‘Steal This Story, Please’ Review: Amy Goodman Documentary

by jummy84 April 9, 2026
written by jummy84

“Democracy Now!” is not a program you seek out when you’re on the fence about the issues. The daily nonprofit radio show, now entering its four decade on both the real and digital airwaves, is as unapologetically progressive as they come. Host and producer Amy Goodman and her team of reporters clearly subscribe to a worldview that the world is divided into a battle between oppressors and those they oppress, and their aggressive lines of questioning are catnip for an audience that believes the mainstream media is too centrist. It’s less a place for arguments and debates than a team headquarters that tirelessly tries to advance a cause.

Fatih Akin, Diane Kruger at the “Amrum” Photocall during The 78th Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals on May 16, 2025 in Cannes, France.

It’s unsurprising, then, that the new documentary about Goodman plays like more of a greatest hits compilation than a serious attempt at capturing the essence of a person. Carl Deal and Tia Lessin’s “Steal This Story, Please!” recaps Goodman’s entire career, from her famous interview with then-President Bill Clinton in which she criticized him for passing NAFTA and “shifting the Democratic Party to the right” to her subsequent protests of the Bush and Trump administrations and her unwavering support of Palestine since October 7th.

Much like “Democracy Now!,” which does not accept advertisers and survives on donations from foundations and individual viewers, “Steal This Story, Please!” is a grassroots effort. The filmmakers are self-distributing the film this spring following a festival run that began at Telluride, and the audience will be overwhelmingly comprised of Goodman’s politically engaged fans. The film’s content suggests that Deal and Lessin are primarily focused on rallying the true believers to get even more involved, not converting anyone to Goodman’s worldview.

Given those parameters, it’s hard to imagine the film not succeeding at its goals. “Steal This Story, Please!” is a profile in courage, presenting Goodman as an unrelenting voice of the voiceless who is never afraid to get arrested or make an enemy in her pursuit of telling her truth. Her career is filled with the kinds of on-the-ground adventures that should inspire plenty of wide-eyed journalism students who haven’t yet realized how much of the job is just staring at laptop screens. Anyone looking for permission to protest, organize, and get their hands dirty for the things they believe in will likely leave the screenings feeling invigorated.

But the components that make “Steal This Story, Please!” a useful activism tool also turn it into an underwhelming piece of art. The film is only interested in portraying Goodman as an unambiguous hero, robbing us of the chance to explore the nuances of a complicated person who has participated in decades of history. There’s not much room to explore how Goodman has evolved, if she ever got something wrong, or express any critical thought about how her bomb-throwing approach fits into the media ecosystem.

There’s no denying that we’re living through dark times, and saying that a journalist subscribes to a simple Good vs. Evil worldview is less damning of an accusation than it would have been 15 years ago. But given how ideologically motivated Goodman is, her story could have been better told by a filmmaker with less interest in adding their thumb to the scale. A less fawning portrait of Goodman could have still reached the same progressive conclusions while giving us a better understanding of what makes her tick and why she continues to survive in a media landscape that never stops evolving. Instead, we’re left to try and fill in those gaps ourselves.

But “Steal This Story, Please!” is the kind of film that has no problem sacrificing artistic merit if it means inspiring a few more people to get out and protest. It’s not a coincidence that Deal and Lessin are rolling it out in the months leading up to a crucial set of midterm elections in America, and the only fair way to grade such a mission-based film is to see how much it helps accomplish its goals. On that front, we’ll all have to nervously wait a few months before we can deliver a proper verdict.

Grade: C+

“Steal This Story, Please” opens at IFC Center in New York on Friday, April 10 and in Los Angeles on April 17, with a national expansion to follow.

