The production house of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah – Neela Film Productions, have released an official statement putting these rumours to rest. They said, “We would like to clarify that the reports suggesting Bhavya Gandhi’s return to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah are completely untrue. The recent buzz around his comeback is purely speculative and aimed at creating unwarranted gossip.”

Their statement further read, “Such rumours often circulate, and we urge viewers and members of the media to avoid giving them attention. Our current Tapu, Nitish Bhaluni, is doing a fantastic job, and audiences have been wholeheartedly appreciating his performance and energy on screen.”

Any Official Announcements Regarding The Cast Will Be Made Solely Through Neela Film Productions

They added, “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, created and produced by Asit Kumarr Modi under Neela Film Productions, continues to entertain and connect with audiences across generations. We truly value the love, nostalgia, and unwavering support that fans continue to express for the show and its characters. We would also like to reiterate that any official announcements regarding the cast will be made solely through Neela Film Productions.”

Bhavya Gandhi essayed the role of Tapu – the only son of Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) and Daya (Disha Vakani) from 2008 to 2017. In 2017, he replaced by Raj Anadkat who was then replaced by Nitish Bhaluni in 2023.

People Media Factory, the production house behind this high-profile entertainer, clarified that there is no truth to reports of postponement and confirmed that the film is set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on January 9, 2026, as a major Sankranthi attraction.

The Raja Saab Producer Issues Official Statement On The Film’s Release Date

Producer TG Vishwa Prasad issued an official statement on behalf of the team, “In response to the ongoing speculation surrounding the release plans of Rebel Star Prabhas’ upcoming magnum opus The Raja Saab, the team wishes to clarify that all such rumours regarding a postponement from Sankranthi 2026 are entirely baseless.”

Continuing its statement, read, “The Raja Saab will hit theatres worldwide on January 9th, 2026, as officially announced. The post-production work is progressing at a brisk pace, maintaining the highest technical standards without any delay. Every department is operating in perfect sync to ensure that the film reaches audiences in its most spectacular form. This larger-than-life cinematic celebration is being crafted with immense passion, designed to deliver a great theatrical experience to audiences across the globe. Ignore all the rumours and enjoy the euphoria and excitement this Sankranthi will bring. We shall soon begin the promotional materials rollout with the biggest bangers in the business.”

Directed and written by Maruthi, the film features Prabhas, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, and Boman Irani. It is slated to release worldwide on January 9th, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.

Director Amar Kaushik, who has helmed several MHCU films, recently addressed the speculation in an interview with Filmfare. He said, “When it happens, everyone will know. I’m not denying or accepting anything right now. We focus on the story first and think about casting later. Thankfully, we don’t write scripts based on actors.” He added that the team strives to maintain honesty in filmmaking: “We make films for the audience. If we make a mistake, tell us on Instagram or anywhere else. We just want to keep it pure, like our first film, Stree.”

According to a Pinkvilla report, Alia is enthusiastic about partnering with Maddock for the project. A source revealed, “Alia has been in talks with Dinesh Vijan for a while. She’s loved a psychological supernatural thriller, which could be her next after Love And War. Talks are on, and things may be finalized by early 2025.”

Earlier reports also suggested that Shah Rukh Khan was approached for Chamunda alongside Alia. However, Bollywood Hungama reported that the actor declined, as he preferred to start a new cinematic universe with Maddock and Kaushik instead of joining an existing one.

Meanwhile, the latest MHCU film Thamma, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, recently hit theatres. The film introduced Aneet Padda as Shakti Shalini, replacing Kiara Advani in the role.

King Charles and Queen Camilla arrived in Italy on Wednesday evening. They just did a tarmac greeting with various Italian and Vatican officials, then they went to their hotel or whatever and rested for their big day, which is today. These photos are of Charles and Camilla arriving in Vatican City. Today is the day when Pope Bob (Pope Leo) gets to “pray” with a divorced Anglican adulterer who is sheltering and protecting his rapist degenerate brother. This whole thing is part of Charles’s bucket list for some reason, he’s been trying to stage something big with a pope for a while. Pope Francis didn’t play his games, but Pope Bob is like “sure, whatever, let’s do this.”

So, let’s talk about Camilla and what she’s wearing? There’s a dress code in Vatican City, for general visitors, including women not exposing their knees or shoulders. Specifically for Protestant women who are heads of state/first ladies/queen consorts, women are expected to wear black and be as covered-up as possible, with some kind of head covering. Incidentally, there’s an exception for Catholic queens, like Spain’s Queen Letizia – it’s called “privilège du blanc,” which means they can wear white when they’re meeting a pope. So, Camilla is an Anglican divorcee and adulterer, and as such, she had to wear black and some kind of head covering. I’m not sure they were expecting THIS headpiece though. What in the world?

