On the morning of October 19, 2025, the Louvre Museum in Paris became the scene of a shocking daylight heist when a group of masked thieves broke into the Galerie d’Apollon and stole priceless jewels from the French Crown collection. The robbers entered through a window near ongoing renovations, smashed display cases, and vanished within minutes — leaving behind chaos, damage, and global disbelief.

Authorities have since launched a full investigation as experts question how such a high-security institution could be breached so swiftly.

Who Are the Louvre Thieves?

French investigators believe a small team of three to four experienced thieves carried out the robbery using a truck-mounted lift to access a side window before museum hours. Security experts say the precision of the operation—from timing to escape—suggests the work of a professional art-crime network rather than opportunistic burglars.

What Did the Thieves Take from the Louvre?

Officials confirmed that nine pieces of jewelry were stolen from the French Crown collection, including items once belonging to Empress Eugénie de Montijo. The jewels include a diamond diadem, gold brooches, and an emerald-studded crown that was later recovered but damaged near the museum’s perimeter.

Laurent Nuñez, France’s interior minister, said to France Inter radio, “They stole jewels which have a real heritage value, an inestimable heritage value.”

Have the Thieves Been Caught?

As of now, no arrests have been made. Authorities are analyzing surveillance footage, tracking cell signals, and coordinating with Interpol to trace possible escape routes. French officials say the suspects acted “calmly and with clear knowledge of the building,” fueling speculation that the group had inside help or prior access to restricted areas.

With the high-profile nature of the theft, the case is being treated as one of the most audacious museum robberies in recent European history.

Was the Louvre Museum Robbed Before?

Yes. The most famous example is the 1911 theft of Mona Lisa by former museum employee Vincenzo Peruggia, who entered disguised as a worker and made off with the painting.

More recently, a painting titled Le chemin de Sèvres was stolen from the Louvre in 1998, marking the last major documented theft prior to 2025.

“They need you on these jobs.” Vertical and Voltage Pictures have unveiled an official trailer for an action thriller movie titled Stolen Girl, arriving to watch later this month. Another one of these super obviously, poorly shot, entirely cliche action movies being dumped VOD soon. Though someone will inevitably say it’s a good movie anyway. To top it off, it’s directed by a TV director who has barely ever done any action or any real feature films before. Is he the only they could get to make this junk? Supposedly based on a true story, an American woman spends more than ten years tracking down her daughter who was abducted and taken to the Middle East by the child’s father. Their big mission takes them to Beirut, where they’re pulled into a treacherous web of international espionage, betrayal, and corruption. Stolen Girl stars Kate Beckinsale, Scott Eastwood, Jordan Duvigneau, Matt Craven, & Arvin Kananian. This looks as terrible as any movie can – and it looks like blatant propaganda to always keep people afraid of “others”. Avoid at all costs.

Beyonce Hard Drives Stolen From Dancer’s Car Leads to Atlanta Arrest

The materials that the musician’s choreographer and dancer said were stolen from a Jeep Wagoneer rental in Atlanta during the Cowboy Carter tour have not been recovered

The Atlanta Police Department has made an arrest in connection to a car robbery in which hard drives containing unreleased music and tour plans from Beyoncé were reportedly stolen. The theft occurred when the Cowboy Carter tour arrived in the city for four dates in July. Choreographer Christopher Grant and singer Diandre Blue reported having two suitcases stolen from a Jeep Wagoneer rental, which contained “personal sensitive information for the musician Beyonce.”

The suspect, Kelvin Evans, was taken into custody and booked into the Fulton Country Jail on Aug. 26 and charged with Entering Automobile or Other Motor Vehicle With Intent to Commit Theft or Felony. Evans has not yet been released and the Atlanta Police Department reports that “the stolen items have not been recovered at this time.”

In a 911 call released by the Atlanta Police Department, Grant said, “They have my computers, and it’s really, really important information in there. I work with someone who’s like of a high status, and I really need my computer and everything. On July 15, about a week after the incident occurred, a representative for the police department noted that no camera footage pertaining to the theft would be released.

According to the call, Grant and Blue reported that the window to the trunk of the Wagoneer had been smashed. Light fingerprints were lifted from the scene, an incident report revealed, and auto larceny investigators flagged a vehicle in the area based on available information. An arrest warrant for a suspect was issued on July 14.

Despite the incident, the Cowboy Carter tour continued as planned. Beyoncé completed four sold-out shows at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The tour wrapped about two weeks later in Las Vegas. “The three hours of Beyoncé felt nonstop as she ran through almost the entirety of Cowboy Carter during the set,” Rolling Stone wrote in a review of the tour opener. “Everything from the show seemed calculated and measured to perfection, leaving little space for Beyoncé to break from the plan. It was a theatrical spectacle that, once again, put Bey in a league of her own.”
