Snooker Shoot Out order of play | Wednesday 10th December 2025

by jummy84 December 9, 2025
written by jummy84

Reigning champion Tom Ford begins his Snooker Shoot Out title defence on the opening day of the fast-paced tournament.

A randomised draw, single-frame matches with a 10-minute limit, and a 10/15-second shot clock are among the rule changes that make the format an exciting switch from the norm.

Action moves fast at the three-day ranking tournament, which is back at the Tower Circus in Blackpool after a decade away from the venue.

Ford takes on Martin O’Donnell in the afternoon session, while Masters champion Shaun Murphy, whose 147 in this format in 2023 was truly special, is the highest-ranked player on the table in the evening.

It may not have the history or esteem of the Triple Crown events, but even Snooker purists can’t deny that the shortened format throws up plenty of drama.

RadioTimes.com brings you the daily order of play and full schedule for Snooker Shoot Out 2025.

We’re keeping this page updated with all the latest times and coverage details throughout the course of the tournament.

Sheffield Wednesday v Norwich City Championship TV channel, live stream, kick-off time

by jummy84 November 5, 2025
written by jummy84

A sell-out is expected at Hillsborough on Wednesday evening as the Championship’s two bottom clubs – Sheffield Wednesday and Norwich City – face off.

The midweek clash is the Owls’ first home game since the club’s administration took control out of the hands of problematic owner Dejphon Chansiri and fans have responded to calls to get the ground bouncing.

Wednesday earned a hard-fought draw away at West Brom on Saturday, snapping their losing streak at four games, and will view Norwich’s visit as a chance to claim their second Championship win of the season.

The Canaries have lost six on the bounce to drop to 23rd in the table as the dismal start to Liam Manning’s tenure has continued.

Manning appears to retain the support of the club chiefs but that could change if their struggles coninue in the Steel City.

RadioTimes.com has rounded up everything you need to know about how to watch Sheffield Wednesday v Norwich City on TV and online.

Wednesday are celebrating the release of their new album, Bleeds, with the music video for “Townies.” The video, produced and directed by Lance Bangs, opens with bandleader Karly Hartzman handing out flyers for a Wednesday concert, and it culminates with that backyard show. Watch the clip below.

Bleeds is Wednesday’s follow-up to Rat Saw God. The band previewed the album with “Elderberry Wine,” “Wound Up Here (By Holdin On),” “Pick Up That Knife,” and “Bitter Everyday.”

“Townies” is Lance Bangs’ first visual for Wednesday, but he previously made the video for MJ Lenderman’s Manning Fireworks favorite “Wristwatch.” He also produced and directed the video for Horse Jumper of Love’s “Snow Angel,” a track that features vocals from Lenderman and Squirrel Flower’s Ella Williams.

For Icelandophiles who semi-learned the words to Sigur Rós and Sin Fang records back in the day, the wait for Múm’s return has been long enough. History of Silence, Múm’s first album in 12 years, nestles into the fibers of their longtime sound: whispered lyrics, gauzy strings, melodica, and percussive ambiance. Although their seventh studio album and follow-up to 2013’s Smilewound’s gets its name from dead air, Múm are lively and present throughout, be it the shimmering sounds of “Kill the Light” or the vividness of “Mild at Heart.” Recorded, deconstructed, reassembled, and refined over two years, History of Silence is a humble comeback that savors every second.

Kitba: Hold the Edges [Ruination]

Kitba makes bedroom-pop music that harks back to a time before “bedroom-pop” was really a thing. On Hold the Edges, the Brooklyn-based harpist and singer-songwriter, otherwise known as Rebecca El-Saleh, composes hall-of-mirrors synth ballads with the sumptuous textures and sing-songy quality of Frou Frou, their vocals, often Auto-Tuned, a nervy mix of the shellshocked and declarative. The mazy single “Soften,” one of many breakup songs on the LP, is about “being angry long after you feel you should be, wondering when your hardened heart will soften,” they said in press materials. “It’s twisting inside and chaos, vibratingly bright and tense.”

‘Wednesday’ Creators Break Down Thing’s Backstory In Season 2

by jummy84 September 5, 2025
written by jummy84

SPOILER ALERT: The following reveals major plot points from the Season 2 finale of Netflix‘s Wednesday.

Wednesday creators expanded the lore for one beloved member of the family, some might say the right hand, in Season 2.

