In India, Baahubali: The Epic is expected to create a festival-like atmosphere when it hits the screens on October 31, 2025. Trade experts are confident that the collections could touch a massive Rs 50 crore lifetime gross during this special re-release window. The craze for Baahubali: The Epic isn’t just limited to India. In the USA too, the Rajamouli directorial is witnessing historic demand. The film’s advance sales have already touched $300,000 despite being a limited release. Industry trackers predict that the re-release is well on its way to becoming the first-ever movie to gross $1 million overseas. the enthusiasm only reaffirms the global love for the Baahubali franchise.
The buzz for Baahubali: The Epic is so huge that even new films are reshuffling their release plans. Notably, the release of Ravi Teja’s upcoming film Mass Jathara was postponed by a day to – from October 31 to November 1. The move clearly indicates that filmmakers do not want to clash with Baahubali given the film’s rage. The fact that Prabhas became a superstar and a phenomenon only adds to the film’s buzz. Directed by Aidan Zamiri and co-written by Zamiri and Bertie Brandes, The Moment is set to release in 2026 and promises a bold, pop-centric narrative. The story follows a rising pop star navigating the pressures of fame and the demands of preparing for her first arena tour — a fitting theme given Kylie’s own experience with public life and the entertainment industry.
This marks Kylie Jenner’s first scripted acting role outside of her reality TV fame in Keeping Up with the Kardashians and The Kardashians. Though she had a brief cameo as herself in the 2018 heist-comedy Ocean’s 8, The Moment is her first significant acting venture.
Kylie joins a star-studded ensemble cast including Rachel Sennott, Kate Berlant, and Charli XCX herself. The supporting cast features Alexander Skarsgård, Rosanna Arquette, Jamie Demetriou, Hailey Benton Gates, Trew Mullen, and Shygirl, among others. A.G. Prince William and Kate stepped out yesterday at London’s Natural History Museum. They were checking out the newly “transformed” gardens. While the big news was obviously Kate’s terrible wig, W&K actually had a prearranged photo-op set up. They had a group of kids taken out of school so that William and Kate could pose with some minority youths. Before the staged photo-op could happen, the heavens opened up and torrential rain came pouring down on all the king’s wiglets. Luckily, Kate and William had separate umbrellas. Unfortunately, the children did not. Kate and William did not offer to shelter any of the kids under their umbrellas either, leaving several of the kids screaming bloody murder as their clothes, hair and skin got soaked in the downpour.

This is so awful. The still photos are awful too. It’s not like the kids were completely panicked, but they were definitely upset. I would imagine that the kids’ parents are probably pretty upset too, especially when they see the photos and videos of their children being left out in a torrential downpour while a princess with an umbrella and a cheap wig smiles furiously, desperately trying to save the photo-op.

True story: I grew up in San Francisco close enough to the beach that there were signs on my street that read TSUNAMI EVACUATION ROUTE. Of course SF is primely situated on the Ring of Fire, home to 90% of the world’s earthquakes (which set off tsunamis). All that to say, I had plenty of school drills growing up for taking cover during a quake, but very little instruction on how to prepare for a thunder/lightning storm. One woman in Kentucky just learned the hard way that you should not use electrical appliances if your home is right in the thick of a lightning storm, and she’s sharing her story so other unenlightened folks (like yours truly) don’t suffer the same injuries she has. Last week Shelby Moore was getting dinner together for her three kids, when lightning struck the house at the exact moment she was pulling the microwave door open. The electrocution was so strong that she couldn’t remove her hand until the electricity was off, and she’s since had to miss work due to nerve and muscle damage.
A woman says she suffered a serious injury after touching her microwave at the exact moment her home was struck by lightning during a thunderstorm.
Shelby Miller of Louisville, Ky., was preparing dinner for herself and her kids the evening of Tuesday, Aug. 19, when the scary incident occurred, according to local news outlet WAVE.
The mom of three recalled that she reached for the appliance as usual when she was electrocuted.
“Next thing you know, my microwave is going off, I’m pulling the door open, and I’m being electrocuted,” she told the outlet in a video interview. “I couldn’t even let go of the microwave. My hand was stuck there until all electricity was shut off.”
“Once I was able to pull my hand away, I put ice on it immediately, and I felt tingling and numbness,” she added.
Shelby rushed to the emergency room at Norton Audubon Hospital, where tests revealed she had nerve and muscle damage to her left arm — and is now at risk of having a heart attack.
“I’m nervous,” she told WAVE. “I wasn’t expecting that I was gonna have to call off work for an injury. I wasn’t expecting to have any nerve damage in my arm. I use my arms at work […] so that really worries me.”
She continued, “How long am I going to be out of work? Is there going to be severe damage? Am I going to gain feeling back in my arm? I was told that I should, within a few hours, start to feel my hand again. The only thing that I feel is the numbness and the tingling. It started in my hand, and it slowly worked its way up.”
Shelby said she decided to share her story in the hopes that it might help spread awareness of the dangers of using electrical appliances during thunderstorms.
“You don’t think that you can’t use your home appliances during a storm,” she explained. “I was always told, ‘Don’t get in the shower during a thunderstorm.’ I didn’t know that I couldn’t prepare a meal for me and my family.”
“I know that, from now on, I’m going to unplug everything when I know a storm is coming,” she added.
Egads! I’m thinking back to all the storms I’ve weathered living in NYC where I blithely noted lightning flashes out the window, all the while lounging inside with the lights, TV, and probably a fan if not the AC on. My heart goes out to Shelby, especially after watching her in the local news segment. Her anxiety over not being able to work was palpable — as mine would be given the current state of government disaster relief. (And yet Martha Stewart is in fighting form despite thrice being struck…) The National Weather Service is a great resource for what to do during a lightning storm. I found their “Myths and Facts” page particularly helpful, if a bit blunt at times, “You are NOT safe anywhere outdoors.” And indoors, definitely do not run or touch anything in the house that can conduct electricity, and stay away from the windows as lightning can come in through cracks. Be safe out there, bitches!

Spaghetti models have shown that Erin wouldn’t make landfall anywhere on the East Coast, but on August 14, meteorologists announced that Erin had a slight shift eastward. At 5 a.m. ET that morning, the system in the Atlantic Ocean was about 860 miles east of the Northern Leeward Islands with maximum sustained winds of 50 miles per hour, an increase from 45 miles per hour earlier this week.
By August 16, forecasters maintained that Erin was not expected to make landfall on the East Coast of the U.S.. However, the storm would create dangerous surfing and swimming conditions for coastal communities.
By August 21, Erin became a category 2 storm and caused a surge in seawater near South Carolina’s Outer Banks.
The NHC advised that Erin could move close enough to the northern Leeward Islands, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico to have some impact, but it’s still unclear how much of a potential impact Erin could produce.
California Governor Gavin Newsom announced that he was sending assistance to Puerto Rico ahead of the hurricane.
