Paresh Rawal Takes A Stand For Truth In The Taj Story Trailer – You Won’t Want To Miss This! | Glamsham.com

The trailer for The Taj Story, a bold courtroom drama starring veteran actor Paresh Rawal, has officially been unveiled, offering a provocative glimpse into what promises to be one of the most thought-provoking films of the year. Slated for theatrical release on October 31, 2025, the film challenges long-held narratives surrounding the Taj Mahal and invites viewers to question history with a critical eye.

Written and directed by Tushar Amrish Goel and produced by Warnim Global Services Pvt. Ltd. along with CA Suresh Jha, the film explores themes of truth, belief, and intellectual freedom. Creative producer Vikas Radhesham ensures that the film strikes a balance between compelling drama and philosophical depth.

In The Taj Story, Paresh Rawal plays Vishnu Das, a passionate guide determined to uncover the “real” story behind India’s most iconic monument. His quest for truth brings him face to face with powerful ideological forces, leading to fierce courtroom battles. Zakir Hussain plays a key opposing counsel, and their intense legal face-offs form the core of the narrative.

The trailer features sharp visuals, hard-hitting dialogues, and a storyline that promises more than just entertainment. “Vishnu Das is rooted in conviction,” Rawal shared. “This film doesn’t shy away from asking uncomfortable questions and encourages audiences to reflect honestly on history.”

Director Goel added, “The Taj Story is more than a film — it’s a cinematic debate. We hope it sparks meaningful dialogue.”

The cast also includes Amruta Khanvilkar, Sneha Wagh, and Namit Das in pivotal roles. Music is composed by Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dev Nath. Positioned as a fearless social drama, The Taj Story dares to ask: “Even after 79 years of Independence, are we still slaves of intellectual terrorism?”

The “Psycho Killer” Trailer Is A Gripping Thrill Ride You Won’t Want To Miss | Glamsham.com

by jummy84 October 4, 2025
written by jummy84

The haunting official trailer for Psycho Killer has finally come, providing a disturbing preview of a violent cross-country manhunt initiated by Barbarian actress Georgina Campbell. The horror thriller that awaits us is a chilling dive into the depths of psychological darkness written by Se7en screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker.

Georgina Campbell plays Jane Thorne, a Kansas highway patrolwoman whose world shatters upon the brutal murder of her husband, a state trooper. Inspired by anger and grief, Thorne isn’t about to back down and instead embarks on her own relentless hunt for the killer. But this is no typical game of cat-and-mouse—the trailer hints at something much darker. The killer she’s tracking, played with chilling ferocity by James Preston Rogers, is a Satanic serial murderer, a “Satanic Slasher,” whose depraved motives and bloody ceremonies are far greater than anything Thorne had envisioned.

Against desolate Midwestern landscapes and drenched in terror, the film’s mood recalls the dark psychological horror of Se7en and Zodiac. Horror legend Malcolm McDowell adds extra weight to the cast as he plays a as-yet-undeclared role that suggests deeper psychological depths in the narrative.

Directed by Gavin Polone, in his feature directorial debut after years as a busy producer, the film reanimates a script that Walker is said to have written over a decade ago. Now, with the producers of Barbarian behind it, Psycho Killer is being realized with all the bloody tension and psychological firepower horror enthusiasts desire.

With its dark mood, constant velocity, and profoundly disturbing premise, Psycho Killer is sure to be a must-see for fans of the genre. Psycho Killer opens in theaters across the country on February 20, 2026, and based on the preview, it’s not for the faint of heart.

Prince William won’t make ‘same mistakes’ as his parents

3 October 2025

Prince William doesn’t want to make the “same mistakes” as his parents when raising his own children.

Prince William wants to learn from his own upbringing

The 43-year-old royal – who has Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven, with wife Catherine, Princess of Wales – has pledged to “learn from” the way his own life was impacted when King Charles and his late first wife Princess Diana separated because he’s aware of how any “drama” his brood are exposed to can have an effect when they are older.

Speaking to Eugene Levy on his Apple TV+ series The Reluctant Traveler, William said: “You have to have that warmth, that feeling of safety, security, love.