Anyway, it’s worth noting that 2025 is the Vatican’s Jubilee year. That’s why Charles has been so focused on visiting the Vatican this year in particular, almost to the exception of everything else. I still find it odd that the head of the Church of England is so focused on this.

But it’s what he said, and how he said it, that caught people’s attention.

While emphasizing the diversity of the people who are employed in Saudi Arabia, Salman observed, “There are people from Balochistan, there are people from Afghanistan, there are people from Pakistan… everyone is working here.” The observation — innocuous as it seemed — invited widespread discussion since it seemed to differentiate Balochistan from Pakistan.

Most of the internet users appreciated the remark as a recognition of Balochistan’s uniqueness. A user said, “When Salman Khan remarked ‘Balochistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan,’ it says a lot. Balochistan is a country. Baloch is our identity.” Another user said, “Salman Khan dropped a geopolitical bombshell casually — dividing Balochistan from Pakistan. That is not a slip, that is awareness.”

Others wondered if it was a slip of the tongue or on purpose. “Big moment. Slip of the tongue or flash of brilliance? Who knows,” wrote one.

Salman Khan has not commented on the viral moment so far. He shared a podium with fellow Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan at the forum.

Balochistan, the resource-abundant yet troubled province, has for years been an issue of sensitivity in South Asia. While there are demands by certain groups for greater autonomy and a charge that the Pakistani state has abandoned them, Islamabad insists that Balochistan is indivisible and that separatist sentiment is because of external interference.

Accidental or not, Salman’s statement has reopened debate on the identity of the region and the prevalent tensions.

KISS’ Gene Simmons Hospitalized After Car Crash: His Statement

KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons was hospitalized Tuesday after a car crash in Malibu, California, NBC4 Los Angeles was the first to report.

Simmons’ wife Shannon Tweed let NBC4 know that the rocker was recovering at home, while a rep for KISS told Billboard on Wednesday (Oct. 8) that Simmons is “already back to work.”

Also on Wednesday, Simmons sent a message to fans through his X account thanking everyone for “the kind wishes” and assuring, “I’m completely fine. I had a slight fender bender. It happens. Especially to those of us [who are] horrible drivers. And that’s me. All is well.”

According to the NBC4 report, the crash was reported to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department just before 1 p.m. PT when Simmons’ Lincoln Navigator reportedly crashed into a parked car on Pacific Coast Highway. He told deputies on the scene that he had either fainted or passed out before the crash, according to the L.A. Sheriff.

Next month, Simmons and KISS are set to perform together for the first time since December 2023, when they wrapped up their End of The Road Tour with a two-night stand at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. The band announced in March that they would reunite as part of the three-day KISS Kruise: Landlocked in Vegas event, which runs Nov. 14-16 at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. The event promises two makeup-free KISS Unmasked shows — one acoustic and one electric — plus activities with Simmons, founding frontman Paul Stanley and 2002-23 guitarist/vocalist Tommy Thayer.

Tyrese Gibson Booked On Animal Cruelty Charge, Releases Statement

Earlier this month, a tragic incident occurred involving Tyrese‘s four cane corso dogs and allegedly killing a neighbor’s Cavalier King Charles spaniel in their Atlanta neighborhood. After a warrant was issued last Monday (Sept. 22) for Gibson’s arrest, the “Sweet Lady” singer has now chosen to turn himself.

According to NBC, jail records show Gibson was was booked on a charge of cruelty to animals and released on bond. Records show neighbors said four cane corso dogs were seen running through the neighborhood on Sept. 18 and killed a neighbor’s 5-year-old Cavalier King Charles spaniel named Henry.

The police report states security footage showed Gibson’s four cane corsos running toward Henry’s home. Henry’s owner said he let his dog out into his yard after 10 p.m. to use the bathroom and found him dead in the driveway five minutes later. On the same evening of the attack, a woman called animal control to report that four cane corsos were at her door and she needed to be escorted to her vehicle, per NBC.

The report also stated that Gibson “admitted that he believes his dogs killed Henry and that he knows it’s been an ongoing issue over the past few months with his dogs getting out.” On Sept. 22, animal control went to the Fast & Furious actor’s home to have him surrender the four dogs, but he refused over the phone and said he needed a few days to figure out his next steps. They returned to his residence the following day with a search warrant, but Tyrese and the dogs were not there.

The official statement from Gabe Banks of Banks Weaver Law Firm, Gibson’s legal counsel, reads as follows:

“Earlier this morning, Mr. Tyrese Gibson voluntarily turned himself in to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office to answer the misdemeanor warrant. Earlier this week (Tuesday), Mr. Gibson’s legal team worked with prosecutors and successfully secured a consent bond for his immediate release. He has now been processed and released. Despite what others might say, throughout this entire process Mr. Gibson has cooperated fully with legal authorities and will continue to do so until this matter is resolved. Mr. Gibson once again wants to extend his deepest condolences to the family who lost their dog and respectfully asks for privacy and understanding as this matter is handled through the appropriate legal channels.”

