Top 10 Hair Transplant Clinics in Turkey (2025) – Hollywood Life

by jummy84 September 8, 2025
written by jummy84

Reports suggest that Turkey’s hair restoration industry treated a significant number of patients in 2024, with the majority coming from abroad. Leading clinics often highlight high graft survival rates, with some citing figures around one year post-procedure. Innovations such as Oxycure™ oxygen therapy, exosome‑enhanced serums, and AI‑guided incision mapping have set new standards in recovery and precision. This guide highlights ten clinics that combine surgeon‑led protocols, transparent outcomes, and evidence‑based care.

Vera Clinic (Istanbul)

Vera Clinic is often highlighted by international patients as one of the leading hair transplant providers in Turkey, introducing their innovations such as Sapphire FUE and Oxycure Therapy. Oxycure™ Therapy is a hyperbaric oxygen–based recovery protocol designed to support healing and improve graft survival following procedures. Its all‑inclusive package (€2,990) covers up to 5,000 grafts, luxury transfers, and surgeon‑led follow‑ups. Vera Clinic has treated a large number of international patients, who often cite its consistent clinical oversight as a key factor. Patients who adhere to post‑op guidelines qualify for a complimentary touch‑up within 1.5 years.

Asmed (Dr. Koray Erdoğan/ Istanbul)

Asmed is renowned for high‑density DHI and artistic hairline design under Dr. Erdoğan’s direct supervision. The clinic employs digital scalp mapping to support precise graft placement and help reduce transection rates. Pricing is €3 per graft, with typical sessions of 2,500–3,000 grafts. Independent audits have reported high levels of patient satisfaction along with relatively low revision rates.

HLC – Hairline Clinic (Ankara)

HLC limits surgeries to one per surgeon per day and uses manual FUE extraction to help reduce transection rates. Sessions cost €3 per graft, averaging 2,000–3,500 grafts. Their telehealth check-ins are designed to encourage consistent adherence to recovery protocols. HLC is often chosen by Western European patients for its focus on natural-looking outcomes and discreet service.

Dr. Muttalip Keser Clinic (Istanbul)

Dr. Keser personally performs each procedure with custom micro-punch tools, a technique intended to minimize donor trauma and support strong graft retention over time. Packages start at €8,750 for 2,500 grafts, with the clinic capping weekly cases to eight for maximal focus. Quarterly audits are published to maintain transparency. Clients praise the boutique setting’s personalized care.

Armamed (Dr. Erkan Demirsoy / Istanbul)

Armamed operates on a surgeon-only model, combining motorized FUE with manual implantation to streamline procedures while supporting graft integrity. The €5,000 all‑inclusive package includes assessment, surgery, and follow‑up. Internal records indicate a relatively low rate of revisions in 2024. Armamed’s conservative approach emphasizes safety and natural aesthetics.

Transmed Clinic (Istanbul)

Founded in 1994, Transmed combines FUE with PRP and mesotherapy, an approach intended to support graft survival and patient recovery. Their bilingual portal logs healing biomarkers via weekly photo uploads, helping to improve patient engagement. Grafts are priced at €3 each, and research partnerships enhance clinical credibility. Patient surveys reflect positive feedback on its comprehensive care.

AHD Clinic (Dr. Hakan Doğanay / Antalya)

AHD Clinic in Antalya offers LED photobiomodulation sessions, which are intended to support early follicle viability, and provides evening surgery slots to accommodate international travelers. A 3,000‑graft package costs €4,000, including accommodation and transfers. Digital follow-ups at days 7, 30, and 90 are designed to help monitor recovery and reduce the risk of complications. Its coastal setting supports a restful recovery.

CapilClinic Turkey (Istanbul & Spain)

CapilClinic’s M Pack (€2,490 for up to 1,500 grafts) includes lodging, transfers, and two years of tele‑dermatology support. The clinic uses vitamin-infused saline and gender-specific sedation, approaches intended to support patients during the early shedding phase. A unified EHR system is designed to help reduce cross-border errors and improve continuity of care. Their digital aftercare guides drive an 87% adherence to post‑op regimens.

