Questlove Teases Posthumous D’Angelo Album: “You’ll See Soon”

by jummy84 November 11, 2025
written by jummy84

Questlove has revealed that a new album by the recently-departed D’Angelo is currently in the works.

The musician and filmmaker spoke about the prospect of new music from the late R&B star with entertainment reporter Courtney Tezeno this past weekend,

“You’ll see soon,” Questlove teased prior to a tribute performance honoring Sly Stone at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Los Angeles, offering a brief but strong hint regarding new music from D’Angelo being unvaulted.

Questlove attends the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony at Peacock Theater on November 08, 2025 in Los Angeles, California.

He then added, “It’s always the sound of yesterday, but for the future. This record is no different.”

Although the posthumous project has no title or release date yet, its very existence represents a new chapter to come in the crooner’s legacy.

It remains to be revealed whether the forthcoming album will consist of songs fully completed by D’Angelo himself, or whether Questlove (as curator, producer or archivist) will sculpt unfinished material into a finished work, but the promise alone has sparked excitement among fans.

For now, only the cryptic assurance remains. In the meantime, beloved tracks like “Lady,” “Cruisin’,” and “Really Love” serve as reminders of D’Angelo’s singular talent, his influence on generations of artists, and the potential of what might yet emerge from this new chapter.

Questlove’s connection to D’Angelo runs deep. The drummer/producer of The Roots first met D’Angelo in the mid-1990s and the two forged a musical bond that helped shape the sound of that era. D’Angelo earned four Grammy Awards and fourteen nominations over his career.

His earlier albums — Brown Sugar (1995) and Voodoo (2000) — were touchstones of the neo-soul movement, with Voodoo winning the Grammy for Best R&B Album and its single “Untitled (How Does It Feel)” taking Best Male R&B Vocal Performance.

The Virginia native’s last studio album, Black Messiah, dropped in 2014 and received widespread acclaim.

InEvent at ETL London 2025: The AI-Powered Event Tech You’ll Want to See

by jummy84 November 7, 2025
written by jummy84

ETL London 2025 is just around the corner, and there’s something brilliant about how the events industry gathers at that one location every year.

ETL London has become a mainstay as Europe’s leading event tech show. It attracts the sharpest minds across production, planning, marketing, and technology, but without the overwhelm of mega-conference chaos.

With event budgets under a microscope and AI pushing into every corner of the workflow, teams are looking for new tech that provides more innovative ways to run events, prove impact, and still create something people remember.

This year, InEvent is leaning all the way into what planners actually need: clarity, automation, and control.

You will find the team at ETL demoing some of the sharpest new solutions on the market, like AI-powered registration that lets you build adaptive registration forms in minutes, facial recognition that shortens check-in lines, and personalized dashboards that give sponsors more than just vanity metrics.

Their presence isn’t just about features. It’s about friction. Or rather, removing it.

With solutions like custom-branded event websites to enterprise-grade analytics, all deployed on Microsoft Azure, InEvent is helping large teams simplify complexity and speed up go-live.

The same team that builds the software will actually sit down with you to map your goals, budget, and timeline. It promises to be a conversation, grounded in real event pressures. For many planners, that’s been the difference between “we used a platform” and “we hit our targets.”

Meet InEvent At ETL

And if you’re arriving in London a little early…

InEvent will be hosting a private waterfront dinner on November 11th, 2025. With just 14 seats available, reservations are flying out faster than they can track. (News has it that the IMEX dinner was absolutely amazing!)

Details:

  • London Docklands
  • Tuesday, 11 November 2025 · 6:00 PM GMT

So if dining with some of the brightest minds in the industry while savoring handmade Italian with a fantastic view of London’s sunset is right up your alley, you should be at this dinner!

You’ll Be Back for These Secrets About The Terminator

by jummy84 October 26, 2025
written by jummy84

Whittled from the original idea of two cyborgs into one (the idea would inform Terminator 2: Judgment Day), The Terminator was made for about $6.4 million and made $78 million worldwide, including $38 million domestically, earning it sleeper hit status.

“But to give you some perspective, the same year [Karate Kid] made $90 million, so it was a hit, but it wasn’t like this huge, huge hit,” Michael Biehn, who played soldier-from-the-future Kyle Reese, told Ain’t It Cool News in 2011. “1984 is when it came out, that’s when most people started getting their VHS players and I think that that’s really where that movie took off. Everybody saw it on VHS.”

Biehn also worked with Cameron on Aliens and The Abyss.

Hamilton, who reunited with Cameron for T2, as well as briefly joined him in holy matrimony, probably couldn’t envision that she and her biceps would be reporting for duty 35 years after the original came out for 2019’s Terminator: Dark Fate.

“I have come to terms with the fact that I will always be Linda ‘The Terminator’ Hamilton,” she told MTV News in 2009. “I go out in the world and people just scream, ‘I love you!’ That’s a great job description. It’s wonderful to have done something that will live longer than me.”

And the rest is sci-fi history. Here are some epic secrets about the making of The Terminator:

6 Chic Coat Trends You’ll Want to Wear Well Beyond Winter 2025

by jummy84 October 14, 2025
written by jummy84

So many labels—Chloé, Valentino, Simone Rocha, Alaïa, you name it—showed faux fur this season, proposing the luxurious (and cruelty-free) material as the perfect finishing touch to any cold-weather ensemble. Play around with different lengths, finishes, and silhouettes; whether you prefer a cropped, collarless topper or a floor-skimming maxi, these coats work wonders against frigid temps. Style them with black trousers and loafers for a sophisticated, low-effort look, or go with a miniskirt, fleece-lined tights, and knee-high boots to go full boho.