“That all has to be there, and that was certainly part of my childhood. My parents got divorced at eight, so that lasted a short period of time.

“But, you take that and you learn from it and you try and make sure you don’t do the same mistakes as your parents. I think we all try and do that and I just want to do what’s best for my children, but I know that the drama and the stress when you’re small really affects you when you’re older.”

William prioritises finding the right “balance” with his work that works for his family and he and Catherine try to be present for the start and end of the school day.

Asked if he keeps a 9-5 schedule, he said: “Not really, no. It doesn’t quite work like that, but I do try and stick to school time tables as best as possible. So, most days we’re in and out of school doing pick-ups and drop offs.

“Getting the balance of work and family life right is really important. Because for me, the most important thing in my life is family, and everything is about the future and about if you don’t start the children off now with a happy, healthy, stable home, I feel you’re setting them up for a bit of a hard time and a fall.

“And so, it’s about making sure that we can look after our families, look after our children, in a way that is best for their future.”

And the family always have dinner together.

Asked if they sit at the dinner table together, William said: “Yep, absolutely, yep definitely. So, we sit and chat; it’s really important. None of our children have any phones, which we’re very strict about.”

The prince and his wife encourage their children to stay active and take part in various sports.

He said: “Louis loves the trampoline, so he’s obsessed with trampolining and actually Charlotte does a lot as well.

“As far as I can tell, they just end up jumping up and down on the trampoline, beating each other up, most of the time. Apparently, there is an art to it.

“Charlotte does her netball as well, and her ballet, and so keeping them busy with sports and being outdoors is really important.

“They’re trying to learn musical instruments. I’m not sure how successful we’re being with that. George loves his football and his hockey.”

bitchy | Jessica Mulroney won’t write a book about Meghan because Meg is so ‘powerful’

by jummy84 September 27, 2025
written by jummy84

Jessica Mulroney is not writing a memoir. She personally rejected the notion to the Daily Mail, but the Mail still ran a story in which unnamed sources swore up and down that Mulroney planned to write a memoir and that the Duchess of Sussex should be scared of what her former friend will reveal. You see, Jessica “knows where the bodies are buried” when it comes to Meghan, who left absolutely zero bodies in her Toronto wake. Meghan lived and worked in Toronto for seven years, she was part of the city’s social scene and she dated some Toronto-based guys following her divorce. That’s it. That’s the whole story of Meghan’s time in Toronto. That’s the big scandal Jessica will reveal in the nonexistent memoir: Meghan had a job, Meghan had a lot of friends, Meghan dated. Well, the Daily Mail managed to drag this story out in yet another odd exclusive.

Jessica Mulroney fears how her ‘powerful’ former best friend Meghan Markle would react if she wrote a tell-all book, a source has claimed. Ms Mulroney has reportedly been offered an advance of more than $1million to publish an account of their relationship.

The Duchess once said that ‘the room stops’ whenever her friend Jess ‘shows up’ but reportedly cut off contact when she became embroiled in an online race row related to Black Lives Matter.

Ms Mulroney has told the Daily Mail that she would ‘never’ spill the beans on what happened between them amid reports she was considering a memoir. She declined to comment further but one source has suggested that she could still be ‘biding her time’ because she blames the Duchess of Sussex for her ‘toxic’ public profile.

‘Meghan still has a lot of eyes and ears in Canada’, one insider with links to Jessica’s camp said.

‘I suspect Jessica is not sure what to do [with what she knows]. Meghan is still pretty powerful and they have a lot of people in common. She is probably biding her time. She lost her career but to come after Meghan could be perceived as being petty and bitter and could potentially alienate her even more’.

[From The Daily Mail]

Wait, now the nonexistent memoir isn’t a memoir at all, it’s a $1 million book deal offer to write about Meghan specifically? Yeah, Jessica isn’t doing that. I could actually make a case for Jessica writing a memoir about her life as an heiress, then marrying into a powerful Canadian political family AND her friendship with Meghan. But if the offer of a contract is to “tell all” about Meghan specifically, I don’t think any of Meghan’s actual friends (former or not) would do that. It’s tacky as hell, it’s gross and Jessica would be completely ruining what’s left of her reputation. Besides all of that, it’s ridiculous to keep claiming (as the Mail does every week) that Meghan’s friends are keeping all of these dark secrets about her. The British tabloids have done a pretty thorough job of examining every part of Meghan’s life already. If there was some big scandal, they would have found it already. Meghan’s scandal-free life is a huge reason why Kensington Palace had to INVENT the fake bullying accusations.