Medicana International (Istanbul)

Medicana’s hospital‑based unit offers €3 per graft transplants alongside full anesthesia and emergency backup. Comprehensive pre-op cardiac and endocrine screenings are intended to help lower perioperative risks. The facility’s interoperable medical records are designed to streamline multidisciplinary care and support strong adherence to safety protocols. This model suits medically complex patients.

MCAN Health (Istanbul)

MCAN Health’s all‑inclusive package starts at €2,290 for 2,000 grafts, covering VR‑guided scar education, 24/7 multilingual support, and a recovery app that is designed to support patient compliance.

Their digital scheduling portal is designed to help reduce no-show rates. The clinic’s logistical precision makes it a top choice for first‑time medical tourists.

Jarmusch’s Boring Film Wins Venice 2025’s Golden Lion Top Prize

by Alex Billington
September 6, 2025
Source: Biennale

At the end of it all, we finally have our winners. The 82nd Venice Film Festival wrapped up this weekend on the sunny Lido island in Venice, and awards were handed out at a fancy awards show in the Sala Grande. The top prize at Venice is a Golden Lion (in honor of the iconic lion that is the symbol of the city) and it’s one of the top prizes in cinema along with the Palme d’Or from Cannes (which was given to Jafar Panahi in May). This year’s winner is a film titled Father Mother Sister Brother, the latest feature from American filmmaker Jim Jarmusch, back after a six year hiatus without making much. Alas it will go down in cinema history as one of the worst film festival prizes ever. Barely anyone liked this film, except for a handful of critics. No one think it deserves any awards. And somehow it won over some of the most incredible, awards-worthy films of the year: No Other Choice, Silent Friend, A House of Dynamite, The Testament of Ann Lee. What was the jury up to? Why this one? The ultimate nothing, boring, unexciting film has won an award it doesn’t deserve. Ugh. Last year in Venice, Pedro Almodovar’s The Room Next Door won over The Brutalist – another strange pick. The prize for Best Director was given out to Benny Safdie (another unexpected choice) along with a number of other very weird picks from the jury. View the full list of #Venezia82 winners below.

Main Venice Awards

The jury chaired by filmmaker Alexander Payne and also including Stéphane Brizé, Maura Delpero, Cristian Mungiu, Mohammad Rasoulof, Fernanda Torres, and Zhao Tao, after watching all 21 films, has awarded:

Golden Lion for Best Film:
Father Mother Sister Brother by Jim Jarmusch

Silver Lion Grand Jury Prize:
The Voice of Hind Rajab by Kaouther Ben Hania

Silver Lion Award for Best Director:
Benny Safdie for the film The Smashing Machine

Coppa Volpi for Best Actress:
Xin Zhilei in the film Sun Rises on Us All (Ri Gua Zhong Tian) by Shangjun Cai

Coppa Volpi for Best Actor:
Toni Servillo in the film Grace (La Grazia) by Paolo Sorrentino

Award for Best Screenplay:
Valérie Donzelli for At Work (À pied d’oeuvre) also by Valérie Donzelli

Special Jury Prize:
Below the Clouds (Sotto le Nuvole) by Gianfranco Rosi

Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor or Actress:
Luna Wedler in the film Silent Friend by Ildikó Enyedi

“Luigi De Laurentiis” Venice Award for a Debut Film:
Short Summer by Nastia Korkia

Armani Beauty Audience Award:
Calle Málaga by Maryam Touzani

Luna Wedler - Venice 2025 Winner

Orizzonti Section Awards

The Orizzonti Jury, chaired by filmmaker Julia Ducournau, also including Yuri Ancarani, Fernando Enrique Juan Lima, Shannon Murphy, and RaMell Ross, after watching 19 feature films in competition, awarded:

Orizzonti Award for Best Film:
On the Road (En el Camino) by David Pablos

Orizzonti Award for Best Director:
Anuparna Roy for the film Songs of Forgotten Trees

Special Orizzonti Jury Prize:
Lost Land (Harà Watan) by Akio Fujimoto

Orizzonti Award for Best Actress:
Benedetta Porcaroli in Kidnapping of Arabella (Il rapimento di Arabella) by Carolina Cavalli

Orizzonti Award for Best Actor:
Giacomo Covi in the film A Year of School (Un anno di scuola) by LauraSamani

