Is Taylor Swift Going to the Kansas City Chiefs—New York Giants Game on September 21?

by jummy84 September 21, 2025
written by jummy84

Between her engagement and album announcements, Taylor Swift has been full of surprises these past couple of months. But will she shock fans by attending the Kansas City Chiefs game against the New York Giants on September 21?

The Kansas City Chiefs are scheduled to take on the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium at 8:30pm ET, and many fans are wondering if/when the team’s most famous WAG will make an appearance. Though Swift brought an army of friends to cheer on Travis Kelce from one of the stadium’s VIP suite back in 2023, the pop star did not attend any of last year’s regular season away games due to her Eras Tour schedule and alleged security concerns. She did, however, make it to all but one of her partner’s home games.

It remains to be seen if Swift will attend some of her fiancé’s away games now that she’s wrapped up her world tour. While she may not be flying all over the world, the album rollout for The Life of a Showgirl might conflict with some of Kelce’s games—not to mention Selena Gomez’s upcoming wedding to Benny Blanco, which is rumored to take place by the end this month.

If Taylor Swift attends the Kansas City Chiefs game against the New York Giants on September 21, it would mark her first regular season away game in over a year. Of course, there’s already been a break in Swift’s attendance pattern in 2025.

As expected, Swift skipped the Chief’s opening game in Brazil, but she also appeared to miss the first half of their home game on September 14. According to some reports, Swift eventually snuck into Arrowhead Stadium behind a large rolling screen midway through the game and People later confirmed her attendance.

The life of a showgirl is anything but predictable, so we’ll just have to wait and see if Taylor Swift switches things up again tonight.

Taylor Swift Talks ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ Vinyl & CD Packaging, Art

Seated in front of a backdrop reminiscent of a floral watercolor painting — perhaps a reference to artist John Everett Millais’ Hamlet-inspired work “Ophelia,” which fans theorize influenced “The Fate of Ophelia” singer’s pose on her new album cover — Taylor Swift talks about the visual art of upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl in a promo clip released by her Taylor Nation team on Saturday (Sept. 20).

“The photo shoot that we did with Mert and Marcus [Mert Alaş and Marcus Piggott] was so extraordinary and I was so happy with it that I just wanted the fans to have as many images from this sort of world, this album era, as possible,” Swift says in the brief video. “And so I really spent a lot of time figuring out how I could make the best vinyl product and the best packaging and the best CD experience that they could have.”

As Swift explains in the clip: “The CDs all have photo cards in them. The vinyls, they each have a poem inside of them, a unique poem. They’ve got more images than we ever planned to put in there.”

The Life of a Showgirl has so far been made available for pre-order in its standard format on CD and vinyl, and in various special editions — with different covers and extras, like the aforementioned photo cards — in limited (now sold-out) quantities on Swift’s official webstore. Target also released an exclusive edition CD pre-order.

Swift adds of the album art, “We chose this really high-gloss finish which I’ve never done before, and I think it looks so cool. We wanted this album to feel really luxurious and kind of as a nod to the luxury that a showgirl puts on when she’s on stage. Meanwhile, in the quick-change room she’s like [out of breath, breathing heavily] … Maybe that’s just me, I don’t know.”

“It’s all just something I’m really proud of,” says Swift, who on Friday announced her new project is also headed to select movie theaters with The Official Release Party of a Showgirl, a premiere experience that will debut her music video for album opener “The Fate of Ophelia,” behind-the-scenes footage of the shoot, lyric videos and personal reflections on the collection’s 12 tracks. “It took a lot of time to put together, a lot of concentration, a lot of organization, but hopefully it pays off. I hope the fans are happy.”

Also on the Showgirl promotional calendar: an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, set for broadcast on the BBC on her 12th studio album’s release date, Oct. 3.

Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Wedding Plans: What to Know

Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Wedding Plans: What to Know

by jummy84 September 21, 2025
written by jummy84

Family is everything to Taylor and Travis, so the VIPs automatically include their respective parents and brothers. Presumable best man Jason Kelce also shares at least two flower girl-age daughters, Wyatt and Elliotte, with wife Kylie Kelce—though depending on when the big day is, little sister Bennett could grow into the role as well. (Alas, baby Finnley will probably have to sleep this one out.)