Santa Barbara, CA Prince Harry and wife Meghan appear together at the One805 Live! event at Kevin Costner’s Santa Barbara polo field to honor first responders. The couple arrived together at around 5pm (Sept 20). They greeted well wishers in the backstage area and went to a VIP section. Meghan appeared briefly onstage with Harry as he gave an award to a first responder called Sam Dudley who helps colleagues with their mental health issues via a ‘Peer Support’ scheme. Meghan left the stage after Harry said to her ‘Oh hi hi hi’ and said nothing. She was criticized when she appeared at the same event two years ago for taking the spotlight away from those being paid tribute. Harry also made friends with and kissed the Sam’s dog, Rhonda. There was no sign of Kevin Costner himself at the event. Also spotted in the crowd were Rob Lowe, Oprah Winfrey and Maria Shriver.

bitchy | Edward Enninful won’t work with Duchess Meghan again, doesn’t want to ‘repeat myself’

by jummy84 September 23, 2025
written by jummy84

Edward Enninful is trying to rebuild his career or do something new. Two years ago, he left British Vogue after a six-year stint as editor-in-chief which revolutionized the magazine. Before Enninful, British Vogue was pretty staid and not inclusive in the least. Enninful put women of color on the cover, he brought in the Duchess of Sussex to guest-edit the magazine (in what would become the highest-selling issue in the mag’s history), and he prioritized global fashion and more international models. It’s widely believed that Enninful left British Vogue after he made a play to replace Anna Wintour and he got outmaneuvered. Whatever happened, Enninful is only hinting at it these days. He’s launched his own media company, EE72, and he’s launched a new quarterly magazine, 72 (his birth year is 1972). To promote the new venture, Enninful gave a lengthy interview to the Times of London, and it’s worth talking about some of these quotes.

He doesn’t blame Anna Wintour for his departure from Conde Nast. “I feel I really changed Vogue, and my work was pretty much done. I’ll have fond memories but I was never going to do a lifetime’s service. I couldn’t have done what Anna has done.”

He swears he hasn’t fallen out with Wintour. “I text a bit. I had a great run at Vogue. I’m different; I don’t have rules. I have boundaries, but I allow creative freedom. I have no forbidden colours, though I don’t embrace colour myself. I prefer to hide and get on with the job.” What about British Vogue’s new head of editorial content, Chioma Nnadi? “She’s very competent,” he says, as icy as Wintour suddenly.

He isn’t focused on class: “I love King Charles and Queen Camilla — I went to the coronation with Katy Perry. I am happy to have them in the magazine. They care about the same things I do.”

The rise of sexism: “Women constantly need to be vigilant, and I am there for the fight. There is the manosphere, but that is not my world or reality — Andrew Tate is not my thing. But I think we must meet the young on their platforms to counter him, give them something else, more optimism. Gen Z are very interesting. They care about issues; they are curious. They need to be protected as they navigate this new online world and I want to do it with them.”

His comments about the Duchess of Sussex: That is what Enninful does so adeptly: he loves gossip, rarely falling out with celebrities in the highly fraught fashion world — the Duchess of Sussex is rumoured to be one of the few exceptions after she guest-edited the September 2019 edition of Vogue. He pauses. “Meghan and I had a great moment with the issue we did, but I feel like I have done it and I wouldn’t necessarily repeat myself.”

