“Hey all you groovy headbangers…” Shut up, sit down, and watch the movie! Alamo Drafthouse has posted a funny “Don’t Talk, Don’t Text” PSA for the upcoming Spinal Tap II: The End Continues movie featuring the old rockers all together. The long-awaited mockumentary rock doc sequel is hitting theaters in September – watch the full trailer here. Drafthouse got the band together to make this video, which plays before the movie to remind people attending the movie of their rules: no talking, no texting, no disturbances or you’ll be kicked out. For real. Still the best policy for all movie theaters nowadays! The entire cast rock band is back for more mayhem 40 years later after the original This is Spinal Tap doc, as they reunite and deal with all their grudges from the past. Spinal Tap II: The End Continues is once again directed by Rob Reiner, with Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer reprising their iconic roles as the legendary heavy metal band Spinal Tap. We also posted other Alamo Drafthouse PSA videos featuring John Lithgow & Geoffrey Rush here, and with Kyle Mooney from last year. As cheesy as these videos are to watch, I’m glad they keep making them to remind people how to properly sit & watch movies with no phone.

Spinal Tap II PSA

You can rewatch the official trailer for Spinal Tap II: The End Continues right here for some actual footage.

This Is Spinal Tap was released to critical acclaim in 1984 and went on to become a cult classic. In 2002, it was deemed “culturally, historically, and aesthetically significant” by the Library of Congress, and was selected for preservation by the National Film Registry. Conceived by rockers Guest, McKean, Reiner, and Shearer, Spinal Tap II follows England’s loudest and most punctual band, as they reunite after a 15-year hiatus for one final concert. On the 40th anniversary of the original film, the sequel to the legendary rock mockumentary that put the film company on a run of success. Spinal Tap II: The End Continues is once again directed by iconic American filmmaker Rob Reiner, director of many classics like Stand By Me, The Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, A Few Good Men, The Story of Us, plus docs the original This Is Spinal Tap, I Am Your Child, and Albert Brooks: Defending My Life most recently. The screenplay is by Christopher Guest & Michael McKean & Rob Reiner & Harry Shearer. Produced by Rob Reiner, Michele Reiner and Matthew George; financed by Castle Rock Entertainment. Bleecker Street opens Reiner’s Spinal Tap II sequel in theaters nationwide on September 12th, 2025 coming up this fall. Ready to rock again?

Mariah Carey Will Receive Video Vanguard Award at 2025 MTV VMAs

by jummy84 August 21, 2025
written by jummy84

MTV has named Mariah Carey its 2025 Video Vanguard Award recipient. The seven-time MTV Video Music Award nominee will perform a medley of her biggest hits when the show airs live on CBS from UBS Arena in New York on Sept. 7.

The coveted award will be the first VMA the musician has received in her storied career. Carey is nominated this year in the Best R&B Video category for her action flick-themed video for “Type Dangerous.” It’s her first nomination as a lead artist since she was up for Best Female Video for “Touch My Body” in 2008. Other highlight career moments, including “Shake It Off” and “We Belong Together,” earned nods over the years, but the Moonmen never made their way to her.

The honor comes at a prime time for Carey, who will release her 16th studio album Here for It All on Sept. 26. The record marks her first since 2018’s Caution. Though she has largely kept details about the project under wraps, she did share another preview on her latest single “Sugar Sweet” with Shenseea and Kehlani.

For her Video Vanguard Award performance, Carey has quite a few options. She could dominate the performance on her own, with plenty of solo hits to fill the space, but her collaborative well runs deep, too. There’s Busta Rhymes, Boyz II Men, Latto, Miguel, Jadakiss, Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri, and more who could join her for the set.

Earlier this year, Carey similarly received her first-ever BET Award when she was honored with the BET Ultimate Icon Award. “My life and career have been quite the adventure,” Carey said during her speech. “It took me a while, but I realized life is far too short to live for anyone else’s approval.”

Trending Stories

Both awards follow Carey’s second shutout from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Carey follows recent Video Vanguard Award recipients Katy Perry, Shakira, Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliott, Jennifer Lopez, P!nk, and Rihanna.

Be it Amitabh Bachchan or Salman Khan, everyone has to face a lot of water in front of the rain here. Currently, a video of Amitabh Bachchan’s Juhu bungalow has surfaced on the internet, in which water is seen everywhere, leading to people facing lots of problems.

Amitabh Bachchan

Let us tell you that Amitabh Bachchan’s Juhu bungalow, Pratiksha, is one of the famous icons of Mumbai. However, at present, he is with his daughter Shweta Bachchan, who was seen submerged in severe floods due to heavy rains in Mumbai. Someone has shared a video of Pratiksha on social media, where water is shown being filled from the road to the campus inside the bungalow.

Amitabh Bachchan

In this video going viral on the internet, the person is saying, ‘Look, how much water is filled here, and it is being said that Amitabh Bachchan himself came with a wiper to remove the water.’ That person is saying, ‘No matter how much money you have, no matter how many crores you have, no one has been able to escape the rain of Mumbai. Neither Ambani nor Amitabh Bachchan.’

Alia Bhatt Trolled For Anti-Dr*g Campaign Video; NBC Turns Off Comments Amid Severe Backlash

by jummy84 August 20, 2025
written by jummy84

The Chandigarh division of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NBC) recently posted a video on their X handle, featuring Alia Bhatt as the face of their mission campaign. The Jigra actress was seen endorsing a “dr*g-free” Bharat and supporting NBC’s mission. However, the video quickly went viral, and the internet began trolling Bhatt, criticising her as an unsuitable choice to promote this initiative.

Alia Bhatt Gets Trolled For Supporting NBC’s Dr*g Free Bharat Mission

Alia Bhatt appeared in a video shared by the official dr*g law enforcement agency, encouraging everyone to say no to dr*gs and join NBC’s fight against addiction. She is heard saying, “Hello friends, I am Alia Bhatt. Today I want to talk about a very serious issue of dr*g addiction and how it’s becoming a threat to our lives, society, and nation. Support the Narcotics Control Bureau in this special campaign against dr*gs. Say yes to life and no to dr*gs. You can take an e-pledge against dr*gs by visiting the link given below or by scanning the QR code, and you can definitely join the NCB. Jai Hind.”

The video was shared 680 times and received 1.1 million views. The caption on the NBC post read, “Alia Bhatt joins hands with NCB to spread the message of a #Dr*gsFreeBharat #NashaMuktBharat #azadifromdr*gs.” Despite the intention, the comments section was flooded with harsh remarks criticising her suitability for the campaign. After just six comments, NBC disabled the comments option altogether.

How Alia Bhatt Got Trolled For The NBC Campaign Video

While the comment section was turned off, some users reshared the video using the “quote-tweet” feature. One comment read, “Like, why do they keep making us take pledges? When has a pledge ever worked? If someone offers me dr*gs, I am not going to be like, but I promised Alia Bhatt.”

Another user mocked, “Bollywood spreading dr*g awareness.” Additionally, one internet user attached a screenshot of a past quote from Ranbir Kapoor. He admitted, “I used it (w*ed), during Rockstar,” referencing his past struggles with dr*gs.
