Vince Gilligan created a whole Emmy-worthy television world thanks to Breaking Bad and its spinoff, Better Call Saul. But his latest series, Pluribus, is streaming on another platform that’s not AMC — and this one introduces viewers to an extraterrestrial plot in a post-apocalyptic world.

The series, which premiered in November 2025, follows Albuquerque, New Mexico-based author Carol Sturka (Rhea Seehorn), who discovers that she’s one of the last few humans on earth with their own free will. Humanity has been exposed to an alien virus, which has infected people with a peaceful hive mind. Carol and a dozen other people on the planet are immune to it — at least for now — and she has to come to terms with this new earth.

Where to Stream Pluribus

All episodes of Pluribus are available to stream on Apple TV+. The show is still in its debut season, and the finale doesn’t air until December 26, 2025.

Yes! During its first season, Apple gave Pluribus the green light for a second season. In fact, Vince is eager to keep building the show.

During a red carpet interview with Variety, the Breaking Bad creator said he’d “love to see Pluribus go as long as Rhea Seehorn wants it to go.”

“I’m really doing it, as much as anybody, I’m doing it for her,” he pointed out. “At this point, maybe four seasons, I’m guessing, but who the hell knows?”

Things look a little more grim for Leicester, who have lost two on the bounce and are expected to have their cushion over the relegation zone cut by an impending points deduction.

Heated Rivalry centers on two rival pro-hockey players — Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov — whose on-ice rivalry masks a passionate and secret romance. Their story evolves from animosity and competition to a years-long relationship filled with love, denial, and self-discovery.

According to the official synopsis, Shane and Ilya are “bound by ambition, rivalry, and a magnetic pull neither of them fully understands.”

The show is led by Hudson Williams as Shane Hollander, the confident hockey captain of the Montreal Metros, and Connor Storrie as Ilya Rozanov, the fiery Russian star and captain of the Boston Raiders.

The supporting cast includes François Arnaudas fellow player Scott Hunter, alongside Christina Chang and Dylan Walsh as Shane’s parents. Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova appears as Svetlana Vetrova, a figure tied to Ilya’s past, while Sophie Nélisse plays Rose Landry.

In the U.S. and Australia, Heated Rivalry streams on HBO Max. In Canada, the show is available on Crave.

With Thanksgiving around the corner, many are getting into the holiday spirit, but some have a different type of mindset. While several are looking forward to rewatching holiday classics, horror fans are excited to rewatch Thanksgiving, which was released in 2023. The film was highly praised by critics and fans alike after its premiere. 

Per Polygon, the film’s director, Eli Roth, pointed out that scary movies tend to slow down after Halloween season. “The rest of the year was just Christmas and family movies! And I’m Jewish, so Christmas movies don’t really matter to me. I would just have to wait until January or February for the movies to get good again.” He added, “So I wanted to fill the November void. There was a desert with no horror films. I wanted to fill it with a Thanksgiving slasher film.”

Roth also mentioned that the idea for his film came after seeing videos of people fighting over Black Friday sale items. “That’s what made us want to make the movie, thinking, ‘Oh, this is what it’s about: It’s about consumerism run amok.’ It’s this idea of pretending to be thankful, but actually, like, stepping over your neighbor to get an item that’s on sale,” he told the outlet.

Originally envisioned as a deluxe edition of EUSEXUA, twig’s highly acclaimed album released earlier this year (which topped both Consequence’s 30 Best Albums of 2025 So Far), EUSEXUA Afterglow has since evolved into its own body of work, described as a “continuation” with an entirely new tracklist.

With EUSEXUA explained as “a love letter to the techno rave scene and how it can initiate change within,” this new album “expands on the feelings that come after experiencing EUSEXUA, transmuting them into a soundtrack for the hours after the rave and extending that high into the afters,” according to a press release. “Afterglow is a record steeped in the reverence of techno, but the beats now are fractured and derelict, and playful most importantly.”

EESEXUA Afterglow caps a busy 2025 for FKA twigs, during which it was revealed that the artist was cast as the Virgin Mary in the upcoming horror film, The Carpenter’s Son, starring Nicolas Cage as the titular carpenter whose son turns out to be Jesus Christ.

She’s also slated to star as Josephine Baker in an upcoming biopic directed by French filmmaker Maïmouna Doucouré.

Leicester’s Mattioli Arena plays host to the 15th edition of the Champion of Champions.

Sixteen tournament winners from the past year will take to the table at the non-ranking event over the next week in the hope of making it to Sunday’s final.

The competitors are split into four groups, with each group’s fixtures completed in a day and the group winners progressing to Friday and Saturday’s semi-finals.

Ronnie O’Sullivan may be the most decorated player in Champion of Champions history but there is no place for the Rocket at the 2025 event.

That’s not to say the tournament is lacking in stars, however, as Mark Williams returns to defend the 2024 title he won in Bolton 12 months ago, while the likes of Judd Trump, Kyren Wilson, Neil Robertson, and Zhao Xintong are also in action.

The good news for snooker fans is that the whole tournament will be available for free on TV and online.

Kehlani isn’t ready to let a relationship go “Out the Window” on her new single that dropped on Friday (Nov. 7) via Atlantic Records.

She resurrects that old school R&B feel even on the “Out the Window” cover art, which was shot by photographer Markus Klinko, who also did the cover of Beyoncé’s 2003 debut album Dangerously in Love, Kelis’ 2003 album Tasty, Mariah Carey’s 2005 album The Emancipation of Mimi and Mary J. Blige’s 2005 album The Breakthrough.

“Out the Window” arrives five months after “Folded,” which became Kehlani’s first top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and first No. 1 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot R&B Songs this week (charts dated Nov. 8). They performed “Folded” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this week. And while they got Toni Braxton, Brandy, JoJo, Mario, Ne-Yo and Tank on the “Folded” remixes for the Homage Pack, Kehlani has also collaborated with Cardi B (“Safe” from Am I the Drama?), Mariah Carey (“Sugar Sweet” also with Shenseea from Here I Am), Leon Thomas (“Dirt on My Shoes” from Mutt Deluxe: Heel) and kwn (“Worst Behaviour” from With All Due Respect) this year.

While talking to her five-year-old daughter, Adeya Nomi Parrish Young-White, during a recent Billboard Family interview, Kehlani revealed they’re working on a new album “coming next year.” Kehlani released their last studio album, Crash, in 2024. It earned a best progressive R&B album nomination at the Grammys this year.

Kehlani will be honored Wednesday, Nov. 12, at the 17th annual ASCAP Women Behind the Music in Los Angeles.
