Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s Courtroom Clash Just Got Pushed… and Hollywood Is Holding Its Breath

by jummy84 December 12, 2025
written by jummy84

Hollywood loves a plot twist, but no one expected the Blake Lively vs Justin Baldoni case to turn into the industry’s most-watched slow burn. The highly publicized sexual-harassment lawsuit, which has already fueled countless headlines and think pieces, just hit another dramatic shift: the trial has officially been postponed. Originally scheduled for March 2026, the case will now go to court in May due to scheduling issues with the judge. And trust  the delay is only turning up the heat.

For months, the situation has hovered like a storm cloud over two major careers. Blake Lively, one of Hollywood’s most beloved actresses, is known for carefully protecting her public image. Justin Baldoni, actor and director, has spent years cultivating a reputation around social impact, vulnerability, and emotional intelligence. So the very existence of this lawsuit shocked fans on both sides. And now, with two extra months added to the timeline, the speculation machine is spinning at full speed.

Publicists are scrambling. Studios are whispering. Commentators are analyzing every micro-movement. The delay isn’t just a calendar shift  it’s a new chapter in one of Hollywood’s tensest moments.

Industry insiders say the reschedule could change the entire legal and PR landscape surrounding the case. With awards-season campaigns gearing up and 2026 production schedules starting to lock in, both actors will now have this legal shadow looming over crucial months. That means red carpet appearances might be muted, press junkets may feel colder, and brand partnerships could stay on ice until the courtroom dust settles.

Online, the reaction has been instant. Fans of both stars erupted across social media, with Lively’s supporters calling the delay “torture” and Baldoni’s followers urging everyone to “wait for the facts.” Meanwhile, gossip accounts are treating the news like a season finale cliffhanger. It’s messy. It’s loud. It’s very Hollywood.

What everyone agrees on: this case is bigger than two celebrities. It’s touching the heart of a conversation the industry has been having for years about boundaries, power, and what accountability looks like when both people involved are A-list.

As May approaches, the eyes of the entertainment world will be locked in. The postponed trial hasn’t cooled the fire it’s only made the spotlight hotter. And in a town that thrives on high-stakes drama, this may be the story that defines early 2026.

Adam Lippes Pre-Fall 2026 Collection

by jummy84 December 12, 2025
written by jummy84

That Adam Lippes has a thing for flowers, labradoodles, and interiors as eclectically appointed as they are exacting is understood by all who know him. Save for those lucky enough to have enjoyed a summertime spin through the Berkshires in his forest green 1972 Mercedes Benz 280SE 4.5, his passion for fine automobiles is rather more of a hidden trait, but that changes now. For pre-fall, Lippes has tapped into his love of cars, producing a collection with a sportier, more streamlined, and, here and there, sexier vibe than his clients are accustomed to. It’s a collection for “short, hot nights,” he said.

Starting with the obvious, there’s not a floral print in sight. He preferred bold Grand Prix–inspired stripes for his graphic treatment this season, using them on a silk taffeta funnel-neck anorak and a matching midi skirt in silk crepe. More often than not, though, the skirts here were mini-length. Micro-mini, even. Lippes did them in glossy black lambskin, a black double-face silk duchesse finished with an exaggerated bow, and a crisp wool gabardine of the kind found in luxury car interiors; those were finished with car-seat buckles. Naturally, there was racing-car red on a delicate drop stitch knit dress with a diamond motif lifted from his new logo, as well as on a skin-baring bodysuit worn with chinos that managed to be both slouchy and aerodynamic at the same time, a neat trick.

Lippes does a nice business in event dresses, and summer is high season. This time around his most enticing propositions were a pair of coolly confident top-and-pants sets, strapless and tunic-length in sheer plissé or a racer-back trapeze with fuller trousers. Drive, she said.