We’ll see which of Travis’ Kansas City Chiefs teammates make the cut, but he was a groomsman at QB Patrick Mahomes‘ 2022 wedding to Brittany Mahomes, so at the very least one boy from the football team should be there. He also has a loyal coterie of pals he’s been cultivating since his Cleveland Heights days, so that golf-and-beer-centric bachelor party is gonna be lit.

As for the bride, childhood bestie Abigail Anderson has remained a mainstay in Taylor’s life. And, while her famed squad has evolved over the years, Selena Gomez is still in the inner sourdough-gifting circle, as are Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, despite rumors they’ve fallen out amid the actress’ legal battle.

Not to mention, speaking of potential flower girls, Taylor is godmother to Blake and Ryan’s daughters.

Taylor Swift Fans Are Clocking Major Reputation Easter Eggs in Her Latest Showgirl Outfit

by jummy84 September 21, 2025
written by jummy84

Just when I thought we were taking a break from Reputation (Taylor’s Version) theories, Taylor Swift throws a ‘fit that sends fans back into detective mode.

You see, before Swift even announced her new album, The Life of a Show Girl, she implied that fans will have to wait a very long time for her final two Taylor’s Version albums—if she ever releases them at all. After retaining ownership of her masters in May, the 35-year-old pop star revealed that while she finished re-recording her debut album, Taylor Swift, she’d yet to “even re-recorded a quarter” of Reputation (Taylor’s Version).

“Those two albums can still have their moment to re-emerge when the time is right if that would be something you guys would be excited about,” she wrote in a letter to fans. “But if it happens, it won’t be from a place of sadness and longing for what I wish I could have. It will just be a celebration now.”

Well, it’s fair to say Taylor Swift is in a celebratory mood. Not only is she newly engaged, but she’s got a brand new album dropping on October 3, alongside a theatrical event that will feature a brand-new music video and lengthy album commentary. She followed up this exciting news with a new video message to fans on September 20.

While Swift had a lot to say about her Showgirl photoshoot and vinyls, I’d like to talk about her outfit for a minute. The look certainly fits the new album’s aesthetic thanks to her burnt orange Reformation knitwear, fans noticed that her FoundRae initial necklace is “Reputation-coded” in more ways than one.

TikTok content

This content can also be viewed on the site it originates from.

While one fan noted the Reputation font in the video’s comment section, others referenced the album’s famous “Call It What You Want” lyric, “I want to wear his initial on a chain ’round my neck, chain ‘round my neck not because he owns me but ‘cause he really knows me.” While the “T” could certainly stand for Taylor, she shares a first initial with her fiancé, Travis Kelce.

“That necklace is one of many things pointing to the rep tv vault tracks,” one fan commented on Taylor Swift style expert Sarah Chapelle’s breakdown of the look. Another wrote, “

But wait, there’s more—and Swift’s Versace Hera watch might be the key to decoding it all. The watch itself is an obvious Easter egg, as Hera is queen of all 12 Greek gods and goddesses, while The Life of a Showgirl is her 12th studio album.

With that said, is it such a stretch to clock the Medusa medallion on her Versace leather miniskirt as a Reputation reference, given the album-era’s prominent snake motif? Fans have certainly made that connection before. And what about her teal manicure, the color long-associated with her debut album?

Describing the happenings as “a dazzling soirée,” Swift wrote on Instagram that Swifties will enjoy “never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage of how we made” the “Ophelia” video plus “cut-by-cut explanations of what inspired this music and brand new lyric videos” from other new album songs.

Tickets are on sale now for AMC Theaters screenings and hundreds of others around the globe. Having dealt with zesty throngs of Swift fans when her Eras Tour film was released theatrically in 2023, AMC says “guests are welcome to sing and dance during” the screenings despite such activities being “normally prohibited during traditional showtime. To help ensure everyone’s enjoyment of the show, guests may not stand on seats or block any aisles or stairs.”