[From The Times]

Leaving the EIC position after six years because he felt his work was “done”?? Bizarre. Whatever happened – and we still don’t know – it feels less Game of Thrones and more like The Office, you know? Just petty office politics rather than a larger falling out. As for what he says about Meghan… curious wording from the Times and curious wording from Enninful. Earlier this year, there were some really odd stories about Enninful and Meghan falling out in 2022 because he wouldn’t give her a British Vogue cover or something. The nonsensical stories felt like they were coming from Enninful’s camp or they were happening with his approval. I strongly suspect that Enninful asked Meghan for a favor (something like, “will you appear on the cover, it would really help me out”) and she said no. I suspect that because he’s behaving like HE got jilted. Honestly, his public insistence that he doesn’t want Meghan for a cover shows that he’s a bad editor too, right? Like… why would you not want one of the most famous women in the world on the cover of your start-up magazine?

Javier Bardem says he won’t work with any company in business with Israel: “Free Palestine”

by jummy84 September 15, 2025
written by jummy84

Javier Bardem has said he “won’t work” with any company that is in business with Israel.

The actor is among a number of names in the film industry who recently signed a pledge by Film Workers For Palestine to not work with Israeli film institutions amid the conflict in Gaza.

Bardem spoke out on the Emmys red carpet last night (September 14) regarding his decision, telling Variety that he was “denouncing the genocide in Gaza”.

Referencing a recent declaration by a leading association of genocide scholars (via BBC News), the Oscar-winning actor said: “I am talking about the IAGS, the International Association of Genocide Scholars, who study thoroughly genocide and has declared it is a genocide. That’s why we ask for a commercial and diplomatic blockade and also sanctions on Israel to stop the genocide. Free Palestine.”

The star explained that as “a human being” and “a father” he “really cannot take anymore what’s going on”, before speaking about the pledge he’d signed.

“Film Workers for Palestine do not target any individuals based on identity,” he said. “The targets are those film companies and institutions that are complicit and are white-washing or justifying the genocide and its apartheid regime. We do stand with those who are helping and being supportive of the oppressed people.”

Bardem further explained why he “won’t work” with companies in business with Israel, saying: “I cannot work with somebody who justifies or supports the genocide. I can’t. It’s as simple as that. We shouldn’t be able to do that in this industry or any other industry.”

He continued: “The world has changed and what we are witnessing is a genocide in 4K, alive on a daily basis. This has to stop.”

The star also revealed how he speaks to his children about the subject, sharing: “By telling them openly what is going on. By telling them that, of course, what Hamas did on October 7th is horrible. There’s no excuse or justification for that.

“But I have serious doubts that [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu’s agenda was ever the possibility or the will to rescue any hostages. And the family of those hostages are suffering so much are every day on the streets reminding him of that.

“I’m hopeful after unfortunately so many deaths and children being murdered, the world is waking up finally to something that has to be fixed, politically fixed now.”

The recent pledge was also signed by the likes of Olivia Colman, Mark Ruffalo, Tilda Swinton, Ayo Edebiri, Riz Ahmed, Yorgos Lanthimos, Ava DuVernay and Asif Kapadia.

“In this urgent moment of crisis, where many of our governments are enabling the carnage in Gaza, we must do everything we can to address complicity in that unrelenting horror,” it says.

Bardem was nominated at last night’s Emmys for the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie award for his role in Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story. The ceremony’s big winners were The Pitt, The Studio and Adolescence.

Taylor Swift won’t be deposed, judge rules

by jummy84 September 13, 2025
written by jummy84

13 September 2025

Taylor Swift will not be deposed by Justin Baldoni’s legal team.

Taylor Swift won’t be deposed

The It Ends With Us filmmaker had called on the Karma hitmaker to sit for a legal meeting with the Karma singer as part of his ongoing legal battle with Blake Lively – who is suing him and his production company Wayferer Studios for sexual harassment and retaliation – but now the federal judge overseeing the case has declined a request to extend a deadline so that Taylor can sit for a deposition after the release of her The Life of a Showgirl album.

Judge Lewis Liman wrote in a four-page order obtained by Deadline: “The Wayfarer Parties contend that their requested extension is necessary because Swift’s preexisting professional obligations now prevent her from being deposed within the current discovery window.

“The Wayfarer Parties have not similarly demonstrated good cause for their requested extension. The only justification they have provided for the extension is their assertion that Swift’s preexisting professional obligations now prevent her from appearing for a deposition prior to October 20, 2025.

