The debate over whether Jacquees is really like that when it comes to singing started when Cam Newton asked Mario about his thoughts on male singers who can really sing. Several fellas were mentioned, including Bryson Tiller, Trey Songz, The Weeknd, Bobby Valentino, Omarion, and Chris Brown. But when Jacquees’ name was mentioned, Mario said he thinks he can sing, but he questioned if Jacquees can really “sang.” Cam, on the other hand, said he thinks Jacquees’ vocals are just “eh.” Well, Jacquees appeared to peep the shade and hopped on X (formerly Twitter), telling both Mario and Cam to fall back off him when he stays out the mix.
