Robyn Returns With New Song and Video “Dopamine”: Watch

by jummy84 November 12, 2025
written by jummy84

Robyn is back. Her first single in seven years, “Dopamine,” is out now, along with a performance video directed by Marili Andre. Watch it below.

Robyn explained the chemical inspirations behind “Dopamine” in a press release. “Everyone has a phone where they see their heart rate, and we’re learning how to decode our emotions through the hormones and chemical substances in our bodies,” she said. “It’s almost like we don’t even accept that we’re human anymore, like we’re trying to shoot ourselves out of it and explain every single thing—which I think is great, but that’s also why the world is shit, this idea that you can figure out and win life or something. The doubleness of ‘Dopamine’ is having an emotion that is super real, super strong, intense, enjoyable or painful, and at the same time knowing that this is just a biological process in my body—and then not to choose religion or science. To just accept that they’re there together and to be able to go in between.”

Teased for the past several weeks, Robyn’s comeback reunites her with longtime collaborator Klas Åhlund, whose work with the Swedish pop star includes four songs on her last album, 2018’s Honey. Åhlund was the first to tease the new music, saying on the podcast Nordmark Pod, in September, “Just finished a new Robyn album that’s coming out. Super exciting! Very proud of it.”

Since Honey, Robyn has featured on songs by SG Lewis, Sigur Rós’ Jónsi, Smile, Neneh Cherry, and Jamie xx, as well as on the Yung Lean–assisted remix of Charli XCX’s “360” from Brat and It’s Completely Different but Also Still Brat.

Dry Cleaning Share Video for New Song “Cruise Ship Designer”: Watch

Dry Cleaning have shared the second single from Secret Love, their upcoming album due out January 9 via 4AD. The London post-punk band returns with “Cruise Ship Designer” and its accompanying music video, directed by Cuán Roche. In the clip, bassist Lewis Maynard performs a dance routine—specifically choreographed for the song by Bullyache—in sparkly leggings in front of a dark curtain. Watch the new video below.

Singer Florence Shaw explained the backstory of their track in a statement: “The song is about a cruise ship and hotel designer who’s skilled and paid well, but who doesn’t believe his role has real worth,” she said. “He tries to enjoy it, and invests himself in meeting the challenges of the job.”

Secret Love is Dry Cleaning’s third studio album, following 2023’s Stumpwork. They worked on the 11-track LP at Jeff Tweedy’s Chicago studio, the Loft; at Dublin’s Sonic Studios with Gilla Band’s Alan Duggan and Daniel Fox; and eventually at France’s remote Black Box where Le Bon recorded their album.

Dry Cleaning wrapped up their recent tour, but they still have plenty of live shows on the books for next year, beginning with Rockaway Beach Festival in England on January 3. From there, Dry Cleaning’s 2026 tour heads to the United States, Canada, and many major cities in Europe.

Daft Punk share epic new ‘Fortnite’-inspired video for ‘Contact’

by jummy84 November 11, 2025
written by jummy84

Daft Punk have shared a new official video for ‘Contact’, inspired by Fortnite. Check it out below.

The song is the closing number of the French electronic duo’s fourth and final studio album, ‘Random Access Memories’, which was released in 2013 ahead of their split in 2021.

‘Contact’ now soundtracks some cinematic, sci-fi-themed visuals, following the launch of  ‘The Daft Punk Experience’ on Fortnite in September.

The clip was created by Fortnite developer/publisher Epic Games and Magnopus, and begins with Daft Punk floating in space above the Earth. ‘Contact’ opens with an audio snippet from the Apollo 17 mission in 1972, used courtesy of NASA and Capt. Eugene Cernan.

From there, the epic new video sees the iconic robots on a dizzying, extraterrestrial mission as they speed through space towards a flashing signal. Watch it all unfold here:

Polygon reports that studio Magnopus consulted Daft Life – the company that acts on behalf of Daft Punk – to produce the music video, and ensure that it aligned with their “creative vision”.

Magnopus explained: “‘The Daft Punk Experience’ is a sonic and visual voyage through the minds of one of the most iconic and inspiring acts of the last 30 years. We brought it to life with multiple themed rooms, where players could remix music, battle robots, create a LEGO music video, and dance ‘til dawn.

“Building on that world, we took the opening sequence from the game and transformed it into a new music video for ‘Contact’ – the final track from Daft Punk’s final album, ‘Random Access Memories’.

‘The Daft Punk Experience’ provides an immersive world that allows Fortnite players to explore 31 songs from across the group’s catalogue, while there will also be custom outfits, all-night dance parties and opportunities to remix and mashup Daft Punk songs.

Additionally, there are custom outfits, all-night dance parties and opportunities to remix and mashup tracks by Daft Punk through the game. There is also a virtual concert, featuring moments from their celebrated ‘Alive 2007’ live album.

Following its release, Daft Punk fans praised the new experience for Fortnite, with some calling it “absolutely incredible”.