Lilli Reinhart reveals endometriosis diagnosis after ‘multiple urologists and gynecologists’ dismissed her symptoms

by jummy84 December 12, 2025
written by jummy84

Actor Lilli Reinhart has shared her diagnosis of endometriosis – a chronic disease whose symptoms include severe pain during menstruation and heavy menstrual bleeding – which was officially confirmed last week following laparoscopic surgery. Lilli Reinhart announced her endometriosis diagnosis, confirmed by laparoscopic surgery, and shared a candid Instagram post detailing her journey. (Instagram/ Lilli Reinhart)

In a candid Instagram post on December 11, the Riverdale actor shared hospital photos and detailed her frustrating and protracted journey to receive an accurate diagnosis, highlighting the importance of self-advocacy.

‘I was told there was no cure’

Lilli’s health struggles began earlier, when she was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis (IC) last year after consulting a urogynecologist. She was told there was ‘no cure for her symptoms’, a period that involved three hospital visits and consultations with multiple urologists and gynecologists.

“Last week, I was officially diagnosed with endometriosis following laparoscopic surgery. Last year, I saw a urogynecologist and was diagnosed with interstitial cystitis. I was told there was no cure — and no lasting relief — for my symptoms. Three hospital visits. Multiple urologists and gynecologists. And not one of them seriously considered endometriosis as the underlying cause of what I was experiencing,” Lilli wrote in her Instagram caption, shedding light on the common diagnostic challenges faced by those with the condition.

Actor’s path to diagnosis

The key turning point in her health journey came through working with pelvic floor therapists. Lilli said that it was through their guidance that ‘the word endometriosis was even mentioned to her as a possible source of her pain’. Her self-advocacy led her to pursue an MRI on her own, which revealed a diagnosis of adenomyosis, a condition where endometrial tissue grows into the muscular wall of the uterus. This, in turn, prompted her to meet with an endometriosis specialist who recommended laparoscopic surgery.

Highlighting the persistent challenge of medical dismissal, Lilli wrote, “It wasn’t until I worked with two different pelvic floor therapists that the word endometriosis was even mentioned to me as a possible source of my pain. I pushed for an MRI on my own, which led to a diagnosis of adenomyosis. From there, I met with an endometriosis specialist who helped me decide that laparoscopic surgery was the next step I wanted to take — while, at the same time, another gynecologist told me I ‘probably didn’t have endo’ and should just go on the pill.”

Raising awareness for a misunderstood disease

Lilli expressed relief in trusting her instincts and stressed the necessity of others doing the same. “I’m glad I trusted my body and listened to my gut and will continue advocating for others to do so,” she said.

Lilli used her platform to raise awareness about the scale and severity of the disease. The actor shared that endometriosis is “an extremely misunderstood disease, leaving often a 4-11 year gap between symptoms and a definitive surgical diagnosis.” The World Health Organisation estimates that 1 in 10 people with uteruses have endo, she added.

Her announcement is expected to bring greater visibility to the chronic condition, which involves tissue similar to the lining of the uterus growing outside of the uterus, causing significant pain and other health complications.

Music Box Doc ‘Happy And You Know It’ Trailer on Children’s Music

“Believe in a little bit of magic.” HBO has revealed an official trailer for another fascinating new Music Box documentary film titled Happy And You Know It, the latest mesmerizing cinematic creation from the wonderful doc filmmaker Penny Lane. Subverting the notion that making music for children is easy and proving that love, imagination, and emotional truth are the foundations of songs that resonate, Happy And You Know It reminds us of the magical way music connects us across generations and to the child inside us all. The doc dives into the surprisingly powerful world of children’s music, uncovering origin stories of the artists who shaped the genre. It chronicles the unexpected paths musicians take to embrace the creative freedom found in writing music that shapes childhoods. Featuring conversations with talented musicians like Anthony Field of “The Wiggles”, Chris Ballew, Divinity Roxx, Laurie Berkner, Johnny Only, and many others. I’m a big fan of Penny Lane’s other Music Box doc Listening to Kenny G and this one looks just as good. I’m glad Penny tells this story in such a bright, beautiful, uplifting way – it is definitely worth a watch.

