Since its release in 2013, The Conjuring has grown into a sprawling horror franchise. Loosely based on the case files of paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, who were real people, the franchise comprises today three main Conjuring films, three Annabelle spinoffs, and several more. If you’re feeling adventurous enough for a full marathon, here’s how to watch the movies in story-chronological order, as well as where to stream them.

  1. The Nun (2018) – Set in 1952

This is where the demon Valak all started. A priest sent by the Vatican and a novice look into the untimely death of a nun at a Romanian abbey.

Available on: JioHotstar, Prime Video, Apple TV (rent)

  1. Annabelle: Creation (2017) – Set in 1955

A dollmaker and his wife take in orphan girls as a home after losing their own daughter. One of their works, Annabelle, unleashes havoc.

Released on: Netflix, Prime Video

  1. Annabelle (2014) – Set in 1967

This initial Annabelle spinoff tells the story of a couple that witnesses frightening supernatural occurrences after inviting the evil doll into their lives.

Released on: Netflix, Prime Video

  1. Annabelle Comes Home (2019) – Set in 1972

The Warrens take Annabelle to their artifact room, but things get out of hand when a nosy teen friend of their babysitter unleashes the devilish forces.

Available on: Netflix, Prime Video

  1. The Conjuring (2013) – Based in 1971

The Warrens assist the Perron family in fighting evil spirits in their Rhode Island farmhouse in one of the most well-known installments of the franchise.

Available on: Prime Video, Apple TV (rent/buy)

  1. The Curse of La Llorona (2019) – Set in 1973

Loosely linked to the Conjuring universe through Father Perez from Annabelle, this movie brings the Mexican folklore of La Llorona to life.

Available on: Apple TV (rent/buy)

  1. The Conjuring 2 (2016) – Set in 1977

The Warrens are called to London to assist a single mother and her children in one of their most well-documented cases, the Enfield poltergeist.

Where to watch: Prime Video

  1. The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021) – 1981

This is the first time in the real trial of Arne Cheyenne Johnson that demonic possession has been tried as a defense in court.

Where to watch: Prime Video

  1. The Nun II (2023) – 1956

Sister Irene comes back to uncover a series of fatalities attributed to Valak’s return in this spine-chilling sequel.

Streaming on: JioHotstar, Prime Video, Apple TV (rent)

Backstreet Boys Unlock New Pop Possibilities at Sphere: Pop Shop Podcast

As the first pop headliner at the Las Vegas Sphere, Backstreet Boys were able to bring a brand-new sense of fun, nostalgia and Y2K whimsy to the cutting-edge venue.

Onstage at their Into the Millennium residency — which began last month and wrapped its first wave on Sunday night (before kicking off 14 additional dates starting in December) — BSB promised to put the crowd into a “time machine” back to the late-’90s heyday of boy bands and bubblegum pop. Katie was in the orb for the 21st show over the weekend, and on the new Billboard Pop Shop Podcast, she tells Keith all about her spaceship ride back to the turn of the millennium.

After witnessing visual feats from U2, Eagles and Dead & Company, the thing that stuck out the most to Katie was how fun this go-round at the Sphere was — especially the boy band’s use of the rumbling seats and floor for big-bang moments and the way the group’s trademark choreography was blown up to supersize on the floor-to-ceiling screen, highlighting all the dance moves we learned in our living rooms while watching MTV’s TRL.

Hear our full discussion about the Backstreet Boys spectacle on the podcast below:

Also on the show, as Morgan Wallen sits tight at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, Conan Gray and Billie Eilish shake up the top 10, while Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department returns to the top 10 in the wake of the news of her forthcoming album. Plus, on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, we now have four songs from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack in the top 10. When was the last time a soundtrack had four top 10s? And has any soundtrack ever had four hits in the top 10 at the same time?

The Billboard Pop Shop Podcast is your one-stop shop for all things pop on Billboard‘s weekly charts. You can always count on a lively discussion about the latest pop news, fun chart stats and stories, new music, and guest interviews with music stars and folks from the world of pop.