The first-look images from the heist thriller, Steal have been unveiled. It stars Sophie Turner of the Game of Thrones fame along with Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, and Archie Madekwe among others. Steal follows an ordinary office worker, Zara (Sophie) who finds herself at the heart of the heist. A typical workday at a pension fund investment company, Lochmill Capital, is upended when a gang of violent thieves burst in and force Zara and her best mate Luke (Archie Madekwe) to execute their demands.
But who would steal billions of pounds of ordinary people’s pensions and why? DCI Rhys (Jacob Fortune-Lloyd) is determined to find out, but as a recently relapsed gambling addict, Rhys must keep his own money problems at bay while dealing with the secret agendas and competing interests at the Centre of this far-reaching crime.
Take a look at the photos:

The series comes from executive producers Greg Brenman and Rebecca De Souza, and producer Nuala O’Leary. Amazon MGM Studios is producing alongside Drama Republic. All six episodes of Steal will be available on January 21, 2026, on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Meanwhile, Sophie Turner will also be seen as Lara Croft in the new Tomb Raider series. Talking about it, the actress had earlier expressed her excitement over and said she had massive shoes to fill as Angelina Jolie and Alicia Vikander played the same character before her. Sophie shared, “I am thrilled beyond measure to be playing Lara Croft. She’s such an iconic character, who means so much to so many – and I am giving everything I’ve got. They’re massive shoes to fill, following in the steps of Angelina (Jolie) and Alicia (Vikander) with their powerhouse performances, but with Phoebe at the helm, we (and Lara) are all in very safe hands. I can’t wait for you all to see what we have cooking.”

Janice Combs Blasts Claim She Helped Diddy Steal Ownership Of Bad Boy

by jummy84 November 6, 2025
written by jummy84

Janice Combs — the 84-year-old mother of embattled hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs — is pushing back hard against fresh legal claims tying her to her son’s decades-old business dealings.

Now going by the name Janice Smalls, she has filed a motion asking a judge to dismiss former Bad Boy Entertainment executive Kirk Burrowes’ lawsuit, which accuses her of helping Diddy forcibly obtain Burrowes’ 25% ownership stake in the label back in 1996.

According to AllHipHop, Smalls insists she had no involvement whatsoever in the alleged incident or in the negotiations surrounding Burrowes’ stake in Bad Boy.

The lawsuit also names Diddy’s longtime attorney Kenneth Meiselas as a co-defendant. Smalls’ filing notes that she hasn’t resided in New York since 2012 and has been residing in Florida, distancing herself geographically and personally from the claims.

Burrowes originally brought similar allegations two decades ago, filing a 2003 lawsuit against the incarcerated mogul and Meiselas in which he alleged that he had been forced to sign over his stake under the perceived threat of being beaten with a baseball bat.

That case was dismissed in 2006, when a judge ruled that the statute of limitations had expired. Burrowes’ new complaint seeks to revive those long-settled accusations by tying Smalls to the alleged scheme — a connection she flatly denies.

Adding to her legal troubles, Smalls was also mentioned earlier this year in a $33 million federal RICO complaint filed by former Diddy associate Deon “D1” Best, who accused her of helping steal his intellectual property rights, royalties, and publishing revenue.

The suit specifically referenced the 1998 Godzilla soundtrack hit “Come With Me”, claiming Best “controlled, owned, produced and/or created” the song before the rights were allegedly taken. That lawsuit, however, was dismissed without prejudice in September.

For now, Smalls’ motion to dismiss Burrowes’ latest filing is awaiting a judicial ruling.

Enrique Iglesias’ Concert In Mumbai Is A Night To Remember: ‘Bailamos’ And ‘Hero’ Steal The Show | Glamsham.com

Global pop sensation Enrique Iglesias made a spectacular comeback to India this week, performing two consecutive sold-out concerts at Mumbai’s MMRDA Grounds on October 29 and 30. The performances, part of his ongoing world tour, marked his first appearance in the country since 2012 — a return fans had been waiting over a decade for.

For those who grew up listening to his music, the nights were filled with nostalgia and emotion. Enrique delivered a hit-packed setlist featuring classics like Bailamos, Escape, Hero, and Be With You, as the audience sang along to every lyric. During Hero, he paused mid-performance to let the crowd take over, smiling warmly and greeting fans with a heartfelt “Namaste.” The connection between the singer and his Indian fans was electric, transforming the arena into a sea of voices and memories.

