Dear Dharmendra Sir, Fight Hard & Let Us All Feel Ashamed That We Waited For Someone’s Passing, Instead Of Praying For His Recovery! [Opinion]

Dear Dharmendra Sir, Fight Hard & Let Us All Feel Ashamed For How We Have Treated You![Opinion]
We All Should Render A Collective Apology To Dharmendra Sir & His Family! (Photo Credit – Instagram)

The media is a hard place to be. You live under a constant pressure of breaking the news. We did it first, we often claim! But there are times when we need to sit down and question our conscience. How far have we come, and how insensitive we are! For the past few days, I have seen the mockery of the life of one of the most celebrated superstars of this country – Dharmendra!

A senior, reputed anchor, offering condolences to his family, a senior artist from the music fraternity singing songs to offer tribute, some reputed members of the fraternity putting up Rest In Peace messages, and all of this while the man we love was struggling and fighting hard, putting up the toughest fight he could, to breathe, to live!

Honestly, I was numb! I was speechless at this eagerness to talk about someone in the past tense, not bothering to know if he struggles. But here’s what surprised me the most – We as human beings were waiting for the news of someone’s death! Like really? How dead should our morals be to wait for the confirmation of someone’s passing away! What was needed was prayers for Dharmendra Sir’s recovery! All he needs is his fans praying for his well-being!

Superstars shower immense love on their fans. They never shy away from crediting their stardom to their fans. But here we are, the so-called fans who waited for a death confirmation, rather than celebrating his will to fight and survive! Honestly, all this added trauma to his family in such a distressing time could have been eased with an apology!

But we turned this into a further circus outside his home and pushed it to a point where Sunny Deol lost his cool at the media! I wonder how they must feel when they see their stressed video from the hospital room, which is being shamelessly circulated, without anyone’s consent, because, yes, a superstar’s life is for public display! Why bother!

While I was numb at all that happened in the past few days, one of my friends pointed out, if someone would have told me that my parents are no more while they are alive, I don’t know, what would I have done to that person, and that hit me so hard! Imagine, the distress we have been causing to someone’s family who is just praying for their father, grandfather, husband, brother, to get well soon, just fight and just live!

Dear Dharmendra Sir,

I know, no apology or sorry can undo what we have done to you and your family in the last few days! But, Sir, you keep fighting to recover and live a healthy life till you can! You fight, Sir, and get well soon, and slap us hard with that fighting spirit so that we can feel ashamed not as professionals but as human beings.

We are a bunch of gossip mongers feeding on stardom and as fans we are a spineless bunch! Once you recover, we will be the same hypocrites who would cheer loudly and praise your fighting spirit. But you fight hard to make us feel ashamed for the basic decency we’ve lost as human beings! We have become so inert, so morally bankrupt, that we wait not for someone’s revival, but for their death. Make us feel ashamed for turning into an obtuse race that now waits for the news of someone’s passing away, rather than waiting for the news of their recovery!

Sorry will never be enough!

Does Kevin Jonas Sing? Why He Waited This Long to Perform a Solo – Hollywood Life

Kevin Jonas (real name: Paul Kevin Jonas II) has always been the Jonas Brothers’ humble and fan-favorite guitarist, girl dad and eldest brother of the band, which also consists of Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas. Since the beginning of their career, Kevin has provided backup vocals for his brothers, but he never sang a solo live on stage — until now. During an August 23, 2025, Jonas20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour show at Boston’s Fenway Park, Kevin proved that he can definitely sing. So, why has he held back for so long?

Hollywood Life has gathered all the info we know about Kevin’s vocal abilities and his recent solo below.

Can Kevin Jonas Sing?

Yes! For years, fans have been saying that Kevin could sing even though they hadn’t actually heard him belt out a few notes by himself on a stage.

The “Lovebug” artist proved his skills when he modestly walked downstage to take the microphone. Years prior, Kevin showed off his voice in the song “Scandinavia” for his and his brothers’ Disney Channel series, JONAS.

Why Doesn’t Kevin Jonas Sing Solo More Often?

During the brothers’ August 23, 2025, Boston concert, Kevin confirmed the reason why he hadn’t sung live before — because it made him “nervous.” After Nick stepped away to let Kevin take the microphone, the older brother said, “I’m super nervous, so bear with me,” then he showed off his vocal range while singing “Changing.”

Did Kevin Jonas Ever Sing Solo Before 2025?

Kevin hadn’t sung live at a concert before the August 2025 Boston show during the Jonas20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour. As loyal fans already know, he sings backup vocals while Nick and Joe usually take the lead.

Could Kevin Jonas Release a Solo Album?

Kevin has not confirmed a solo album separate from the Jonas Brothers, but fans are calling for one. It wouldn’t a stretch for the “Sucker” guitarist to create and release his own since both Nick and Joe have explored different music styles in the past — with Joe collaborating with DNCE and Nick flying solo after the Jonas Brothers went on hiatus.

I Waited a Year for H&M’s Designer-Passing Boots to be Restocked

As someone who knows the woes of the unpredictable UK weather, I would never, ever wish the summer season away. However, every so often, a purchase comes along that has me wishing for the colder weather, with endless styling possibilities running through my head. And this was exactly the situation I found myself in last year, after I spotted a specific high-street find that could easily be mistaken for designer. Enter H&M’s pointed-toe knee-high boots (£55).

The black will go with everything.

This chocolate brown pair is also

Featuring a narrow kitten heel, sleek point toe, and a knee-high silhouette, the intentional details on these boots make them look way more expensive than their high-street price tag. I initially spotted them on a number of my fellow Who What Wear UK editors and immediately added them to my wishlist online. But these expensive-looking boots unsurprisingly sold out before the end of the season. This year, however, I’m not making the same mistake of waiting too long. I added these to my basket as soon as I saw that they were back in stock.

And I’m not the only one. Deputy Editor, Maxine Eggenberger, also put these in her basket as soon as she saw them online, saying, “Expensive shoes are wasted on me—my mum has been telling me I’m too hard on my feet for the past three decades, and I have to agree with her. I just know if I were to step out in a pair of Miu Miu slingbacks, it would be a matter of minutes before I stubbed my toe on a curb. As such, I’ve become something of an expert at finding expensive-looking shoes on the high street. The key is to look for sleek, timeless designs, and nothing fits this bill quite like H&M’s knee boots. This is a style the brand rereleases each year, and every time they do, they sell out fast.

However, I think they’ve perfected the secret sauce for 2025. With the perfect heel height, the just the right amount of pointed toe, and a sleek, wide-calf finish, these would look at home in any luxury department store alongside brands like The Row and Toteme. Yes, they’re faux leather, but the matte finish stops them from looking any way plastic-y. I ordered the black as soon as I saw them, knowing they never stick around for long, but I’m also interested in the brown, too. Brown is a hard colour to get right on the high street, but this bitter shade looks far more premium than its price tag. H&M really has done its homework here.”

Although we’re currently in the middle of summer here in London, I already have so many ideas in my head of how I’m going to style my boots when they arrive. And with temperatures already dropping slightly, I have no doubt that I’ll be wearing them sooner rather than later. Keep scrolling to see the three ways that I’m planning to style these boots for autumn and beyond.

How to Style H&M’s Pointed-Toe Knee-High Boots

1. White Shirt + Baggy Jeans + Animal-Print Belt

Style Notes: It doesn’t get more classic than a white button-up shirt and jeans. I’d personally opt for a slouchier pair that will drape nicely over the boots and then use some tonal accessories to add some interest.