Orizzonti Award for Best Screenplay:
Ana Cristina Barragán for The Ivy (Hiedra) also by Ana Cristina Barragán

That’s all for now. For the full list of awards (including a few more), head to labiennale.org. Congratulations to all of the winners this year. Though now it’s time to rant: this is terrible. Really, truly – an exceptionally frustrating, entirely nonsensical Golden Lion pick. WHY?! There is NO interesting or unique or innovative or clever filmmaking in Jarmusch’s film at all. It is infuriating to award this film the top prize at the Venice Film Festival over any number of other exceptional films that actually have some vibrant, vivid, masterful filmmaking within them: No Other Choice, Silent Friend, A House of Dynamite, The Testament of Ann Lee. I also did not want The Voice of Hind Rajab to win for political reasons. Important story & important film, but the filmmaking is not that interesting or exciting either. But at least that would’ve been better than this one. The rest of the awards also don’t make sense. Benny Safdie for Best Director? Huh!? Nothing for Park Chan-wook? One tiny award for Silent Friend which is a masterpiece? Jesse Plemons in Bugonia deserved to win for Best Actor. Amanda Seyfried in Ann Lee deserved to win for Best Actress. I’m so upset by this. But this is just my opinion and it’s time to move on. I’d rather get back to focusing on my favorites – the films that really do deserve our attention. As always, try to catch any of these films in the theater when they open. Hopefully they’ll be at another fest near you or releasing soon. For more of my Venice 2025 posts, click here.

Stressed over trip planning as a couple? Top 5 tips for a perfect vacation: Budgeting to dividing responsibilities | Travel

by jummy84 September 4, 2025

Instead of bickering over your trip plan, here’s an easy couple’s guide to make travel stress-free and bond well.

Trip planning should not ideally follow a one-size-fits-all approach, with generic itineraries and copy-paste schedules, sightseeing spots. The plan depends on the family size: be it a multigenerational family with kids and grandparents, a solo traveller, or parents with little children. Likewise, a couple’s trip needs to prioritise planning that includes fun, intimate time together for relaxation and bonding.

Heniel Rupaarelia, founder and managing director at ETrav Tech Ltd, shared with HT Lifestyle five tips for couples on how to plan their trips:

1. Make it experience-first

  • Select destinations that combine romance with light adventure, such as beaches, hillside retreats or cultural hubs, where mornings might mean hiking misty trails and evenings end with wine by the ocean. Replace rigid timetables with freedom.
  • Renting bicycles in safe areas offers spontaneity and shared exploration in a way private cars rarely can.
  • Keep at least one day unscheduled and plan a spontaneous visit to a local cafe, a hidden waterfall or a market unknown to guidebooks.

2. Budget smart, not tight

Make a checklist as you head to the destination.(Freepik)
Make a checklist as you head to the destination.(Freepik)
  • Blend indulgence with authenticity. Splurge on a scenic fine-dining experience but balance it with street food walks or local market tastings, which often reveal the most memorable flavours and stories.
  • Keep a flexible budget with a buffer for last-minute opportunities such as a surprise couple’s spa treatment, a private sunset sail or an offbeat cultural tour.
  • Skip the expensive glamour of Paris or London in peak season and instead, enjoy Vietnam’s charming cafes, Sri Lanka’s coastal escapes or Croatia’s romantic old towns at a fraction of the price with double the charm.

3. Balance sightseeing and downtime

  • It’s tempting to load the itinerary with every ‘must-see’, but overplanning can erode the very connection you’re travelling to nurture.
  • Trips with one to two planned activities per day have turned out to be more fruitful than those with three or more.
  • Build in slow mornings, unhurried meals and unstructured afternoons. Use in-between moments to share a coffee on a balcony, to spend a lazy afternoon in a hammock or to take a romantic stroll.

4. Divide responsibilities to avoid burnout

Divide the roles, while one handles the destination spotting, another takes care of commute plans.(Freepik)

  • Planning fatigue is real, and putting the entire burden on one partner risks imbalance.
  • The most efficient travel pairs adopt a split-and-conquer model. One handles flights, visas and core bookings, while the other shortlists hotels based on location, safety and ambience.
  • Assigning roles such as food scout or map master not only divides the workload but turns planning into a joint adventure.