Here’s the full official trailer (+ poster) for Penny Lane’s doc Happy And You Know It, from YouTube:

Happy And You Know It Poster

Children’s music is terminally uncool to adults and dismissed by music critics, yet adored by kids. Music Box: Happy And You Know It explores the underestimated & wildly popular genre, delving behind the scenes to tell the origin stories of some of the top names in the field. It also traces the evolution of this prolific business and how advancements in technology and AI are reshaping and turbo-charging this genre. Featuring a colorful and charming cast and their toe-tapping songs, the film reframes children’s music as a misunderstood yet vital cultural artform that influences how kids develop. Happy And You Know It is directed by by acclaimed American doc filmmaker Penny Lane, director of many other doc films including Our Nixon, Nuts!, The Pain of Others, Hail Satan?, Listening to Kenny G, and Confessions of a Good Samaritan previously, plus many other short films. Produced by Gabriel Sedgwick and Julia Lewis. Another installment in the “Music Box” series on HBO created by Bill Simmons. Executive produced by Bill Simmons, Jody Gerson, Marc Cimino. HBO will debut Penny Lane’s Happy And You Know It doc streaming on HBO Max starting on December 25th, 2025 on Christmas Day at the end of this year. Want to watch?

‘He Appears To Be Deeply Unwell’

by jummy84 December 11, 2025
written by jummy84

What To Know

  • Jimmy Kimmel questioned Donald Trump’s repeated claims of excellent health, highlighting the President’s lengthy social media posts and visible physical issues.
  • Kimmel mocked Trump’s boasts about acing cognitive exams, noting that the tests are basic and suggesting repeated testing indicates concern over his mental state.
  • The comedian also criticized Trump’s economic messaging, pointing out he’s making the ‘same mistake as Joe Biden.’

Donald Trump continues to boast of his excellent physical and mental health, but Jimmy Kimmel isn’t buying it, especially after the President’s latest lengthy rant on the issue.

On Wednesday’s (December 10) Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the late-night host touched on a ridiculously long Truth Social post Trump shared on Tuesday night (December 9) to “let us know he’s doing fine.”

“Our President appears to be deeply unwell, even for him,” Kimmel said in his opening monologe before flashing up a screenshot of Trump’s post, which was so long it covered Kimmel’s entire body.

“This post about his health is twice as long as the Gettysburg Address, and that’s not a joke,” the comedian quipped. He then looked at Trump’s claims that he “aced” three separate cognitive exams.

“Let me tell you what that means,” Kimmel told his audience. “That means he passed the first two, and they were like ‘This can’t be right. Let’s give him one more.’”

Kimmel noted these are “not the SAT tests he’s taking,” adding, “It’s a one-page exam to see if you know the difference between a camel and a goat. It’s basically the test paramedics give you when you hit your head in a jet-ski accident.”

He then addressed Trump’s hands, which have continued to draw attention over the past year due to the bruising on his skin. On Tuesday, the President appeared in Pennsylvania with a band-aid over his hand and make-up covering part of it.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! YouTube

“Something is wrong here,” Kimmel said. “The guy who is running our country is being given unscheduled dementia tests. He’s been given MRIs. He has mystery bruises he’s covering with Maybelline. And we’re supposed to accept this idea that he’s some cross between Chris Hemsworth and Albert Einstein?”

Elsewhere in Tuesday’s monologue, Kimmel addressed Trump’s speech on the economy at the Mount Airy Casino Resort in Pennsylvania. In the speech, Trump boasted of a thriving economy, while at the same time suggesting families “give up certain products,” saying, “You can give up pencils… You don’t need 37 dolls for your daughter. Two or three is nice, but you don’t need 37 dolls.”

“The guy who bedazzled this room in gold thinks your child has too many pencils at school,” Kimmel joked, adding, “His strategy, it seems, is to just keep saying things are great, which is the same mistake Joe Biden made, by the way.”

He added, “You can’t just tell people the economy is good when they’re paying more for everything. We know how much things cost. People are looking at the price of apples with our eyes, and you’re telling us to not see it.”

“He wants us to be a bunch of ‘not-sees,’” Kimmel concluded, using the pronunciation to make it sound like “Nazis.”

You can watch Kimmel’s full opening monologue in the video above and let us know your thoughts below.