In early 2024, a former session drummer for Daft Punk confirmed the existence of a lost album, claiming that “it’s coming out [of] the locker”.

Does Kylie Jenner own a 28-carat $2.5M diamond ring? New viral video sparks buzz

A viral video of Kylie Jenner flashing a giant 28-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond at Kris Jenner’s birthday has fans digging for the truth.

A new video of Kylie Jenner playing poker at her mom Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday bash has left her fans guessing. The short clip, which she posted on her Instagram Stories, has been going viral. It shows the beauty mogul shuffling cards – but all anyone can talk about is the massive emerald-cut ring glistening on her finger. The lighting, the close-up, the angles – it all seemed intentional. And just like that, the internet began guessing if Kylie had spent millions on that piece of jewellery.

Kylie Jenner’s recent poker video at Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday has fans speculating about a massive emerald-cut ring on her finger(Instagram/kyliejenner)

According to a TikTok user, the ring fans noticed looks almost identical to the one she wore back in February when she attended Timothée Chalamet’s Santa Barbara Film Festival appearance. At the time, Kylie had tagged Lorraine Schwartz, the celebrity jeweller famous for crafting multi-million-dollar diamonds for Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian.

Was Kylie’s ring borrowed or bought?

TikTok creator, Julia Chafe, decided to go beyond fan theories and break down the evidence. In her viral post titled ‘Does Kylie Jenner own this 28-carat diamond?’, the influencer said, “Kylie Jenner posted her playing a game that is not Go Fish at her mom Kris’s 70th birthday party. The entire point of this video was obviously to showcase her gigantic diamond, but here is where it gets interesting.”

She went on to note that the same ring – allegedly a 28-carat, VVS1 emerald-cut diamond – was first spotted on Kylie earlier this year. “Because she tagged Lorraine Schwartz, I assumed it was borrowed,” the influencer explained. “But now, almost a year later, she’s wearing what seems to be the same ring again – and this time, she didn’t tag Lorraine Schwartz,” she added. That detail, she argued, could mean Kylie loved the piece enough to buy it.

The mystery continues

Lorraine Schwartz shared a post about Kylie’s double pear-shaped diamond earrings from that night and didn’t mention the ring at all. This made people even more curious. Fans are convinced Kylie might’ve quietly purchased the stone after its first red carpet appearance.

Whether it is borrowed, gifted, or bought, Kylie’s jewellery game has definitely turned fans into detectives.

Charli XCX Teams Up With John Cale in Trippy ‘House’ Video: Watch

by jummy84 November 10, 2025
written by jummy84

Charli XCX has teamed up with Velvet Underground’s John Cale to create a trippy video for their new collaborative song “House,” which will appear on the soundtrack to director Emerald Fennell’s upcoming big screen adaptation of Wuthering Heights.

The idea was sparked a few years back when Charli saw the the 2021 Todd Haynes documentary The Velvet Underground. “One thing that stuck with me was how John Cale described a key sonic requirement of the Velvet Underground,” she wrote in a note to fans. “That any song had to be both ‘elegant and brutal.’ I got really stuck on that phrase. I write it down on my notes app and would pull it up from time to time and think about what he meant.”

“When working on music for this film, ‘elegant and brutal’ was a phrase I kept coming back to,” she continued. “One day whilst on tour in Austin, Finn [Keane] and I went to the studio and wrote the bones for a song that would eventually become House. When the summer ended I was still ruminating on John’s words. So I decided to reach out to him to get his opinion on the songs that his phrase had so deeply inspired, but also to see whether he might want to collaborate on any.”

They wound up chatting on the phone, and Charli sent over several songs, including her initial take on “House.” “We spoke about the idea of a poem,” she added. “He recorded something and sent it to me. Something that only John could do. And it was… well, it made my cry.”

The unsettling video shows Charli and Cale isolated together in a remote house, creating the vibe of a horror movie. It includes a spoken-word poem by Cale. “Can I speak to you privately for a moment,” he says. “I just want to explain/Explain the circumstances I find myself in/What and who I really am/I’m a prisoner/To live for eternity.”

“House” is one of several Charli XCX songs that will appear on the Wuthering Heights soundtrack. The project began a year ago when Fennell reached out to see if she’d write a single song for the movie, which stars Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi.

Trending Stories

“I read the script and immediately felt inspired so Finn Keane and I began working on not just one but many songs that we felt connected to the world she was creating,” Charli wrote. “After being so in the depths of my previous album I was excited to escape into something entirely new, entirely opposite. When I think of Wuthering Heights I think of many things. I think of passion and pain. I think of England. I think of the Moors, I think of the mud and the cold. I think of determination and grit.”

The Wuthering Heights soundtrack is one of many projects that Charli XCX has in the works. She’s also star to star in Daniel Goldhaber’s Faces of Death, Gregg Araki’s I Want Your Sex, Cathy Yan’s The Gallerist, Julia Jackman’s 100 Nights of Hero, Romain Gavras’s Sacrifice, and Pete Ohs’s Erupcja.