The Life of a Showgirl was produced by Max Martin and Shellback, the Swedish powerhouses who previously contributed to such Swift projects as Red and Reputation. “These guys, they’re just geniuses in different avenues and different ways,” Swift said last month on the New Heights podcast co-hosted by her boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce. “We had so much more dexterity to what we do. It’s almost like we’d all grown up so much. Shellback and I were in our early 20s when we started working together. This was the time when all three of us in the room were carrying the same weight as creators. We knew we had to bring the best ideas we’ve ever had. That effervescence has come through on this record. This is the record I’ve been wanting to make for a very long time — 12 songs for my 12th album.”‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌

Swift has been off the road this year while working on new material and completing the acquisition of the rights to her entire music catalog, which were controversially sold to a third party in 2019. She and Kelce were engaged in late August.

Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl: When and where to watch?

by jummy84 September 19, 2025
written by jummy84

Taylor Swift is bringing her twelfth studio album to the big screen. The pop sensation’s new record, The Life of a Showgirl, drops on Friday, October 3, and she is marking the moment with a short-run film event. Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl will play in theaters nationwide the same day, giving fans just one weekend to catch it.

Taylor Swift is gearing up for the release of her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.(Scott A Garfitt/Invision/AP)

According to Harpers Bazaar, the limited engagement runs from October 3 through October 5. That is three days only – Friday through Sunday – before it disappears from theaters. Swift’s team is pitching it as part movie premiere, part album release, rolled into one experience.

Where to watch it?

AMC Theatres is at the center of the rollout. Swift already made history with them during last year’s Eras Tour concert film, and this marks the second collaboration between the star and the chain. AMC confirmed screenings will start right at showtime.

Tickets are already on sale through AMC’s website. Cinemark is also part of the launch, offering screenings in standard format as well as Cinemark XD. The XD upgrade means giant screens, wall-to-wall sound, and a more immersive setup. Both chains expect heavy demand given Swift’s past box office record.

What is inside the film

The main attraction is the world premiere of the music video for “The Fate of Ophelia,” the lead single from The Life of a Showgirl. Fans will also see behind-the-scenes footage from production, fresh lyric videos, and Swift’s personal reflections on different tracks from the album. The idea is to mix performance, process, and storytelling into one package, Harper’s Bazaar reported.

Why fans are paying attention

For Swifties, the appeal comes down to access. It is the very first look at visuals tied to the new album, all on a theater screen. Unlike The Eras Tour film, this isn’t a concert movie, but a one-off release party built for fans who want to be part of the launch weekend.

And right now, there is no streaming option on the table. If you want in, you will need a ticket and a seat at AMC or Cinemark during those three days. After October 5, it is gone.

At this point, Swift’s playbook is clear: make the album release itself into an event. And if past turnout is any clue, theaters will be packed.

FAQs:

When is Taylor Swift’s release party movie in theaters?

It runs from October 3 to October 5, 2025.

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets are available through AMC and Cinemark’s official websites.

Will there be trailers before the movie?

No. AMC confirmed the event begins right at showtime.

Will Taylor Swift Appear on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ This Season?

by jummy84 September 17, 2025
written by jummy84

She’s about to release her 12th studio album, The Life of a Show Girl, just got engaged to Travis Kelce, and she may or may not be sneaking into Kansas City Chiefs games. Sure, Taylor Swift is busy—but could this be the year we see her in the audience at Dancing With the Stars? A Taylor Swift Dancing With the Stars moment certainly sounds ideal.

Here’s why the speculation makes sense: Jan Ravnik, one of Swift’s backup dancers from the Eras Tour, is making his big DWTS debut tonight for Season 34 on ABC.

Ravnik, who is partnered with Jennifer Affleck from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives this season, has gushed about his time with Swift, writing in a December 2024 Instagram post:

“We’ve created memories, we’ve shared laughs and tears along the way. I am not [the] same person I was 2 years ago and I can easily say these were the best years of my life.”

Instagram content

This content can also be viewed on the site it originates from.

The two clearly built a bond on tour, and what better way to show support than cheering him on from the ballroom?

