Aditya Narayan Reflects On Dad Udit Narayan’s Influence On His Parenting Style

Aditya Narayan shared some heartwarming anecdotes about his father, legendary singer Udit Narayan.

Aditya Narayan Reflects On Dad Udit Narayan’s Influence On His Parenting Style

When asked if father and son ever fight while performing together on stage, Aditya laughed and said, “Nahi. Jo bhi dose deni thi na Papa ne mujha wo 18 saal se pehle tak hi de di thi. Show ke baad kabhi kabhi pyaar me bolte the ki ye line galat gaa di but it was lovely for him.”

Fondly recalling his father’s way of balancing love and guidance, Aditya added, “Papa ne bohot balance rakha tha mere saath. Jitna pyaar kiya utna hi samjhaya bhi. Maa baap ki maar me bhi aashirwad hota hai. He’s a gem for me.”

The conversation took a sweet turn when he was asked if he is the same with his own daughter. With a smile, he admitted, “Nahi mai to pighal jata hu. Ab samay bhi to badal gaya hai.”

The exchange beautifully highlighted the warm father-son bond that Aditya cherishes with Udit Narayan, and the softer, more playful parenting style he embraces with his little one.

Knix Activewear Review: Comfort of Activewear With Elevated Style

by jummy84 September 27, 2025

Knix activewear is officially here, and as a shopping editor who tests workout clothes for a living, I was so excited to try its foray into athleisure. Although the brand is best known for its famous period underwear (which our editors have also tested and loved), it’s been venturing further into fitness, swim, and shapewear over the last few years.

This latest launch features a collaboration with singer, actor, and TV personality Nicole Scherzinger, who says the picks speak to her lifestyle: “I’m in my prime. I’ve never been in better shape. I’ve never been stronger–mentally, physically, spiritually. This is my time to create meaningful art. This is the time that I should be working, now more than ever,” Scherzinger said in a release.

The collection includes six pieces, including the Longevity sports bra, the High Touch Hi-Rise Leggings, the CloudCut Studio Joggers, the CloudCut Studio Bomber, the Studio Cutout Bra Top, and the HiTouch High-Rise Shorts; I got to test everything except the latter two. Read on for my full Knix activewear review.

Knix CloudCut Studio Bomber

If there’s only one thing you buy from this drop, I definitely recommend choosing the CloudCut Studio bomber—it was by far my favorite part of the entire collection. Not only is it functional, featuring zipper pockets and lightweight material for layering, but it also combines two hot jacket trends right now: cropped cuts and stand collars. I particularly love the short length because I’m petite, so it works with my proportions more. The overall style is modern and cool, and best of all, it feels amazing. It’s buttery-soft, made of 72% nylon and 28% elastane, with no weird seams or edges sticking out. It also has a hidden elastic hem, allowing you to customize your fit. I’ve been wearing it nonstop, and I would recommend it for everything from the gym to lounging at home.

These Knix joggers are just as soft as the bomber zip-up jacket above, since they’re made of the same fabric, and they’re petite-friendly too. I’m 5’2″, so a lot of joggers will either drag on the floor or have a weird, bunched-up back—but these look so flattering on my frame. When I wear the set together, I feel like I’m walking around wearing silk because it’s so soft. It’s easily the coziest outfit I own, and I’ll be wearing it all fall and winter. I’d recommend wearing these bottoms for travel, lounging, working from home, running errands, or low-impact workouts like yoga.

Knix Longevity Sports Bra

I’m currently training for a 10K, so I typically go on three-to-five-mile runs every week. I rely on functional, supportive sports bras that aren’t too restricting; as someone with a 34C bust size, I need the support but like to feel like I can still move around. Knix’s Longevity Sports Bra is made of 55% nylon and 45% spandex, and has a scoop neckline with crisscross straps in the back. I wore it on a four-mile run, and I found it did a great job of staying in place while wicking away moisture. My runs take me up and down terrain, and there was very little movement to speak of. I wore a small, which it fit true to size with a nice lifting effec, too. Just note that it is very tight when you put it on. I didn’t mind that, though, because it still has some stretch to it. I like that I can wear this to the gym, where I also do cardio and jumping jacks. I recommend this bra for running and other high-impact workouts like HIIT, cardio, and dance.

Knix High Touch Hi-Rise Leggings

I’ve tested so many leggings in my career that I’ve lost count of the number I currently own. This also means I have strong opinions about what makes a great pair of women’s leggings. Depending on the workout, you’ll want a specific type of compression, moisture management, and stretchy fabric, as well as the right length for your frame. (Bonus points if they have extras like pockets and zippers.) I appreciated that these Knix leggings were petite-friendly and true to size. The fabric was sweat-wicking, and the thick high-waist fit is great for movement. However, they had a bit too much compression for my liking, which meant that they were hard to put on and take off. Overall, the leggings are great for high-impact activities like CrossFit and cardio but might be too restrictive to wear for long periods of time.

Here’s How to Style a Puffer Vest, According to Style Editors

Forget a pop of red—why not splash yourself in the color? This tomato-red outfit is on the louder side, sure, but it’s perfect for days in the city or vacations to cold-weather climates, environments where you want to stand out from the crowd. While we love this dramatic hue, it also works for any other shade; fall’s color trends include chocolate brown and rich purple, by the way.

Through a miracle of styling, the down vest here is actually the most fitted part of the look, and we’re obsessed with the effect. On top of providing a little more warmth on frigid days, oversized sweaters and trousers are also especially on-trend right now. (It’s a great excuse to stay comfy, toasty, and current during your next outdoor adventure.) Plus, these two pieces would look great together with or without an extra layer.

Leggings and Trainers Look Chicest In This Shade and Style

by jummy84 September 26, 2025
written by jummy84

When it comes to styling leggings, I’ve found that the difference between looking gym-bound and city-chic comes down to just a couple of smart swaps: the colour of your leggings and the shoes you pair them with.

Take Elsa Hosk’s latest look as an example. Instead of defaulting to black leggings and white trainers, she opted for a chocolate-brown pair and finished them with supple brown suede sneakers.

There’s something inherently expensive-looking about the chocolatey shade’s decadent hue. Rather than blending into the background of an outfit, as black often does, rich cocoa tones bring depth, warmth and a subtle luxury. Add in suede—this season’s most sophisticated trainer update—and suddenly comfort dressing feels surprisingly refined.

Unlike white trainers—which, after seasons of colourful and suede styles dominating the market, feel a little less fresh—light brown suede versions bring comfort with a refined edge. Their deeper hue makes them less prone to visible scuffs, while the rich texture adds a level of dimension and luxury that white leather or fabric styles simply can’t match.

Hosk completed her styling with a light brown trench and a matching leather bag, adding stylish accessories that made her leggings and trainers feel far more intentional.