“Importantly, however, the Wayfarer Parties have provided no discussion of when they began attempting to schedule the deposition. Discovery has been ongoing in this case for approximately six months.

“The Wayfarer Parties previously requested Swift’s deposition in May 2025 before ultimately withdrawing the subpoena. They have offered no evidence that they have served a renewed subpoena on Swift. Thus, at most, the Wayfarer Parties have demonstrated that scheduling the deposition now presents logistical difficulties; that does not answer the question of why the deposition ’could not have been conducted earlier.’

“Having failed to demonstrate appropriate diligence, the requested extension is denied.”

At the same time, the judge agreed to Blake’s request for a 10-day extention on depositions for Justin and his Wayfarer Studios co-founders, Steve Sarowitz and Jamey Heath.

Taylor’s lawyer had made it clear that the 35-year-old pop megastar had not agreed to the deposition but would do so “if forced”.

Taylor Swift has not agreed to be deposed in the Justin Baldoni / Blake Lively case but will do so “if forced”.

According to PEOPLE, her lawyer Doug Baldridge of Venable LLP said she only learned of the deposition request from Baldoni’s team three days ago.

He said in a letter: “Further, my client did not agree to a deposition, but if she is forced into a deposition, we advised (after first hearing about the deposition just three days ago) that her schedule would accommodate the time required during the week of October 20 if the parties were able to work out their disputes.”

The case, Blake Lively v. Wayfarer Studios LLC, et al, is scheduled to go to trial in March 2026.

Bob Vylan announce ‘We Won’t Go Quietly’ 2025 UK tour as they hit back at “spineless” BBC chief for condemning “deeply disturbing” Glastonbury set to MPs

by jummy84 September 9, 2025
written by jummy84

Bob Vylan have announced some UK headline dates for 2025, and hit back at the BBC director-general for condemning their Glastonbury set to MPs.

The punk rap duo will hit the road for their ‘We Won’t Go Quietly’ tour this November, following a summer of controversy surrounding their slot at Worthy Farm in June.

  • READ MORE: Bob Vylan: “We’ve been screaming about these topics at the top of our lungs for years. Why has it taken this long?”

“After all the attempts to silence us, we’re about to be louder than ever. We won’t go quietly!” the band wrote when confirming the upcoming shows this morning (September 9).

Kicking off at the O2 Academy in Leeds on November 4, the trek also includes stops in Manchester, Glasgow, London, Bristol and Birmingham.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am BST this Friday (September 12) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. An O2 Priority pre-sale will begin at the same time tomorrow (Wednesday September 10).

Check out the announcement post below, along with the full schedule.

Bob Vylan’s 2025 ‘We Won’t Go Quietly’ UK tour dates are:

NOVEMBER
04 – O2 Academy, Leeds
05 – Academy, Manchester
06 – O2 Academy, Glasgow
11 – O2 Kentish Town Forum, London
20 – The Prospect Building, Bristol

DECEMBER
04 – O2 Academy, Birmingham

Bob Vylan have also called out Tim Davie, the BBC director-general, after he called the corporation’s decision to broadcast the duo’s Glastonbury 2025 set live “a very significant mistake” (via The Independent).

When facing questions from MPs on the Culture, Media and Sport Committee today, Davie branded Bob Vylan’s slot at the event “anti-Semitic” and “deeply disturbing”.

“I don’t think I misread it, I just got there [to Glastonbury] when I heard about it [at] about five o’clock,” Davie recalled. “The performance was well done by then, and at that point, I knew absolutely that it was an anti-Semitic broadcast.

“So, my decision was to get that off on demand, simple as that. I mean, it wasn’t too complicated in my mind […] I do think it was deeply disturbing.”

In response, the band labelled Davie a “spineless puppet” and denied any wrongdoing once again: “There was nothing anti-Semitic or criminal about anything I said at Glastonbury. Why do you think @metpoliceuk @ASPolice are taking so long?

As well as being dropped by their agency, Bob Vylan have had their US visas revoked and are currently under criminal investigation over the performance. The gig saw the duo voice their support for Palestine, criticise Israel, and lead the crowd in chants of “death, death to the IDF [Israel Defence Forces]”.