In a surprise moment, Enrique playfully introduced the iconic beat of Panjabi MC’s “Mundian Tu Bach Ke Rahi”, sending the crowd into a frenzy before shifting smoothly into his next number. While his vocals occasionally showed the wear of time, his charisma, energy, and sincerity more than compensated. Sharing memories of his first India visit in 2004, Enrique’s reminiscence drew loud cheers from long-time followers.

The audience also included several Bollywood celebrities — among them Malaika Arora, Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, Sonal Chauhan, and Pragya Jaiswal — all seen dancing and singing along to his timeless hits.

For over an hour, Enrique’s show felt less like a typical concert and more like an emotional reunion, uniting generations through music. Even without flawless vocals, his warmth and connection made the night unforgettable — a celebration of memories, melody, and enduring love from Indian fans.

Nobody Wants This Season 2: A deep dive into every character’s wardrobe and how to steal the look

by jummy84 October 29, 2025
written by jummy84

If there’s one thing Nobody Wants This Season 2 gets right, apart from the chaos of love, life, and late-night oversharing, it’s the fashion. Every character’s wardrobe feels like an extension of their personality: it is raw, witty, sometimes confused, but always interesting.

Adam Brody and Kristen Bell in the second season of Nobody Wants This.(HT)

From Joanne’s crisp essentials to Morgan’s Gen Z cool and Esther’s unapologetic prints, the show’s outfits mirror its messy, modern, and occasionally existential charm. Let’s decode every character’s style and how you can recreate their vibe without needing a Netflix-level budget.

1. Joanne Williams: The effortlessly put-together minimalist

Nobody Wants This Season 2: A deep dive into every character’s wardrobe(Instagram)
Nobody Wants This Season 2: A deep dive into every character’s wardrobe(Instagram)

Joanne’s wardrobe is basically what you’d get if French-girl chic moved to L.A. and discovered emotional depth. These can include crisp white shirts, structured trousers, neutral turtlenecks, and perfectly worn-in jeans. Everything looks intentional, but never fussy.

Her palette sticks to soft neutrals including beige, black, off-white, with the occasional pop of mustard or butter yellow. It’s quiet confidence, bottled into clothes.

Recreate her look:

Start with tailored basics: clean button-down, high-waist trousers, and a fitted tee. Layer with a cropped leather jacket or a wool blazer. Keep accessories minimal, a chunky watch, small gold hoops, and sneakers.

Style tip:

Joanne’s secret is balance. If the outfit is structured, keep the hair soft. If you’re doing sharp tailoring, add a casual accessory. She’s proof that less really can look like more.

2. Morgan Williams: The cool girl in controlled chaos

Nobody Wants This Season 2: A deep dive into every character’s wardrobe(Instagram)

Morgan’s style is equal parts rebellion and trend forecasting. She’s the younger sister who shops vintage, mixes textures fearlessly, and somehow makes a suede co-ord work with chunky sneakers.

Her wardrobe thrives on contrast, a cropped argyle vest with wide-leg pants, leather shorts with an oversized shearling jacket, or a slinky top paired with track pants. She’s living proof that comfort and confidence can coexist.

Recreate her look:

Raid your wardrobe for something unexpected, that sequin top you never wear? Pair it with slouchy jeans. Try a cropped sweater over a flowy dress. Morgan’s looks are about intuition, not perfection.

Style tip:

Keep one piece bold and the rest chill. The magic lies in mismatching, suede with denim, shimmer with sneakers, leather with fleece. Controlled chaos never looked so cool.

3. Esther Williams: The bold-print mom redefining comfort

Nobody Wants This Season 2: A deep dive into every character’s wardrobe(Instagram)

Esther’s style evolution this season deserves applause. She’s ditched safe neutrals for playful prints, cosy knits, and denim that means business. Picture leopard-print cardigans, patterned scarves, and those easy slide-on shoes that somehow still look chic.

Her clothes reflect a woman rediscovering herself, comfortable, expressive, and quietly rebellious.

