Attendees converging for Salesforce Dreamforce this week will be the first to experience the world’s most advanced event app featuring a hyperlocal personalized mapping experience powered by Eventbase and Pointr.

Taking place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco October 14–16, 2025, Dreamforce is Salesforce’s flagship annual conference and it’s also the world’s largest and most trusted AI event. With Dreamforce’s campus spanning multiple venues around the Moscone Center as well as nearby hotels, outdoor plazas, and iconic venues across San Francisco, navigating such a large-scale event can be overwhelming. So this year Salesforce set out to transform event navigation by partnering with Eventbase, the gold standard in event apps, and Pointr, the global leader in indoor location technology.

Reinventing Event Navigation

Eventbase natively integrated Pointr Maps into the Salesforce Events App, making it easy for attendees to navigate the venue with the help of precision indoor location and blue-dot wayfinding. Leveraging Bluetooth signals from beacons as well as WiFi access points, Pointr Maps offer unmatched accuracy and seamless transitions between floors and indoor/outdoor as well. In addition, Pointr’s MapScale product uses AI to dramatically reduce the time it takes to import and update map files, and Pointr’s smart routing engine automatically calculates optimal navigation routes.

Salesforce also worked with Eventbase to extend the Pointr product to display on the map both hyperlocal personalized recommendations and the location of the attendee’s sessions on a selected day. A game-changer for attendees, this transforms the map into a discovery tool helping attendees decide what to do next based on what is nearby.