In a statement posted to Gibson’s Instagram account before his booking, Banks shared his client “accepts full responsibility for his dogs.” The statement also explained Tyrese made the decision to get his cane corsos because he felt he needed protection from “stalkers randomly showing up at his home,” and the dogs have never viciously attacked anyone until this recent incident.

Gabe Banks of Banks Weaver Law Firm wrote, “Since the day he learned of this tragedy, Mr. Gibson has been actively trying to reach out to the family directly to express his sorrow and condolences. He knows nothing can undo their loss, but he wants them to know he is truly heartbroken.”

Tyrese, in his own quote, concluded with, “I had no idea I would ever wake up to this nightmare, and I know the family must feel the same way. To them, please know that my heart is broken for you. I am praying for your healing and for your beloved pet, who never deserved this. I remain committed to facing this matter with honesty, responsibility, and compassion.”

NBC states that Fulton County police captain said Gibson had received a warning on Sept. 7 because his dogs were seen running through the neighborhood more than five times over the past few months. In Tyrese’s statement, he shared his decision to rehome his two adult dogs and their three puppies “in safe and loving homes” because the liability of keeping them “was simply too great.”

Read Diddy’s Final Statement Before Being Sentenced To 4 Years

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sentenced to 50 months in prison on two counts related to prostitution following his July conviction.

Before the decision was handed down, the music mogul was afforded the opportunity to give a final statement to Judge Arun Subramanian Friday (Oct. 3), hoping to secure a 14-month sentence, which would’ve effectively be time served.

Combs, 55, began by thanking the judge for allowing him to speak for himself before diving into his regrets, CNN reports. “One of the hardest things that I’ve had to handle is having to be quiet. Not being able to express how sorry I am for my actions.”

“I want to personally apologize again to Cassie Ventura for any harm or hurt that I’ve caused her – emotionally or physically,” he said of the ex-girlfriend he was recorded assaulting in 2016. “I would like to apologize to her family. I’m so sorry. I would also like to apologize to ‘Jane.’ I didn’t mean to hurt you. I’m sorry that I brought you into my mess.”

He also wanted to, “personally apologize to all the victims of domestic violence, ‘cause I know that video – that disgusting despicable video – it’s triggered a lot of people all around the world. Domestic violence will always be a heavy burden that I will have to forever carry.”

Combs went on to describe his behavior as, “disgusting, shameful and sick. I was sick. Sick from the drugs, I was out of control.” He added that he “needed help and I didn’t get the help. Because of that I can make no excuse and I can really make no excuse because I knew better. My mother raised me better. I was taught better. My faith taught me better. I got lost in my journey of life. I’m not this larger than life person. I’m just a human being.”

“I’ve been trying my best,” he went on. “I got lost in excess, I got lost in my ego. because of my decisions I lost my freedom I lost the opportunity to effectively raise my children and be there for my mother.”

Combs also spoke of losing businesses and his career due to his actions, “but most of all, I lost my self-respect,” he added. “I’ve been humbled and broken to my core. I hate myself right now. I got stripped down to nothing.”

“I want to apologize to my seven children,” Combs added of his kids, who spoke on his behalf earlier in the day. “Y’all deserve better.” Addressing his mother, he added, “You taught me better. You raised me better. I know to whom so much is given, so much is expected. I failed my community.”

“Growing up as a kid, I just wanted to be a shining example of what we could do,” Combs told the judge. “I say we, as people of color, that we could own our own businesses, take care of our own communities, raise our own children, solve our own problems, create our own wealth, take care of our own problems. That was my mission. I got lost. I’m not this bad person. I’m sorry to my community for letting y’all down.”

“Sometimes no matter who you were before you get so shaken, it just changes your trajectory, it just changes you and it changes you for the better. Sometimes you have to go through life experiences,” he said. “These are not excuses. I can’t change the past but I can change the future.”

“I ask your honor for mercy,” Combs said. “I beg your honor for mercy.”

“I ask Your Honor for the chance to be a father again. I ask Your Honor for the chance to be a son again. I ask Your Honor for the chance to be a leader in my community again. I ask Your Honor for a chance to get the help that I desperately need to become a better person because I don’t want to let God down, I don’t want to let my family down.”

“I don’t have nobody to blame but myself,” he continued. “I know I’ll never put my hands on another person again. I know that I’ve learned my lesson. I’m willing to comply with any conditions the court puts upon me. Given a chance, when we talk about the possibility of me sharing my story, it’s not just a scheme to try to get less time — it’s that this story is real, this story is tragic.”