Recreate her look:

Mix a bold print with your most lived-in jeans or linen trousers. Add gold hoops or a bold lip to make it feel deliberate. Esther’s style is proof that “comfortable” doesn’t have to mean “boring.”

Style tip:

Balance boldness with basics. If your cardigan is loud, keep the rest muted. And don’t be afraid to experiment because the best looks often come from not overthinking it.

4. Sasha Williams: The laid-back hubby

Nobody Wants This Season 2: A deep dive into every character’s wardrobe(Instagram)
Nobody Wants This Season 2: A deep dive into every character’s wardrobe(Instagram)

Sasha’s style is what happens when a tech nerd discovers good tailoring. It is quietly impressive, unintentionally cool, and endearingly awkward in the best way. His wardrobe this season leans into warm layers, knitted vests, soft shirts, and corduroy trousers, the kind that make you want to discuss documentaries over coffee. It is old-school academic meets modern-day understated chic.

Recreate his look:

Start with earthy tones such as rust, oatmeal, olive, navy. Go for textured fabrics: wool vests, cord pants, or flannel shirts layered under a casual blazer. Add clear-frame glasses or a knitted beanie for that signature Sasha sincerity.

Style tip:

It’s all about proportions. Since Sasha’s tall, his style balances length with softness, these include loose cardigans instead of stiff jackets, or wide-leg trousers instead of skinny fits.

5. Noah Roklov: The modern traditionalist

Nobody Wants This Season 2: A deep dive into every character’s wardrobe(Pinterest)
Nobody Wants This Season 2: A deep dive into every character’s wardrobe(Pinterest)

Noah’s wardrobe is all about quiet restraint, an understated blend of modern tailoring and modest classics. Expect well-fitted sweaters, clean shirts, and structured jackets that lean more intellectual than influencer.

He’s the guy who makes minimalism feel soulful; his outfits don’t need flash because the fit and simplicity do the talking.

Recreate his look:

Stick to classic shades such as navy, grey, camel and invest in high-quality basics like a merino wool sweater or a good overcoat. Keep it simple but intentional.

Style tip:

If you’re wearing muted tones, play with layering, a shirt under a sweater, a structured coat over a casual top. It adds depth without needing colour.

6. Andy: The polished professional with a soft edge

Nobody Wants This Season 2: A deep dive into every character’s wardrobe(Instagram)
Nobody Wants This Season 2: A deep dive into every character’s wardrobe(Instagram)

Andy’s look blends crisp tailoring with warmth, literally and emotionally. His wardrobe revolves around well-cut shirts, muted suits, and subtle details that soften the sharpness, like rolled sleeves or a relaxed collar.

He’s practical but not plain, professional but approachable, a reminder that personal style doesn’t have to mean loud dressing.

Recreate his look:

Pair neutral shirts (white, sand, grey) with tailored trousers or chinos. Add texture through accessories such as a wool scarf, leather loafers, or even a knit tie.

Style tip:

Andy’s formula? Keep it simple, then break it slightly. Button-down, yes but maybe with sleeves rolled and the top button open. Effortless sophistication.

The wardrobes in Nobody Wants This Season 2 tell stories. Each outfit is a mood board of emotion, evolution, and identity. So, the next time you’re stuck in a style rut, take a cue from this cast. Dress like Joanne when you need structure, Morgan when you want fun, Esther when you crave boldness, Sasha when you want laidback confidence, Noah for quiet power, and Andy for easy charm.

Gilmore Girls style diaries: Cosy outfits to steal for your fall season wardrobe

by jummy84 October 24, 2025
written by jummy84

Imagine a crisp autumn morning in Stars Hollow: the air smells like freshly brewed coffee, leaves crunch under your boots, and someone’s playing “la-la” music in the background. You’re wearing a chunky knit sweater, holding your third cup of coffee, and debating whether to binge-watch Gilmore Girls or head out for a bookstore run. If that scene feels like your ultimate fall fantasy, then you’re most welcome to the world of Gilmore Girls fashion. Long before “quiet luxury” or “cosycore” became social media trends, Lorelai and Rory Gilmore were already masters of effortless, lived-in style. They mastered soft layers, neutral palettes, vintage flair, and a little Y2K nostalgia mixed with small-town charm.