Thing, portrayed by Victor Dorobantu, has been a key fixture of the series and an integral part of the Addams family from the start. Season 1 viewers understood the depths of the family’s trust in Thing when patriarch Gomez Addams (Luiz Guzmán) entrusted the appendage with looking out for his only daughter, Wednesday (Jenna Ortega), during her first semester at Nevermore Academy. He did such a good job protecting the show’s protagonist that Alfred Gough and Miles Millar honored Thing in Season 2 with a magical backstory.

“There wasn’t a Thing origin story. What’s great for us with the Addams family is that there really isn’t any mythology or lore to them, other than the TV show, which is where they first got their names. And, of course, there’s the Charles Addams panels, but they didn’t have names in those. It was just called the Addams Family,” Gough explained during a chat with Deadline this week. “For us, it’s a great blank canvas to really delve into these characters and figure things out. People always ask us, ‘Where’s Thing from?’ and ‘Are you ever going to tell Thing’s origin story?’”

Millar added, “It felt like a natural idea and MacGuffin for a season. It was interesting following some of the comments. We thought it was pretty obvious from the very first moment that [Isaac/Slurp] appears, you see the hand come out of the dirt. You think that would be the big clue that gives it away. But I think many people hopefully didn’t see it and were surprised by that ending, and then exclaimed, ‘Oh my God! It was right in front of our faces the whole time.’”

In the finale, viewers learn that Thing is actually the disembodied right hand of Davinci student Isaac Night (Owen Painter), also known as Slurp the Zombie, named by Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez), who accidentally revived him from beneath the Skull Tree in the woods.

“Here’s one I just literally caught this morning because I turned it on. I was watching the last episode, and in the title sequence, Thing comes out of the tree,” Gough noted.

“Originally in the title sequence, we had the end with the arm coming up out of the ground. And I said, ‘No,’ because it felt so obvious. If you’re watching the show and that’s the first episode and you see, you’re going to think, ‘Oh, it’s Thing,’” Millar added. “So we changed it to Thing coming out of the tree. From the beginning, it’s all there and planted, literally, if you’re looking for it.”

In the finale, Thing’s story begins to unfold when he throws himself into danger to protect Wednesday, yet again. Wednesday was being restrained by Isaac, the first part of his plan before burying her alive. Thing makes a valiant effort to outwit Isaac, who he attempted to kill with a crossbow. Unfortunately, Isaac was ready for him, and Thing was then also captured. It is in this moment that Isaac grabs hold of Thing, showing how they were connected before Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) separated them with a knife.

After sewing the appendage back onto his wrist, the Davinci takes Pugsley to fuel his crazy machine, which he plans to use to extract his sister Françoise’s Hyde ability for good. As Wednesday and her parents come to the rescue, Morticia reveals the reason she cut Thing from Isaac was because he tried the same thing with Gomez years ago. Morticia tells Thing she knows he’s still in there despite being reattached to Isaac. After Wednesday disables the machine with an axe, Isaac’s ability no longer works, and Thing attacks him.

“That’s really the emotional heart of the show, and that’s the emotional climax of the season. That’s the moment when Thing obviously separates and stumbles back to the family, his real family, and takes ownership of that,” Millar said. “It felt like that was really a moment we were driving to all season. Tim [Burton] directed it so beautifully, and it really does — we think — pack an emotional punch when you see that. It’s very bizarre, because it’s a disembodied hand and it should be moving, and I think it is.”

“It was one of the questions that came up in the writers’ room when we talked about how, in a world of outcasts, does Gomez fit into this? Why did he go to Nevermore? It led to the idea of, What if he did have powers and they were taken away from him? “And then it all combined into this moment in the climax, which we see in flashback,” Millar remarked.

He added, “The loss of his powers was interconnected with Isaac Knight and Thing’s origin story. That was the sacrifice that resulted in the confrontation with Isaac. It was in this moment that Gomez lost his power, and yet, even though he was not officially an outcast or possessed an outcast ability, Morticia’s love remained undiminished. She would never judge him less because he lost his electrical ability. That was something that speaks to their relationship, their devotion to each other, and also answers the question that an audience might ask. ‘Why is he an outcast?’ We wanted to answer that question.”

‘Wednesday’ season two ending explained: does Wednesday save Enid?

by jummy84 September 4, 2025
written by jummy84

**Warning: Spoilers Ahead**

Wednesday season two is now streaming in full on Netflix, but does Wednesday manage to save Enid by the end? Find out below.

The first season of the show centred on the goth teen at the heart of the Addams Family and proved to be a huge hit for Netflix, becoming the streamer’s biggest English-language series of all time.

The first half of the second season arrived in August, and now part two is here, as of September 3. Jenna Ortega returns in the title role, while half of the new episodes have been directed by Tim Burton.