5. Choose destinations that strengthen the bond

Ubud in Bali offers activities like couple spa.(Freepik)

  • Tourist-friendly hubs like Bali, Portugal or Japan offer the right mix of beauty, culture and ease of movement, all extremely crucial for a stress-free bonding. Avoid regions with safety concerns unless both are seasoned travellers.
  • Travel season matters, too. Shoulder seasons like April in Greece or September in Japan offer lower prices, fewer crowds and more space for intimacy. For couples travelling from India, short-haul destinations like the Maldives, Bhutan or Thailand provide seamless escapes without long layovers.
  • Design the trip to match your shared energy. Ubud in Bali offers couples’ spas and jungle views, Lake Bled in Slovenia delivers fairy-tale tranquillity and Hoi An in Vietnam charms with lantern-lit evenings.

Experience is paramount on a couple’s trip, slow, intimate moments which outshine the otherwise packed itineraries. From spontaneous detours to leisurely beginning the day with breakfast in bed, travelling for a couple is a good way to connect, especially for the new ones.

AIIMS, Harvard gastroenterologist shares top 3 reasons for bloating, says ‘even healthy foods can trigger symptoms’ | Health

Bloating can be uncomfortable and confusing. AIIMS, Harvard gastroenterologist Dr. Sethi shares the top 3 causes and how to tackle them effectively.

Bloating can be uncomfortable and sometimes embarrassing, affecting your daily routine and overall digestion. Many people struggle to identify why it happens, as the causes are often overlooked or misunderstood. Dr Saurabh Sethi, a gastroenterologist and liver specialist trained at AIIMS, Harvard and Stanford Universities, shared in his September 3 Instagram post the top 3 reasons for bloating and how to tackle them effectively. (Also read: Gastroenterologist shares 7 common mistakes people make while cooking in air fryer: ‘Always clean the tray and use…’ )

Dr. Sethi reveals key factors behind bloating and digestive discomfort.(Shutterstock)

1. Diet

Dr. Sethi explains that what you eat can play a huge role in bloating. “The biggest culprits are lactose, fructose, fructans, sorbitol, and other carbohydrates that your gut does not fully absorb. Even healthy foods can ferment in the digestive tract and trigger symptoms if you are sensitive,” he says. He emphasises that it’s not just “junk” foods, sometimes foods considered healthy can also lead to gas and discomfort depending on an individual’s gut sensitivity.

2. IBS or Functional Dyspepsia

According to Dr. Sethi, conditions like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or functional dyspepsia mean your gut is more sensitive than usual. “The movement of your intestines is disordered, which can lead to gas getting trapped, belly distention, and bloating,” he explains. He also points out that these issues are often linked to changes in gut bacteria, meaning your digestive system may react more strongly to foods or stress than usual.

3. Constipation

Slow-moving bowels can also be a major factor in bloating. Dr. Sethi says, “Even if you are going once a day, if your colon moves slowly, food sits longer, leading to more fermentation, gas buildup, and bloating.” He adds that constipation can make the gut overly sensitive, contributing to the same problems seen in IBS, including gas trapping, belly distention, and alterations in gut bacteria.

How Stream7 Solves the Top Technical Challenges at Events

by jummy84 September 3, 2025
written by jummy84

Hybrid events, virtual events and live conferences are now central to how organisations connect with audiences. But technical challenges can derail even the best-planned event. From unreliable connectivity to poor audio or visuals, small technical issues can have a big impact on engagement, brand reputation and return on investment. Stream7 specialises in event production, live streaming and content creation, helping organisers deliver seamless events that connect audiences everywhere.

  1. Unstable Internet Connections

Why it matters: A livestream that buffers or drops can frustrate remote attendees and damage the credibility of the event. Event organisers know that audience engagement depends on a reliable connection, but venues often have limited or unpredictable internet infrastructure.

Stream7’s solution: Stream7 provides full connectivity for events, using bonded internet systems that combine multiple 4G, 5G and Ethernet feeds into a single stable connection. By testing sites in advance and bringing backup options, they ensure broadcasts stay live from conference centres, hotels or even outdoor festival sites.