So grab your pumpkin spice latte, and follow tips on how to channel the ultimate Gilmore Girls fall aesthetic this season.

1. Lorelai Gilmore: The queen of coffee and casual cool

Gilmore Girls style diaries: Cosy outfits to steal for your fall season wardrobe(Pinterest)
Gilmore Girls style diaries: Cosy outfits to steal for your fall season wardrobe(Pinterest)

No one does laid-back chic quite like Lorelai Gilmore. Her style screams personality, a perfect blend of comfort, colour, and charisma. Her wardrobe includes graphic tees, leather jackets, wrap coats and turtlenecks, her look is never boring, never overdone.

She’s the kind of woman who can wear a band tee with a pencil skirt and make it look effortlessly stylish. Her outerwear game, especially those long coats, was peak early-2000s fashion goals.

Steal the look:

Go for fitted jeans, chunky knits, and long coats in jewel tones. Add a fun tee, heeled boots, and of course, a mug of coffee as your key accessory. Go for the cosy, confident, and a little chaotic vibe, like you just woke up late but still look amazing.

2. Rory Gilmore: Academia chic before it was a trend

Gilmore Girls style diaries: Cosy outfits to steal for your fall season wardrobe(Pinterest)
Gilmore Girls style diaries: Cosy outfits to steal for your fall season wardrobe(Pinterest)

Before Pinterest boards labeled it “dark academia”, Rory Gilmore was already living the look, complete with plaid skirts, cardigans, knee-high socks, and stacks of books.

Her outfits evolved from sweet schoolgirl charm at Chilton to polished Yale collegiate style such as blazers, cable-knit sweaters, and turtlenecks layered just right. She’s the blueprint for cosy, bookish fashion that never goes out of style.

Steal the look:

Layer a button-down under a sweater vest, pair with plaid skirts or straight jeans, and add loafers or ankle boots. Accessorise with a tote bag, minimal makeup, and soft curls or just pretend you’re running late to class but still look put-together.

3. Luke Danes: The unintentional lumberjack aesthetic

Gilmore Girls style diaries: Cosy outfits to steal for your fall season wardrobe(Pinterest)
Gilmore Girls style diaries: Cosy outfits to steal for your fall season wardrobe(Pinterest)

Okay, hear us out, Luke might not care about fashion, but that’s exactly why his look works. His flannel shirts, worn-in jeans, and baseball caps define cosy small-town fall vibes. It’s the kind of “I didn’t try” outfit that somehow always looks good, especially when you’re on your fifth cup of coffee.

Steal the look:

Plaid flannels, denim jackets, and rugged boots are your essentials. Add a neutral beanie or cap, and don’t forget that “too busy for trends” attitude. Bonus points for carrying a takeaway coffee cup because Luke would approve.

4. Emily Gilmore: Elegance, pearls, and perfectly pressed coats

Gilmore Girls style diaries: Cosy outfits to steal for your fall season wardrobe(Pinterest)
Gilmore Girls style diaries: Cosy outfits to steal for your fall season wardrobe(Pinterest)

If Lorelai is chaos and coffee, Emily Gilmore is control and couture. Her fall wardrobe could teach a masterclass in quiet sophistication such as tailored blazers, pearls, and luxurious fabrics that whisper wealth and refinement. She’s all about old-money elegance with a no-nonsense edge.

Even her casual days (if you can call them that) featured cashmere sweaters, silk scarves, and coordinated accessories. Emily’s look is proof that sophistication never goes out of style, it just gets better with time.

Steal the look:

Opt for structured coats, monochrome outfits, and classic accessories such as pearls, silk scarves, or a statement brooch. Choose neutrals or jewel tones, keep your hair polished, and walk like you’re about to host a Friday night dinner you’ll secretly judge everyone at.