It includes a memorable cameo performance from Lady Gaga as Rosaline Rotwood, and her appearance has coincided with the release of Gaga’s new single ‘The Dead Dance’, with a Burton-directed video.

In a four-star review of the first part of season two, NME wrote: “A frantic mid-season finale sets things up for an explosive return in September, which will also see the arrival of Lady Gaga’s Rosaline Rotwood. Perhaps that next batch of episodes will take the beloved series to new places after part one sticks carefully to the familiar, if successful, formula.”

One character who has not returned for the new season is Xavier, who had been set up as Wednesday’s potential love interest. He was written out after actor Percy Hynes White was the subject of sexual misconduct allegations, which he has denied.

A third season has already been commissioned, with showrunners Alfred Gough and Miles Millar also now working on a spinoff series.

Wednesday season two ending explained: does Wednesday save Enid?

In the opening episode of season two, Wednesday has a vision of Enid’s tombstone in a crow-infested graveyard. The prophecy haunts her, and when her encounter with Gaga’s Rotwood sees Wednesday body-swapped with Enid in a Freaky Friday style, Wednesday realises that Enid is not only a werewolf, but an Alpha, meaning that she may end up stuck in wolf form permanently.

Billie Piper’s Ms. Capri attempts to help Enid control her powers, but towards the end of the season, when Wednesday is in trouble, Enid voluntarily changes to gain enough strength to save her. Knowing that she is now stuck, she flees Nevermore to be alone, in an effort to protect those around her.

Having been saved by Enid, Wednesday successfully reunites with the Addams family, with Thing turning on Isaac as Isaac attacked Wednesday, pulling out his clockwork heart and killing him.

Wednesday leads to Addams family on a new mission to track down Enid, who they believe is trapped in Alpha wolf form and heading for the Canadian border. With help from Thing and Uncle Fester, as well as Aunt Ophelia’s diary, they hope to be able to restore Enid to human form again. However, the end of the season leaves viewers on a cliffhanger, setting up the conclusion to Enid’s plight as a hook for the third season.

Who Is Francoise Galpin in ‘Wednesday’ Season 2? Meet Tyler’s Mother – Hollywood Life

Season 2 of Wednesday introduced us to brand-new characters, and some of them tell Tyler Galpin’s (Hunter Doohan) backstory. During part 2 of the second season, viewers learned that Tyler’s mom, Francoise Galpin, was at Willow Hill. Below, Hollywood Life has compiled all the details we know about Francoise, her life and her family.

(Warning: spoilers are ahead for all of season 2 of Wednesday)

Is Wednesday Getting a Season 3?

Yes! Our favorite creepy and kooky and mysterious and spooky character is coming back for a third round, Netflix confirmed earlier this year. Season 2 ended with Wednesday’s best friend and roomie, Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers), transforming into an alpha werewolf, which forces her to flee Nevermore and live a life of solitude. So, what does this mean for season 3?

Miles Millar, co-showrunner and co-creator of Wednesday, told Netflix’s Tudum that fans “should be very worried for Enid” now that we know her fate. “We’re certainly worried for Enid,” Miles added.

“It’s a big deal for Enid and getting out of this is going to be difficult,” Miles continued. “Female friendship and sisterhood is the heart and soul of the show. Wednesday and Enid had some ups and downs this season, but that moment of pure sacrifice is a really great climactic moment for Enid’s arc this season.”

As for Emma, the actress said her character “is going to be stuck as a werewolf, having some crazy adventures up in Canada. But she’s going on a journey to find how to turn back into a human.”

“Wolf-Enid probably expects Wednesday to come find and help her — or, at least, I imagine she hopes for it,” Emma added.

As for Tyler, Wednesday’s former love interest, he becomes a complicated ally, dare we say, at the end of season 2.

Who Is Francoise Galpin in Wednesday?

Francoise Galpin is Tyler’s mom. That’s right — she’s isn’t dead, like he thought, and she’s a Hyde just like her son. Francoise is also the former wife of Sheriff Donovan Galpin. A former normie, Francoise was institutionalized at Willow Hill after giving birth to Tyler after her postpartum depression unearthed her Hyde nature.

Morticia strikes a deal with Francoise to spare Wednesday and keep Tyler away from Jericho, and the mother and son have a touching moment before viewers see her cough up blood — and indication that she’s withering away without a master. Hydes need a master to survive, but females can live without one for a while; males, however, can’t.

Francoise temporarily serves as Tyler’s master to ensure he survives, but how long can that last?

Who Is Isaac Night in Wednesday?

