On September 17, Mallika took to Instagram to share a video of her workout, captioning it, “There are no shortcuts to health, nothing replaces the power of regular exercise and consistency.” Dressed in a black tank top and tights, she showcases a series of exercises at the gym.

Here’s a closer look at her workout routine:

Mallika’s workout routine includes a mix of strength and cardio exercises that target multiple muscle groups. She starts with cycling, which helps boost her stamina, improves cardiovascular health, and warms up the body for more intensive exercises. She then moves on to leg curls, focusing on strengthening her hamstrings and lower body, which is essential for maintaining toned and strong legs.

Another key part of her session is the rope pull, an upper-body workout that engages her arms, shoulders, and back, while also enhancing grip strength and endurance. Together, these exercises form a balanced routine that keeps her fit, agile, and energised.

How she practises wellness beyond gym

Mallika is quite active on Instagram and often shares glimpses of her fitness and wellness routines with her followers. In her July 28 post, she was seen enjoying an acupuncture and sound healing session to unwind and release the stress of the past week.

She captioned the post, “Weekend Reset: acupuncture coupled with Sound healing is my ultimate self-care ritual” along with a head massage and sparkles emoji, giving fans a peek into her holistic approach to wellness beyond just workouts.

Michelle Monaghan Spills Her Go-To Secrets for Toned Abs and Radiant Skin

Abs-olutely flawless! Michelle Monaghan wasn’t just showing off her signature glow on Sept. 9 — she was spilling all her workout and wellness tips to ET while celebrating the launch of U Beauty’s SMOOTH Dynamic Wrinkle Defense Serum at The Hole in Los Angeles, California.

The 49-year-old actress stole the show in season 3 of The White Lotus and fans couldn’t stop talking about her performance, toned abs, and flawless skin.

So, how does she keep her body strong and her skin radiant? It all starts with hydration.

“I drink a lot of water, and I like staying hydrated. It makes me feel good from the inside out. … I start with lemon water in the morning, and I think that’s really critical. I like that it flushes and detoxifies my system,” she shared.

From there, it’s straight to her skincare regimen, with her U Beauty staples front and center.

“I previously had concerns with my skin that predominantly revolved around sun damage, like hyperpigmentation and some dark spots. I started to use the Resurfacing Compound and saw incredible results within about a week. Now that I’ve incorporated the SMOOTH Dynamic Wrinkle Serum, my skin has never looked better or healthier.”

But the luminous skin isn’t just about what’s in her beauty cabinet. The Mission Impossible star also credits movement and mindfulness.

“I exercise almost daily, and I meditate as well. It helps me have a calm, focused nervous system, and that makes me look and feel beautiful.”

Her fitness formula? “I do two days of strength training a week and Pilates a few times a week. That’s been tried and true for me. I love mixing strength training with flexibility and the breath work that’s incorporated into the Pilates.”

And the benefits go beyond sculpted abs.

“I feel like my best self after a workout. I feel really strong mentally and physically and I’ve got great endorphins going,” the Iowa native noted.

When it’s time to wind down after the grind, Monaghan swears by a simple massage before prioritizing her number one beauty secret: sleep.

“I was taught lymphatic massage techniques by a couple of different facialists, and the benefits are incredible, especially under your clavicle. It really helps take out inflammation and depuffs certain areas of your body.”

Then, it’s light’s out (and early.)

“Sleep is king in my house. It’s something I really value because I know how good it makes me feel and look when I’m well rested. It’s tricky, but I typically go to bed at around 8:30 or 9 p.m. If I can get a solid nine hours in, I’m winning at life,” she laughed.

Of course, her weekends come with a cozy twist.

“I’m an early riser and a morning person, but I love a Saturday or Sunday wake up where I get to stay in bed, pull back the curtains, and drink coffee while hanging out with my husband and hearing our kids walk around the house. That makes me feel really good, comforted, and calm.”

In an August 23 conversation with her fitness coach, whom she has known for 10–12 years, Tamannaah revealed that she is an early riser and shared the secrets that keep her motivated. What’s Tamannaah Bhatia’s fitness mantra

Fitness coach Siddhartha Singh shared a candid video of his conversation with Tamannaah on Instagram, captioning it, “Wakes up at 4:30 am for a workout and straight to a 12-hour shooting shift! Sustainable fitness with consistency is what people at elite levels swear by! And I thought I was busy.”

In the video, Siddhartha jokingly asked Tamannaah, “You wake up at 4:30 for training, are you going to sleep the whole day?” The actor laughed and replied, “No, I am going to work the whole day,” adding that her busy schedule can stretch anywhere from 8 to 12 hours.

Sharing what motivates her to rise so early, the actor said, “Workout in the morning, and you feel more awake. It sets the tone for the entire day.” She also opened up about how she maintains her consistency, revealing her fitness mantra: “There’s no other way to do it. Diet, of course, needs to be controlled, but you can’t substitute anything for workouts. You have to train and I enjoy it.”

In an earlier interview with Hindustan Times, Tamannaah shared details of her fitness routine, “My fitness regime consists of weights, abs, crunches, cardio, and a series of free-hand exercises. I spend at least an hour in the gym, apart from doing yoga or swimming in the morning. Sometimes I also do Pilates and aerobics.”

Benefits of early morning workout

According to a 2020 study published in the Exercise and Sport Sciences Reviews, establishing a regular morning exercise routine may be more effective than irregular or evening workouts in not only promoting sustained physical activity but also supporting long-term adherence to a fitness regimen, improving overall metabolic health, and helping individuals achieve their weight loss and wellness goals more efficiently.