In July, it was reported that police were still investigating Bob Vylan’s Glastonbury set. However, it was confirmed at the time that they had dropped their inquiry into Kneecap’s performance at the festival.

“Tim Davie is doing his best to continue throwing others under the bus and cling on to power at the BBC but we see him and the institution for what they are,” Bob Vylan wrote this afternoon.

“Bought and paid for, complicit in the Gaza genocide and a leading force in the silencing of those speaking up against it.”

They went on to claim that “the reason [their Glastonbury set] wasn’t cut immediately is not because of some oversight at the BBC as they keep making out, but because there was nothing anti-Semitic about the performance”.

Davie said today that “the BBC made a very significant mistake in broadcasting” the show. “The fact that those words were broadcast to that broad audience […] frankly, it was disturbing,” he added.

Bob Vylan responded: “As a matter of fact I know there were staff at the BBC that loved the performance and saw nothing wrong with it until they were told there was something wrong with it. I also know some other bits and pieces but let me just 🤐.”

Following the broadcast, a spokesperson for the BBC said: “The team were dealing with a live situation, but with hindsight we should have pulled the stream during the performance. We regret this did not happen.”

Lorna Clarke, a Black woman, was so quickly dismissed from her duties after Glastonbury. Why? Someone had to fall and who easier to take it than a Black woman. But now he’s getting grilled and is showing just how incompetent and bought HE is.

— Bob Vylan (@BobbyVylan) September 9, 2025

They continued: “The BBC respects freedom of expression but stands firmly against incitement to violence. The anti-Semitic sentiments expressed by Bob Vylan were utterly unacceptable and have no place on our airwaves.”

Bob Vylan have also today addressed Lorna Clarke stepping down from her role as the BBC’s director of music following the backlash.

“Lorna Clarke, a Black woman, was so quickly dismissed from her duties after Glastonbury,” they wrote. “Why? Someone had to fall and who easier to take it than a Black woman. But now [Davie is] getting grilled and is showing just how incompetent and bought HE is.”

Bob Vylan have spoken out to defend their Glastonbury 2025 performance numerous times now. They’ve claimed it was vital to “teach our children to speak up for the change they want”, and reiterated that they were wanting the “dismantling of a violent military machine” – not calling for “the death of Jews or Arabs or any other race or group”.

In a statement, Glastonbury organisers said they were “appalled by the statements made from the West Holts stage by Bob Vylan”.

Shortly after the festival, the BBC said it would no longer broadcast performances it deemed “high risk”. Around the same time, Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy accused the BBC of having a “problem of leadership”.

Jimmy Kimmel Says ‘Live In Front of a Studio Audience” Won’t Return

Jimmy Kimmel is keeping “Live In Front of a Studio Audience” on a permanent pause. The series of specials, which earned raves and multiple Emmy Awards via three installments in May 2019, December 2019 and December 2021, haven’t been back since the death of icon Norman Lear in 2023. And for Kimmel, it’s probably best to keep it that way.

Kimmel was backstage at the Creative Arts Emmys on Sunday, having just won the award for game show host (via “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”) when he was asked whether he would want to do another “Live in Front of a Studio Audience.”

“It would be too emotional to do it without Norman. Lear, you know, I don’t know if my heart could take it,” he said.

Part of the draw of “Live in Front of a Studio Audience” was taking Lear’s 1970s-era sitcoms, known for mixing comedy with an honest look at the issues that people face, and noticing more than 40 years later, the subjects are still relevant. Watching modern casts perform the timeless scripts from Lear’s series was a reminder that while the world may change, the good and bad of humanity doesn’t.

The first special recreated the “All in the Family” episode “Henry’s Farewell” and “The Jeffersons” premiere “A Friend in Need.” The second special featured another “All in the Family” episode and an episode of “Good Times.” The third special combined “The Facts of Life” Season 3 episode “Kids Can Be Cruel” with the “Diff’rent Strokes” Season 1 episode “Willis’ Privacy”

This repped Kimmel’s first Primetime Emmy for game show host — but at the Daytime Emmys, in 1999, he and Ben Stein won the outstanding game show host award for “Win Ben Stein’s Money.”