Without question, deep, rich brown is the color trend of the season. And while you should also add it to your boots and bags, it might just look its best in the form of an oversized layer. It’s just as easy to wear as classic black (and looks great with the shade), but is just different enough to stand out—perfect for anyone who likes to make a subtle statement. Pair it with black boots or ballet flats in poppy shades like lavender or red.

9 Fall Pedicure Ideas You’ll Want to Wear All Season

by jummy84 September 29, 2025
written by jummy84

As we enter cozy season and you’re picking out boots and socks, it’s a no-brainer to start thinking about fall pedicure ideas. Although pedicures shine the most during summertime, we can all agree that clean and polished toes are always in season. You’ve probably already saved fall nail ideas and hair colors to your moodboard, so why not give your pedi a seasonal makeover too?

“Just like manicures, pedicures take on a seasonal shift, and autumn is the moment to lean into richer tones and elevated finishes,” says Juanita Huber-Millet, the founder and creative director of luxury nail salon Townhouse. “Think deep burgundy for a polished, statement-making look, or a sumptuous chocolate brown for that chic, cozy vibe, perfect against soft knits and ankle boots. For something more fashion-forward, a glazed chrome overlay gives pedicures a toasted, luminous edge that feels effortlessly modern.”

If you’re in need of some inspiration, you’ve come to the right place. To help get you started, we asked top nail artists for insight on the best fall pedicure ideas.

What pedicure nail colors are trending for fall?

You can never go wrong with autumnal tones that evoke the changing leaves and cozy season. “Deep burgundy, chocolate, and espresso shades perfectly capture the essence of fall, making them a versatile choice for everything from casual days to more refined occasions,” says Huber-Millet.

If you’re into nail art, there’s room for unconventional pops of color—possibly from your favorite summer nail polishes. According to celebrity nail artist Elle Gerstein, these colors can be incorporated to create a seasonal mix. She also references colors and textures that are popular this time of year to help inform your look. “Leather, sweater textures, animal textures (but not necessarily prints) and metallic finishes,” Gerstein says. “Right now, everything is playing off light and heavy and soft and hard and combining it. Sepia is a big trend for fall, it’s the same tone done over and over but make it lighter or darker whether that’s making it jelly, less opaque.”

And lastly, we can’t forget the Pantone Color of the Year, which is perfect for cool weather. “One of the strongest directions for fall pedicures this year is the rise of cocoa inspired shades,” says nail artist and educator Sofiia Mazur. “Mocha Mousse perfectly reflects this trend. Expect to see a range of shades from soft latte beiges to rich chocolate browns taking center stage. These warm neutrals not only feel seasonal but also pair beautifully with cozy fall fashion.”

7 Hair Color Trends You’ll See All Fall 2025, Per Stylists

by jummy84 September 4, 2025
written by jummy84

In my humble opinion, fall is the best time to switch up your hair look. The season as a whole is buzzing with new beginnings, so why not embrace that palpable back-to-school energy with a brand-new ‘do? That doesn’t mean you must commit to an edgy pixie or chic French bob (but if you do take the leap, more power to you!); a simple balayage or set of babylights can give you that “wow” effect without too much maintenance. As for the chicest hues to ask for? I consulted top stylists on the biggest fall 2025 hair color trends—and discovered some rather surprising takes.

“Instead of embracing the traditional ‘pumpkin spice’ color trend this year, hair color across the board will be darker, and we’re going to see more rich and golden neutral tones,” Cassie Cohen, celebrity colorist at Chris McMillan Salon, tells me. (Translation? Bye, copper!) For more info on specific fall shades, scroll on—your new expensive-looking hue lies just ahead.

Rooted Blonde

Rooted blonde, lived-in blonde, “recession” blonde—whatever you call it, know that this low-maintenance hair color is very much here to stay. “[It’s] essentially embracing the grow-out while choosing a hair color to apply at the root for a more seamless-looking growth,” celebrity hairstylist and Schwarzkopf global color expert Jonathan Colombini shares. By applying a different, lived-in color to your roots, your colorist can essentially nip those harsh grow-out lines in the bud.

“Colorist tip: Be sure to only apply color from root to the exact grow-out line of demarcation so as not to cover your blonde entirely,” he advises. “Just before the last five minutes of your processing time, using a fine-toothed comb, flick or drag the hair color no more than a quarter of an inch past grow-out. This technique will reinforce the perfect ‘melt,’ avoiding any harsh roots.”

Move over, copper—bordeaux is hot on your heels. Rich and warm, this deep red hue with brown undertones is a bold yet classy choice for fall, says Colombini. “Deep red conveys confidence, passion, and individuality. In months that feel muted, it provides an energizing, mood-lifting choice,” he adds. “The depth of wine, burgundy, and crimson mirror fall/winter tones in fashion and nature, creating harmony with darker wardrobes and seasonal palettes.” Essentially, bordeaux is poised to become a major fall color trend across categories—fashion, nails, and hair looks included.

No matter your base hair color, Cohen says a smattering of golden highlights will suit you well. “Blondes will feature more dimension through the use of deeper lowlights, richer golden highlights, and a greater incorporation of the hair’s natural root color for added depth and contrast,” she explains. For brunettes, on the other hand, some golden-brown highlights around the face and on the ends of hair will look positively radiant. “Reds will take on more red/brown tones with a dark golden undertone,” she adds. “All of these colors make for ‘expensive-looking’ hair.”

Dark-to-Light Balance

Darker hair colors skyrocket in popularity come fall, “but rather than a dramatic ‘all-or-nothing’ shift, blondes, brunettes, and redheads will embrace a balanced blend of light and dark,” Cohen explains. Think subtle, dark-to-light transitions—aka modern ombré hair—that, according to Cohen, always look expensive. “With this combination, all three hair colors will continue to glisten in the sunlight,” she adds. Bonus points if you use a shine-inducing hair gloss every few washes.
