Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend reveals secret for successful relationship

Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend Jim Curtis has revealed the secret to starting a successful relationship.

The 50-year-old transformational coach and master hypnotherapist shared a clip to his Instagram account on Saturday (08.11.25), in which he gave tips for people who fall in love with something that does not exist.

At the start of the clip, Jennifer – who went public with her relationship with him on November 2 – asks: “Hey, Jim. How do I stop falling in love with the idea of someone?”

Smiling as he explains manifestation before going into detail about why remaining in the present is important, Jim replied: “I like this question mostly because the subconscious mind doesn’t know the difference between reality and fantasy.

“So the more you that fantasise about the future that does not currently exist, the more you make it real. This is what manifestation is.

“However, in a relationship, if you’re fantasising about what marriage with kids and a house in the country looks like without paying attention to what’s happening in this present moment, then you’re falling in love with something that doesn’t exist, and you’re probably putting too much attachment on that person.

“So, how do you stop – is looking at exactly what’s happening in the here and now. Stay present and don’t move too far into the future until it happens.”

Romance rumours between Jennifer, 56, and Jim sparked when the pair vacationed together in Mallorca, Spain, during the Fourth of July weekend.

According to MailOnline, The Morning Show actress excitedly introduced Jim – who regularly posts inspirational quotes and “manifestations” to help people find love – to her Horrible Bosses co-star, Jason Bateman, and his wife, former actress Amanda Anka, both 56.

The foursome then enjoyed a yacht trip together.

Following the trip, Jim wrote in his newsletter – without referencing Jennifer – that it was a great experience, and that when he was “sick, sad, stuck and in pain”, Jim did not think he “would have the abundance, joy and love” that he “now experiences on a daily basis”.

In June, Jim and the Friends star were spotted at the five-star Alila Ventana Big Sur hotel in Northern California.

Around this time, Jennifer – who was previously in a relationship with 61-year-old actor Brad Pitt from 2000 until 2005, as well as 54-year-old actor Justin Theroux from 2015 until 2018 – liked Jim’s post that read: “Repeat these affirmations to heal and recover from a divorce, breakup or difficult romance and begin to call in the new empowered, healthy and divine love.”

But it was earlier in November that Jennifer and Jim went Instagram official with their relationship on his birthday – November 2.

Captioning a cute black-and-white photo of the couple sharing a sweet embrace, Jennifer wrote: “Happy birthday, my love. Cherished.”

Whether you believe that love is blind or not, there’s no doubt that this twist on The Dating Game is hard to stop watching. We love shows like Love Is Blind for a reason. For the unfamiliar, single men and women talk to each other from isolation pods without seeing each other until they agree to get engaged, at which point they can actually start dating and meet each other’s families. But anyone who knows the stress of wedding planning can guess what happens from there: fighting, tears, and breakups. So much goes on that sometimes whole other proposals happen we don’t even see onscreen.

Without settling in any way.” Her marriage seems to be going just fine, so maybe it works!

Actor Manoj Bajpayee is not a fan of film producers and studios throwing around box office numbers to promote their titles. The actor, who balances commercial and independent cinema, says this obsession with box office is a monster that will ‘eat up’ its own creators.

The actor is gearing up for the release of Jugnuma, directed by Raam Reddy. The film has earned acclaim worldwide as The Fable and is finally getting a release in Indian theatres this month. Ahead of the release, the National Award winner sits down with Hindustan Times to talk about the state of independent films in the country and the newfound obsession with the box office.

On the box office monster

Over the last few years, box office numbers have turned into promotional tools to leverage buzz for films. Talking about the phenomenon, Manoj says, “It’s a monster that is created by the producers themselves, the commercial producers, for their own game. Very soon, this monster is going to eat you up. You have created Bhasmasura. Just wait for the day you are going to put your hand on your own head, and you will be ruined. This has been created by our own successful people, and one day it will eat them up.”

OTT’s change of stance

Equating box office success with quality has particularly hurt smaller, independent films, as their low collections are now considered a sign of bad quality. Manoj argues, “The small, independent films always experience struggle. Then came a very brief time when OTT had just entered the country, and they were welcoming. But very soon, they changed their stance, and all of them started focusing on mainstream subjects and faces. One feels sad, because I am of the opinion that if you finish independent movement, your cinema will become just a product and nothing more. If the art is taken out, it has no value.”

He gives the example of Amitabh Bachchan, a rare superstar who also did smaller films during the peak of his stardom. “Mr Bachchan has also done a few fabulous (small) films like Abhimaan and Mili. He has done many more. Only Don, after a point, will be boring. He is Mr Bachchan also because of the kind of films he has done earlier in his career,” says the actor.

The struggles of indie films

He mentions OTT platforms, the streaming giants that occupy a large chunk of India’s entertainment space now, and laments that even they have given in to commercial compulsions now. “Everyone who is more interested in making commercial films or buying commercial films knows it’s a gamble. It does not pay off that often. The producers and OTT platforms are more interested in putting their money into that film because the gain is huge. Agar ye tukka lag gaya toh bahut paisa aayega. But mostly lagta nahi hai, kuch hi lucky hote hain jinka lagta hai (If this gamble works, one can earn a lot of money, but it doesn’t happen mostly. It only works for a lucky few.) They are fine with it. But, we are also fine with our own struggles,” says Manoj.

Jugnuma, directed by Raam Reddy, also stars Priyanka Bose, Deepak Dobriyal, and Tillotama Shome. It is releasing in theatres on September 12.

When asked if he had people in his life who supported him before he was successful, the actor got candid about his college friends and his wife standing by him through it all.

Sivakarthikeyan spoke about how his college friends were the first ones to notice he was talented and encouraged him to perform on stage. He said, “My college friends encouraged me to do mimicry and take the stage, saying that I’ll do really well.”

He then stated that Aarthy said yes to marrying him before he even became an actor, stating he’ll always be grateful to her. “And my wife Aarthy, she married me even before I came into cinema. In cinema, people will always find talent to showcase because it’s a business. But without expecting anything, I didn’t even have a proper salary, she said okay to me and thought I could take care of her. I should always be grateful to Aarthy,” said Sivakarthikeyan.

Sivakarthikeyan and Aarthy married in 2010 and have three children.

Sivakarthikeyan’s career

For the unversed, Sivakarthikeyan would perform mimicry and stand-up comedy on stage when he was still in college. In 2006, he took a three-month break from studies to be part of the comedy reality TV show, Kalakka Povathu Yaaru, winning the second season. While the 2008 Ajith Kumar-starrer Aegan was supposed to be his film debut, his portions were cut out.

His debut was in 2012 with the film Marina, and he also played a supporting role in the Dhanush-starrer 3 the same year. His life turned around in 2013 with the box office successes of Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga and Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam. In 2018, Sivakarthikeyan also ventured into film production with Kanaa. Years later, his career changed again when the 2021 and 2022 films Doctor and Don collected over ₹100 crore at the box office.

Sivakarthikeyan was last seen in the 2024 biographical film Amaran, in which he played Major Mukund Varadarajan. The film collected over ₹300 crore worldwide and is his most successful film to date. Apart from Madharaasi, which will be released on 5 September, Sivakarthikeyan will also star in Sudha Kongara’s Parasakthi, which will be his 25th film.