“It was very surprising,” Kimmel said of that win. “When we won that Emmy, we went on the air the same week ‘South Park’ went on the air, and Comedy Central was not a channel that many people watched. And we were up against these titans, the same shows we’re up against now, ‘Wheel of Fortune’ and ‘Jeopardy.’ We didn’t know anyone was watching the show. I think it was the first Emmy Comedy Central ever won. I specifically remember being at that ceremony and seeing Susan Lucci in the front row, and she had lost 15 years in a row. It was like the big story every year. So when we won, I said something to the effect of ‘it seems ridiculous that we would win this in our first year.’ And I handed the Emmy to her, and she later gave it back. She rejected it. At the airport the next day, the lady at the TSA goes, ‘Are you the guy who gave Susan Lucci the Emmy?!’

Meanwhile, in Sunday’s acceptance speech, Kimmel gave a shout-out to original “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” host Regis Philbin.

“Regis was the best at this,” he said. “I don’t think this show would still be on the air if Regis hadn’t hosted it to start with. And he was such an unusual pick at the time. I don’t think people remember that, because it became such a big sensation, not just a hit, but like a cultural phenomenon. I don’t think people thought about the fact that Regis was a very unlikely choice as host for this show that became this big deal. Regis was very nice to me and I liked a lot. It is exciting to to have this and to know that he has this same Emmy somewhere in his family’s collection as well.”

Asked about whether he had thoughts on retiring or leaving his late night talk show. Kimmel joked, “I’m not prepared to answer their question, but it is something I think about a lot, and things have changed a lot over the last what nine years.” He went on to say, “Each day is a new adventure, and I take them as they come. Is that a good way of dodging the question?”

Kimmel was also asked about what it was like being at the forefront of defending democracy along with shows like “Saturday Night Live” and “South Park.” Said Kimmel: “Those are heavy thoughts, and I have a tendency to reject them. I don’t necessarily feel like I’m defending democracy, but I do feel like I’m giving this guy a little poke, and he deserves it, and I enjoy it.”

DEADPOOL’S DOOMSDAY Dilemma!” – Ryan Reynolds’ Character Won’t Be Joining The Avengers Team! | Glamsham.com

Rumours of Deadpool joining the Avengers reached a fever pitch after actor Ryan Reynolds shared a cryptic Instagram post last month. The doodle of a red “A” over the Avengers logo, along with chatter about a supposed feud with Robert Downey Jr.—who is set to return as the villainous Doctor Doom—had fans convinced Reynolds’ foul-mouthed anti-hero was headed to the MCU’s next big team-up film, Avengers: Doomsday.

Reynolds Responds at TIFF 2025

The speculation was finally addressed at the Toronto International Film Festival 2025, where Reynolds was promoting his documentary John Candy: I Like Me. Asked about Deadpool Easter eggs in the upcoming Avengers film, he laughed and quipped, “There’s four that I’ve got in there. Of course, I’ve written them all at home in my PJs, and nobody’s seen ’em nor have I stepped foot on set.” The actor made it clear—at least for now—that he has not filmed anything for the project.

Deadpool’s MCU Debut and Future

Deadpool officially entered the MCU in 2024 with Deadpool & Wolverine, a record-breaking success that grossed $1.3 billion worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing R-rated film ever. The film also introduced Channing Tatum as Gambit, who is confirmed to return in Avengers: Doomsday. That connection, along with Reynolds’ social media antics, has fueled theories that Deadpool could appear either in Doomsday or its follow-up, Avengers: Secret Wars (2027).

What to Expect from Avengers: Doomsday

Directed by the Russo Brothers, the Phase Six entry boasts a massive ensemble including Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Anthony Mackie (Captain America), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Letitia Wright (Black Panther), Simu Liu (Shang-Chi), Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova) and more. The film will release on December 18, 2026, with Robert Downey Jr. headlining as Doctor Doom.

For now, fans will have to wait and see if Reynolds is simply trolling—or if Deadpool really will crash the Avengers party.