7 Spring 2026 Fashion Trends to Start Wearing Right Now

by jummy84 December 11, 2025
written by jummy84

After multiple seasons defined by earthy, quiet luxury-coded hues like chocolate brown and deep burgundy, it’s high time for some fresh energy. Thank Loewe, Dior, Ralph Lauren, and Versace for supplying spring’s in-your-face inspiration. Supersaturated primary and secondary shades popped up practically everywhere we looked this season, bringing to mind a kindergarten classroom’s color scheme. Go bold by styling these pieces together, or take a more practical route by mixing them into a palette of khaki, black, white, and navy.

The slow yet inevitable rise of return-to-office policies continues apace—and whether you’re a fan, or prefer to stay home, there’s an undeniable tailoring creep in our everyday wardrobes. Designers have been mining more and more inspiration from the ’80s as of late, and nowhere is it more apparent than in their workwear. Take your pick from ever-so-exaggerated shoulders, pussy-bow blouses, classic pumps, and pencil skirts; they’re all way more wearable than you might expect, even on the weekends. (Cosigns from the likes of Saint Laurent, Chloé, Elie Saab, Schiaparelli, and Tom Ford certainly don’t hurt, either.)

Are you, are you coming back to the tree? Hunger Games fans always had the odds in their favor, now that The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping has hit shelves. Following the worldwide success of the Coriolanus Snow prequel novel and film, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, author Suzanne Collins and Lionsgate Motion Picture Group announced that a movie was in development.

After filming on Sunrise commenced in 2025, The Hollywood Reporter reported in December about original stars Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson‘s reprisal of their roles Katniss and Peeta, respectively.

Hollywood Life has rounded up all the details you need to know about the Sunrise on the Reaping book and movie.

What Is ‘Sunrise on the Reaping’ About?

The fifth book in the series takes place during the Second Quarter Quell, the 50th Hunger Games. Since fans were introduced to Katniss Everdeen during the 74th games, Sunrise on the Reaping takes place nearly 25 years before the Mockingjay changes Panem.

“The Second Quarter Quell is legendary and looms large over the history of the Games, even into the time of Katniss Everdeen a quarter-century later,” Lionsgate’s Adam Fogelson said, per The Hollywood Reporter. “Like fans around the globe, we are eagerly anticipating this exciting return to Panem.”

The story follows 16-year-old Haymitch, who lives in District Twelve with his mother and little brother. After Haymitch is suddenly taken as a tribute for the 50th Hunger Games, readers learn how his traumatic past followed him into the future as an alcoholic.

When Will the ‘Sunrise on the Reaping’ Movie Premiere?

Directed by franchise veteran Francis Lawrence, the film is set to hit theaters on November 20, 2026.

Who Is in the ‘Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping’ Cast?

The cast of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is led by Australian actor Joseph Zada, who stars as a 16-year-old Haymitch Abernathy in his breakout Hollywood role. Joining him is Gossip Girl and Hocus Pocus 2 star Whitney Peak, who plays Lenore Dove Baird, Haymitch’s girlfriend and fellow tribute from District 12.

Mckenna Grace, known for her work in Ghostbusters: Afterlife, The Handmaid’s Tale, and Gifted, takes on the role of Maysilee Donner, another District 12 tribute and Haymitch’s ally in the arena. Rounding out the cast is Jesse Plemons, the acclaimed Power of the Dog and Breaking Bad actor, who portrays Plutarch Heavensbee, a rising Capitol figure whose influence shapes the future of Panem. Maya Hawke, Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman‘s daughter, is playing Wiress.

Ralph Fiennes — known for playing iconic villains such as Voldemort in Harry Potter — was cast in the role of 58-year-old President Snow.

Molly McCann will play Louella, and Iona Bell will portray Lou Lou. Kieran Culkin was cast in the role of Caesar Flickerman.

As previously noted, Jennifer and Josh are coming back as Katniss and Peeta, respectively! According to The Hollywood Reporter, they’ll be in a “flash-forward scene,” which likely refers to the epilogue of the book when Haymich bonds with the characters as they grow up.