Isaac — a.k.a Slurp the zombie — is Francoise’s brother and Tyler’s uncle. Slurp escapes from Willow Hill just like the Galpin family did and eats multiple victims’ brains in his path. Over time, Slurp morphs back into human form, revealing his mortal self, Isaac, whose story traces back to Nevermore Academy.

It turns out that Isaac was the roommate of Wednesday’s father, Gomez, while they attended Nevermore. While there, Isaac tried to save Francoise with a machine from being a Hyde, since it’s practically a death sentence, and he needed Gomez’s help. However, the machine would result in Gomez’s death, which Morticia prevented. The machine broke down and killed Isaac, so Gomez and Morticia buried him in the cemetery until their son, Pugsley, (Wednesday’s brother) resurrected him as the zombie, Slurp.

Wednesday Season 2 Ending Explained: Thing’s Dark Past, Slurp’s True Identity & A Family Betrayal

by jummy84 September 3, 2025
written by jummy84

Major spoilers ahead!

Wednesday Season 2 Part 2 has finally dropped, bringing an intense conclusion to the story. While fans are not mighty impressed with the second part, the season did manage to tie a lot of loose ends, revealing shocking family secrets and opening up several questions for a possible third season. From an unexpected body swap that saw Wednesday wear pink and dance on BLACKPINK’s song to Thing’s backstory, the finale was packed with drama and revelations. Here’s a breakdown of what went down.

Wednesday Season 2’s final chapter picked up with our favourite goth girl waking from her coma. She is met by the deceased Principal Larissa Weems, who returns as her guardian spirit. Meanwhile, most of the outcast patients who escaped Willow Hill are hunted down, leaving only three survivors – Uncle Fester, Pugsley’s resurrected zombie friend Slurp and a female patient whom Wednesday rescued.

To refresh everyone’s memories, former Nevermore teacher Augustus Stonehearst was a chief physician at Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital, who launched a program to transfer the supernatural abilities of Outcasts to normies and faked the death of a lot of Outcasts for his experiment. This plot point forms a major part of the narrative.

Lady Gaga’s Debut and Body Swap

Wednesday continues to be haunted by visions of Enid’s death. Without her psychic powers, she feels helpless. Her grandmama Hester tells her that the late Nevermore professor Rosaline Rotwood may hold the key. Wednesday reads the inscription on her grave to temporarily regain second sight and the ritual summons Rotwood’s spirit, played by the iconic Lady Gaga. However, the ritual does not go as planned. When Wednesday’s friend Enid Sinclair interrupts her attempt, the ritual misfires, leading to an epic body swap. We get to see several comical moments, including Enid in Wednesday’s body wearing colourful dresses and dancing to BLACKPINK before the spell is reversed.

Wednesday

Enid’s Alpha Werewolf Phase

Enid learns that she is an Alpha werewolf. While Alphas can shift outside the full moon, it comes with a risk. Once they transform into a werewolf on a full moon night, they might not be able to come back to their human form.

Wednesday’s pursuit of truth brings her face-to-face with grim secrets. It is revealed that Pugsley’s pet zombie Slurp is a former Nevermore student, Isaac Night, who was once Gomez Addams’ roommate. He once built an outcast-reversal device to cure his sister Francoise’s Hyde condition. The device later falls into the hands of Augustus Stonehurst, who uses it for his experiment on outcasts. It is also revealed that Francoise is actually the patient that Wednesday had rescued from Willow Hill. Oh, and she also happens to be Tyler’s (Wednesday’s biggest adversary) mother!

Wednesday

Secrets of the Addams

Through her visions and flashbacks, Wednesday learns that Gomez and Isaac were once close friends during their time at the Nevermore Academy. Young Isaac requested Gomez to use his electrical powers to help cure Francoise. However, Isaac wanted to steal his power and didn’t mind almost killing him in the process. Morticia finds out and destroys Isaac’s machine and killing him in an explosion that follows. They bury Isaac beneath the Skull Tree and keep mum about the incident under pressure from Stonehurst. She also severed Isaac’s right hand, which gave birth to Thing!

I didn’t watch Part 2 yet but are you freaking telling me that the Thing was Slurp’s hand??? And Slurp is gonna be a love interest for Wednesday in Season 3?? WHAT pic.twitter.com/hAGcASVOJC

Isaac’s Plan and Enid Wolving Out
Now united with Francoise and Tyler, Isaac once again tries to cure his sister of her Hyde condition and abducts Wednesday’s brother, Pugsley, for it. But Francoise wants her son, Tyler, cured instead of her. Following hints, Wednesday reached the Skull Tree to confront Isaac and stop his experiment. He overpowers Wednesday with Tyler’s help and buries her alive. Enid, who had been confined in the Lupin cages to prevent herself from wolfing out, runs to Wednesday’s help and transforms herself into a wolf, knowing well that she cannot turn back. The finale ends with her running into the woods. Later, towards the end, Wednesday is seen reuniting with Uncle Fester to look for Enid, as per her promise to her friend.