Combs also thanked the jury that, while convicting him of prostitution charges, found him innocent on the far more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. He also emphasized that he understands the seriousness of the charges he’s been convicted of, sharing with the courtroom, “I understand the severity of it, and I’m having to deal with the consequences. And I take full accountability and responsibility. Now … I know, the prosecution wants you to make an example of me. I just want you to think about making an example of what a person can do if they get another chance.”

The prosecution sought out a sentence of 11 years.

“If you give me another chance, I won’t let you down,” Combs went on. “And the evidence of that is those beautiful children that got up there and spoke for me. I would never, ever, ever jeopardize being in this situation again, being away from my family that needs me. That’s my deterrence.”

Combs then thanked the judge for his time before the court took a short break. Less than 30 minutes later, Judge Arun Subramanian handed down his sentence of 50 months. Subramanian also imposed a $500,000 fine against Combs, the maximum fine he can order.

The trial has just begun in a rape lawsuit against Metro Boomin – but attorneys for the superstar producer’s alleged victim are asking for a mistrial, saying a defense lawyer made improper claims about her sexual history during opening arguments.

A jury in Los Angeles federal court heard opening arguments on Tuesday (Sept. 23) for the civil case brought by Vanessa LeMaistre, who alleges she blacked out after ingesting Xanax and alcohol in Metro Boomin’s studio during a 2016 recording session and later woke up to the producer (Leland Wayne) raping her.

Metro denies the claims, saying the case is a “classic celebrity shakedown” that LeMaistre concocted while hallucinating on ayahuasca. He has always maintained that their 2016 sexual encounter was consensual – but lawyers for LeMaistre say Metro’s team went too far during opening statements on Tuesday by arguing that the two had also had consensual sex before that night at the recording studio.

In all sexual violence trials, there are strict rules that limit the defense from alluding to an alleged victim’s sexual history or apparent proclivities. Typically, a defendant needs to ask permission from the judge before bringing up any sexual conduct that is not tied to the specific incident at issue in a trial.

LeMaistre’s attorneys – led by Michael Willemin of the powerhouse plaintiff’s firm Wigdor – say in a mistrial motion filed late on Tuesday that Metro’s lawyers did not properly seek judicial approval before making these statements about their prior sexual history (which LeMaistre denies).

“If plaintiff’s counsel was provided fair warning and a [hearing] was held, the claim that plaintiff engaged in consensual sex with the defendant prior to the sexual assault would have been precluded,” Willemin writes. “And, even if the court made the determination that the claim of consensual sex pre-dating the sexual assault was far more probative than prejudicial, plaintiff would have known such information was going to be permitted and would certainly have addressed it in plaintiff’s opening statement.”

Willemin says there’s “no possible way to undo” the prejudice that Metro’s opening caused, since jurors cannot unhear this statement. He’s asking Judge R. Gary Klausner to declare a mistrial and start the whole case over again.

Judge Klausner will likely address this issue before the trial is set to resume on Wednesday (Sept. 24). Metro’s lawyers from the firm Sanders Roberts did not immediately return a request for comment on the matter.

LeMaistre sued Metro in 2024, claiming she met the producer in Las Vegas in the spring of 2016. LeMaistre says she confided in Metro about the recent death of her 9-month-old son, and that they “bonded over the ability of music to help people in their darkest moments.”

But LeMaistre’s belief about her bond with Metro allegedly “shattered” the following September, when the producer invited her to watch him work in his California recording studio. LeMaistre says she had a shot of alcohol and half a tablet of Xanax, then blacked out, waking up on a bed in a different location “completely unable to move or make a sound” while Metro raped her.

LeMaistre alleges she became pregnant as a result of the assault and had an abortion in November 2016. Notably, the lawsuit claims the attack is referenced in Metro’s 2017 song “Rap Saved Me” with Offset, 21 Savage and Quavo.

The lyrics in question, rapped by 21 Savage and Offset in the chorus, are: “She took a Xanny, then she fainted/ I’m from the gutter, ain’t no changing/ From the gutter, rap saved me/ She drive me crazy, have my baby.”

The lyrical reference in LeMaistre’s lawsuit is surprising, since Metro is a music producer and songwriter but does not typically write lyrics or rap himself. Metro has denied writing the “Rap Saved Me” lyrics, as well as the rest of LeMaistre’s allegations.

Metro’s position is that LeMaistre has transformed a consensual sexual encounter into a false tale of rape in order to squeeze money out of him. He’s focused heavily on LeMaistre journal entries from when she was high on ayahuasca in 2024, in which she detailed a “plan” to sue Metro for more than $3 million.

The issue of ayahuasca took center stage when LeMaistre testified in court on Tuesday following opening statements. According to a report by independent journalist Meghann Cuniff, LeMaistre insisted from the witness stand that she did not hallucinate on the drug. Rather, said LeMaistre, the ayahuasca merely helped her come to terms with the fact that her nonconsensual sex with Metro had been rape.

Metro himself is due to testify during the trial, which is slated to last four days total.