And let’s not forget—DWTS and Swift already have history. The show hosted a Taylor-themed night during season 32 in 2023, and she even performed on the ballroom stage during Seasons 9, 11, and 15. Imagine Ravnik dancing to one of her songs as she cheers him on from the audience. Swifties would lose it.

Plus, TLOASG drops in less than three weeks, and the timing feels almost too perfect. Swift doesn’t need the exposure, but she does love surprises.

Swifties are already manifesting her presence this season. And if there’s one thing about Swifties, it’s that their manifestations have a way of becoming reality.

Travis Kelce Says He Shed ‘A Few Tears’ Proposing to Taylor Swift

by jummy84 September 15, 2025
written by jummy84

Travis Kelce knows how to ball, and when it comes to life’s joyous, emotional moments, he can bawl, too.

In a preview clip from a new interview for NFL on Fox, he opened up to sports commentator Erin Andrews about his proposal to Taylor Swift. When Andrews asked him about having “dry mouth, the nerves” and how “rattled” he was on that day, he said, “She can tell that story,” but he admitted, “the palms were definitely sweating.”

“I’m an emotional guy,” he continued. “So there were a few tears here and there, but it’s been an exciting, exciting ride up to this day, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her.”

In the full interview, where Kelce also refuted any rumors of him retiring soon, Andrews prefaced their discussion about the proposal by asking how much happier Swift has made the self-proclaimed “happiest guy in the world.” He said, “She has brought excitement and a joy for life that made me a better man, made me a better person, and that made me just that much more comfortable in who I am.”

Andrews also mentioned Swift describing her fiancé as a “human exclamation point” during her appearance on his New Heights podcast on Aug. 13, while asking what he hoped his legacy would be. “That I was a good teammate, I was a good person in the community. I just love what I do,” he responded.

Trending Stories

He added: “I don’t know. I’m not here for any other reasons. I just love coming in, playing football, and giving people something to get excited for outside of their lives on Sundays,” he continued. “Hopefully they can see how much excitement I bring to my life, and they can bring that to others.”

Swift and Kelce announced their engagement on Aug. 26 via a joint post on Instagram after two years of dating. The post featured a carousel of photos of the couple, which was captioned by “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

Taylor Swift Deposition Ruled Off Limits to Justin Baldoni

by jummy84 September 13, 2025
written by jummy84

A federal judge has denied Justin Baldoni’s last-minute bid to depose Taylor Swift as he prepares for an upcoming trial over Blake Lively’s claims she was sexually harassed and retaliated against during the filming of It Ends With Us.

In an order handed down Friday, U.S. District Judge Lewis Liman ruled that Baldoni and his co-defendants at Wayfarer Studios simply waited too long to seek the sit-down and missed their chance. The judge did, however, grant a 10-day extension for Lively to take the depositions of Baldoni and two others. He said the defendants dragged their feet in producing the requested documents, so Lively and her lawyers deserved the extra time to prepare. In the case of Swift, the judge said Baldoni and Wayfarer failed to show “good cause” to justify a similar reprieve.

“The only justification [Baldoni and the Wayfarer parties] have provided for the extension is their assertion that Swift’s preexisting professional obligations now prevent her from appearing for a deposition prior to October 20, 2025,” Judge Liman wrote. “Importantly, however, the Wayfarer parties have provided no discussion of when they began attempting to schedule the deposition. Discovery has been ongoing in this case for approximately six months.”

The judge noted that Baldoni previously requested Swift’s deposition in May 2025 before ultimately withdrawing that subpoena. “They have offered no evidence that they have served a renewed subpoena on Swift. Thus, at most, the Wayfarer parties have demonstrated that scheduling the deposition now presents logistical difficulties; that does not answer the question of why the deposition could not have been conducted earlier,” he wrote. “Having failed to demonstrate appropriate diligence, the requested extension is denied.”

The judge’s order followed after Baldoni’s lawyer, Ellyn S. Garofalo, claimed in a letter to the court filed Thursday that Swift had “agreed” to appear for deposition but was unable to do so before Oct. 20. The letter requested an extension of the Sept. 30 discovery deadline to accommodate Swift’s schedule.