Wednesday

With the help of her friends and allies, Wednesday succeeds in stopping Isaac and also frees Tyler, instead of killing him. Tyler and his mother, who are now both in their Hyde forms, battle it out. In an attempt to stop Tyler, Francoise falls to her death, leaving him alone once again. Thing, on the other hand, shows where his loyalties lie and rips Isaac’s clockwork heart from his chest, killing him. He then detaches himself from Isaac’s body and returns to the Addams family.

After Francoise’s death, Nevermore Academy’s music teacher, Isadora Capri, offers to help Tyler as she is setting up a support system for Hydes. She reveals that her father was also a Hyde, and she wants to create a community for Hydes where they will not need any masters to control them.

While it seemed that Wednesday was able to save Nevermore, her friends, her family and herself, the last scene delivered the final chill. Her aunt Ophelia, who was mentioned several times in the second season, was finally shown in a glimpse. Wednesday’s grandmother, Hester, actually had Ophelia in captivity all along. We see her sitting in a room with “Wednesday must die” written clearly on the wall, setting the stage for darker events and more complicated Addams Family secrets.

Part 2 of the second season gave Tyler his redemption arc, revealed Thing’s origins and unveiled more Nevermore secrets, but it also left us wondering about Enid’s fate, Aunt Ophelia’s true intentions and Nevermore’s future.

Does Enid Die in ‘Wednesday’ Season 2? Updates & Spoilers on Her Fate – Hollywood Life

Woe is us after watching the explosive second season of Wednesday. Part 1 revealed one character’s imminent death: Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers). Meanwhile, Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) must race against time to save her best friend and roommate “or die trying.” But is it true — does Enid actually die in part 2 of the series?

Below, Hollywood Life has the answers from the second season of Wednesday. (Warning: spoilers are ahead on Wednesday season 2 part 2)

How to Watch Wednesday Season 2 Episodes

All episodes of Wednesday are streaming on Netflix.

Season 2 of Wednesday premiered in two parts on Netflix. The first four episodes (part 1) dropped on August 6, 2025, followed by the remaining four episodes (part 2) on September 3, 2025. This eight-episode season continues the show’s signature pun-filled tone, beginning with “Here We Woe Again” and continuing with “The Devil You Woe,” “Call of the Woe,” and “If These Woes Could Talk.”

Does Enid Sinclair Die in Wednesday Season 2?

Apparently, Enid might die in season 2 of Wednesday, according to a psychic vision that Wednesday has. As seen in part 1 of season 2, Wednesday envisions Enid’s grave, which reads, “In memory of Enid Sinclair,” then a deceased Enid appears to grab Wednesday’s throat and yell, “I died because of you!”

But fear not, woeful fans! Wednesday successfully stops that vision she had of a dead Enid blaming her, but it comes with a cost.

Wednesday discovers that Enid is an alpha werewolf, which means that she will be alone and be stuck in her wolf form forever. While saving Wednesday from a deadly burial, Enid changes into a wolf for strength. She’s then forced to leave Nevermore to avoid harming anyone.

While speaking with Netflix’s Tudum about her character’s future and season 3, Emma said, “Enid is going to be stuck as a werewolf, having some crazy adventures up in Canada. But she’s going on a journey to find how to turn back into a human. Wolf-Enid probably expects Wednesday to come find and help her — or, at least, I imagine she hopes for it.”

Is Enid Leaving Wednesday After Season 2?

It doesn’t sound like Emma is leaving Wednesday after season 2. While speaking with Tudum, she teased that Enid is on a “journey” to figure out how to become human again.

Creatives behind Wednesday, including director and producer Tim Burton, gushed to Variety in April 2025 about Emma. Collectively, they pointed out that Emma is game to try anything new on set and is easy to work with.

“She just surprises you all the time,” Tim told the outlet about Emma. “I didn’t really learn till this season that she could dance so well. She’s not overly demonstrative as a person, so she just kept surprising me, just with her level of humor and her ability to be chromatic and humorous. I like a mixture of people that can do comedy and be emotional at the same time — and she’s got all of those elements.”

As for Emma, she teased that her character, Enid, has “changed over the summer” and is “grown, and she’s become more comfortable with herself.”