5. Paris Geller: Structured, smart, and sharp

Gilmore Girls style diaries: Cosy outfits to steal for your fall season wardrobe(Pinterest)
Gilmore Girls style diaries: Cosy outfits to steal for your fall season wardrobe(Pinterest)

Paris Geller might be intense, but her wardrobe deserves an A+. Her looks are all about precision these include tailored blazers, crisp shirts, and sophisticated silhouettes that scream “I have a plan.”

She embodies the kind of fall fashion that’s chic without being loud, perfect for when you want to look like you mean business.

Steal the look:

Opt for structured blazers, monochrome outfits, and ankle boots. Add a classic handbag and minimal jewelry. It’s giving I-run-the-debate-club energy, smart, sleek, and secretly stylish.

Wardrobe must-haves for the Stars Hollow Fall Starter Pack:

  • A knit sweater in a neutral tone (preferably oversized)
  • A flannel shirt that looks better every time you wear it
  • Ankle boots or loafers
  • A long trench coat for dramatic coffee runs
  • A bookstore tote bag
  • And of course, a coffee cup that never leaves your hand

Two decades later, Gilmore Girls still feels like a warm hug and its fashion plays a big part in that. Each outfit told a story of comfort, confidence, and caffeine-fueled chaos. So this fall, instead of chasing the newest trend, take a cue from the Gilmores. Be it if you’re dressing like Lorelai’s cool chaos, Rory’s quiet academia, or Emily’s timeless polish, there’s a Gilmore inside every fall wardrobe.

Season 28 Battle Rounds Part 3 Feature Snoop Dogg’s Steal and More

by jummy84 October 21, 2025
written by jummy84

The Monday, October 20, episode of The Voice featured Night 3 of the Battle Rounds. Coaches Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, and Michael Bublé had tough decisions to make after watching more of their artists go head-to-head in duet performances.

The contestants were advised by Lizzo (Team Snoop), Nick Jonas (Team Reba), Lewis Capaldi (Team Niall), and Kelsea Ballerini (Team Bublé) before taking the stage for their Battles. Heading into Night 3, Horan still had his Save, while Snoop and Bublé each had a Steal.

Scroll down for a recap of the performances and to find out who the coaches chose, as well as where the teams stand heading into the final night of Battles before the Knockout Round.

Here’s where the teams stand after three nights of Battle Rounds:

Lauren Anderson vs. Makenzie Phipps (Team Snoop)

Lauren Anderson and Makenzie Phipps kicked off the show with a performance of “Before He Cheats” by Carrie Underwood. Horan called it a “good, old school, Voice Battle.”

Griffin Nagel/NBC

“Makenzie, you performed that song in a completely different way. In your part, you did your thing, hit some crazy notes,” he added. “And Lauren, you are a powerhouse. That scream that you do? I don’t even know where to start with who you choose.”

McEntire told both ladies they are “terrific performers” and noted that Underwood doesn’t record easy records. “Lauren, you came out of the gate ready,” McEntire said. “Makenzie, great performance, too. I’m proud of you both. If I had to make a decision, I think it’d be Lauren.”

Bublé said he had “nothing to critique” about Makenzie’s voice, but ultimately would pick Lauren because of her moves on stage. Snoop told Makenzie she’s a “superstar” and gushed over Lauren’s “strong performance” from the get-go. He ultimately picked Lauren as the winner of the Battle.

“What I loved about Lauren’s performance is she can really go another notch,” he explained. “I feel like Lauren has the experience to get her to the Finals.”

Max Chambers vs Aarik Duncan (Team Bublé)

Max Chambebrs and Aarik Duncan performed “Just the Two of Us.” Snoop praised the guys for their chemistry and for “complementing” each other instead of “outworking” each other. He said Max would be his choice for the winner of the Battle.

Max Chambers and Aarik Duncan

Griffin Nagel/NBC

“Aarik, you’ve taken it to a different level, man,” Horan said. “You really stood out in a great way. And Max, you’re just a complete natural. It was so good to watch you just shine up there.” He admitted he was “leaning towards” Max as the winner.