On Friday, Swift’s lawyer stepped into the fray to set the record straight, refuting the claim that his client had agreed to answer questions under oath.

“As counsel for the parties know, since the inception of this matter, we have consistently maintained that my client has no material role in this action,” Swift’s lawyer J. Douglas Baldridge wrote in a letter to the judge filed in Manhattan federal court. He was clear that Swift “did not agree to a deposition,” but if she was “forced,” she had informed Baldoni’s camp that her schedule was too busy to accommodate it before October 20. Baldridge didn’t explain what the conflict was, but Swift has been a little busy lately, getting engaged to Travis Kelce and preparing for the release of her new album, The Life of a Showgirl, set to debut Oct. 3.

Lively, 38, is suing Baldoni, 41, and Wayfarer Studios with claims Baldoni subjected her to “disturbing” sexual harassment during production of It Ends With Us and then engaged in a retaliatory campaign to “eviscerate” her credibility. Lively alleges the harassment included an incident during the filming of a slow dance where no sound was recorded. She says Baldoni improvised a scene where he “leaned forward and slowly dragged his lips from her ear and down her neck as he said, ‘It smells so good.’” Lively alleges Baldoni also tried to add a graphic sex scene where their characters would climax together on their wedding night. She says Baldoni then “intrusively” asked her if she and her husband, the actor Ryan Reynolds, climaxed simultaneously during intercourse.

Swift was initially ensnared in the fight when Baldoni filed a dueling defamation lawsuit against Lively that included claims Swift was present during a pivotal meeting at Lively’s Tribeca penthouse that involved Lively’s efforts to make changes to the movie script.

In a separate response letter filed Friday, before the judge’s ruling, one of Lively’s lawyers blasted Baldoni’s camp for an “astounding” lack of respect for “Swift’s privacy and schedule.” The lawyer urged the court to deny Baldoni’s request for the late deposition.

“The Wayfarer defendants have repeatedly sought to bring Ms. Swift into this litigation to fuel their relentless media strategy. In this latest effort, the Wayfarer defendants assert – though, notably, without evidence – that Ms. Swift has supposedly ‘agreed’ to sit for a deposition sometime between October 20-25, some three weeks after the close of fact discovery in this matter,” Lively’s lawyer Michael J. Gottlieb wrote in his opposition.

“Ms. Swift is someone whose calendar should be presumed to be packed with professional obligations for months in advance,” he continued. “At any point over the past six months, the Wayfarer defendants could have noticed a deposition, served a subpoena, and negotiated an agreeable time and place for this deposition. But they did not. Instead, the Wayfarer Defendants previously noticed Ms. Swift’s deposition in May 2025, accompanied by a barrage of press stories covering the same, only to withdraw that subpoena to much fanfare.”

Gottlieb claimed Baldoni and Wayfarer did “not even attempt to explain their need for [Swift’s] deposition.” He further accused them of trying “to generate a media spectacle in this matter.”

Swift had a very public friendship with Lively prior to the legal war, but they have not been seen together in months. In his court filings, Baldoni claimed that Swift — originally identified only as “megacelebrity” — supported Lively’s edits to the movie script, as did Reynolds. Baldoni said after the penthouse meeting, Lively sent him a text message referring to Swift and Reynolds as her “dragons.” Baldoni said he interpreted the message as a suggestion Lively could tap Swift to “make things very difficult for him.”

“If you ever get around to watching Game of Thrones, you’ll appreciate that I’m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons,” the purported text from Lively read. “For better or worse, but usually better. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So really we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. You will too, I can promise you.”

Back in May, a rep for Swift slammed Baldoni’s initial attempts to subpoena the singer. “Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie, she was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film,” the rep previously told Rolling Stone. The rep said the subpoena was “designed to use Taylor Swift’s name to draw public interest by creating tabloid clickbait instead of focusing on the facts of the case.”

Lively’s battle with Baldoni first made headlines last year when The New York Times published a Dec. 21 story titled “‘We Can Bury Anyone’: Inside a Hollywood Smear Machine.” The story revealed Lively had filed a precursor complaint against Baldoni with the California Civil Rights Department.
