Music composer and singer Amaal Mallik has once again captured headlines, this time for his heartfelt revelations on Bigg Boss 19. In a recent promo of the reality show, Amaal was seen in an emotional conversation with actress Ashnoor Kaur, where he opened up about some of the most painful moments of his life, leaving him teary-eyed.
Reflecting on the past few years, Amaal shared, “2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 were very bad years. Emotionally bahut mushkil tha.” He spoke about enduring multiple personal losses — the death of his beloved pet dog Handsome, losing friends during the Covid-19 pandemic, and the end of a long-term relationship. “Losing my pet, losing a few friends in Covid, a 6-7 saal ka relationship coming to an end, everyone getting married, everything… aise dhad dhad dhad karke hua mere saath,” he said.
Among these heartbreaks, Amaal revealed that losing his dog Handsome affected him the most. Fighting back tears, he recalled, “When I lost Handsome, it was the worst. Mummy boli thi ki aake milke ja bimaar hai. I didn’t meet him.” Ashnoor was seen comforting him, saying, “It’s okay.”

Following the emotional episode, social media buzzed with rumours about Amaal’s possible exit from Bigg Boss 19. Reports suggest he might take a short voluntary break due to health concerns. Some fan pages even hinted at a “secret room” twist, suggesting Amaal could rejoin the show later.
Adding to the speculation, Amaal’s father Daboo Malik posted a cryptic message on X, writing, “Bahut hogaya… Abbass Milton Hain, October 28… Music is our real destiny.” While he did not mention Amaal or the show directly, fans linked the timing of his post to the exit rumours. However, no official confirmation has been made yet.