McEntire told the guys they gave a “spectacular performance” and noted how “comfortable” they were together. She selected Aarik as her would-be winner. But the decision was Bublé’s.

“Aarik, your voice has just a gorgeous tonal quality, such a richness,” he shared. “You’re perfection, man. Max, there’s a lot of right that comes out of you. You’re 14, but you come with a lot of maturity. You were hitting notes I haven’t heard you hit before.” He picked Max as the winner of the Battle, noting that the teenager “has the potential to become a star.”

Aiden Ross vs. Ava Nat (Team Niall)

Horan gave Aiden Ross and Ava Nat his own duet “What a Time” to perform. McEntire told them that they should consider performing as a duo if their solo careers don’t wokr out.

Ava Nat and Aiden Ross

Griffin Nagel/NBC

“Aiden you have such a beautiful voice and I just love watching you go into your falsetto,” Bublé said. “Ava, there’s such a sweetness and richness in your tone.” He chose Aiden as the winner of the Battle, because the “falsetto kind of melted me.”

Snoop pointed out that he “wanted both” Aiden and Ava on his team and even turned his chair for their auditions. He hinted that he would “do some things” if he had the chance to. Horan told his team members that the performance “was everything I wanted it to be and 20 times more.”

He ended up choosing Aiden as the winner of the Battle due to his “level of consistency.” However, he also pushed his Save button for Ava, while Snoop hit his Steal button. The choice was then Ava’s, and she decided to stay with Team Niall.

“I had to use my Save,” he said. “I love Ava’s voice. I love her ability to tell a story. She does it simply better than anyone on the show.”

Leyton Robinson vs. Manny Costello (Team Reba)

Leyton Robinson and Manny Costello were tasked with singing Chris Stapleton‘s “Think I’m in Love With You.” Bublé said it was “incredible,” noting that Leyton could “sing the phone book,” and raving over Manny’s “gravely, amazing” voice. He “leaned towards” Leyton as the winner, though.

Leyton Robinson and Manny Costello

Griffin Nagel/NBC

Horan told Manny his voice was “really great,” adding, “Your grit in your voice is something I didn’t really hear last time stand out. And you can run, too, which I never heard.” The One Direction singer also praised Leyton’s “piercing voice that you can hear in any harmonies.”

McEntire told both singers she was “proud” of them and noted that they’ve grown, even since rehearsals. She picked Leyton as the winner because she felt like she could help her more as they move forward in the competition.

Vinya Chhabra vs. Conrad Khalil (Team Reba)

Vinya Chhabra and Conrad Khalil performed a duet of “It Takes Two” for their Battle.

Vinya Chhabra and Conrad Khalil

Griffin Nagel/NBC

“Conrad, I would call you a show dog because when those lights come on … PIZAZZ!” McEntire gushed, before choosing Conrad as the winner of the Battle.

“Conrad, he was a one-chair turn from me, but he has grown so much in this process,” she shared. “His voice is great and I think he will continue to grow and improve.”

Emmanuel Rey vs. Mindy Miller (Team Snoop)

For their Battle, Emmanuel Rey and Mindy Miller sang “Angel From Montgomery.” While it was more in her wheelhouse than his, he managed to make it his own.

“Emmanuel, how you held your own in a song that wasn’t leaning your way, that says a lot about you,” Horan praised. “That’s real artistry to put your swing on a song that’s not particularly your lane. Mindy, your voice is amazing and the level you’ve taken it to since the Blinds is next level.”

McEntire told Emmanuel he can probably “sing just about anything,” and noted that it was “really a treat” to listen to Mindy sing. She chose Mindy as the winner, but the decision was all Snoop’s.

“Emmanuel, when you put the Spanish in there, you turned me all the way up,” the rapper said. “To me, you’re an artist. Just so you know, I have a label. We’ll talk about that later. Mindy, the minute you started playing and singing, it felt like it was your record. You were comfortable with this record. The thing I’m interested in seeing is what can happen outside this wheelhouse.”