Max B Released From Prison – French Montana Posts Video Hugging Him After Years Behind Bars

In a moving Instagram post, French Montana shared what appears to be a reunion with longtime friend Max B as the rapper was welcomed home — a moment French described: “CANT MAKE THIS UP! MY BROTHER REALLY CAME HOME ON MY BDAY! HAMDULILLAH WALKED IT DOWN! NO MORE FREE YOU ”. The video shows warm embraces and appears to mark a significant milestone for Max B.

Max B (real name Charley Wingate) was incarcerated following one of the most highly-publicised hip-hop criminal cases in recent history. In 2009, he was convicted on multiple charges including conspiracy, armed r#bbery, and kidnapping after a botched hotel heist in New Jersey. According to reports, he was initially sentenced to up to 75 years in prison.

Over time, his sentence was reduced when he entered a plea for aggravated mansl#ughter. Though the exact timing of his release in the footage isn’t stated in the post, a jail-phone-call interview suggested he could be released by November 9, 2025.

French Montana’s caption references “WALKED IT DOWN! NO MORE FREE YOU” — an apparent nod to Max B’s long-standing supporters rallying under the “Free Max B” banner during his incarceration.

written by jummy84

Ted Lasso and Shrinking writer and actor Brett Goldstein is getting into a new line of work — the world’s oldest profession — in his next series.

Goldstein will star in, write and serve as co-showrunner on Escorted, a comedy that has landed a straight-to-series order at Prime Video. Brian Gallivan, who works with Goldstein on Shrinking at Apple TV+, is co-showrunner.

Goldstein will play a divorced father in Manhattan who, according to the show’s logline, “accidentally becomes a male escort in this romantic comedy about second chances, the mayhem of co-parenting, and whether real intimacy can ever be bought.”

Warner Bros. Television, where Goldstein has an overall deal, and Amazon MGM Studios are producing Escorted. Goldstein and Gallivan executive produce with Cooper Wehde, Josh Senior and Molly Mandel.

Goldstein has won two Emmys for his role as Roy Kent on Ted Lasso and is set to reprise his role in the show’s fourth season. He and Gallivan also shared in Shrinking’s Emmy nod for best comedy series this year.

Goldstein is currently filming the Netflix feature film Office Romance with Jennifer Lopez; he and Ted Lasso’s Joe Kelly also co-wrote the script. His first stand-up special, The Second Best Night of Your Life, premiered on HBO Max earlier this year.

Goldstein is repped by WME, Mosaic, B-Sides, LARK and Hansen Jacobson. Gallivan is repped by Susie Fox at Entertainment 360.

First Sight Media delivers a video masterpiece to mark CTPA’s 80th Anniversary

by jummy84 November 7, 2025
written by jummy84

Content creation and streaming agency, First Sight Media, has partnered with the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association (CTPA) to create the association’s video content for its 80th Anniversary, celebrating eight decades of championing the cosmetics and personal care industry in the UK.

The centrepiece of this ambitious content project is an anniversary movie, “A Story That We Share”, which premiered at the CTPA’s Anniversary Dinner at 8 Northumberland Avenue, London. The movie showcases the organisation’s rich legacy, core values, and the voices of its members, partners and stakeholders.

Produced by First Sight Media, the video weaves together compelling interviews, stakeholder testimonials, dynamic animation, and professionally voiced narration.

The content has also been strategically repurposed into a ‘Collection’ of shorter video clips entitled ‘What Our Members Say’, showcasing CTPA’s work and contribution on various themes through the words of CTPA members themselves.

“We had a vision for this special Anniversary year, that involved bringing together many voices amongst our members, stakeholders and partners, to capture the ethos and spirit of CTPA’s work throughout the years and looking ahead. An exciting but complex project! First Sight Media’s technical expertise and all-round professionalism made this journey a delight. We’re immensely proud of what we’ve created with them,” said Héloïse Prieur, communications and marketing manager at CTPA.

The collaboration began in December 2024, with filming taking place into 2025. First Sight Media coordinated shoots across multiple London locations to meet the demanding schedules of the CTPA’s Board members and stakeholders. Post-production, including editing, animation, and voiceover work, was completed in April, with the final film ready for debut in summer 2025.

“We were honoured to help articulate how CTPA has been at the heart of their industry for 80 years – through the power of video,” explained Rich Belcher, MD of First Sight Media.

The movie reflects not only the Association’s rich legacy, but also the ongoing excellence that defines both CTPA and the wider cosmetics and personal care industry. It highlights the industry’s essential role in promoting wellbeing, its commitment to safety, quality, trust, and passion, driven by science and innovation.

“The result included a timeline of the industry’s development, showing how CTPA has been there to guide, lead and influence the industry in its 80 years. To show the diversity of membership, we then captured testimonials and interviews with members. Although there were set questions, the range of answers told a fresh and unique perspective, which we were able to integrate to create a movie that is both personal, inspiring and informative,” concluded Belcher.

The Anniversary movie can be watched on CTPA’s website here: Celebrating 80 Years.