Impact: Attendees enjoy uninterrupted access to the event, while organisers avoid the stress and reputational damage of a failed livestream.

  1. Audio Quality Issues

Why it matters: Poor sound quality distracts audiences and makes it difficult for messages to land. In both hybrid and virtual events, audio is often the number one factor that shapes the audience experience.

Stream7’s solution: Their experienced sound engineers design audio systems for each venue and audience. They use professional microphones, mixing desks and monitoring tools to deliver clear and balanced sound both in the room and online.

Impact: Audiences remain engaged, speakers are heard clearly and the professionalism of the event shines through.

  1. Poor On-Screen Visuals

Why it matters: Visuals carry the story of an event, especially for remote attendees. Blurry slides, distorted colours or amateur graphics can distract and reduce the perceived quality of the event.

Stream7’s solution: The team prepares slides, graphics and video content ahead of time, optimising them for both in-room screens and livestream platforms. Using high-quality broadcast equipment, they deliver sharp, professional visuals that reflect the organiser’s brand.

Impact: Attendees experience a polished event that builds trust and strengthens brand reputation.

  1. Last-Minute Content or Format Changes

Why it matters: Events are live and dynamic, and last-minute changes are often unavoidable. Without technical flexibility, small updates can cause delays, errors or confusion.

Stream7’s solution: Their workflows are designed to adapt quickly. From updated speaker slides to agenda changes, the team integrates new content seamlessly during the event.

Impact: Organisers can stay agile and responsive, while attendees enjoy a smooth, uninterrupted experience.

Stress on Event Teams

Why it matters: When technical challenges mount, organisers are pulled away from strategy and audience engagement. This stress can affect the overall delivery and success of the event.

Stream7’s solution: Acting as an extension of the organiser’s team, Stream7 takes responsibility for technical delivery from planning through to post-event content creation. Their event production, management and broadcasting expertise frees organisers to focus on their core goals.

Impact: Teams remain focused on strategy, while attendees benefit from a seamless event experience.

Setting the Standard

Technical excellence is the foundation of successful hybrid events, virtual events and live event streaming. Stream7 combines over a decade of experience in event production with cutting-edge technology to solve challenges before they impact organisers or attendees. By delivering reliable connectivity, professional audio, broadcast-quality visuals and flexible support, Stream7 ensures every event achieves its full potential. For organisations looking to elevate their event streaming, content creation and production, Stream7 is the trusted partner of choice.

Zach Top: Ain’t in It for My Health Album Review

by jummy84 September 2, 2025
written by jummy84

The idea behind Alan Jackson’s 2008 hit “Good Time” is pretty simple: work sucks, thank God it’s Friday, let’s go shut down a honky tonk. Seventeen years later, Zach Top has the same impulse. On “Country Boy Blues,” he polishes his truck, puts on his Sunday best, and hits the town—Lower Broadway in Nashville. But Top, unlike Jackson, ends the night in solemn disbelief: He walks through Music City’s epicenter without hearing a single country tune.

I imagine the strip was full of rap, EDM, and cover bands playing “Mr. Brightside.” While country music is reaching new heights commercially, the age-old debate about real country music is as heated as ever. (See: mudslinger Gavin Adcock’s recent beef with outlaw torchbearer Charley Crockett.) For Zach Top, a young traditionalist inspired by smooth stars of the 1990s like George Strait and Randy Travis, it seems that conversations around the genre’s purity aren’t so much angering as they are befuddling. Today’s country regularly strays from its roots to incorporate production from other genres, yet there isn’t a hint of modernity in Top’s sound. His dedication to a bygone era of country radio serves as a form of subtle resistance, and his emergence as a breakout star tells another story: Country fans like country music. Who would’ve thought?

His new album, Ain’t In It for My Health, is good, clean country fun, full of clear-eyed comedic writing and tight arrangements. There’s a sweetness in its simplicity: No mind-bending metaphors to be found, just crisp verses that fit smack in the middle of the beer-drinking, heart-aching, forgive-me-for-my-ramblin’-ways Venn diagram. In these songs, Top professes his first love (“Guitar”), giddily does his best Jimmy Buffet impression (“Flip Flop”), takes his girlfriend to his favorite secluded spot (“I Know a Place”), and knocks back a few too many shots of whiskey (“Honky Tonk Till It Hurts”).