Luckily, he’ll get a chance to do just that as he continues to coach Mindy, as he chose her as the Battle winner.

Kirbi vs. Carolina Rodriguez (Team Niall)

Kirbi and Carolina Rodriguez sang Lauren Daigle‘s “You Say” for the last Battle of the night. McEntire told them the performance was “angelic” and admitted she wasn’t able to pick one a winner.

Snoop made sure to note that he still had his Steal to use, as Horan struggled to make a choice. “It was beautiful,” he gushed. “It was emotional, it was everythign we want in a Battle. What’s really hard is you two have become such good friends over this. Kirbi, that rasp is so beautiful at the top of your register. Not many people have that. Like Snoop said, you looked like a veteran up there. Carolina, the way you started that song, to sing low in your register, straight out of the gate, was so impressive.”

Niall picked Kirbi as the winner because she “really gave me the emotion that I wanted from that song.” However, as expected, Snoop stole Carolina. “The thing I loved about Carolina the most was her growth, hearing her from the Blinds to now,” he noted.

Heading into the last night of Battles, here’s where the teams stand. Each coach has one more Battle pairing to complete their teams, while Bublé also has his Steal remaining.

LeBron James Says He Warned His Accountant Never To Steal From Him: ‘Ain’t Going To Be Good For You’

LeBron James recently opened up about his early financial fears and how his rough upbringing shaped his trust issues.

During an upcoming appearance on his wife Savannah’s podcast “Everybody’s Crazy” with co-host April McDaniel, James revealed that when he first started working with a financial advisor, he had one clear warning: “If you steal my money, bro, or if I’m broke, bro, I’m letting you know, bro, it ain’t going to be good for you.”

In the clip obtained by People, Bron explained that growing up “in the projects in Akron, Ohio, and not having sh*t” made it difficult to trust anyone.

Selena Gomez’s Colorist Nikki Lee Spills the Star’s Wedding Day Hair Secrets (and Tips Every Bride Can Steal)

Beautiful bride! Selena Gomez tied the knot with Benny Blanco on Saturday, Sept. 27, in a stunning Santa Barbara, California ceremony. But before she walked down the aisle, the Rare Beauty founder made sure her luscious locks were every bit as magical as her fairytale moment

A week before the big day, the Only Murders in the Building actress enjoyed pre-wedding hair TLC with her longtime colorist and Nine Zero One co-owner Nikki Lee.

“There’s a lot that goes into wedding prep, and your hair color is no exception,” Lee tells ET.

Petra Collins

“When I helped Selena get ready for her wedding, we talked about how she planned to wear her hair down, so it was extra important that her color was rich, luminous, and frizz-free.”

To achieve this, Lee whipped up a custom blend of Wella Shinefinity (6/0, 5/37, and clear) for a warm, elegant tone with mirror-like shine, followed by an Ultimate Smooth treatment to boost reflection and keep the singer’s hair smooth.

The end result? “Sophisticated, radiant, and completely timeless. She was the most stunning bride,” the hair guru gushes.

To emulate Gomez’s flawless look, Lee suggests brides-to-be give their strands extra attention leading up to the celebration.

“Begin treatments as soon as you can. Wella’s Ultimate Repair line is my go-to for strengthening and prepping strands before doing any big color work.”

Next, choose a shade that feels classic to you with the help of an expert.

“Schedule a consultation with your colorist to talk through your inspiration and find the look that flatters you best,” she advises.

Lee encourages every bride to ask themselves, “When I look back at my photos in 20 years, will this feel like a fleeting trend or like my most beautiful, authentic self?”

Timing matters too, so be sure to book your appointment 8 weeks out.

“This gives you enough time to live with your new color and make sure it feels perfect,” the hair expert explains.

And her golden rule? “Skip the last-minute drastic changes,” Lee laughs.

Instead, she suggests one last polish just before your wedding.

“This is the moment to refine your color, add shine, and keep stress levels low. … Stick with a gloss and treatment.”
