Millie Bobby Brown’s Stranger Things experience has been “wonderful”.

Millie Bobby Brown has grown up on the TV show

The 21-year-old actress has played Eleven in the Netflix series since 2016, and Millie admits that she’s developed a strong connection to her on-screen character.

She told Extra: “It’s amazing. I mean, it’s been such a wonderful journey.

“It’s been half my life … I don’t know what my life would be without the show. It’s just been it’s been so impactful to me and yeah, it’s very surreal to be here and talking about the last season, but I’m just so blessed and so grateful that I was able to be a part of it.”

Millie feels as though she’s actually grown with her character.

The actress said: “She’s just grown up with me. Like, we started this together.

“I developed her and she’s become a part of me, but not through choice. It’s almost like just it’s just inherent because I was so young and so impressionable. So, a part of her will always be a part of me. I’m very grateful for that.”

Millie also offered an insight into her character’s fortunes in the fifth and final season of Stranger Things.

The actress explained: “This season definitely pushed me.

“You know, she’s definitely a lot stronger than she’s ever been and she’s definitely more opinionated and … has a stronger point of view, which I really admire and I’m excited for audiences to see her stronger and in more of a human way and less [in] a … superhero way.”

Meanwhile, Noah Schnapp – Millie’s co-star – has teased details of season five, too.

The 21-year-old actor also revealed that he loved the experience of working with Millie.

Noah – who plays Will Byers in the Netflix show – shared: “It was such an honour to have that opportunity in the final season to showcase a different side of Will that I’d never played before. And it’s just been such a joy, and I love getting to share the screen with this pretty girl.”

“Being with Mabel, it’s an honest encounter with life.” Roadside Attractions / Lionsgate have revealed the first official trailer for a wonderful film based on a true story called H is for Hawk, adapted from the book of the same name. This premiered at the 2025 Telluride & London Film Festivals this fall, and is expected to open in theaters starting in December during the middle of the awards season. H is for Hawk follows Helen, who, after the sudden death of her father, loses herself in the memories of their time birding & exploring the natural world together and turns the ancient art of falconry—rooted in European tradition—training a wild goshawk (more info) named Mabel to navigate her profound loss. But as she teaches Mabel to hunt & fly free, Helen discovers how deeply she has neglected her own emotions and life. And that she must learn to fly, too. What begins as an act of endurance transforms into an intimate journey of resilience and healing. The film stars Claire Foy as Helen, and Brendan Gleeson as her father, along with Sam Spruell, Josh Dylan, Lindsay Duncan, and Denise Gough. This looks like a beautiful film about a very beautiful bird.

Here’s the official trailer (+ poster) for Philippa Lowthorpe’s film H is for Hawk, direct from YouTube:

Intro from the London Film Festival: “When Cambridge academic Helen’s (Claire Foy) father dies, the grief sends her spiralling into an abyss. In an effort to process her loss, she retreats from the human world to train a fearsome Northern goshawk. Foy gives an exceptional, career-best performance as Helen, while Charlotte Bruus Christensen’s cinematography & Sarah Finlay’s production design help director Philippa Lowthorpe access the gravity and emotion of this story.” H is for Hawk is directed by British filmmaker / theater director Philippa Lowthorpe, director of the films Swallows and Amazons and Misbehaviour previously, plus theater work and episodes of “The Crown”, “The Third Day”, & “Willow” most recently. The screenplay is written by Emma Donoghue and Philippa Lowthorpe. Based on the book of the same name written by Helen MacDonald. Produced by Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner. This first premiered at the 2025 Telluride Film Festival earlier this year. Roadside Attractions will release Lowthorpe’s H is for Hawk film in select US theaters this December 2025, and it also opens in January 2026 in the UK. Look good?

Stephen Colbert reacts to ‘wonderful news’ Jimmy Kimmel is returning to ABC

Stephen Colbert says the “long national late-nightmare is over” as Jimmy Kimmel is set to return.

Stephen Colbert is delighted to have Jimmy Kimmel back on air

The 61-year-old star is delighted after his friend and fellow late night host’s suspension was ended by Disney, with his show returning to ABC on Tuesday (23.09.25) evening.

Speaking on The Late Show, Colbert said: “We do, like, 160 of these a year or something, and when I have the chance, it’s always nice to start the show with some good news.

“Well, just a few hours before we taped this broadcast, we got word that our long national late-nightmare is over, because Disney announced that Jimmy Kimmel Live! will return to air on ABC tomorrow, Tuesday night.

“Come on! Wonderful news for my dear friend Jimmy and his amazing staff.”

Colbert had previously referred to the decision to take Kimmel’s show off air early last week as “blatant censorship”.

The host – whose own programme is due to end next year – had said: “Tonight, we are all Jimmy Kimmel.

“Yesterday, after threats from Trump’s FCC Chair, ABC yanked Kimmel off the air indefinitely. That is blatant censorship.

“It always starts small. Remember, in week one of his presidency, call it Gulf of America. Sure, seems harmless, but with an autocrat, you cannot give an inch.

“If ABC thinks that this is going to satisfy the regime, they are woefully naïve.”

Jimmy Kimmel Live! was put on “indefinite” pause last week following comments the host had made about the killing of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, prompting a backlash and allegations of freedom of speech being suppressed.

On Monday (22.09.25), the Walt Disney Company confirmed the programme would return to the airwaves.

They said in a statement: “Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country. It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive.

“We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.”