Truthfully, there’s not much delineation from his last album, 2024’s Cold Beer & Country Music—which featured a song called “Sounds Like the Radio”—but there doesn’t need to be. He’s not trying to reinvent the wheel; quite the opposite. While the added emphasis on pianos and vocal harmonies makes this album’s production more elaborate, Top, with the help of producer Carson Chamberlain (a former bandleader for Keith Whitley), knows what he’s doing. He came up in the bluegrass scene, joining a family band at age 7, which helps explain his technical proficiency and consistency as a songwriter. This isn’t an album of highs and lows—Top is too grounded and set in his sound to fluctuate. It’s more of a relaxing tube ride down a creek.

To his credit, certain moments on the record demonstrate real growth as a songwriter. “South of Sanity” is particularly touching, as Top grapples with the sacrifices that come with success: “I’m somewhere outside of Missoula/They just called my name from the stage/When we hung up she was talkin’ leavin’/Now how am I supposed to sing and play?” Then there’s the fiddle-led “Livin’ a Lie”—a nod to his biggest hit to date, “I Never Lie”—where he admits that his tendency to laugh things off conceals a deep displeasure in life.

There is nothing surprising about Ain’t In It for My Health: no crossover features, drum machines, or overarching statements about what the genre is or shouldn’t be. It’s nice to have an emerging star who keeps his head down and honors the strain of country music he first fell in love with. More important, it’s exactly the type of music Zach Top wishes he’d heard on that disappointing Friday night in Nashville. One can only hope they have the sense to play it.

Bappa’s Favourite Tunes: Top 10 Bollywood Songs To Play During Ganesh Chaturthi! | Glamsham.com

Bollywood has been celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi for years, not only as a religious occasion but as a dynamic cultural event. In song and dance, the filmmakers have encapsulated the spirit of Maharashtra’s favorite festival, worshipping Lord Ganesha in memorable sequences that are woven together by devotion, drama, and rhythm. The songs have become an integral part of the festival, repeatedly played in homes, pandals, and street celebrations every year.

Timeless Aartis and Emotional Anthems

Another favorite piece is “Shendoor Lal Chadhayo” from Vaastav (1999), which was sung devoutedly by Ravindra Sathe. With its true-blue Maharashtrian background and a pious tone, the song is now a regular at Ganesh aartis in millions of homes.

Another emotional track is “Ganpati Apne Gaon Chale” from Agneepath (1990), showcasing the visarjan (immersion) of Ganpati idol. The song conveys the bittersweet sentiment of saying goodbye to Bappa dancing to the rhythm of dhol and taasha.

Ajay–Atul’s “Deva Shree Ganesha” from the 2012 Agneepath remake echoes in pandals till date. Sung by Ajay Gogavale, it’s an assertive and devotional anthem that inspires devotees of all ages.

Dance, Devotion, and Drama

Contemporary Bollywood also blends devotion with energetic dance. “Gajanana” from Bajirao Mastani (2015), rendered by Sukhwinder Singh, taps into the visceral power of age-old dhols and Maratha bravery, while “Mourya Re” from Don (2006) introduces Shah Rukh Khan to the street carnival mayhem of Mumbai streets.

Other high-energy performances include “Sadda Dil Vi Tu” from ABCD (2013) and “Hey Ganaraya” from ABCD 2 (2015), with dancers employing their craft to convey piety.

“Suno Ganpati Bappa Morya” from Judwaa 2 (2017), featuring Varun Dhawan, gives a cheerful, youthful edge to Ganpati festivities.

Tradition Meets Cinema

Even in action-oriented or politically sensitive movies such as Sarkar 3 (2017), Amitabh Bachchan’s “Ganpati Aarti” is a moment of pause and sanctity.

Likewise, Tiger Shroff’s “Jai Ganesha” in Ganpath (2023) blends energetic dance with religious passion, representing the changing face of devotion on-screen.

A Sacred Bond Through Song

From the emotional to the electrifying, these songs underline Bollywood’s unique ability to preserve and elevate Ganesh Chaturthi. They reflect not only the religious essence of the festival but also its role in uniting communities through music, dance, and shared tradition.
