and Madison Feeney — both of whom I now consider friends, reshaped my thinking. Through them, I learned to prioritize strong over skinny.

I’ll confess: When I first set out to build muscle, I was terrified. As a dancer, creator, and public figure, I’ve always been hyper-aware of what my body looked and felt like. I thought: What if I look in the mirror and don’t recognize myself? I already know that there will be times I pick myself apart — pinching parts of me, second-guessing, and worrying what other people think. Those are habits you don’t unlearn in a day.

But the motivation to do this is for myself — not for other people. And it’s not easy, but if I’ve learned anything on this journey, it’s that everything worth doing is hard. Already, I’m seeing a difference. Just this morning, I noticed that my body looked a little bigger. But I also noticed something more important, more exciting: the voice inside my head that shouted out my wins drowned out the voice that whispered my fears. I picked up a 45-pound weight instead of a 40-pound one. I climbed the five flights of stairs to my apartment without feeling out of breath. I felt hungry for every meal, because, finally, I’m supporting my body with nutrients in a way that actually makes my metabolism go faster. It all feels so rewarding and encouraging, because it’s how your body is supposed to operate. To the untrained eye, these changes are too subtle to notice, but they’re a big deal to me.

You know the saying, “You have to love yourself before someone else can love you”? I really used to think it was BS. But I must say: I’m not sure it’s a coincidence that the first time I started to love myself — six-ish months into my healing journey — is also when my boyfriend and I started dating. And I don’t think it’s a coincidence that this is the healthiest, happiest relationship I’ve ever known. Every single thing that’s good in your life comes from loving yourself. If you take care of yourself, you can feel strong, powerful. Beautiful. Lovable.

Anyway, if you’ve made it this far, you must be wondering where I’ve ended up. To answer your question: I’m still in it. Because despite society convincing us that there’s a “before” and “after” for every journey, the truth is: It’s never really over. But I have settled on my destination. After all this soul searching, this healing, I feel like it’s my duty to share this message with other women who are going through the same things. I know how many of them are 30 minutes into their excruciating spin classes, thinking, If I’m just one inch smaller, maybe someone will love me. I’ve been there. I know what it’s like to outsource your identity and self-respect to the opinions of others. It sucks. So if I can help even one person change that mindset, or even pursue a goal of being stronger and healthier for themselves, and no one else…then I’d go through all the pain again, so we could find ourselves here, together, now. It would all be worth it.

Prince William made a surprise appearance on Dancing with the Stars on Tuesday night to show his support for contestant Robert Irwin.

The Prince of Wales, 43, popped in unexpectedly during the 20th anniversary episode of the competition dance show to share a few words of encouragement with Irwin, an Earthshot Prize ambassador for William’s environmental initiative, which aims to find innovative solutions to repair and protect the planet.

Irwin, 21, told his dancing partner Witney Carson that he was supposed to be in Brazil for the Earthshot Prize awards in Rio de Janeiro on Nov. 5 but he had to tell William, “Sorry, I can’t make it. I’m still here.”

“We’re missing you, Robert,” William said in a video message. “Whilst your twinkle toes are going off elsewhere, I need you down here.”

William told Carson that she needs to “get him in as much glitter as you can.”

“Guys, you’ve got a seriously good chance of winning it,” William said during the FaceTime call. “So, just the best of luck on the show.”

“I can’t believe he just said my name,” Carson said.
